In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

The snag propeller missed his last chance, his tentacles brushed the queen as she twirled out of its way and then the knight dived into it, slamming the snag propeller to the floor. The snag propeller attempted to regain its balance and flipped back up into a hovering position.
There was no chance it could win now, it could call for backup but it would take too long. There was one final option left now. With a strange squelching sound the snag propeller gritted its teeth and began spewing a black oil like substance over the entire arena, the oil itself was harmless, couldn’t hurt a fly, it would however be very difficult to dodge. This had two purposes, one it was a great distraction, as the black rain fell onto the arena and onto the two hearts. Second it was a mark, a mark that the snag propellers could trace in future.
The snag propeller was no run of the mill heartless, unbeknownst to the two hearts, it was one of the Dark Xll’s personal heartless, and it knew what would happen if this guy killed it with a sword, it didn’t die, it couldn’t just die, it was in its own eyes immortal, all that would happen is that it would regenerate. To itself, this heart with a sword could never /truly/ win. And now with the oil track in place, it could come back in greater numbers. The hunt would never end.
With a suicidal plot in mind it just flew towards the now likely oil covered queen with its fangs ready.
Sir Lucas was ready for anything, but not the sudden spewing of oil that came from the Snag Propeller's mouth. Completely caught by surprise he could do nothing else but raise his shield in a trained reflex. The oil covered his family sigil and shield as it gushed up over the top edge of the shield. And then cascaded down onto the knight's platemail. Leaving behind a black coating.
Baffled the Wolf Knight took a few steps back. And nearly slipped with his silver greaves over the oily floor. Luckely he could regain his balance quickly and took a firm stance. Sir Lucas could feel how the oil was staring to penetrate his armor. Creeping through the seams, hinges and joints inside. Giving an odd sensation through his body. Aswel as a great disturbance as he feared that this oil could pose a harmfull effect on him.
But then the knight saw how the remaining Heartless once again dashed towards the Queen. In a futile attempt he tried to intercept the Snag Propeller. But due the difficult terrain created by the oil. The knight forced himself to much as he tried to pull a sprint. The slippery floor bested him as he lost his balance and clumsy fell down forover. The loud clang of his full body covered in silver and metal slamming on the ground echoëd through the room. He lost his grip on his shield that slided away from him.
Sir Lucas was getting frustrated, but also started to panic. He had never encountered Heartless like these before. Wich such strange abilities and powers. And he also never learned how to fight while beeing covered in oil. Struggling he tried to get up but only to slip away and fall down again. Immobilised in his spot. With a frightening realistion the Wolf Knight thought about how useless and helpless he was now.
"Your Highness!" He called out in despair. As he couldn't be there in time to shield her. Nor do anything anymore to aid her in the battle. And that was more painfull to him then any wound could cause.

Minnie cringed in disgust at the noise, and her nose wrinkled at the stench. Premeditating an animalistic primal defense, she uttered a single world that lifted a rectangular shield in front of her to baracade the oil it spat, protect. Once dropping it down, her brows wrinkled seeing the heartless come at her again. This time she will make sure this next move stings.
"Your Highness!" He called out in despair.
"Faith!" An abudance of light began radiating from her like the sun intuned with her pulsing heart beat. It brightened the entire room cleansing it of the remaining dark aura the heartless pack had brought as well as impacting the heartless itself.

((Ok thats your heartless gone, hope you enjoyed the fight and that I did well. Sir Lucas sustained the ooze as he stated it leaking through him, this just means that hes marked for attack from Snag Propellers. AKA I might decide to drop in on you . If you need any more heartless just give a call.))
The downed knight looked at how Queen Minnie disposed of the last Heartless herself. Realising that the threat is over and they were safe. A big sigh escaped him as he relaxed his tense body. Dropping his shield now and resting on his knees, the knight brought his hands to the side of his neck. And unhinged the wolf shaped helmet. Removing it from his head.
As he did so, oil that had piled up inside his helmet gushed out. Aswel as coughing and puking the thick substance out of his mouth. Greasy strains were all over his chin and jawline. As thick streams were still dripping from his body and platemail. Covered in the sticky substance like the rest of the floor. Resting on his knees and breathing heavily he looked at Queen Minnie and asked him with a grim voice: "Your Highness, are thou injured?"
His eyes held a deeplying sadness. As a feeling of shame was coming over the tall man. In his mind a whirlwind of emotions was raging. If Queen Minnie was not so powerfull that she could defend herself, then she would have been injured or even lost to the Heartless. Meaning that Sir Lucas had failed her. Failed his duty to protect her. Failed his ode and role as a knight.
Seeing that she was in much better condition then he was. Sir Lucas carefully managed to get up on his feet. Now that he finaly has the time to pay attention on his balance. Manouvering in the oil-ridden room was not that much of a challenge anymore. Swinging his shield on his back and carrying his helmet in his hand. The Wolf Knight stepped to retrieve his longsword. He had to be ready for if more enemies would appear. Lifting his blade up, he placed it back into his scabbard.
Dissapointed in himself, the tall blackhaired man returned to Queen Minnie's side. His eyes were avoiding direct eye contact with her. Humbly he kneeled down before her again. Lowering his head as his sad eyes stared straight down onto the floor. With his cold and slightly hoarse voice he then asked: "Your Highness, now that the Heartless have been vanquished. What is it that thy wish to do now?"

