In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Rose opened the door, and peeked inside. The place was practically empty, so she stepped in, looking around nervously. She wiggled her shoulders and her weapons tilted ever so slightly, bringing them within easier reach. She sat down at the bar, and glanced around. Below her, Halen hid in her shadow. He focused, and began checking the hearts of those in the bar. Rose looked around, then called out, "Hello? Can I get some service?"
(I'm absolutely no good at openings.)

Just down the bar from the young lady sat a man. Not just any man... but a M-A-N, man. His tawny beard was grown in somewhere between a five o'clock shadow and a full "Chuck Norris". His shirt was clearly formerly a white tee-shirt, though now it was more of a dust-colored wife beater, tattered and torn as though very worn or it had survived many a battle. His pants were one-size-too-big camoflaged cargo pants, tied at his waist with a rope rather than a belt. His feet were shod in black combat boots, freshly and gloriously polished to the point where he could look down and clearly see his own dazzling smile reflected back at him. In fact, he was checking that reflection at that moment.
"Well, hello there, handsome." He exclaimed to his boot. "You devilish sly dog you. I bet you get all the ladies and..."
His self admiration was interrupted as a figure approached the bar, its weapons shifting as it sat. Kurt tore his eyes away from his own ruggedness to gaze at the newcomer. A woman. No. Scratch that. A girl. She requested service.
He placed a hand over the top of his own tankard of beer.
"Ain'tcha a little young for a place like this?" He suddenly and dramatically looked in her direction. He smiled. His teeth glinted in the bar's lighting. "What's a nice girl like you doing in a place like.... wait.... you're not 18 are you?"
How tiring was it to search for someone who may not have been ailve? Well, not very according to Faith Guado, one who believed that the particular person she was looking for was in fact alive. So, I ask you, how tiring was it truthfully?
Dressed in her attire, practically made for a place like this, a rather Gothic yet, in her opinion, elegant looking attire, especially with the long flowing cloak, the hood remaining up at all times, keeping her veined forehead and jaw hidden within shadow.
Figuring that no one in the streets would help the strange young woman, Faith Guado decided to enter, what she thought she'd never, a bar. Ugh, mostly filled with drunks...hardly a place for any Guado.
As the saying goes - "If you want something done, you have to do it yourself", Faith Guado had been feeling like this for quite a while, but she couldn't keep up with it. She had to ask openly.
With a soft groan, she pushed open the door to The Frosted Flame with her long nailed hand, Sapphyre and Forget were securely strapped around her waist, but hidden in her cloak. If any trouble risen, she'd be ready for it.
Faith Guado had no intentions of drinking in such a place with such beverages, highly forbidden for someone like herself. She glanced around the area, hearing music play in the background, a genre that she had never heard before, one she just could not describe. Before she could even begin to guess, Faith Guado noticed a young girl at the bar, with, dare she think it, a rather arrogant man inspecting her.
Motherly-like instinct instantly kicked in at that moment. She didn't know the girl. She didn't know the man. But, Faith Guado could sense the personalities of both, a fight would most likely break out. Tranquil Faith Guado did not want that to happen. And so, she made herself seen as she walked over to the bar, standing beside the girl so that she was hidden from the man by Faith Guado's body.
She was silent.

It was pretty clear- this guy was "d-r-j-u-n-c-q-k" drunk... or "drjuncqk" if you'd prefer. McKlintock's attention was diverted from the young girl, when an older (and much more legal) woman entered the bar, placing herself between Kurt and the girl. Out of sight, out of mind. And with another beauty filling in for the one he could no-longer see, Kurt continued with what he believed to be his game.
"Well hello, gorgeous Japanese Pop-Star Emo-Chick." Kurt said, all-too-much like William Shatner might have but with all the ignorance of a DVDA member. "I dig a woman with blue hair. I'm Kurt McKlintock. You can call me... Kurt McKlintock... or 'Sweet Lollipopping Daddy' if you catch my drift." He raised his eyebrows twice as if his nickname for himself had been some clever or witty pickup line; which it wasn't.
"But enough about me. Let's talk about you... and your pretty face... and I'll bet you have sexy legs too!" He stroked his beard, as though it would cast some kind of manly spell over the young woman and fill her with a desire to take her clothing off. It became rather apparent, rather quickly, that no such thing was going to happen.

