Dead Space: How scary is it for you?

It's really scary for me. I can't play it for more than a couple hours. I don't need others in the room, but I can't play it in the dark either.

I played it at summer camp, the whole way through, in one week, in the dark, with people screaming at me to "look to your left."

I had a wonderful time with it. Honestly the Necromorphs, while disturbing, are close enough to your typical zombie that I could ignore it. The scary parts came from the anticipation. I know there is one here, where the hell is it? And then you find it. After it finds you.

Eh .... Sure. It's got its jump moments. I applaud its gameplay and how scary it is. Way better than overrated RE, but the game .... doesn't scare me enough to keep on my toes. Its atmosphere, designs, darkness, and creep factor r good though.

Games that HAVE scared me (never EVER nightmares tho):

Entire Siren series
Fatal Frame series
Cursed Mountain (Wii)

NOTE: I didn't, and never will, place overrated Silent Hill on my list of games that scared me ....