(thankies hermellows)
Wiggling out of her stiffness as the light died down, Minnie beckoned the little orb of light that was their guide to glow a bit brighter. The Chamber of the Cornerstone was messy with black sappy oil rippling a dark stench from it, and in the shadows was a disturbed jammed door filled with dinges and cracks. The handles to it were broken as the door lacked its clean shimmer. Seeing this, she shook her head at the castle's condition, but she shook it off when someone else met the top of her priority list.
Hearing his shield drop, Minnie hurried herself to him; her brows wrinkled with concern as helmet vomitted more oil produced by the heartless. With a cough and a hag, the Queen produced another light orb to inform the servants to prepare a bath and a doctor for possible medical care. Sure a Cure can help injuries and wonds, but not often have one came across choking on oil. Who knows what their side effects or his reaction to it.
"I should be asking you that," she kneeled down to wipe away the oil stains on his face with a handy dandy hankerchief. It seems that the Heartless were here with the dark aura within the castle, and more were still roaming freely such as the Snag Propellers, those new emblem heartless. Was someone somewhere still producing artificial heartless?
The Queen looked up at the knigt confused. He refused to look at her when he knealed still show formalities even with his current condition. Grabbing his hand, she gave a tug to tell him to rise. She shook her head chuckling at his foolishness. "We're going to tend to you of-course. With your service and the mess here, I think we had enough venturing for today. Also as a guest, I'm sorry for this happening."
A Royal Guard walked down the ramp meeting the Queen and Sir Lucas giving a bow. Behind him were brooms carrying buckets of water ready to fulfill their cleaning duty. "How about you get yourself cleaned, while this Chamber gets tidy. When you're done, you can meet me in the Library. Alright?"
"As thee wish, your Highness." Was all that Sir Lucas replied to her. In a silent and bittered voice. Righting himself he accompangied the royal guard towards the bathroom. Leaving the hall of the cornerstone with hanging head. Causing greasy footstains with the oil leaking out of his greaves. One of the brooms followed him, mopping away his dirty tracks.
Quietly Sir Lucas arrived at the bathroom that was already filled up with hot water and soap. The Wolf Knight started to disassemble his platemail armor. The damaged shoulderpieces were difficult to remove now. The task of removing the armor was time consuming. But after a while, Sir Lucas was finaly free from the heavy burden. The thick leather gambeson he worn underneath to bare the metal was also removed. And Sir Lucas felt himself now as light as a feather now that he wasn't carrying the extensive weight of the armor anymore. The oily pieces were all laid on a serving tray. As the royal guard explained that they to will be cleaned and repaired. Sir Lucas could only utter a soft mumbling of gratitude before turning towars the bath. His platemail armor was his most prized possesion, and proof of his heritage.
After he was left alone, the tall and strong man undress completely. And letted his pale sore body slide into the hot water. The water was hot, far to hot to his liking. He came from the land of Nordenfrosd. A land were snow would lie for half the year. Cold baths was what he was used to. For a greater luxury did not exist on his homeworld.
Sir Lucas cleaned himself thourally. But even by wassing himself over and over again. Till his skin was wrinkled intensly from the water. He still couldn't get the dirty feeling of the oil away from him. Somehow it felt like it was still there. The taste was still in his mouth. The smell still in his nose. The feeling still on his skin. No matter how hard he scrubbed, the feeling persisted. Like a poison inside his body.
It wasn't untill Sir Lucas realised that a long time had passed, that he came out of the bath. Drying himself off, a maid servant arrived to bring him back his clothes. Also cleaned and dried. His armor was still beeing repaired by the blacksmith of the royal guards. Silently the Wolf Knight was hoping that this blacksmith was capable of handling such an exquisite armor as his.
But finaly settling on trusting the capabilities of the strange creatures of this world, he dressed into his royal leather outfit that he normaly wore underneath his armor. The black outfit with silver linings had many decorations and ornaments. All in symbol of the wolf and the moon. And even smaller hints of trees and nature and stars could be seen. Combing his hair and making himself presentable. Sir Lucas proceeded to the library where he hoped that Queen Minnie wasn't waiting for to long now. Beeing led by another servant, the door was opened for him. And his presence announced to Queen Minnie. Before the servant left the Library and closed the door behind him.
Without his armor, Sir Lucas was now looking very different... very human. He remained standing and only gave a silent bow towards the Queen. Not speaking untill spoken to.