(McKintlock? Dude, why am I reminded of MacGrugger?) Rose gave the much-too full off himself man a once over, and dismissed him. He wasn't a threat to her. "For your information, there is no legal drinking age in the Wasteland," she said. She had seen his type before. They thrived in the Wasteland, especially amongst the Raiders. Manly men, none of whom could hold a candle to her.
She was turning back to the bar when a woman situated herself between Rose and the wierdo, and she felt Halen shiver. He too had ignored the man, but the woman was another matter. A heart of almost pure light, and great strength. Her heart was cold, and Halen could sense icy magic, and what Halen felt, Rose felt as well. A sudden chill made her shiver, and she turned her head slightly, and studied the woman out of the corner of her eye.
Not much to see, a cloak covering both her face and body, but there was also the blue hair. That got Rose' attention, though she hid it. She decided that she might want Halen's help, and he wasn't going to do her any good hiding in her shadow. She snapped her fingers, and patted the seat on the opposite side from the woman.
Halen flowed out of Rose' shadow, and sat in the seat as unobtrusivly as possible. The woman was making him nervous, and a nervous Neoshadow was a weapon on a hair trigger. The white lines fluxxed quickly, then crossed his body, and settled on his left arm as he began sifting though his spells, ready for the fight he just knew was coming, and Rose, feeling Halen's unease, shrugged slightly, shifting her weapons further, bringing her Combat Shotgun within easy reach of her right hand.

The Frosted Flame isn't somewhere Arthas often came, but he felt in nessicary to be here. It just seemed.......right somehow. He sat, sipping at his drink, watching all the other people. It was then when he realized a strange scent coming from around the main bar. He got up and got closer to the bar, the smell getting stronger. Yup, it was from there, alright, but who was it from. Arthas would have to get closer for that, but he didn't want to give himself away.
It was then he saw the girl pat the chair and have the Neoshadow come out of her shadow. But it was strange, white lines crisscrossing it. He also saw the hooded figure standing between the two about to fight. All he could see of her was her blue hair, and that caught his attention.
His sword appearing in his hand, he held it behind him, hidden from view yet easy to fight with, and said, "Is everything alright?"
"Jesus! Zombie! Christ!" McKlintock shouted, temporarily distracted from the clearly anime-influenced lovely lady beside him. He leaped, standing on top of his stool as he struck a movie-poster pose, involving a dramatic point in Halen's direction "It's one of those f*cking world-eating terrorist!"
That was when yet another stranger (of the less interesting gender... and a less impressive specimen of manhood) entered the bar.
Then, the male stranger pulled a sword into existence, seemingly out of thin air.
He spun on the stool, changing the target of his epic-point to Arthas. "... AND a f*cking ninja! A terrorist and a Ninja and two hot babes that may or may not yet be legal in need of manly protection! That can only mean one thing!"
He hopped up on the bar stool and grabbed his stool, flexing his arms above his head as he held it high above the Neoshadow.
"KURT MCBAR-FIGHT!!!"
He swung the stool downwards with all of his, as though to hit the Heartless.
Faith Guado wrinkled her nose in disgust at the man's words, all was hidden within the darkness of her cloak, she was reluctant but she'd have to show herself sooner or later.
Silently she pulled down her hood with her long nailed hand, exposing a silvery blue veined forehead and jaw, snippets of her uneven fringe slightly fell in her eyes, her gaze focussed on the arrogant man.
"Is that how you address all women?" she asked in a deep and soft voice out of sheer boredom but things soon got interesting. She saw him freak out and raise a stool, Faith Guado was unaware of what was occuring with the girl so in swift Guado movement, Faith Guado whipped out Forget & Sapphyre, her cloak blowing back dramatically before she pointed them at him.
Faith Guado shot at the stool with Forget, Forget was no childs water pistol. the water fired was like a firehose, freezing and powerful and enough to send the stool back. "Get over yourself."

