In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Kyriu Would have probably fainted If he stayed there any longer being pushed by an Index finger so easily was quite scary, that meant that he was feeling weak. Not that it was surprising that slap knocked the wind out of him and staying awake was not something easy. He did as he was instructed and lifted his head which felt like a stone. After doing so he still wasn't sure If miss Limari was satisfied yet...so he still had work to do.
Once he was back to his full height he simply shook his head in response to what she asked him. Stupid samurai now he had to explain what was going on, but his head still hurt and it's only now that he realized that he actually hit the ground. He took one look at her face and suddenly had a thought. '' Eh? Whats with her face?''
'' Ugrh Possibly frustration''
'' You keep quiet!''
He decided that now was the time to speak. As he was about to Kuri held onto his hand made a very cute heart shape. This he liked but it also made him turn bright red, and hopefully with luck the girl in front of him wouldn't notice why...he hoped.
'' N-not at all. Actually I never really got the chance to make an opinion about it, you see um.....you w-weren't exactly talking to m-me..it's a really long story.'' Kyriu said to Limari. However this wasn't enough for Kyriu seeing as how he felt like he made a huge offence.
Judging by her appearance he could tell that she possibly liked adventures, he was able to tell that now thanks to his encounters with V. Now all he had to do was um....wait what was he going to do?
Kyriu forced a smile which probably looked downright silly due to the color of his face. ''Sorry If I offended you miss Limari'' he said unfortunately however his hair started acting up and covered the right side of his face again. Finally realizing that he hadn't moved Kyriu stepped backwards a bit which further increased the redness of his face.
'' Um....sorry'' was all he could get out.
He held on to Kuri's hand a bit tighter just to let her know that he was happy that he was there
However......he really wished that she would put that stick away!
Mari was finding it hard to keep a straight face. the boys wierd shyness was equally hilarious and insanley frustrating. Hadn't he been loud and rude just moments before?
She was suprised to hear him answer what had been a semi-retorical question. "What the heck is wrong with you?" had been more a statement than a legitiment question but confusing samuri boy seemed to put it literally.
"hard to explain huh?" she said in response to his answer. she supposed that meant that he really just didnt want to explain it. ah well she really didnt want to make him more uncomfortable, and she liked the state he was in now better than the agressive mood before so she decided not to ask him more about it.
she rolled her eyes as he apolagized again. "you really dont need to keep apolagizing, its alright, you didnt offend me, im used to more vicious words than that." she swung her staff behind her back to show that she no longer felt like beating him with it.
there was one more thing that puzzled her though, that she thought she would ask about. as soon as she had touched samuri boy after he got back up Lakuri had gotten all defensive, holding his hand and looking at him all lovey-dovey. "
"i thought you said he wasn't your boyfriend?" Mari inquired of the pink girl "have you suddenly changed your mind or do you have violent mood swings as well?"

Lakuri felt a little better when Kyriu held onto her hand a bit tighter, it was nice to now that he obviously knew she was there. She simply listened to the two talk, and waited so not to be rude... although she would have liked to make a few comments.
The one thing that Limari said to her however... man was that a difficult question! Lakuri had no idea what she was alowed to say, or if she was alowed say anything at all! Lakuri looked at Kyriu before she decided to say anything... but she still couldn't really tell if he minded... it might just be better to say the least amount of informationas possible.
"Well Limari... its quite a bit complicated.. and I don't exactly know If I'm alowed to say anything. Let's just say that I don't have any crazy mood sings, and He is my boyfriend." she said and playfully ruffled Kyriu's hair. "I'm sorry I can't say much else." She said and smiled at Limari, and hoed she wouldn't mind.
Kyriu simply blinked several times when he heard what Lakuri said. This stopped however when his hair was messed up, he really didn't like having messy hair. He did his best to make it lie back down but it was already provoked so it kept on covering his eye. Aside from this annoyying experience he decided to regain his ability to speak.
Just as he was about to speak Limari finally put away the stick which was bothering him so much, he was happy that his hair was covering him for once...that way she wouldn't notice the eye color change.......he hoped. Now to figure out what to do since he was back in control, he noticed Lakuri still holding his hand...........well sorta in control.
