In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Sin closed the door behind him, feeling his body change slightly. The gray took ahold of his skin and he felt it spread across him, enveloping his clothes. He looked around, wondering what this World would hold. Had he been here before? If so, he couldn't remember it at all.
It was truly a blast from the past. Sin wondered what could be held here. Rubbing his cheek, he continued forward, his mind racing with thoughts. Fear of the future with the flame of defiance still strong in his Heart.

"This is where a great treasure of this world lies. Unfortunately, the king of this world decided to move it from the present, but it's still about here in the past. For now, we shall seek it out by beckoning the darkness."
Elaeus' head whipped towards Synthest, "You can refute, wish, beg, or complain, but as a Heartless you can call on Darkness as well. Deny what you truly are in the comforts of idiotic logic of illness, but you will call unto it."
Elaeus will drown this world in darkness to reveal the hideout of the abundance of light, since it will try to fight it off and reject it. By that he could find and retrieve before completely tainting it. Such a task couldn't be given so lightly especially to the likes of Lea and with a synthesizer the process of tainting the Cornerstone shall be easier.
Syn shrugged. "I don't fear the Darkness, if that's what you're asking. About that girl, I just don't see the point in torturing innocent souls. Lea had no right to tie himself to her. He will only end up hurting her in the long run."
He looked around the world of gray and sighed. He was doomed. And now they were going to find the Cornerstone. This wasn't good. Still... Why did Elaeus want him?

"Then let that be Lea's problem for his fondness of humes and let him suffer the consequences, and that young woman should adapt to this universe. It's survival of the fittest and the naive will fall as well. You should learn that too. The more you deny yourself a heartless, which you are the more chaotic it will be for you." Elaues barked back with a low growl. It was getting agitating how things can never run smoothly. Someone always have to take a damn detour.
"Now, as a warning, you stepped out of line today. Never do it again." The heartless continued on forward. "Also I have other things to do than lecturing, and you have a task to do here as well."
"We shall seek out the Cornerstone, and then you will synthesize darkness to it...tainting it. You can synthesize, since the irony isn't only in your name...Synthest." He didn't wait for an answer as he started to summon darkness to pool in the world. Wherever the light is it will start to reject it making it's hiding place known. "We have work to do."
Sin listened to him speak and smiled. He was a Synthesizer, that was obvious. Synthest wasn't even his true name... No, that name was hidden.
The teen kept his eyes open as they walked forward and remembered what he normally chose to forget: His reason to exist. Why was he alive? Because he had to live for the person he loved. He held her in his Heart and memories, and she would forever be the thing that brought him happiness, no matter how much Sinlust attacked his body. He would regain his real name when he killed the man who murdered her, and he would settle the debt that he owed to her.
That was his Light. He couldn't ever forget her. And as long as he remembered, he would be able to struggle against the Heartless inside of him, the one that had been imprisoned inside of his blade... The reason the metal had been dyed black.
Sin shut his mouth and nodded. "Elaeus, I understand that you have goals, and for the time I am here, I understand I'm meant to follow orders..." He rubbed the iron shackle on his wrist that his Heartless had built in a show of sarcasm. "I realize that I'm not Light, but I don't think I'm Dark. Not to be disrespectful. I think that I'm a mercenary at this point, destined to fight for whatever beliefs are stronger than me."

"You will soon realize that there's on Light, Darkness, or simply nothing; they aren't anything else. Now, find the Cornerstone, it isn't guaranteed that we would be alone for the time being." Darkness swarmed as heartless rippled out of the increasing mass. They were Earthly toned canines and began roaming throughout the world wrecking havoc. Naturally townspeople would be frightened at the sight of them, and not stick around to interact with the Gaia. They were sent on a mission to drag on the Darkness until something rejected it.
Elaeus walked on and spot a few signs of direction. Cornerstone Hill had caught his attention as he narrowed at the print on the wooden post. Walking on the path, he didn't sense any rejection, conflict or light. The Hill top was empty of anything precious, no stone. "It seems it's farther than presumed. Someone had moved it."
"I guess they learned from the last time this realm was disturbed, or something else caused it..."
The Cornerstone of Light. The very object that stopped Heartless from coming near this castle... No wonder they had gotten in without a fight. The sacred object was not here.
Then it clicked in Sin's mind. No wonder he had been assigned for this mission. He glance shot to Elaeus. The man knew that if anybody could touch the Cornerstone without dying, it would be him. Sin. Because in truth, Elaeus realized that he wasn't a Heartless. Sin felt a chuckle inside, something he hadn't felt in a while. So he really wasn't just another Heartless to these people. And they didn't want him to know that.
He looked around, waiting for an answer. He sure as hell wasn't leading this job.
((Yuck. Short post. Didn't really know what to do here.))

Actually Sin's purpose was quite simple despite being a Heartless in denial. Sure there have been heartless that can tap into light, Elaeus was close to it as well, but not many can synthesize. Although heartless can corrupt light, synthesizing could easily make the process quicker, especially if one was to assemble more dark alignments to the stone through synthesis.
Everyone have a role to play whether they be pawn or knight, but regardless the stone needed to be found for this to be worth anything. It was obviously moved from it's main post. Perhaps they reacted from the first time, and it was hiddened. Still light cannot stay hidden for long.
Summoning Gaia, the canine heartless scattered with darkness emitting from their paws to stretch darkness' horizon until it impact a sense of resistance, light.
Even stepped through the door that lead to this odd place called Timeless River. As he stepped through, he transformed from his normal awesome self to a retro, black-and-white version. It actually fit him quite well he thought. Sure, he enjoyed his blues and his greens...but he also found this black-and-white version very interesting. Hmm...I'm going to have to experiment on the reason that this change happens...it's very...interesting to say the least! he thought as he joyfully walked around wondering where Eleaus was.
Today was going to be a good day, and Even could tell. He was ready to wreak some havoc on this peaceful world, and he was ready to help find the Cornerstone of Light, and help Eleaus taint it with darkness so that it could be used for the Dark XII's purposes! But...where to start...that was the real question. Even was unable to think of where Eleaus would possibly be...but then agian, Even had only been here once before. So, he just started to "smell" out Eleaus' "scent", attempting to find him.
It didn't take long for Even to find the "scent", and after finding it, and finding another "scent" one that he thought he had encountered before...but he just wasn't sure. Since this mysterious "scent" seemed to be following the same direction as Eleaus', Even followed it, still unable to figure out where he had encountered it before.

With loud growls, the gaia ambushed the towns in the building Disney Castle, but they were ordered to leave the hearts be, since ther was something of more value to capture. Their howls rang loudly causing the natural heartless that dwelled in the past to arouse from their slumber, which scared the Animals to cower in there houses.
"Come along Sin, we must find the light. We'll see if it's true...in the deepest darkness...there's light..."
His pace quicked as he head towards the river. Elaeus wasn't surprised to see the docks empty. Then again he wasn't as if he was suspecting company any time too soon.
