In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

What in the world was going on here? What were the Queen and Caxnon talking about? Not like the rest? As in males? Not that she understood that concept anyway, considering her world was female-lead to begin with, but, still. She frowned lightly in concern--was there something wrong?
"Does it intrigue you not what could be troubling him as well? It have already caught the spotlight, so might as well cast light on this mystery we have here."
Okay, so granted, she ate the praise right up, though she wouldn't let it show; pride was a very dangerous thing to have since it caused stupidity, and stupidity was a quick death. Okay, so maybe it showed just a little bit by the pinkening of her cheeks--it seemed she did that alot.
But what Jadis said was right. "It does..." she said quietly. It wasn't that she wasn't concerned about him, she just...sometimes, it wasn't her place to meddle. She wasn't sure though.
"Caxnon, I don't know you that well, but...you can tell me if something is wrong, okay?" she said lightly. It wasn't forceful, but a mere suggestion. Her hands ringed themselves behind her back--was it because of something she did?
The Nobody gave Antique a nod. Then he took deep breath, before speaking.
'' Well..first of all, I can't remember much about myself, It's like there are gaps in my memory, which makes me question my existence. But the main thing thats bothering me is...(The Nobody glanced at Antique once more before continuing.)
When I touched her I felt something, which is strange, because as I'm not supposed to feel right? Or so I'm told '' Caxnon said with a sigh.
'' I don't understand anything anymore, I just want to know...who I am..and why I'm...different.'' he added.
After he finished he lowered his gaze and looked at the floor. He didn't really want to see their faces, at the moment.

"Well dear that answer is quite simple. Antique hear can be a mere trigger of memories hence you remembering what you shouldn't supposed to feel. Memories are what help you be and allow you to exist. It seems you won't meet your fate too soon, since Antique here is triggering them."
Jadis poured it out as if it was obvious, which it was. There wasn't anyway to feel unless he remembered. The works of the human mind was just as mysterious as nobodies and heartless. One could be surrounded by water and it can be a dream incorporation. The mind can lock away memories for the sake of sanity.
"You see the human mind is more complex than anything even your existence. You shouldn't think too much on something that's all in your head. You see nothing to worry about."
'' Well..first of all, I can't remember much about myself, It's like there are gaps in my memory, which makes me question my existence. But the main thing thats bothering me is..."
Antique folded her arms carefully over her chest as she listened. She really was kind of at a loss for words at the moment, except she didn't know what she would do if her memories had a gap...unless they did and she didn't know it. She'd heard about this kind of thing before though. What was it called? Amnesia? She heard about other knights getting it if they had a really stressful battle or if they had a traumatic blow to the head. Which made her wonder what kind of person Caxnon was. Did he hit his head somewhere? She remembered him mentioning earlier about not knowing about his home world. Not that she was a healer or anything, but it sounded like a head injury to her.
"When I touched her I felt something, which is strange, because as I'm not supposed to feel right? Or so I'm told ''
Wait. Hold on. What? She unfolded her arms, and glanced at her calloused hands. Is that was going on?
"Well dear that answer is quite simple. Antique hear can be a mere trigger of memories hence you remembering what you shouldn't supposed to feel. Memories are what help you be and allow you to exist. It seems you won't meet your fate too soon, since Antique here is triggering them."
Antique smiled at Caxnon, though she was still observing her hands, wondering if going to this weird place somehow gave her magical powers. If she didn't watch herself, soon she'd be wearing a ridiculous sparkling and lacy outfit, carrying a magic wand, and declaring herself to be a hero of love, right? She shuddered inwardly at that thought. She hoped not.
"Maybe I remind you of someone you know!" she smiled. Her hands fell to her sides. "I know that sometimes when I look at people, they can look alot like people I knew from home," she said gently. But something about what he said still bugged her.
"Not to be rude or anything...but...why aren't you supposed to feel anything?"
Caxnon gave Jadis a quick nod. Though he still wondered why this was happening to him, he would have to figure this one out later, right now he would just have to deal with his current situation.
"Not to be rude or anything...but...why aren't you supposed to feel anything?"
