In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Things were looking...good, well in a way. Ryu listened patiently to everything Limari said without interupting. What she said didn't really match up with his question since thats not what he meant, but answering back was getting difficult with the repeated kicks that he was getting.
None of Lakuri's attacks hurt since he was now resistant to pain, but that didn't mean that Kyriu wouldn't have a serious back ache. Not to mention a bleeding wrist, but for some reason the student didn't make a single comment....in fact he was more quiet than usual.
While he did want to get rid of the annoying attacker...he still had to answer Limari, and hopefully what he said would catch Lakuri's attention as well, long enough to stop kicking. Or of course it could just anger her...and she could kick harder.
'' You misunderstand me, but no matter I understand.....unfortunately.....I cannot give Kyriu control'' Ryu said then kept quiet to let that sink in for a while.
'' Usually, a great deal of spirit energy must be realeashed if the switch is to remain safe, however with Lakuria's slight interfearance.....something unexpected has happened. Kyriu himself has remained quiet, and I can no longer hear his thoughts....therefore he has either fallen asleep...or...'' he decided not to finish the sentence because he honestly didn't have a second explanation.
( D: sorry it took me so long to post...kuri is forcing me to do it now XD)
Mari glared at Kuri as she started to kick Ryu. could she be any more childish? Mari couldnt believe that she couldnt just sit quietly for a minute and let the grownups talk. she realized belatedly that she had thought "grownups" when reffering to her and Ryu. whoops. She really did see Kuri as a child most of the time so far though, she acted it at least.
What Ryu said made her freeze, mid-thought. She waited until he was finished talking before she began to holler at him. she was trying to get her 2 cents in before kuri descended upon Ryu to bring him hell on earth. She glanced sidelong at kuri, hoping she wouldnt get caught in Kuri's rage, at least thats what she would do if she were kuri.
"What?" mari said to Ryu her voice rising "what do you mean you cant hear him? and where do you think you get off blaming Kuri? if anything this was your fault, for taking over in the first place when kuri wouldnt let go. There has to be something you can do! even with soul-binding magic the people linked together dont just disaapear inside eachother! you better fix this." She turned to Kuri, maybeshe would know something about it. "Isn't there anything you can do? she stepped back, determined not to interfere this time. she would watch and see what Ryu and Kuri did.

Lakuri looked more and more frusterated at Ryu when he still had no responce to her kicking. She was about to say somthing else to gain his attention.. but then he started to talk a bit more... and what he said was quite devistating to her. No more Kyriu!? How is that even possible! it was his body to begin with! But the worse part about it was..... it was all her fault.... she made Kyriu go away! Apon hearing this, Lakuri imediatly started to cry agian. she didn't want Kyriu to be gone........she wanted Ryu gone! And her stuberness... it made him stay! Lakuri lowered herself to her knees and held onto her head... she wasn't in pain or anything.. she was simply trying to block herself from the rest of the world.... she couldn't deal with the fact that she may have taken away the one thing in the world that she loved.... and the only reason for her to be alive. Lakuri pretty much stayed compleatly oblivious to what limari or ryu said, lost in her own possible version of a panic attack, until Limair's voice was heard asking her somthing.
"Isn't there anything you can do?" She heard her ask. Lakuri lifted her head up to look at Limari. her face was red and wet from all her crying. Was there anything she could do?.... she had no idea. She simply looked up helplessly at Limari.. almost begging for an idea from her... but she wasn't going to giver her any, she knew that.
Ryu had mentioned that Kyriu was asleep... well if he was asleep.. it wouldn't be much of a problem to wake him up.. Lakuri knew a few ways to pull that off... only problem being....would any of them acctully work... esspecially with Ryu in control... did she even want to try anything while he was? HELL NO! but she still had to try.... or lose Kyriu.
After Lakuri stopped her odd stareing, she almost smiled at Limari. "I have... one idea." Lakuri said... still battleing her her head on if this was a good idea. She glanced up at Ryu then back at Limari. "i have no clue whether or not i want to do it though....."she paused agian, looking between the two. "I guess... i simply have no choice...." she sort of mumbled, but both of them could still hear her.
