In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Ienzo gave a quizzical look. "Maleficent? A Heartless? Au contraire, unfortunately. Maleficent was never a Heartless. I read up on her long ago after meeting her myself. She believed that in order to control Darkness, you had to keep your Heart as far away from it as possible." The man with raven hair looked to Antique. His silver eyes held something strange, perhaps a vast intelligence. Millions of peices of data flowed through those silver orbs as he examined the surroundings.
He relaxed and sat back in the chair he had chosen. He lifted his right arm and examined the tattoos that stretched down it. "Your name is Antique?" A small smile graced his handsome features. "Maleficent is a horrible witch who plans to control the Worlds by Darkness, using her Heart as a weapon. She is powerful, so she does not fall into Darkness like normal humans. Be careful if you ever meet her... We don't need any more Heartless running around."
The air seemed to be so tense around Mikael that she was tempted to pull out Clarent and attempt to slice the air. Fortunately, the musing was held for a short time as he explained who Maleficent was. Her eyes widened as she absorbed the information. She made a mental note to stay away from anyone who was like that.
If she had the choice.
Trouble just kind of had it's cute little way of finding her.
"My name? Oh...oh, yes, it is," she said, bringing her attention back to Ien, who was looking at the tattoos on his arm. She pulled her eyes away just to see him smile then. Her face turned pink of it's volition, and she looked away, stammering over her words.
"T-then I'm glad there's other powerful witches out there!"
Mikael felt his suspicions increasing as Ienzo replied. His eyes narrowed, wondering if he had heard correctly. Could this creature... this Heartless, could it read other people's thoughts? If so, things weren't going to end well. "I never said she was a Heartless. Or was. I can't count on her keeping what remains of her human being, though."
"I know for sure she isn't one hundred per cent human. Those horns scream demon, devil, or corrupted fairy." The man quickly glanced at Ien's tattoos, only to quickly look away. They had never caught his eye, those poisons to the body. Only used as false marks of strength and glory to fighten others. Mikael wasn't getting one anytime soon.
"T-then I'm glad there's other powerful witches out there!"
"Witches?" Mikael preferred to use the term "sorceress", as it didn't sound as despiteful as the previous one. Regardless, sorcerers were indeed powerful, at least in his world. They were the ones who had completely mastered two or more elements completely. At his city, Pyro Village, the most common sorcerers were the ones controlling Earth, Wind or Light in addition to Fire. The dark flame combination had also been seen, but it was much much rarer than the previous three.
Ever since Elona had been destroyed, Mikael had only met one sorceress: Jadis the White Witch. Wise and strong, yet close-minded and slightly ignorant. A powerful ally, and a deadly enemy. The man was sure that she could defeat Maleficent with ease. "I'm sure Maleficent will soon bite more than she can chew; her downfall is close."
((D: Oops! I read your post wrong. I thought you said that aloud. Hmm... Maybe I can hide it somehow. Perhaps Ienzo recognized the expression? If it needs to be changed, just say so.))
More powerful witches? Bite off more than she could chew? Ienzo thought on these statements for a moment. Maleficent wasn't the type to make enemies. As far as he had seen, she chose to work in secret, using peons to do her work. Normally, the peons never even spoke her name. He just couldn't picture her making enemies.
He listened to the conversation, wondering exactly what was to come of it. He had to admit, he wasn't a fan of Traverse Town, but it seemed that he had befallen some good information. Maleficent was alive. He could use that to his advantage. But...
He had to know.
"I am not sure what you mean. There are other witches out there?"
"More of those things exist?" Antique asked, his eyebrows knitting together. Granted she hadn't been in Traverse Town long enough to meet too many of those things yet. Considering she came from a world where magic was basically non-existant, things like that still suprised her. Belief in those sorts of things were kind of highly frowned upon--but Antique by this world's laws was still a child...even if she was considered an adult in her home world.
"I feel like I've walked into a really odd fairytale sometimes," she mummbled. If she were to meet a god or a dragon today...well, this was Traverse Town...she had to be prepared for everything.
She smiled at Mikael, then at Ienzo. "Well, to be completely honest, I've only met one. I'm only assuming there are lots and lots of them. Well, wait, two," she said, and tapped arm as she crossed them. "I don't think calling a boy a Witch is appropriate though," she said, trying to think of the male-term for a Witch.
((Guys, you can shoot me, starve me and rip my undead heart out of my body for the long delay. And it's ok Sin, your explanation makes sense.))
"Mhm," Mikael nodded, looking at Antique. "Also, encountering certain... speaking animals is usual at some places. As for myself, I have only met three... no, five." King Mickey, Simba, Kiara, Bonnie and the lovely 627. He wiggled his nose, remembering with disgust the red furball's green balls of mocus.
The boy tilted his head, listening to the rest she had to say. "An odd fairytale..." He frowned, thinking about it. Well, everything seemed so real to him! He couldn't possibly be part of a simple story, dream or roleplaying site! ...Right?
"Well, I'm pretty sure I'm real... I remember things."
As Ienzo and Antique continued to speak, Mikael crossed his arms, trying to remember names of magicians, sorcerers and witches he had met. So far, he could only remember two who weren't diseased: Maleficent, Mistress of All Evil, and Jadis, The White Witch. "I know several magic users, but so far only one could be classified as a "witch" or "sorceress."
Ienzo looked between the two. Witches and Sorcerers... Elaeus would mant to hear about these odd people. Maybe Ienzo would store some Data on them. He needed to start studying again anyway. His silver gaze went to Antique. A smile...
"Antique. Sorry for not noticing before now, but you're quite cute in an abstract sense. Is the hair color natural or constructed?" She was definitely the character who stood out most. Ienzo always enjoyed a show of emotion through physical means, although he would never try himself... This Antique was interesting. "What are you expressing through your extravagant colors?"
"Talking animals?" Antique asked. She tried to imagine the horse she had once had speaking. Not alot happened in her imagination. But now she missed her horse...granted...it was really only hers during battles. Shaking her head out of thoughts that weren't going to do her anything good but make her homesick.
"I know several magic users, but so far only one could be classified as a "witch" or "sorceress."
"The only one I know right now, I'm studying under....but from where I come from, if you know magic, you're a witch...though it doesn't happen often, really. It's...not usually a good thing there, to be completely honest."
Witch hunts from the other Kingdom. Those...were definitely not enjoyable. She chewed on her lip nervously, not liking to think about those. How easily she and her fellow knights had been twisted around from war propaganda.
"Antique. Sorry for not noticing before now, but you're quite cute in an abstract sense. Is the hair color natural or constructed?"
Ien definitely had caught her attention, and forced her into quite a red blush. "I...uhm..." she said, stammering a bit over her words. Compliments usually did throw her off, anyway. She shook her head, gathering her thoughts together, as she touched her hair, bringing a tendril in front of her.
"It's not my natural color at all," she said. She wasn't afraid to admit it. Maybe because her natural color was more bizarre than this medley of colors. "The blue...was an accident...ah...more of a prank...but I kept it because I liked it," she paused.
"Blue inks and black inks look a great deal alike...but the pink I did myself," she said, her face sobering up. "Miles...my, ah, adopted father's garden. In May, when he was still alive, his garden was the only one that would bloom pink roses," she said, although quietly.
"There were rarely any sunny days after the Great Darkness," she said quietly. "But somehow Miles made his garden bloom prettier than anyone else's," she whispered. "But in retrospect, I don't think he really was from my world. He acted a bit different than everyone else," she said, smiling.
"Ah! I'm sorry! Blabbing on..." she laughed, nervously.