Well that was unexpected. He knew only the basic things about a Nobody, but that was more than enough to explain to Antique. Caxnon folded his arms before speaking, he wanted to make it easy to understand.
'' Well you see, when a Heartless steals someone's heart, the person turns into a Heartless themselves. However, if a person with a strong heart has his or her heart stolen, they leave an empty shell behind. These shell's are called Nobodies, they are thr bodies of people who have lost their heart.'' Caxnon said.
He glanced at Jadis for a minute, wondering what she was thinking.
'' Because they lack a heart, they are unable to feel. In other words they have no emotions'' he added.
The Nobody then waited for Antique's response, he thought he explained it well enough.

"He have no emotions, no heart, no longer human." Jadis summarized. There was no point in trying to seperate himself from saying they he was one as well. "And like many, nobodies, sons and daughters of nothingness, struggle to regain what they lost...at times any way possible including going after sons of Adam and daughters of Eve."
Jadis shook her head in soft tsk, while looking at the sky seeing another star twinkle. "Oh, how unbalance the universe has become...There's far too many disturbances tarnishing the balance of nature. I wonder how nature would snap..."
Antique stared at Caxnon openly as he explained as to why he wasn't supposed to feel emotion. Yes, yes, she knew about the Heartless--after all, they had been devouring her world for years. The very fact that the destruction of the world had been held off for as long as it was was probably miraculous. But--the Nobody business, that was new information.
Antique's eyes went wide with this new information. It did explain alot about Caxnon, anyway. But he was a Nobody? He really had no heart? Her eyes narrowed, well, rather, squinted as she observed him closer. Well, he didn't -look- like someone without a heart.
"But..." she was about to say. What was she going to say? Her entire concept of things without a heart were kind of thrown out of balance. Her own world's mythology was thrown out the window. People with no hearts were deathly pale, and sometimes sucked on young girl's necks. They exploded in sunlight, or even sparkled! Well, it was all folklore and anything, though she did want to know if she shined light on him if he'd sparkle. Not like she'd try. Okay, well, maybe she would. But it was all myth, and things.
"So...you're a Nobody. And...you died...and...you don't have a heart?" she asked slowly, piercing things together. And yet he was moving. Why was his flesh not falling off of his face? Why was he not green with decay, or stiff with rigor mortis or bloated with insects? The girl was obviously just a little bit confused. Thank goodness she kept her mouth shut for what was going on in her head--though the facial expressions she made probably revealed what she was thinking.
She tapped her cheek. "And you've exhibited some...kind of emotion...right?"
"And like many, nobodies, sons and daughters of nothingness, struggle to regain what they lost...at times any way possible including going after sons of Adam and daughters of Eve."
Turning on her heel to look at the Queen, she smiled softly. "Would that...make Caxnon an exception?" she said, her voice lilting up wards with bit of teeny tiny hope. Her hands traveled lightly over her heart. "I mean, I'm...still in tact," she said lightly.
Would it still have been that was if Jadis hadn't come along, though? the voice in her head asked. Of course it would have been!
...Right?
"Oh, how unbalance the universe has become...There's far too many disturbances tarnishing the balance of nature. I wonder how nature would snap..."
Antique couldn't help but wonder if the unbalance of the universe was really just the universe's way for slapping man and woman kind back though. Surely, everything had to happen for a reason.
Her shoulders sagged a little bit, confusion a little bit overwhelming.
((Couldn't help but making a couple of pop-culture references in there. <3))
'' It's a lot to take In I know'' Caxnon said. She seemed to be taking it better than most people, the last person he told tried to cut his head off.
"He has no emotions, no heart, no longer human."
Caxnon sighed and turned to Jadis. '' Must you rub it in ma'am?'' Caxnon asked her. He wasn't used to being called a Nobody to his face, but...he would just have to deal with it. He waste sure what to think of Jadis, was she a friend or foe? Or both? Only time would tell.
"Would that...make Caxnon an exception?"
The Nobody was actually surprised at the comment. He decided to say something on the matter.
'' It's true that Some nobodies, would stop at nothing to regain their hearts. But attacking humans, is......wrong. Jadis If I may, you say that acceptance is key. Then what about those nobodies who choose to steal hearts? They haven't accepted anything. Doesn't that make me different from the rest?'' Caxnon said.

