In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

There aren't enough praises in the world I'd like to give to wonderful coders for the Proboards community. The following have contributed to World Destiny in some way: W3 Schools for countless how-tos and countless of other souls who have helped get WD up to where it is.

Anyway, in the last couple of days, this idea has been spinning around my mind. I have told a few people about it and some say it´s awesome, but others think it would be hard to organize.
Remember the song, "We Are The World" written by Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie? Many singers got together and made the supergroup "USA for Africa" in 1985 to record it as a charity single to benefit African famine relief. Ray Charles, Billie Joel, Diana Ross, Stevie Wonder, Tina Turner and Cyndi Lauper were among the group as well.
Twenty five years later, following the 7.0 Mw earthquake in Haiti, the song was re-recorded by new artists in an attempt to benefit the people from Haiti. Among the members of the new supergroup were Jamie Foxx, Wyclef Jean, Enrique Iglesias, Celine Dion, Fergie, Pink, Usher, Akon and T-Pain.
What if us, the members of World Destiny, recorded a variation of this song? Everyone willing to join the party could send a recording of themselves singing the song. Audacity is a good program to help with this. We have endured many things here, including a near-shutdown, an activity decrease and a heavy staff member resignation parade. I think this would be a good idea, as it would show the bond between us, not just as a site but as a community.
roflmao. actually, if I can get the help from him, my stepdad has a whole music studio set up at his house. XD lol. He's got all kinds of music editing equipment and such. I MIGHT be able to get his help with editing the song and everything. .-. Idunno though. that one's kind of up in the air, since I"m having....difficulties even leaving base at the moment.