The student bent down to pick up his weapon the stupid thing! He really had no idea what else to say however, since he was afraid of getting hit with that stick. Despite all this however something seemed off to him. It was probably nothing, but at times he could notice things that most people would never look at, but somehow that stick looked odd. Perhaps it was it's size...no no it was probably Limari, he really was waiting to be hit with that thing.
It took him a few seconds later for him to remember something.
'' I am Kyriu Ogawa nice to meet you miss Limari. '' he said still looking at the stick on her back.
Mari became increasingly confused when she heard Lakuri's answer. Why was whatever was wrong with this kid such a secret? The need to know what was happening was so bad her curiosity had started to feel like a tangible itch.
She was however, determined not to keep pestering them about it until she had put more of the pieces together herself.
"well, alright Lakuri," she said resignedly "I guess I won't press you if you really don't wanna tell me. I gotta say though I'm getting insanely curious about your boyfriends odd behavior." she smiled to show that she wasn't angry when she saw the boy eyeing her staff wierdly. She was about to ask him what was wrong when he introduced himself.
That was what really put her curiosity over the edge. Earlier, when lakuri had yelled at him, she had called him Ryu and now he was introducing himself as Kyriu? Now she had to know what was going on.
"earlier, Kyriu, lakuri called you ryu, do you switch names as well as personalities?" she knew she was being rude by pressing but she couldn't help it. " I really think I'm missing something major here and , I'll be honest, my curiosity is absolutely killing me. I promise I won't tell anyone if it's something bad, and I won't judge you on it, i swear." she was uncomfortable with how whiney she sounded but she had never been good with letting her curiosity go.

Lakuri giggled a bit hearing Limari's responce.. she sure was interesting. "Hey, its not my doing, its just not my information to tell." she said and shrugged and kept holding onto Kyriu's hand.
Lakuri started to feel bad once Limari had pointed out the diffrence in names... she started to wish she haddn't said anything at all.. just kept her mouth shut. Lakuri sort of slid behind Kyriu and layed her head on the back of his neck so that she could sort of hide from both of them. "I'm sorry Kyrii, I didn't mean to be such a blabber mouth" she whispered to him and wrapped her arms around his shoulders to hug him. "I love you." she added. She wasn't going to dare speak up about this anymore, Kyriu would sare if he wanted.. she already felt bad enough for saying things without his permission.
The student simply blinked at both of their reactions. He just started at Limari for a few seconds still wondering what he should do with this new situation. Lakuri hugging him wasn't helping him much either since now his face looked silly again. Now all he had to do was answer quickly otherwise a certain someone might get an Idea.
The time he spent observing how Ryu worked....and most thing either ended with a very long speech or the other person hitting the floor. To avoid that he would have to answer Limari, but what if she hit him with a stick? That would hurt a lot. He shook off the feeling and did something very odd.
He tapped Lakuri on her arm so that he let her know that he would be moving. Once he was free he walked up to Limari still holding his blade. '' It's kind of hard to explain but'' Kyriu stopped and walked right up to the towering figure.
Oddly he took hold of her hand placed the katana in one of them. Once this was done Kyriu looked at her straight in the eye in a non treating fashion.
'' I need to know'' before he finished his left eye turned bright blue while the right stayed normal as if to demonstrate something.
Mari sighed as the pink girl displayed more of her obnoxious tendency to be openly and sickeningly affectionate. Why couldn't she just apologize like a normal person? Did she have to make such a production of it?
The situation suddenly turned much more serious as Kyriu/Ryu walked up to her an placed his sword in her hand. She looked at it, shocked at the gesture of such complete trust.
She was even more surprised to see him meeting her eyes, only a trace of the timidness he had displayed before left in them. When he asked her his question one of his eyes turned blue, making Mari startle a bit but not breaking her eye contact. She continued meeting his eyes while she thought the question over.
Could he trust her? The easiest thing to do would be to automatically say yes just to get him to tell her, but she somehow felt that this time the question needed more serious consideration. She thought about it. if it was a secret someone else wanted would she be tempted to sell it? No, she found herself saying that she wouldnt. And would she really do all she could to protect it if it was something that was that big of a deal? Shockingly, she found herself thinking that she would.
And now she recognized why. Why she had stayed around after the boy had fainted and why he could trust her. Besides her curiosity, in the very short time she had known them, she had come to care about these people.