Jadis' brow arched slight at the word exception, "The problem with exceptions is that they tend to go against the balance of nature as it disrupts a pattern. So exception isn't the best word of choice. Now different is an entirely different matter."
The White Witch listened to Caxnon. "They have accepted the fact that it takes a heart to complete. The one thing for them to question is whether they can ever grasp humanity. If they can't, will they ever accept it. Does that make you different? Quite, you don't steal other human hearts, but that doesn't mean you'll follow a similar to path, finding a heart."
"It's the path we take that makes us different. In the end, we're the same. Mortals can be just as emotionaless and void as a Nobody, while drive on pure instincts like a Heartless. In the end, we carry similarities amongst us and not even knowing it, while prosecuting each other. It's just the lessons, pains, and etc. differentiates us all for that's what truly make us different. Our memories formed us to what we are including our decisions."
"With something like that, I hardly pick a side. I don't hate heartless like so many. Not so long ago, they were mortal, and easily can mortals revert to a carnal stage. Why hate something that lives so simplistic like any animals? After all that's what we are. It's just when the supposed hunters becomes the hunted...everyone have a problem. How many times had mortals acted so careless and lack apathy when it came to personal gains?"
"Now would I be considered an exception, A woman, empressess, witch, sorceress, who uses the element of darkness, but only seek the natural balance instead of all of these ludicrious labels like followers of 'light' and 'darkness'?"
What Jadis had to say really had to make Antique think. A sort of cognitive dissonance happened in her head, if only because she had already set ideas about on how the world worked. First it was about Nobody's. And now she talked about the Heartless....whcih already didn't ring a good bell with her.
If only because they had been devouring the heart of her world for years...and bad things seemed to happen to it. But there had been times when she wondered if her world deserved it to begin with. Sure, there were good people, but there were bad people too. And Antique thought what she had been doing was right when she followed her own Queen, thought she was doing her country a favor, but when shit literally hit the fan she didn't know what to do anymore.
She had to overthrow her own "Heartless" queen--but slaying her had been the end of her world. Her hand lightly touched her forehead, a slight headache coming on, covering her eyes. Antique couldn't really say she was light or darkness, good or bad, since she simply took orders before. She had slayed people and the Heartless for fealty's sake, and when she thought she had been doing good, her world disappeared. She knew she had to make amends, but it felt like she had been trying to do it for so long. Her sense of right and wrong was what she followed in her gut nowadays, but she honestly had no idea if they were even right.
She looked up at Jadis, and smiled, though it was obvious that what she had said had troubled her.
"I..." she began, her shoulders slumped only slightly, barely noticeable to the untrained eye. "I honestly don't know, m'lady. What you say is asking me to think in a completely different way," she said. Though she was trying. She could see it from what Jadis said, but she had her own thoughts conflicting.
Light and darkness, good and bad. If Jadis used Darkness, that would make her bad, right? But Jadis didn't seem to be a bad person. Not at all. Antique even admired her--the woman's elegance, her wiseness--how she was sure of things. Those were things the lady knight lacked. The admiration though, was plain to see.
"Elemental magick, and most magicks aren't possible in my world, so," she said quietly. "I wouldn't know how Darkness and Light worked, really," she said, honestly. "I only know things from folklore, and that's...about it," she said, her face blushing. She didn't like admitting her own shortcomings, but she felt it was necessary.
"My world's fairytales would suggest that using darkness is a bad thing, but..." she paused. "I don't think you're bad at all!" she said, then turned to Caxnon. "I don't think you're bad either!" she said, and paused. But she did think it a bit strange that he didn't have a heart. Or emotions. It almost didn't sit too good with her, and weighed heavily. But his actions spoke louder than what he was--and as long as he wasn't reaching into her chest and ripping her beating heart from her chest cavity, or trying to kill her, then she supposed she was perfectly fine.
Caxnon listed toJadis's words, then thought about them before answering.
'' You are..unusual. I really don't approve of drakness either. But....maybe If used the right way it can help. You don't seem bad, that doesn't mean you don't have your own motives. So far you have done nothing but help, so I trust you.'' Caxnon said to Jadis.
