In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

(I heard you needed some heartless! BANG!)
Lurking inside the corridors of darkness, the swarms of heartless moved, devouring all that lay within their path, occasionally leaving their safe haven to risk all for the sake of hearts, the purest of hearts, the strongest of hearts, for that is what the heartless’s goal was. To collect hearts.
A small swarm of 12 had been moving together, the Snag Propellers moving swiftly through the darkness, a heart to the side, and another, one very pure. Heartless had no use for names or identities of people, there were just hearts, nothing less, and nothing more.
As the small dark spheres rolled up in a circle around Sir Lucas, out popped a Snag propeller from each. Each with its own wants and desires, all of which were identical. The crave for hearts. 6 appeared around Sir Lucas, the other 6 appeared around the Queen, all of them working as a team, as the hive mind of the heartless allowed them to.
Without a word the heartless began.
The first 2 snag propellers attempted to latch onto the feet of Sir Lucas, whilst the third went from behind, trying to grapple onto him with its tentacles. The forth and fifth both went for the arms whilst the 6th went straight for Lucas’s chest, were the heart was.
Meanwhile, with queen Minnie the heartless swirled in a circle around her, waiting for the first to act. The first one went from behind, attempting to latch onto the back of her head. The second third forth and fifth went for a limb each whilst the sixth again went for the heart.
These heartless were very co-ordinated; they hunted in packs, their technique perfected. The tentacles they had easily strong enough to rip bones from sockets and the teeth they held more than sharp enough to rend flesh from bone.
"YOUR HIGHNESS! STAND BACK!" Was all that Sir Lucas yelled as the Snag Propellers appeared. In a reflex he drew his long sword from his scabbard. There he had held his hand on the handle al this time. And took the shield from his back. Because of this moment to take up his arms, he didn't had the time anymore to strike before the hovering arrowhead squidlike heartless launched their attacks.
Sir Lucas realised that he was surrounded, and in a strong disadvantage if he remained here. His first reaction as the two heartless went for his legs was to dive forward and roll out of the circle. Brushing through the hanging tentacles of the ones in front of him. And getting out of reach of the Snag Propellors behind him. The sound of his silvery platemail banging and scaving over the ground could be heard as it produced a high piched scrape that echoëd through the hall of the cornerstone. Their coördinated attack should be fumbled as the Snag Propellors were now getting in each others way.
Rolling up to his feet again he spun around to face the group of heartless again. Now at least they were all in front of him. He raised his shield to provide cover as he took another couple of steps back. To his horror he then witnessed that another group of 6 of these monstrosities were also surrounding the Queen. But his own enemies were already on the move again and he needed to deal with their actions first.

Minnie was about to instruct the little ball of light to expand to give them some light before she heard a shout. Her head snapped to see squid like heartless surround Lucas as the instantly latched unto him like a blood sucking parasites, LEECHES! To react quickly, she placed her hands together to form a triangle with her fingers until her arms were yanked away from the position.
Expressive eyes narrowed feeling the heartless tentacles wrap around her ankles and wrist leaving on to disect into her chest to take her heart like a surgeon. Brows dipped before a spark of light splashed in the heartless vision as Minnie conducted Blind, an attack that should by her some time to wiggle free during their disorienation if blind worked effectively.
The light ball of light remained were it floated still, since its manipulator was highly distracted by the ambush. Wiggling her hands free, she can feel her gloves drop away, while the Rodent stepped back. Holding hands out, balls of light began to funnel before shooting away like comets at the Snag Propellers.

