In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

The Nobody rushed forward, a light song playing through the air. The notes were fast and cheery, a song of Light and happiness. Indeed, a green shimmering lined the gaping slash on Kitty's back, and Cure stretched the skin back across, leaving only a throb where the wound once was.
The girl pronounced the word to him again, and he heard it all around him. Messiah. He ran forward and played another fast tune, feeling the air compress around him. In a flash, three balls of fire hit three separate Heartless. He stood in front of Kitty and stared at the Heartless that had cut her. It dropped to the ground, its body burnt beyond recognition.
The Nobody didn't feel anything. No. It was empty. But it disliked these Heartless. And the people were killing the black things.
The flute hit its non-existent lip once more and it played again, lightning erupting from above its enemies.
What once was a terrible situation become a chance for victory: Caxnon had a second wind and with his sense heightened he sliced, diced and froze the heartless, going as far as stealing back Kitty's blade from the hands of the pitch black creatures.
Messiah, as usual, used his deadly melody to destroy and crush the heartless. However, what was more impressive was his ability to heal fatal wounds. Just what was he exactly? Kitty was almost as good as new thanks to the witchcraft he performed on her.
"Miss Kitty, do you feel better n-..." The detective couldn't complete the question. A terrible aura of uneasiness invaded the third district, and a large mass of pure darkness emerged from the place the deranged man was seen before his demise.
A large head followed by two arms as big as trees arise from the "black hole" the mass of darkness created, and those arms were swung wildly attacking even the heartless as the creature they belonged to continued rising from the darkness. It was a Darkside heartless, and one special for it had a human-like figure within that heart-shaped hole in it's chest.
"R-revenge ..." The human-like figure was the deranged man and after saying his last words as a sentient lifeform, his no longer human body become the core of the giant heartless. Now he was a Neo shadow-Darkside hybrid born from the same darkness he once tried to use for his own gain.
As if the colossal creature of chaos still held grudge for their betrayal, it crushed any heartless in it's path as it blindly advanced towards those humans and nobodies who were the cause of his death as human.
"Rebirth by darkness ..." Reiho once more picked her weapons and joined her companions. The other heartless apparently realized this giant one was not a friend and returned back to their world of darkness, leaving the team of 4 to fight against the embodiment of the deranged man's cruel heart.

Kitty sighed and hissed when she felt the wound in her back closing up. She looked above her and smiled.
"I knew you were good, Messiah. I just knew it."
Kitty stood up and cracked her back. She felt great! She glanced around for her sword and sighed when she saw it in the ground. She grabbed the dagger at her hip and smiled when she saw the "monster".
"I've been through heck and back in a twenty-four hour times span. I've had my back sliced open and my brains nearly spilled out of my head. I've lost my sword several times now, and now, this thing shows up. Can this day get any better? Messiah, Reiho, let's end this!"
Kitty jumped up in the air, leaving Reiho and Messiah on the ground. She felt her power surging through her body, and she focused on her sword. Her sword flew into her hand, and she twirled it above her head.
"C'mon Mom, don't fail me now. Let's hope this works!"
Wind began to form around Kitty's sword, and it shifted into the shape of a dragon.
"Dragon's Breath!"
Kitty brought her blade down, and the dragon lunged towards the Heartless. She fell to the ground and watched as the monster stumbled backwards.
"Reiho! Caxnon! Messiah! Let's show this thing what we're made of!"
It seemed that the crazy man wasn't done yet. Caxnon wished it would all just end, the heartless were getting out of control, but maybe If they defeated this thing..it would reduce the number of heartless.
The nobody ran towards the heartless and slashed it several times across it's face, which blinded it for a while.