Even though he knew that there wa something that wasn't quite right about his woman, he didn't have any choice but to trust her. He was sort of allies anyway. TheNobody then turned to Antique.
'' You may not understand anything right now, but in time you will'' Caxnon said to her.
He thought about the condition of th worlds, and how darkness was spreading.
'' You better hurry up, keyblade master'' Caxnon thought.

"Darkness doesn't need approval. What people fail to realize is that darkness and light are elements. They are each other balances. To much of either one would be bad. Without one you can't explain the other. How can you come to describe light without knowing darkness and vice versa? I just find it pathetic that many would pin evil with darkness. Why? Everything we know accept nobodies and heartless is made of light and darkness. Even the worlds live in a plane of both elements."
"The only good is the mutal balance. What if someone a knight of light decided to eliminate all darkness, even the darkness within people. What if that knight of light demanded perfection out of the imperfect, while seeing something so simple like light as perfection? Without darkness, the term of 'negativity', we can say there wouldn't be any growth..."
"Don't worry children. Sides doesn't matter. The only thing that matter is the mutual balance the worlds should be in. This time its darkness and nothingness rising leaving light to attempt to fix the balance. Hopefully we won't see the day when light try to rise negatively as well."
Antique covered her mouth delicately with her fingers, feeling her stomach drop. Oh goodness, she was absolutely guilty of those kinds of things. Her head turned sideways, as if in deep thought, fuchsia eyes staring at the ground. It was kind of like being told that everything you've done for the better part of your life was absolutely wrong. Or close to.
Where did that leave her?
She shut her eyes. She had no idea, kind of wishing an idea would slap her in the face. Was it really her job to really try and fix things? Help out the light? She thought that was exactly what she was doing in her home world...but she had been just following all along? How would she know now?
But Jadis had said that sides didn't matter. Only equalness did. Darkness wasn't evil, but an element.
Light rising in an imbalance? That would be like...her stomach turned. When did good and evil become so difficult?
She smiled, though strained, and had nothing to say, instead letting her inward throughts spin in her head. Her hand lightly touched the hilt of her claymore that hung on her side. The sword was really all she knew. It had formed into a sword a long time ago, and hadn't changed. She was a knight. Walking conflict itself. She looked down at it, half expecting it to change into something else.
"What's worth fighting for, then?" she mouthed, ever so quietly, barely audible except for perhaps herself.
'' It's trure that light and darkness are eternal elements, but what should really matter is how they are used. Right now it's darkness that is once more attemting to take over the worlds. So the only was to achive true balance is to stop those who are using th Darkness negatively'' Caxnon said.
Things did start becoming clearer, and easier to understand. Before the nobodies came, it was just light and darkness, the two eternal elements. Which could only mean...
'' Are you saying that, in order for there to be true balance. Nobodies must disappear'' Caxnon asked Jadis.

What's worth fighting for, then?
"There's plenty. We could surrender to darkness and become Heartless living a simplistic life of duplication and survivng, which will create nobodies. With that, nobodies would attack the hearts to achieve full existence to not come to their fate, fading." Jadis replied before looking up at the cool sky feeling a breeze pick up. "We can welcome that knowing we would living in utter war with survival against ourselves, or secure what we are now, life as we know it."
'' Are you saying that, in order for there to be true balance. Nobodies must disappear''
"That I am unsure. People may say that science prooved that nobodies aren't meant to exist. That's quite the contrary, since every action have an equal reaction. A heart falls to darkness becomes a heartless, who's body becomes a nobody. For them to fade, heartless would still be present."
"Personally, I think nature made it that way for the fallen heart to learn a lesson for it can reach a goal of restoration. It seems that both sides are quite stubborn and fixiated in their own comfortable personal bubble to walk blindly. What do heartless want? They wish to not be alone for their failure had led them to their current state. People may call it instincts, but I think that's their heart crying out in despair."
"What do nobodies want? They wish to be complete and feel being human. Being a nobody may feel like being nothing, because you feel nothing. You feel like you're no one, because you don't feel like how you were, human."
"What makes matter worse? They want extra materials and power, while the truest power may be right at the....tip of your nose. You may wonder why I know so much. You learn a lot with old age."