The snag propellers that had attempted to latch onto Sir Lucas were surprised as their target disappeared and they all collided together. For any lesser heartless, they would have been stuck, latched together. They were not some lesser heartless, despite there small size, they were resilient, and all easily communed together, after colliding, they took up a new formation, an arrow, two of the heartless started at the front whilst another two launched themselves up into the sky. The final two went straight for Sir Lucas, hopefully the knight would be too distracted by the two charging heartless to notice the two in the air that quickly propelled downwards, mouths open, gasping with their razor sharp fangs for the sweetness of a heart.
The group for queen Minnie thought they had it. When the hands were latched along with the feet, the heart was there for the taking. Until a blinding light flashed and hurt them, reluctantly their grasp was knocked off and they loosened just enough for the rodent to slip away like the mouse she was.
They reformed quickly, getting ready for another attack when light started funnelling towards them. It would easily destroy them all. One of the heartless quickly flew in front of the blast, swirling its tentacles around like a shield and dieing along with the blast. The heartless then poofed into the small dark orb from which it came, that left 5.
The remaining five showed no remorse for their fallen comrade who had sacrificed itself for the others. It was his duty, and you don’t get praise for doing what you should. The 5 quickly spread out; hopefully if they spread out they couldn’t be picked off again together. One of the snag propellers launched towards the back of Minnies head whilst the other four all charged from the four directions North, East South and West in an attempt to stop a block or dodge.
As the first two Snag Propellers charged straight at Sir Lucas. The Wolf Knight readied himself. Bringing his blade to his left side, lingering under his shield. He awaited the strike, calculating their speed, all done in an instant. Fueled by years of battle experience Sir Lucas would meet their charge with a carefully timed counterattack.
At the moment they would come within range, Sir Lucas swung his long sword at the two Snag Propellers. Using a backhand swing to put more force into it. As the shimmering steel cleaved the air. Inmediatly after the swing, following in a natural fluid motion, Sir Lucas brought his shield in front of him and the Snag Propellers to shield him from the remaining and surviving heartless in front of him. Should his counterattack have failed, this would at least bash them to the side.
Taking all his concentration in this attack, he was to late to react to the two diving from above. Gasping as he staggered back it was to late as the two latched themselves on his body. Entangling round his shoulders. But instead of the soft tender flesh of man, their mouths tasted the cold hard substance of steel and silver. Their teeth beeing blocked by his full body platemail armor. Cold to the touch and also sharp and pointy. Prohibiting them of reaching the heart inside they so much desire. Still Sir Lucas could feel the force of their mouths. As cracks and dents were beeing formed over the elaborate pieces that made up his shoulderguards and upper arm plating. He letted out a short scream while struggling with the leeching heartless.
Forcing and straining his arms, the sturdy male saw the final two attack but blocked their attempts with his shield that was already in place. Still his movement was now hindered. Getting enraged by the battle and adrenaline pumping through his veins the Wolf Knight growled menacingly and left the two latched on Snag Propellers for what they were. And appealing to all his strenght he charged himself forward, swinging and striking with his sword to the Snag Propellers that were still in front of him. Letting out a deep roar.

Seeing the black mist of the heartless made the Queen less tense, but she was still on her guard. Although one was down, it didn't leave a bigger window of distraction to the remaining; it seemed that they weren't frightful of defeat. This is what makes heartless so dangerous; they were die hard fans in reaching their ultima desire.
Her hands formed again for another bundle of light to be launched at them, but they already had their act in motion as they clinged to her frame. Closing her eyes, Minnie meditated into concentration forcing stress away from her. An white aura formed around her as she uttered one word, "Faith".
Light began pulsing around her widening in radius to consume the heartless that surrounded her small frame. Her small head shook to set her free from the Snag Propeller above her as she jerked arms and legs around to break away from the attachment.
Hearing a growl, she looked up to see that Sir Lucas was still standing as he used his knightly blade against them, while the Queen was weaponless with Virtues to far away relying on what she can pull off by hand.