Lakuri crawled over to the front of Ryu, since she had been behind him.... and simply looked at his face for a moment. This wouldn't be so bad.... it was Kyriu's body after all. The only thing diffrent about it now... was his blue eyes, and jerkish personality... it wouldn't be so bad, really! After Lakuri managed to convince herself of this... she snapped sort of back into reality. Looking at Ryu agian.
"Please forgive me...." she said aloud.
There was so many people this could be directed at... infact everyone here! Ryu... for what she was about to do to him, Kyriu, for what she was about to do to Ryu, and to Limari.. because she had to watch this!
Lakuri then leaned in and acctually kissed Ryu, and for a much longer amount of time then one would expect from this situation. But, she did have a reason. She figured, that if Kyriu were to wake up to anything.... it would be to her. However, simply kissing Ryu as quickly as she wanted too... might not get him to notice.... there fore she had to keep this up for much longer than she would have liked too.... although, it was kind of nice that with her eyes closed... she could bearly tell the diffrence. Although there definantly was one.
After Lakuri figured that this was enough, mainly because she needed to breath.... she broke off, but as soon as she gained her breath she said quite loudly "Wake up Kyriu!" She watched over him for a few seconds... hopeing that she could notice the change... but nothing happened.... To her, it was still Ryu; and she REALLY didn't want to hear him say.. well anything in responce to what she had done. Even if This may take a bit of time... she just wanted to get out of this extremly akward situation! Lakuri quickly got up, and without really thinking about it.. bolted off, not bothering to explain to Limari, which she kind of would have liked too... but she was to afraid of the reaction from Ryu! she had to run! Lakuri ran all the way to a very... familiar area. Now that she wasn't so spaceially imparted as the first time her and Kyriu got split up, she knew where the house was. She couldn't acctually get in.. but she figured this would be the first place Kyriu would come look for her. She sat on the front steps for a bit... panting from all her running. But then she layed back on one of the sides to rest her head... and plainly passed out. She was so freaking tired from ssoooo many things that had happened today.... her body could no longer take it. Hopefully Kyriu and Limari would come to retrive her soon... who knows what could happen while she was simply uncouncious, and alone in this area.....
Things were getting a bit too hetic. Not only had this little event casued Lakuri to run off, but it also effected everyone else. It also did give Ryu some sort of discomfort. As he sat there, for some reason he recalled the last moment of his life. Even after all this time, he didn't understand it.
He had defened a country and a village with his life. Not only did he defend them, he saved them. So then why was he still here? Shouldn't be over....maybe...just doing that wasn't enough for him. But what more could he want anyway? All this thinking wasn't getting him anywhere, heck nothing he did was getting anywhere.
'' This isn't like you''
Somehow Ryu didn't move his head, but rather kept it lowered while looking at the floor. He did recoginize the voice that was ecoing in his head..but it was the last one he wanted to hear....at least right now.
'' You didn't used to be like this Ryu.....this is my fault isn't it? Because you saw me again, you were reminded of what you lost and how long you've been around. But you can't stay angery forever.''
Ryu still gave no response...it wasn't a good idea anyway,
especially since Limari was here. Explaining would be..difficult.
Instead he simply listened.
'' Listen..this isn't who you are. You gave your life to stop this kind of misery, and you even woke up from 500 years of slumber to protect the last of your bloodline. It's not time for you to be bitter....and I don't think it's Kyriu's happiness that will save you....it's yours. The more you remain, the greater Kyriu's body get's used to your pressense. Your thoughts and memories are being exchanged, and this is only because your upset.''
The samurai wanted to speak but still kept quiet expecting to
be hit by Limari soon.
'' I'll wait as long as you want...just be happy Ryu, If not for me...then for them.''
Once that was said the eco in his head stopped, and for some reason Kyriu's body simply fell over to the side quite lifeless. It remained like that....still not moving and refusing to show any signs of life.
'' Raise....your....head!''
Immediately Kyriu sat up suddenly gasping for air as if he was suffocated or drowing. Without much hesitation he ripped the tie from his hair allowing it to fall down, before standing up and shaking vilolently.
He looked around the area as If scaning for something, then his eyes finally stopped at Limari and they looked as grey as ever, quite similar to the night he had that horrible nightmare.