That was an emotion she had not felt in a long time, and the fact that these two practical strangers could make her feel it was an amazing thing. She genuinely cared what happened to the pink girl and the swordsman, and she wanted what happened to them to be good.
She kept looking the swordsman in the eyes and finally, simply said "You can."

Lakuri was a bit surprised when Kyriu stepped up to Limari. she didn't want to interven in this conversation, so she simply stepped back and alowed for the two of them to talk... although she watched them very very carefully. She didn't want either of them to end up hurting eachother.
Lakuri however was getting tired, since she had been before, when Limari had tried to steal from her, so she decided to sit down agianst the wall, and she still watched for a while... but then she pulled her legs up and leaned he head on her arms, and closed her eyes...simply relieing on her ears to listen to what was going on now.
Kyriu didn't move at first, he still stayed there looking at her still making sure that she was telling the truth. Once he was certain he gently let go of her hand but still let her hold onto the katana. It was an odd feeling but somehow there were times when he was in complete sync with Ryu, probably because for once they were on the same page.
His eyes did return to normal but not completely, they weren't the usual bight brown color, they seemed to have a darker tint. '' You might want to sit down, I'll explain give me a minute, but in the mean time could you please examine at the katana?'' Kyriu said while pointing at a bench that for some reason he hadn't noticed at all.
He walked over to Kuri who seemed to look tired. He started walking towards her but he nearly fell over, somehow his energy was slightly drained. He bent down to talk to her, he had a feeling that she wasn't asleep.
He placed his hand on her shoulder and as soon he did that his eyes seemed to light up again.
'' Hey I'm going to go explain things to miss Limari, I'll be a few minutes. I love you kuri'' Kyriu said then hugged her tightly. Once this was done he returned to Limari to see if she was done.
Mari kept looking into the man's eyes. She was confused by her emotions upon being so completely trusted by this man and, she hoped, by Kuri too. It felt very nice to be genuinley looking someone in the eyes, and to not have to lie to them while she did it. she wasn't used to be so honest with people as she had just been with him when she said "you can."
Not in a very long time, not since Russet, had she felt like someone liked her or cared about her enough to be honest with her. telling secrets was an action normally reserved for....friends. could that be right? might this young man and woman consider Mari to be thier friend? and did she want to be thiers? she thought that she did, though it would be weird having friends again, and even when she had had friends, it had really only ever been Russet. it had been almost three years since anyone had thought of her as anything but a lier and a cheat. If she did become friends with these people it would take her some time to learn how to interact with someone you liked, and who liked you back.
Mari was puzzled when the swordsman told her to examine the sword, but she did as he said and went to sit on the bench.
she looked at the sword, sensing, as she held it, something familiar about it. she had a more acute sense for magic than mot people, and suddenly she knew what it was. the sword felt like her staff, shiny with the glow of magic in her sight and giving away a very low hum when she listened hard enough. Unlike with her staff however, she couldn't make out what sort of magic was in it, only that it was very old magic, judging by the fact that the hum was so low. she didn't think it was anything sinister, but it didnt give her a particularly good vibe either.
she looked up to to see the boy crouched in front of lakuri speaking to her gently. She watched him as he hugged her and then turned back to face Mari. she turned away, embarrassed that he had caught her doing something as childish as staring.

(mmehhh u leave me with nothing 2 do darn u guys <3 )
Lakuri lifted her head when Kyriu placed his hand on her shoulder. She looked into his eyes... which seemed a bit odd, but it was still Kyriu so it was alright. "Ok Kyrii." Lakuri said and yawned. "I'll sit here and rest, I'm really sleepy." Lakuri said and then snuck a kiss off of Kyriu before he got up at walked away.
Lakuri ealy wanted to listen to what the two of them said... and as usual, Lakuri fought for a while. But eventually lost her focus, and ended up dozeing off where she was sitting. causeing her to topple over when her muscles relaxed.
Kyriu was a bit confused about what exactly was going on. Firstly he got slapped in the face was sitting at home, and now he had to expose a very irritating secret to someone that he barely knew.....not that he minded that much anyway. He took a few steps towards the bench but once this time fell flat on the floor. It was only then that he noticed the cut on his forehead hidden by all his hair.