Kitty landed on the ground and glanced up at the Heartless monster. Thanks to Caxnon, the . . . thing was blind. Kitty glanced around at the Heartless.
"Time for some payback."
Kitty charged, sword level with her shoulder, and she swung at the Heartless. She drove her sword into the ground, flipped over the blade and landed a swift kick in a Heartless' chest. She yanked her sword free and took a swing at another.
"Man! These things won't quit! How to kill what can't be killed?"
The Nameless Nobody stared at the Heartless and looked around. He couldn't see any piece of the surroundings that could be used as a weapon... And, being a Nobody, he couldn't perform White Magic beyond the basic healing (which wasn't truly Light magic in the first place. It was just improperly named so.) Neither could he use true Darkness.
Against this Heartless, he could do nothing, so he concentrated on keeping the smaller Hearless away with Reflect magic. He created shields around the group, giving them the chance to attack when they needed to.
The Nobody played short pieces with powerful, miniature finales, giving the last few notes a bang, and a shield shot up around him, knocking a few Heartless back as their damage was reflected onto themselves.
(Um ... there's no ceiling in the third district's plaza. It's an open area where you can clearly see the sky. Also, couldn't you try to wait a little before posting again? It was my turn next and I had the post halfway done before I noticed you posted again while I was writing, and later is Rex/Caxnon's turn and finally yours again. I can't use anything from your post for mine, so either edit the part with the ceiling or delete it and post again later after mine and Caxnon's post, ok?)
The giant heartless was an opponent to be feared. It's gunblade induced blindness lasted as much as a ice cube inside of a volcano. And it wasn't the big deal as the Neo-shadow within it's empty heart guided it's movements until it's sight recovered.
The giant engine of destruction wasn't amused by Caxnon's flurry of gunblade slashes and retaliated using it's trademark homing dark energy attack, eight of them in total with different targets: four against the nobody who briefly blinded him, two against the illusionist and two against the melodious musician of flames.
In certain way it was a blessing that Reiho joined the battle against the giant heartless late after having spend some time protecting the injured man (left in a safe corner), because the focus of the giant heartless was into the three who were in full assault against him and the few remaining heartless still lingering in the area
"If we don't stop him he'll destroy Traverse Town"
Reiho swiftly shortened distance with the Darkside and prepared to leap on one of it's arms. Alas, her plan was foiled by the Neo-shadow Core of the Darkside, which jumped out of the heart-like hole of the bigger heartless and delivered a powerful punch attack at Reiho, an attack barely stopped by her wooden sword.
"Murderer! You sold your soul to darkness!"
Reiho felt anger against the Neo-shadow component of the Neoshadow-Darkside symbiotic enemy. Afterall it used to be human and for it's foolishness it was now a powerful creature of darkness.
The Neo-shadow dodged Reiho's slashes becoming a shadow on the floor and in a moment of distraction, made her drop her wooden sword with a uppercut once it arise from the floor.
Reiho tried to react again but many shadows hold her, keeping the detective immobile. The darkside had plunged it's arm into the floor during her battle with the Neo-Shadow and summoned many of the weak but numerous pitch black monsters.
" .. ... ... ..."
Speechless, Reiho was simply speechless. Completely unable to move, she couldn't do anything other that with her slowly fading pupils watch how the Neo-Shadow, taking advantage of the shadows holding Reiho immobile, touched her chest with it's hand.
It was one of the most painful experiences every felt by anyone. The Neo-Shadow not only touched her chest, he penetrated her very essence with his arm, and slowly retracted it, with the detective's heart struggling to remain inside it's body after being in contact with the arm of darkness.
"M-m-my heart ..."
With a desperate attempt to keep her heart, the justice loving girl used all her strength to shake off the shadows holding her captive and with her gun shot at the head of the Neo-Shadow, injuring it but not enough to destroy it.
A light shone within Reiho's chest. It was her heart clinging to her complete self. She barely stopped the heartless at time, but her entire body was in extreme pain.
The excruciating agony was terrible, so terrible that Reiho simply fainted. A heart touched by darkness needed time to heal, and hers was still struggling against the darkness left by the Neo-Shadow, which still wandered near her, lusting for the heart he almost devoured.
Everything at the moment..went to hell. The nobody saw as Reiho nearly lost her heart, and how kitty was laying on the floor motionless even though she had been healed. Something clicked in Caxnon's mind, he suddenly started attacking the heartless like a wild animal.
He activated the blades on his shoes and started hacking down every last heartless in that area.
He finished the huge heartless by sending a huge Ice shard through it's body.
Caxnon stopped and put away his weapon while he was panting. He checked both Reiho and kitty's pulse. Reiho seemed to have fainted, and Kitty..wan't in a good condition.
The nobody calmly stood up and for a few seconds remained..motionless, then all of the sudden he started punching the wall next to him.
'' NO, No no no, NO!!. I should have stopped them sooner...crap...damn it!!. I-should have been faster!!'' Caxnon said. The Nobody failed to notice that he was freezing the buildings in front of him. And before he knew what was happning..about six of the buildings cracked and broke into bits of frozen rusted metal.
This sudden display of power used up almost all of his energy, the nobody sank to his knees.
'' Why..couldn't..I save them..Why..is this happening..again?'' Caxnon said as several unfamiliar memories rushed though his head.
The detective found herself inside a pitch black zone, where she couldn't even see her own hands, let alone trying to see beyond them.
"Darkness is neither good nor bad ... darkness is simply darkness"
A voice guided her through the pitch black zone, a dim light road appearing and ending in front of a door as black as the darkness itself even when illuminated.
"open it"
Unable to think clearly, she opened the door and the very essence of darkness flowed from the door into Reiho's avatar.
"No, it's too soon to open that door!"
Another voice, this time a female one, called Reiho and the opened door was closed. The previous voice remained silent did not talk again after that.
"What is this place?"
With the first voice gone, light illuminated the pitch black zone. It was a large room with many doors, and Reiho's avatar in this strange zone was a featureless humanoid figure, fashioning a shining dark emblem on it's chest.
"This place is a reflection of your soul, containing many memories."
The feminine disembodied voice continued talking, it was the voice of a young female probably in her pre-teen years.
"Don't worry about the darkness for now. It's more important to save the one you came to protect ..."
Once the voice finished talking, a flash illuminated everything and the next time Reiho was able to see again, she saw the floor of Traverse Town.
"That's right, i was attacked and fainted ... the battle! "
Her chest still ached due the attack of the Neo-shadow but she felt good enough to stand up. Everything looked different to how it was before she fainted, ice shards decorating the walls and floor of the third district, and the most important thing of this new scenery: there was no heartless at sight.
"Mister Caxnon, Miss Kitty, Miss Messiah!"
The strange dream and the attack of the heartless were still fresh in her mind, but she had to shake off those thoughts, it was way more important to assess the situation
"Mister Caxnon?"
Reiho soon found Caxnon. Something was wrong with him, he was kneeled down, looking at the floor with an empty expression in his face.