'' W-wh...w-wh..'' he stopped to take breath even though it barely helped his breathing or shaking.
Mari watched Kuri run off, deciding in a split second that she would stay with Ryu. Kuri looked like she wanted to be alone. She was very...confused. What had just happened? she had asked Kuri if she could help and she had decided that kissing Ryu was the most helpful thing to do? seeing as Kuri had made it plain that she kindof hated Ryu Mari didnt think it had any romantic meaning, but she still didnt understand why it would've helped. unless kuri's prolonged kiss would wake Kyriu up...? Mari shook her head. she would just have to wonder. it was too awkward of a thing to ask someone
She looked back at Ryu to find that he was looking a bit ill. He looked....could that be sad? from Ryu? Mari stayed put and watched him. he seemed to be drawn inside himself, his eyes slightly glazed. what was he doing? she hoped that that meant that Kyriu was coming back.
suddenly he sat up, untied his hair, and stammered at her. "which way?" was all he could make out. Mari said, "that way", and pionted in the direction Kuri had gone. "is it alright if i come with you?" she asked Kyriu, slightly shy. "i would like to stay with you if thats alright."

(dun have much i can doooo.........) Lakuri was still passed out on the steps while she waited for someone come and retive her. it was rather odd, while all of the world was up and active... Lakuri was laying here here compleatly uncouncious.
Hopefully, they would find her soon... it was rather cold at the moment.... and Lakuri might get sick...
(Shun wants me to say she gets raped by mikael XD )
Kyriu wasn't really sure what was happening but he did know that he really really....didn't feel well. That wouldn't stop him from finding Kuri however, even if his back hurt, hand was bleeding, felt like vomiting, and was dead tired. In fact he barely heard what Limari asked him because now he couldn't hear well either.
He shook off the head ache then looked at Limari '' One minute'' he said. What Kyriu was about to do was most likely a very bad idea, he didn't see any other option at the time. Standing around and waiting to be healed wasn't going to help his goal right now. He pulled out his weapon and went over to a barrel he saw. Without much hesitation he cut in half with surprising accuracy. Once that was done, he put the weapon away and swung it over his back since it had a strap. He took a sharp part of the wood and jamed it partcially into his already bleeding palm.
He tore of part of his school shirt and and tied it tightly over his wound. And of course just as he expected his dizzyness and other problems stopped bothering him since his body was focused on the newly open wound, which in turn allowed him to focus.. He stood up with difficulty without facing Limari.
'' I was about to ask you too, um......Shall we?'' Kyriu said to Limari. Strangely without waiting for a response he took off as well. If Kuri went off in this direction it meant that she was most likely going to the house...or at least thats what he hoped for. While he did worry if Limari could keep up, it was best to assume that her size( and stick)..weren't for show.
Kyriu kept running towards the house despite his left arm losing lots of blood, and his head spinning. Just a little more and he would make it. After a while Kyriu was able to spot Kuri's figure laying on the steps, unfortunately due to his unstable running he tripped and rolled several times..breaking at least three fingers.
'' ...........ouch'' was Kyriu was able to say while laying there on his face. It still wasn't time to give up, he was almost there.....just a bit more. He tried standing up several times but always fell down. He couldn't understand why this was so hard...it was just a few feet....what was with all the Injures?
Kyriu glanced down at the present Kuri gave him on his wrist. He used his teeth to untie it and held it tightly in his hand, before trying to stand up once more.....lucky for him this time it worked. Hopefully Limari wouldn't be far behind..and while he really did want her help....making her do this seemed unfair...so why not lower the work?.
He walked up to Lakuri picked her up and strangely put her on his shoulder.....which of course....hurt. Once he was able to open the front door he was able to get Kuri over to the couch and drop her on it.
The door was still open, and it would be better If Limari knew which house it was...therefore Kyriu tried going back outside....but sadly was about to collapse. A Idea hit him however, he once more pulled out his sword and flung it outside.
The sword flew into the air and stuck itself right in front of the house....few people would miss it.
'' F-finally'' he said then completely passed out on the floor.
He really wished he wasn't so tired....he would have liked to help some more. But maybe some rest would be a good idea....yes rest was good.