Watching the knight leave, Minny walked out of the Hall of the Cornerstone leaving the Audience Chamber. She wished Jimini was around to keep tabs on everything, but it seems she will have to do it herself for the time being. Regardless it was an important matter to keep up with the events of her world. Since she wasn't filthy, Minnie walked directly into the Royal Library to jot down everything how she remembered.
Her white glove gripped a pen tightly as she scribbled in a parchment paged booklet. Darkness still lingered in the world and the proof was by the heartless that infested and dirtied the Castle's basement. She wondered why the door to Timeless River was still there when she returned to the Castle, but the damage on it concerned her more. So many had been in and out of her castle, so much for invites or courtesy. Then again, this universe was unbalanced by strong wills and devastating intentions which created those such as the Dark XII and the Organization XIII as well as fellow heartless and nobodies.
As she wrote, her mind wandered. What was Maleficent doing? She was still alive, or that's what Mickey had hinted towards.
There are just too much going on...
She sat in silence as she pondered; she thought for the best of the worlds, her world, her kingdom, her friends, her king, and so on. What should a Queen next move be across a chess board of life, since a wrong move can lead to the end of life as she knew it. She needed help no doubt. Sora had already had the world on his shoulders twice, while a year of his life was being toyed with. Riku as well had his rough road to walk, and even Kairi had a rocky start as a young child. Did she really wanted to disturb the peace they had from the madness? Regardless darkness was lurking at every corner, so she should alert them so, but for the time being, she will take the help that easily accessed, reached, and respectable.
Her ears twitched hearing footsteps not surprised at the announcement of Sir Lucas. Nodding, she invited him to take a seat across from her, "I hope that help a bit. We don't tend to get such messy heartless. Actually I can say I never saw them before until now. Unfortunately, the heartless isn't what I wanted to show you earlier, but I guess fate is reminding us that danger lurks everywhere."
Sir Lucas stepped closer and took the offered seat. Sitting down carefully he remained silent as Queen Minnie did her explanation. He listened sharply at her words. But his thoughts dwelled to the strange feeling that kept hauting him. The Wolf Knight quickly glanced at his hands to reassure himself that they were still clean. For the feeling of filth was lingering on his skin. Eversince the oil that he came in contact with. It was like it was still there, but isn't. It was distracting him from the matter at hand.
Still Sir Lucas brought his mind to focus as he looked with his serious woodbrown eyes at the Queen again. Speaking to her: "Then what is it that thou wishes to reveal to me, your Highness? The Heartless have been vanquished, and the hall of the cornerstone should be save to enter now."
Patiently the knight awaited her response but couldn't help to still check his hands again to truelly confirm that the oil he felt dripping from his fingers wasn't there in reality.

"There was in fact a door in that room, a door left there to another realm, domain. Perhaps it was by accident, but entering there can be the most mind raking thing to happen to this world. Actually it had been summoned and invaded before, before this world and castle was stripped of its protection."
Minnie inhaled deeply to announce, "I fear that someone had entered there again, and it's quite obvious that whomever doesn't want us to enter...the door have a heavy jam in it. This world is tightly connected to the realm inside, and with the heartless presence, I don't think its wise to go in such small numbers...again."
"I would really admire having more assistance, willingly guardians to go venture within the door into the new domain to see if anything had occured. I would go there myself, but I wish not to get stuck inside and leave my castle unattended to. Atleast with me remaining here, there will be more sense of safety."
"Also I would also like to communicate with others in distant worlds, but I'm not secure enough to leave Disney Castle behind yet. It's still recovering from the last heavy blows. Would you like to be my represenative for foreign affairs for the time being?"
For the first time since he had arrived at this world. The face of Sir Lucas was showing the expression of beeing perplexed. He blinked baffled at Queen Minnie as his mouth even fell open for a moment, but only a little bit. It took a few seconds before Sir Lucas could fully grasp the meaning of the words that she had just spoke. Realising what it was that she was asking from him. A flustering feeling ran through his chest as the Wolf Knight composed himself.
Casting his eyes down he spoke with his deep but soft voice: "Your Highness, I'm humbled by your trust. It would be a great honour to accept this duty and become your representative of foreign affairs." Sir Lucas pauzed. As he letted the words and all that Queen Minnie had said sink in some more. Righting his head upward again, he looked now with slightly narrowed eyes and a grim look. Taking in a breath he said: "But as I understand, my first task would be to find capable men and woman to form a party and undertake the quest of travelling through the door. To discover what it is that the foul intruders are doing there."