The snag propellers that were attached to the Queen were quickly dissipated into a cloud of dark smoke. Only two managed to avoid the blast by quickly entering the corridor of darkness and then re-appearing shortly after the blast.
The snag propellers were not stupid, they didn’t stand a chance against this light wielder. The two remaining turned their attention to Sir Lucas.
The sword swipe succeeded in slashing one of the heartless into two, it slid apart before dispersing back to the darkness, the other managed to avoid it, latching its tentacles around the blade and using it as a swing it managed to avoid the shield slam. The two from the sky now dinting into the armour bit further and harder, they then pulled back with all their strength, if the plan worked the shoulder plates would be pulled off. The one that was wrapped around the sword attempted to bite at the hand of the warrior, it wanted that sword gone and fast.
Poor Sir Lucas was not having a lucky day as the two that had escaped queen Minnie came hurtling towards the back of his plate, trying to blast themselves into the back of his knees, if successful forcing him to his knees. The two that had before stayed back now lunged in for the kill, going straight for the now hopefully revealed shoulders so that they could dig their teeth in and feel closer to that heart.
Sir Lucas felt that there was something wrong with his charge towards the Snag Propellers. His blade wouldn't follow his hand so effortlessly as it normaly would. From the corner of his eye, he saw how one of the two had wrapped itself around his long sword and was trying to inch his way to his hand. Still the teeth stumbled upon the gauntlets that were wrapped around the hilt. Making sure that Sir Lucas could still hold firmly to his sword.
Gritting his teeth the knight also felt the tugging at his shoulders. As the Snag Propellers were trying to tear off his shoulderguards. But his platemail armor wasn't a normal one. It was the royal Wolf Knight Armor of the Barony of Nordenfrosd. The finest his father could affort. Their attempt did leave the shoulderguards cracked and brittle. Small pieces and chips where missing as holes were ripped out of the platemail. But the majority remained on his shoulders. Although in a strongly weakend state. Shoulderguards are a complex setting of many articulating plates of metal and joints. Hinged together at various places. It would take a lot more effort from these small heartless to tear it apart.
The warrior noticed how the heartless were setting up for another attack. Their tactics where by now clear to the knight. As they worked like a group, always trying to surround their target while each heartless took up a specific task and role. He tensed up and regained focus. With his hand he started to make powerfull circling motions with his long sword around the Snag Propeller that was latched on to it. It had used it as a swing before and now Sir Lucas was using it against it. Wrapping the squidlike creature around his blade to make the two become a solid whole.
This time beeing alert, he spotted the two going for his knees in time and turned to face them. Repositioning his legs, and brought down his sword on one of the two. Stabbing down with the tip and all his might. Inmediatly after his strike he glanced up to see what the others were doing and looked straight into the beady yellow eyes of the following two attacking heartless. In a reflex Sir Lucas brought up his shield to block their attempt.
It became clear to Sir Lucas that these heartless normaly would eradicate their victim swiftly, and therefor lack much defensive abilities. Meaning they would become more and more in a disadvantage as the fight prolonges on. Encouraged with this insight he made himself ready for the following attack. As the Wolf Knight was only getting warmed up.

(This is quite a good read. o3o I can see it visually in my head)
The Queen shivered feeling the realm of darkness not so far away. The black mist streamed infront of her like smoke before thinning away. She had managed to scare off two after taking down some of their pack members. Inhaling deeply, she looked around for the other two just in case they were going to use the advantage of being in a seperate realm against her. Large ears twitched hearing the realm open again, but it was farther from her.
Another formed flying behind it before arching away in a parabola to curve around the knight. She remembered seeing the two after her goes for his knees. One was probably dead, which left another to tend to. Minnie could never trust to leave the Heartless in his blind spot, because its devious mind would think of a way to stop his act of defense.
Turning her head, she saw them dash towards the Wolf Knight who already had his hand full with the pack he had priorly. They gnawed at his armory, clinged to his sword, and pushed weight behind his knees to force him down. Seeing the a pair preparing to force another blow towards his heart. Lucas was already occupied riding of Propeller from behind.
"Look out!" She cried out in warning, and prepared her hands just in case he looked up a second to late. Seeing his shield up, Minnie felt more confident in hitting the correct target. A triangle was formed; light funneled in a ball between the space before flying with a white tail behind it towards the Heartless being held back by the shield. The light reflected off the shield as it draws closer for an impact.