Mari watched as Kyriu impaled his palm with the wood and wrapped it. She thought he must be trying to get rid of dizziness. He must feel terrible after almost getting lost inside anothers soul. He stood up, not saying much except for "shall we?" to let her know she was allowed to come along. A fact which she was very glad for.
He sped off at an alarming rate for someone who was loosing blood and looking so ill. Mari kept up, barely. It was amazing how fast he could move when Kuri was at stake. Mari followed at a distance, not sure how much he wanted her assistance. She saw him trip and roll, grimacing. She was about to offer him help when he got back up and kept going, a determined look on his face.
"he's crazy," Mari thought "he's gonna wear himself to the bone if he keeps on like this." she realized that she had stopped walking when he had fallen, and had not started moving again yet. She just barley saw Kyriu turn a corner, and hurried after him. She almost got lost until she saw his sword on the doorstep of one of the houses in the maze of streets. At least he had let her know where he was, that was considerate of him.
She picked up his sword and walked in the open door to find Kuri unconcious on the couch and Kyriu passed out on the floor, his palm bleeding an several of his fingers bent the wrong way. She set the sword by the door and stooped to help Kyriu. "good lord," she muttered, slinging Kyriu over her shoulder easily and placing him next to Kuri on the couch," Can't you be a bit more careful? I'm sure Lakuri wouldn't be happy to see you like this." She bandaged his palm properly and made a sort of a splint for his fingers out of the wood that had been in his hand and another peice of cloth Which she had in her bag. That would have to do for now, until Kuri woke up and could heal him. She sat down in a chair and waited for the pair to wake up. In the meantime she twisted the grip of her staff and began to clean the blades which sprung from either end. She hadn't used them recently but it was always good to make sure they didn't rust, an cleaning them had become a sort of nervous habit for her. She wondered when Kuri and Kyriu would wake up. She still did need to tell them about her powers.

After all of this comotion, Lakuri slept a little bit more peacefully on the couch then she had on the stairs. She wasn't in nearly bad of shape as Kyriu was... but she was still pretty darn tired.
Then Lakuri started to wake up about an hour later. She made a few unpleased nioses before she woke up and lifted her head.... sleeping on stairs.... not the most comfortable thing in the world. Lakuri looked around and at first noticed Limari, surprisingly enough. "Good morning Limari." she said and yawned. Then she noticed Kyriu laying next to her. He looked as if he was dieing.... This didn't make Lakuri very happy. she crawled over him until she was able to place her hand lightly on his forhead. He seemed much paler to her then normal. "Kyriiiii what have you do to yourself?" she said quietly. The next thing she noticed was his hand.It had bandages around in to several diffrent ways. Lakuri delicately placed his hand in her own then started to examine it through the bandage. She could see that there was trase of blood through it, and that a few of his fingers where a lot harder then normal, which probably ment he had broken then... This really worried Lakuri. The cuts where easy for her. but.. broken bones.... Lakuri didn't know if she could fix... specially a few of them. But she still had to try. She placed her other hand lightly over Kyriu's as well as holding it from the bottom; and closed her eyes. She really needed to focus for this to work.
Lakuri stayed like this for several minutes... since this was acctually quite difficult for her. When she felt like she couldn't do anything more for his hand, she lightly set it down on his chest, then looked up at Limari. "Limari, do you know if he's injured anywhere else?" She asked, then thought of somthing. "You're not hurt are you?"
For some reason the moment Kyriu's head hit the couch he woke up, however he decided to remain completely quiet. He needed a good rest anyway, but there was still so much to do...rest wasn't an option just yet. Once he was sure Kuri had finished fixing him up he tried to move his finger, which unfortunately felt a bit stiff but were working properly. Where did Lakuri get her healing powers from anyway? No no that wasn't important, he hoped that all this didn't make her use too much energy.
He heard Kuri ask Limari if he had any other injures, but he really wouldn't like to mention them. Therefore he did his best to slowly pull his sleeve to hide the nail marks Kuri had given to Ryu...or him...or..ok...now isn't the time for confusing himself. While he knew it was a bit risky since he would be pelted with questions, he still opened his eyes.