The Queen nodded with a smile and a great sense of satisfaction despite Lucas pause to reply and recover from perhaps initial shock; it will seem that everything was slowly come together at last, "I'm glad we see eye to eye on things. It seems that the light is shinning brighter more everyday."
Before she can daze of in a wonderland of where everything is going to be 'alright'. Her eyes opened widely remembering, "Oh, if you need any assistant with travel, you can always talk with Chip and Dale, the Castle's engineers. Despite how small they are, they have quite the hands for gummi ships and other aircrafts."
"Now that this castle is up and running, the garage should be up and running with scans of fellow worlds' activities."
Sir Lucas casted his eyes down again, keeping his serious expression. If there was any form of relieve or even happyniss from his part, he wasn't showing any of it. Eventhough his words sounded sincere, his face was grim as he pondered about the task ahead of it. But this was his normal expression, how he always acted. Cold, serious and mature. Hardend by years of working and training. His own homeworld was a dark, sad place compared to this joyous world of color and youthfull innocence.
Still there was no doubt in the knight's mind over his task. He had to do this. It would be the first step in achieving something. Something good, something greater. With no clue in how to find the keyblade to save his own world. At least he could help in safeguarding this one. It was indeed a honor to be given such an important task and responsibility by the Queen.
He looked again with a subtle tenderness in his eyes at Queen Minnie and spoke on a normal tone: " I shall meet with these..." The Wolf Knight was about to say people, due to habit, but corrected himself before that. Remembering that all residents on this world were animals and not humans. "... engineers. And decide on where to travel to next. I will depart as soon as my armor is repaired."
The entire revelation of the situation had even caused him to completely forget the strange feeling of the oil that the Heartless spewed out over him. The feeling that still persisted long after it had been washed off. Now it was repressed into the back of his mind and no longer bothering Sir Lucas. But for how long would it last?
Concluding the conversation, he finally asked:" Is there still something else tee wishes to tell me your Highness? Or can I take my leave?"
Post by Ellie who has 0% on Apr 24, 2010 9:34:44 GMT -4
"You may depart; I have a few paperwork to tend to in the meantime. Since you are still fairly new to this castle, I will send for an escort," a bundle of light in a small orb floated from her palm and zoomed out of the room through the door. "Whomever will arrive to your aid when you're all prepared."
( And that's how we merge threads togethaaaa. I think we're done here.)
Sir Lucas stood up from the seat and then made a deep bow towards Queen Minnie. Before leaving the library and following the escort towards the gummi garage.
Upon meeting with Chip and Dale, he was again surprised by them beeing chipmunks. Chipmunks of normal size instead of the large, nearly human size, that most other residents where here. The logic was lost to the Wolf Knight, but perhaps he shouldn't try to relate everything into the standards that he was used to and remain open to these things.
Chip and Dale were most helpfull as they scanned the nearby worlds. Confusing the knight with technical terms he couldn't possible understand. But as alarming ratings from Traverse Town were beeing detected, Sir Lucas could notice the nervous tone in their high voices. It seemed something very powerfull was occurring there. And that it could be desastrous to the world and it's inhabitants.
Another servant appeared with Sir Lucas his platemail armor. Repaired and cleaned. Suiting up for battle again, the Wolf Knight prepared himself. As a flight to Traverse Town was arranged. Traverse Town was a good place to start, since it was a harbor for many that were lost.
And so, Sir Lucas, the Wolf Knight, left Disney Castle. In search of a group to undertake the dangerous but important mission that Queen Minnie had given to him. And to commence his battle against the Heartless and the Nobodies and whatever evil there was out there, preying on innocent hearts.
(ooc: yeah, we're done. Thanks for the plot) Find out how things fare with Sir Lucas in our following exciting episode: Onward says the dark cloud. Stay Tuned!