Halen backflipped off his stool, and landed on an unoccupied table, just as Kurt's stool was shot out of his hands. The sudden torrent of water confused Halen, and he quickly readied a spell. He snapped his fingers, once, twice, three times. On the third snap, a strange black fire flared around his claws. He took careful aim. So did Rose, who had her shotgun out, loaded, cocked, and pointed at Kurt. She shook her head at Halen, who held his "fire" (double meaning pun!), but did not extinguish it. Rose glanced at the new guy, and said, "Yeah, I think everything is under control." She then addressed Kurt: "Hey, asshole, what the hell are you thinking? You don't attack unless attacked, got it? Rule 1 of the Wasteland." Finally, she glanced at Faith and said, "Thank you."

Just watching the situation made Arthas tense up, feeling the fight that would start. But when the girl shot the stool and the other woman told him it was under control, he released Marumasa. He grabbed the man by his collar and said, "Okay, it's time to sober up. Anyone wanna hold him down?" He pulled out his card and started the incantation for a Cure spell, intending to clear the mans mind.
((OK. No more clutter. Move all OOC discussion to THIS THREAD from this point on))
Please heed.))
Kurt swung with all of his might. But suddenly, the stool was gone. Simply gone. Knocked right out of his hands. It was like a sudden, wet, and cold force had just blasted it out of his grip and sent it flying to the other side of the room... which was apparently what happened.
Kurt looked up to see the blue-haired girl, now armed with pistols.
"Good God! I should have known! She's an agent allied with the terrorists!" He exclaimed to no one in particular.
It was then that the first girl he had encountered produced a shotgun while the "terrorist" back-flipped away, its hands light on fire.
"Hey, asshole, what the hell are you thinking? You don't attack unless attacked, got it? Rule 1 of the Wasteland."
"Hey! I'm offended by such offensive talk! Kurt McKlintock is a man of ACTION! Thinking is for dweebs, you shotgun-toting terrorist sympathizer! And what's the 'Wasteland', and why does it have such non-manly and non-sensical rules? Haven't you ever heard of a..."
He dropped to his knees on the bar, reaching behind it. That was when the "ninja" took hold of his collar. That was when Kurt revealed what he was reaching for.
"Kurt McPreemptive-Strike!"
From seemingly nowhere behind the bar, Kurt pulled out a set of nun-chucks, which he then swung downwards on Arthas' wrists to break his hold on him. The Action Hero then rolled away, shouting "Kurt McCombat-Roll" as he did so, springing into the air and landing a good distance away.
He struck a pose, holding the nun-chucks out in front of him. "One touchy-feely ninja who touches men... One world-eating terrorist who happens to be on fire. One blue-haired pistol toting terrorist sympathizer. And one shotgun holding terrorist's accomplice."
He made an actiony, manly, rage face. "Let's rumble! I'll show you how we do it... in AMERICA!!! F*CK YEAH!!!"

What the...? Faith Guado couldn't believe her eyes this man was completely, whats the right word? Insane? Stupid? Both? Whatever he was it ticked her off and also surprised her to see a human act so idiotically, she suspected that wherever this man came from all of his people were the same.
Geh, why me? She managed to bear watching & listening to his rant about her being a...a what? An agent? She had no idea what that was. Seeing this man was like watching a terrible choreographed play, so cheesy and...amateurish.
What a day this was turning out to be. Faith Guado went on-guard as the man took out a strange looking weapon and hit a young man with them, this was the first time she noticed him. That was pretty much the last straw for her. "You really are looking for trouble," she muttered under her breath, she knew this mans reckless attitude would most likely get him killed one day.
He was a strange one. The man who had so disturbingly "complimented" Faith Guado earlier looked ready to take on all three...or four it seemed. "It would be preferable if you actually got over yourself," she thought in her head as she shook her head. Raising her hand, she cast an Ice spell, Frozen dust, which soon froze the mans feet to the ground.
Hopefully this would give others an advantage

"Let's rumble! I'll show you how we do it... in AMERICA!!!" Rose shook her head. If that's how he wanted it to be, so be it. She nodded at Halen, who's claws flared, and he fired a test shot at the annoying little heart. Rose holstered her shotgun, and pulled out the PVC Pipe Hammer. She spun it in her hand three times, then stopped, holding with both. "Preemeptive strike, huh? Preempt THIS!" she yelled, charging Kurt, and swinging for his head. Halen snapped his fingers, and the fire went out. Snapped again, and a Dark metal sword appeared in his hands. He shifted it to his right claw, and quickly followed Rose...