The impact of the fall must have caused it, ah so he was losing blood! That was it! Well good, at least losing blood was normal....but wait that wasn't a good thing! There was no time to worry about it now though, he still had some explaining to do....and he never liked leaving someone to wait. He stood up without much difficulty and walked over to the bench. It wasn't hard for him to sit there either, thankfully.
He didn't say anything at first since his head felt heavy, but after a few seconds he broke the silence. Kyriu took one glance at Limari then decided something.....'' Long story it is''
'' Well what happened is sort of confusing, the blade your holding right now originally belongs to my family, but it was sold i think since i didn't get it for some reason. Oddly enough it contained the spirit of my ancestor who seems to have been sleeping there for quite some time, well...until now that is. '' Kyriu stopped to try and make sense out of what he was talking about....none of it clicked.
'' I'm not sure why but his spirit has found it's way into my body, and therefore he takes control of it at times, I don't why.....and I really have no idea what he's doing here....in fact I don't anything..about him...much less how to get rid of him.'' Kyriu said. to Limari.
Kyriu sighed, then decided to add something else. '' The reason I'm telling you this is because, I believe that I can trust you....I'm not very good at making friends...since i barely have time to do any of that.. but I already think of you as a friend...which is why I'm trusting you with this'' he was unable to continue after that due to the sudden shaking of his right hand.
'' Ok let me see. I'm Injured, a bit nervous, and slightly scared....so my hand is shaking because...'' Kyriu stopped thinking as his other had started shaking.
'' Ah another panic attack..............why now?'' he thought.
Mari looked up from examining the sword to see Kyriu/Ryu sitting beside her. She was about to speak when he broke the silence.
He spoke for a little while and mari listened attentively. What he was saying surprised mari greatly. She had only heard of this kind of magic once before from a very old shaman in Meright. Magic that let you put your soul into an object or another person was very rare, very old, and very difficult to do. She was amazed that she was actually witnessing it, though it did kind of suck for Kyriu/Ryu
When he said that he already considered her his friend her heart leaped. To be accepted by these two would make her extremely happy, as she had been getting tired of being alone for years.
When he finished speaking she noticed that his hand was shaking badly and he was looking very ill. She supposed she should reply to his explanation, but she didn't quite know what to say. It was always a good start to say thank you at least.
"thank you," she said, quieter than her normal volume, " I am very grateful to you for being willing to share your secret with me, and I am very happy to be considered your friend." she continued, wanting to fill the silence " I thought I sensed very strange magic in this sword, it turns out I was right. The magic in it is very old and very strange, but beyond that that's all I know. I did have one question if you would like to answer it. I was wondering: which name belongs to which person? I've heard you called ryu and kyriu but I'm not sure which one is which. I-" she stopped short, suddenly noticing the panicky weird look on the boys face. " are you alright? Do you need medical help? You look sick."

(way to give me NOTHING to reply to you 2 <.<... dun worry I b jklolin i lurvs u <3 )
Lakuri haddn't been asleep for long at all, since she was still somewhat listning, when she heard the very last thing that Limari said.
" are you alright? Do you need medical help? You look sick." Since Lakuri was afterall laying on the ground, sleeping in the middle of town pretty much, Lakuri's tired mind figured that the voice was directed at her... although it seemed disant. Lakuri opened her eyes, and lifted up her head to find no one close. She sort of just watched Kyriu and Limari for a second until she realised what was going on.. the voice she heard.. was Limari,... and Kyriu was acting funny agian.
Lakuri walked over the best she possibly could, since she was still wakeing up, and simply looked at Kyriu for a moment. "Kyriii?" she asked curiously, looking at his face, Limari was right... he looked sick. She kneeled down inront o him and lighly held onto his hands. She then looked up at his face agian, and noticed somthing a little odd. there was a bit of red visible.. what was that? Lakuri lightly pushed his bangs aside, Knowing that Kyriu wouldn't mind much; and saw that he had a cut on his forehead. "Kyrii you have an owwie on your head, why didn't you tell me?" she said cutely, and immideatly placed her hand over it so she could heal it. When the cut was gone and heal, she smiled at him. "All better Kyrii!" She said and hen quickly snuck a kiss off of him, almost forgetting Limari was watching her do all of his o make sure that he was ok.