The snag propellers had lost their quick overwhelm and assassinate advantage, this battle was taking far too long and they was beginning to lose their edge, they didn’t know what to do, they never had to fight for so long before.
The heartless that was wrapped around the glove began to spin, it span around the blade until finally it collided with the sharp edge and was ripped in two, the black ooze of smoke that filled the area around the sword as the heartless was sent back to whence it came.
Meanwhile the two that attempted the charge one of them had been stabbed and turned into the same black mist whilst the other had completely missed its target due to Sir Lucas’s dodge. It was fatally obvious they were outmatched and outclassed.
In a last desperate attempt all of the heartless gathered into a line and charged at Minnie, she didn’t have any armour and if just one of them could get their tentacles onto her chest and rip that heart from her then today wouldn’t of been a total loss.
As Sir Lucas was starting to get the upperhand, he was also growing more hopefull for the outcome of the battle. The threat was slowly diminishing and it seemed the hovering squidlike Heartless were out of tricks. Still the knight kept his guard up and wouldn't become overzealous. Restraining himself to not lose his focus or underestimate the heart seaking monsters.
Seeing as suddenly the remaining Snag Propellers rose up and regroup away from him, the Wolf Knight remained cautious. But then gasped in shock as he saw the line that formed racing straight for Queen Minnie. "YOUR HIGHNESS!" He yelled out to warn her. As the drones were already shooting out towards her.
Sir Lucas cursed and gritted his teeth. He couldn't intercept or catch up with the Heartless, for that he was simply to slow. His heart skipped a beat as his body tensed up. Realising there was only one thing he could do. Inmediatly he letted go of the handle of his shield. And the kite shield portraying his family sign fell to the ground. Bending through his knees he started to wind his body up like a spring. Curving slightly to his right backside. With his now free left hand, he grasped the handle of his longsword. Two hands now firmly grasping it under the hilt for extra power. Inside his mind, a short prayer flashed through his thoughts. "Lunar Goddess, hear my call, speed my sword towards my enemy!"
Then in the moment he was ready, releasing all of his strenght. Sir Lucas hurled his long sword after the Snag Propellers. Throwing it as hard as he could with both his hands. The long sword inmediatly left and started spinning around it's own axis. Flying after the Heartless in the Wolf's Knight attempt to catch up with them. "TAKE COVER!" Sir Lucas yelled. While not waiting for the result he kneeled to pick up his shield again and ran after the Heartless and his long sword.

Large eyes watched the heartless. They were coming for her, and Minnie was prepared to attack them with a heavy light rippling impact. It worked when she was with Sora traveling to the Hall of the Cornerstone, and it had grown stronger from them. Relaxing herself, Minnie prepared to summon the light before hearing a loud shout.
TAKE COVER!
Hearing those words kicked in instincts, she dropped down low with her hands firmly pressed to the floor, her body low with spread legs in a push up. She flattened her large ears, but was still able to hear something rippling through the air sharply.

((this is the end )) The sword was unexpected by the snag propellers, and there true weakness had just been found, it was very difficult to maintain balance during there speeding flight. The blade came, and they saw it coming, but there was naught they could do, as the blade sliced through non existent body’s and destroyed the snag propellers black mist rose around the area.
However, one survived, shielded by the others, on snag propeller had made it, and as it was passing over the queen attempted to wrap its tentacles around her and due to her being on the floor, tried to sink its teeth directly into her back, going right for the heart.
It was make or break time. And this snag propeller was risking everything.
Sir Lucas saw to his mild triumph how his blade sliced through nearly all of the Snag Propellers. Already running towards them to reach the Queen. His blade shot passed the last one that managed to evade. And the longsword fell down on the ground where it still scaved a couple of meters over the floor before finaly coming to a halt.
The charging Wolf Knight noticed that one was still remaining. Hovering omniously with it's tentacles over the Queen that had ducked down. He gritted his teeth and appealed to his strenght. Speeding up to his limit. Addressing every ounce of strenght he could muster. The platemail was heavily rustling by the running and filled the room with a calamatous noise.
With a final battlecry Sir Lucas lunged straight towards the last of the Heartless. Leaping throug the air like a pouncing wolf. With no sword in his hand, the knight decided to use his trusted shield as a weapon and bashed it forward. Slamming it hard against the Snag Propeller with his full weight. As the momentum carried him over the prone Queen Minnie and landed with a final roll before coming to rest again.
Inmediatly the fully plated knight jumped back up on his feet again. And turned to face the Snag Propeller. Holding his shield ready to continue the battle.

( here here)
Whipping smudge of sweat off her brow, Minnie shook her head and commenced to spider up back on her feet, but paused feeling a chill down her spine. Black ears twitched; her eyes looked to see Sir Lucas running hard in her direction. Putting one and two together, she looked back quickly to see the tentacles, lips, and fangs of the snag propeller. With a gasp, she rolled out of the way from both the tentacle and Sir Lucas' path of travel.
Once on her stomach, she hopped back on her feet not caring of the dust on her clothes. Quickly she looked for Sir Lucas and the heartless. With his sword away from him, he relied on his shield, and with a stance, her hand illuminated a bright white. It had wiggled down to two on one. Would the heartless risk it all when the percentages had slimmed down or would it flee for another time, another chance, another oppurtunity.
