In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Well not many of you know, but I hit a big patch of black ice on Thursday and slammed into a tree. I'm perfectly fine expect for my shoulders hurting like hell from the seat-belt. Car was deemed "undrivable" by the towing company and the insurance (State Farm) is assessing the damage today to give us that nice check to pay off the car and put a down payment on another.

HOLY SHIT. YOU ARE SO F***ING LUCKY TO BE (relatively) UNHARMED.
I was in a similar accident recently (Dec 27th), but instead of a tree, I didnt make an S curve in the road, (Damn Sleep Attack) blew out my front passenger tire and my rear driver tire on a curb, and dragged three sections of fence for thirty feet. ^_^;
My car was also "totaled" but only because one of the axels busted through the transmission, both airbags went off, and the underside of my car looks like it was mauled by a giant cat. ^_^
Good to hear that you are safe! (and you're "lucky"- I'm not going to be allowed to drive for at least a year or two, until my doctor can prove that I am not going to fall asleep at the wheel again)
I don't have any pictures of my car, but i do have one of my license plate, just to give you an idea of the damage to the underside of the car- that was the front License plate. ^_^;
same. It shouldn't be that bad, though. You see, I was in an accident in October 2008 where we ran head-on into a tree. I was not driving, but another cadet(as I was at that time) was. The idiot decided to turn around on a curve and....well.....we hit the tree dead center....it went halfway through the front of the car to the cab. It ended up twisting the driver's spine so bad he was within a fraction of an inch of being paralyzed, and the guy riding shotgun nearly died of internal bleeding. I myself made it out with minor chest pain, and the guy driver's side passenger seat just got a bloodied nose. go figure the one with no seat belt would be the one with the least injuries, eh?