This turn out to be a very bad Idea, and it proved that the injures he got weren't the real issue. Right now he wasn't feeling very well...at all...and the spinning room was proof of that. He wanted to speak but had a feeling that would increase the vomiting issue. A quick glance at his hands showed him how pale his skin was...now what could have caused something like tha-oh...blood loss.
Now this was unfortunate he couldn't talk, ok he could it just wasn't a good idea. Perhaps a shower, that was a good idea. He tried to stand up but wasn't even able to move his hands. In fact his whole body felt numb. You know it would have been better If he got an explanation on exactly happnened while he was......missing. One minute he was lurking on what Ryu was saying, the next poof...he just went. It was almost as if he fainted....but only came too when Kuri ran off. Enough of this....the matter was finished. But wait didn't they have a guest? Then what was he doing laying down and playing sick...he had work to do.
Kyriu stood up quite suddenly but then sat back down due to how dizzy his head was.
'' Well...I'm glad you too are alright, now just give me a moment I'll get something for you two to eat.'' Kyyriu said ignoring the cough that followed, and the red sick eyes that he had now. Well they were safe at least right? That was good..now there was still work to be done, one plate to wash, a bit of laundry, sweep the floor, wash the sink, clean the windows, and make the bed...and yes he remembered everything that was out of order in the house....oh and another dummy was left.
'' Ok I'll be off now'' Kyriu said standing up and was about to move.
Mari watched Kuri healing Kyriu, not saying anything until she was sure Lakuri was finished. The pink girl (which had, by now, become Mari's nickname for Kuri) straightened and asked her about injuries.
"I'm not injured," she said mildly, "but Kyriu has a gash on his had which may get infected if it isn't treated. If you dont feel up to it, i have some cleansing balm that would help, but a healers magic would probably be better." she glanced at Kyriu, now struggling to sit up. He looked on the verge of death. she was pretty sure he probably didnt want her to mention all his injuries but whether he wanted it or not, he needed to be taken care of. She was slightly amused and slightly sypathetic as she watched his efforts to get up off of the couch. then he started to speak.
she couldnt believe what he was saying. here he was, only half alive and very injured, and he thought he was going to get up and be a host? what was the matter with this boy? why the heck did he have to be so formal and proper all the time? she stood up as he did, in a slightly challenging manner.
"Are you crazy?" she asked, "I think your manners are allowed to slip if you're only about half alive. You are not going to get up and get us appetizers when youre about to keel over and die!" she made the last part a command without meaning to. she looked imploringly at Lakuri, wondering if she would do something about him. she tried another tactic. "and Kuri," she said, in a more pleasant tone than before, "dont you need to fix his hand?" she thought that that would get Kuri to make him sit down.
she gulped before she said the last part, completely genuine in her attempts to get him to stay this time. "Also, If you both are feeling clear-headed enough, i do have something ive been keeping from you which i would like to share." she sat back in her chair and waited to see what would happen.

Lakuri was a bit suprrised when Kyriu was suddenly awake... and acting up. He really needed to lay down and rest. but that wasn't like him. he had to be all host like. Lakuri would have done somthing rigt off the bat, but Limari imidiately spoke up.... maybe she could set him straight.
What she said amused her very much. She could never be that plainly mean to Kyriu, since she loved him too much for that. so it was nice to have Limari to do that for her.
When she was finished however, Limari spoke to her as well. "I'll be on that in just a second Limari..." she said and then looked at Kyriu. "Please excuse my methods of dealing with Kyrii... he can be a biit difficult." she said and smiled at Limari. then turned to Kyriu agian. "As Limimar said Kyriu, you being dumb. you are in no condition to be standing. you need to rest." she said and approched him. She knew that he wasn't sick with a virus or anything.. so her methods would work just fine with no harm to her. Lakuri leaned in and deeply kissed Kyriu, but as she did so, she forced him backwards onto the couch, since he was weak currently, this was no problem for her.... even with her amount of strength. When she got him to sit, she simply sat ontop of him so that he had no chance of moveing. "I'm sorry Kyriu, but i'm not going to let you do anything until you are doing better." she paused, looking him directly in the eyes with a very serious expression. She was very, very worried about Kyriu, and was in no mood to deal with his stubbonness. "Now you are either oing to hold still, or I'm going to have to be harder on you my love." she said and went back to holding his hand. She examined it and found the gash Limari had been talking about, then held onto it tightly to heal it. Then Lakuri proceeded to examine him, he was prbably hideing things from her since.... well he was like that. She pushed up his sleeves to discover more injuries, which she healed as well.
"You should be batter now baby. unless you're hideing things from me." she said and lightly gave him another kiss. "You're still not getting up though my love." She said and then turned her attention back to Limari. "Well, i know i'm clear headed, but Kyriu still isn't doing so good." she said. "But anyways, what up?"
Kyriu wasn't expecting any resistance from the two, but was surprised( and quite frightened) when Limari started to be bossy to him. '' Y-yes ma'am'' was all he could get out. What was even more surprising was how Kuri was able to trick, push, and pin him to the couch...that must mean he was worse than he thought. Which was horrible. He heard what Limari said about discussing something, and he was really all ears.
Not that this injury didn't bother him, or that he wasn't scared of this new duo....but now wasn't the time to think about any of that.
''' If you have something on your mind Liamri we would like to hear, oh but May I suggest a cookie? J-just one...maybe some juice as well...you can't start talking without finding something to eat first r-right?'' he said looking helplessly at both of them.
Mari watched Kuri with a kind of morbid fascination. Kuri's methods did amuse her, it was funny how easily tricked Kyriu was, but at the same time the blatant romantic-lovey-dovey-ness of it al kindof made her sick. She waited until Kuri was quite finished with her little display (although, admittedly, it did work) and then she could look straight at them again. She was about to speak up after Kuri had asked her what she wanted to share, when Kyriu spoke up again. She was amazed at how determined he was to be a complete fool. Not to be mean to him, but he really didn't have much common sense.
"no." she said, a little more gently. She had seen with Kuri that it would probably work better if she was calm and quite with Kyriu. "no thank you, I would not like anything to eat or drink. I'm not hungry, really. The thing I would like most is for you to sit and rest, and let me tell you what I need to, if you would be so kind as to do so." she didn't give him much time to consider before she launched into telling them about her powers.
"I've decided that I'm just going to show you my secret, instead of using words." with that said she made a ball of fire appear in her palm and tossed it into the air, summoning water to swirl around it so that it hung beautifully in mid-air. "I can do elemental magic." she stated, simply and to the point, "I've mastered fire and am pretty good at water. The others I've yet to learn." with this she made the fire puff out and explode, evaporating the water on the spot. She shot a jet of fire into the air about two feet high. The flame was large and very hot, and yet it did not burn anything, not even mari's palm. Mari controlled it so it didn't touch anything in the house. She decided this was enough and snuffed out the fire, looking back at Kuri and Kyriu. "the reason I wanted to tell you about my powers was because when most people learn i can do that they become scared of me and don't want to be around me anymore, and if that is going to happen with you two I would like to just get it out of the way right now." she sat back and waited for their reactions. She really hoped that they would except it, after all they both had very unique things of their own.

Lakuri pretty much rolled her eyes at Kyriu. He was being compleatly redicious and plainly... out of it. "Knock it off Kyriu, if Limari wants somthing i'll get it k?" she said to him then yet agian turned her attention back to Limari. Words could not explain how happ she was that limari was on her side. two agianst one means kyriu loses and has o get better!
Lakuri stayed quite until Limari's display was one with, it was quite amazing acctually! she knew people had the ability to harness elemental magic, but she had never really seen it for herself.
"That's really cool Limari!" Lakuri said and smiled at her. "I honestl don't think that that makes you any scarier, i just think you're lucky you hhave powers that alow you to protect yourself." she said then did somthing a little odd for the current situation, and leaned backwards onto Kyriu so she was sitting/ laying on his lap, while still faceing forward. "i'm so jealous! yo get the awsome element powers, and can fight, while I can bearly do anything to defend myself. " She said and looked up and back at Kyriu. "Thats what i use him for." she said, obviously teasing Kyriu. There was no reason to keep this sort of depressiong mood going... right?
