Name: Andres Tandet
Nicknames: Kan’jel, Prince, Firefox
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Species: Firefox
Position: Neutral
Powers: Andres has the power to turn into a firefox, the breed being that of a red fox due to his mother being a phoenix, limiting him from a choice of breed. This fox is not like any other fox that you could just waltz out and find in the wilderness, oh no, this one is of a special type only thought to have been within his tribe. A firefox, when in the fox form his tattoos ignite with a flame, the brighter they shine, the more determined or healthy Andres is in battle, or just overall excited or angry. These flames are always ignited unless their possessor dies, which isn’t very likely on Andres’ terms.
One feature that was brought about by the powers of his mother is the ability to summon a set of wings made of flames; this is usually used when in a tight situation or when he’s feeling deep pride in a situation. They can be summoned at any time, no matter if he is shifted or if he is not.
Weapons: He has no special weapon, just that of normal fox intuition when he is shifted into his alternate form. Though his fire can hurt others, he cannot be harmed by his own flames.
NormalShiftedAppearance: Standing at a medium height (5’10”), Andres is like most commoner boys at a first glance. His black hair with red highlights, his lean structure, his red eyes, nothing seems too out of the ordinary, something that you’d only believe of seeing in story books or something of the likes. That’s all he wanted to be, that’s all that he wants to look like being. Across his skin lie red tribal tattoos that he was given after birth as a part of family tradition.
His jacket is a large black leather zip-up with a white furred collar, underneath he wears a standard white t-shirt. His hands are gloved with thin, black leather gloves as to protect them from any damage that might be distributed while lifting or shifting weight with his hands. His pants are long leather biker pants with zippers running vertically along the sides of the legs. His shoes are thick military boots that he uses to maneuver around all types of environment.
When shifted, Andres takes on the form of a large red fox. The tattoos on his back begin to burn with an intense red flame. Around his paws are leather straps that protect them from any injuries that could occur while he’s on the run or in a small battle with another animal. If he sprouts his phoenix wings during a fight, they come out of the upper part of his back, being made purely of fire, extending to a miraculous 10 feet.
Personality: Andres is a rather dreary and rough individual, he’s one who’d prefer do to things on his own than to have others lead him through his life, quite the self-dependant teen. He’s rather rude and on the stubborn side, though it’s common seeing as where he was originating from and the added stress he’s been under for the past few years. Andres is far from what he wants other people to believe he is. In reality, he is just an individual that needs to have his outer shell broken before he is able to call someone a friend or something of the sorts.
If ever someone’s in trouble he’s quick on his feet to help in a fight, though most situations, if they don’t seem to be anything all too terrible in his eyes, he’ll simply ignore with a grunt, figuring them not worth his time. Andres was raised in a land where everything he wanted was handed to him, and now with the fact that he’s having to work for things, he’s very envious of others that seem to be entitled to whatever it is that they please, quite the hypocrite when the views have been swapped.
His views on life are those that it is worthless if the person themselves are worthless. If they choose to waste their life by not making the most of it, ceasing the day, then they themselves aren’t worth its own time. Surely he’s not a murderer, perhaps a bully at best. Andres could never kill another being unless he knew deep down that they were deserving of it, that they had done enough harm to others for them to have that as a punishment. Of course... he himself prefers to not dirty his own hands.
Original World: Yorani
Current Residing World: Radiant Garden
History/Background: Once there was a great nation, a nation of firefoxes established on the planet of Yorani. It was here that they could run free, carelessly and not have any other cares in the world other than themselves and their families. It was here that the great ruler of the nation lived, Andres’ father, Iptuf, the great firefox. He could have whatever it was that his heart desired, and after long searching, he had found the one thing that he truly desired the most, a phoenix for a wife.
Phoenix's were beautiful and elegant creatures, their grace, their poise, it was the perfect queen for a king. Although, it was near impossible to have one wed, let alone follow you to a so-called clan. So Iptuf sent out his troops to scan the land for a phoenix, and some months later they returned, phoenix captured and beaten... it was evident the process had not gone smoothly. Though, the phoenix was still as fiery as her tail that burned. Her name was Rina, she was the only phoenix in their world, and the clan had yet to establish that there was others. So after much bribery and ‘chats’ with the king, the two wed and led the nation for some time.
One year later a boy was born, he was not like the other members of the tribe, he was special. He was a firefox indeed, though he contained some characteristics of a phoenix, mainly his long, elegantly burning. This was one thing that they had yet to experience on this world, partially because the mating process had never been done... but still, the possibilities of this outcome was one that was highly unlikely. He was special, a special prince indeed, for this they would call him Kan’jel. Gifted one.
From then on he was raised to be a future ruler of the tribe, he was busy learning its customs and traditions. He’d even gotten tattoos around his body to prove his dedication to his people, the firefox. This went on until he was 12, and then something that no one could have interpreted came along.
The Heartless.
They stormed through the settlement, ripping apart the population one firefox at a time, stopping at nothing until all their hearts were in their possession. Of course, the king and queen needed to save their child, the ruler from the black demons. This was when Rina set out to defend her son, though she may not have wanted to be queen of this nation, nor husband to their leader, it didn’t mean she had to hate her son. So she flew, she flew him away from the danger and told him to stay, to be safe before returning to help fend off the enemies.
The land was a desolate place where he stayed, no one rarely came here. It was empty, no vegetation, animals, anything. The darkness knew nothing was here, they stayed away from it, no hearts, no interest.
After three days of waiting Kan’jel walked his way back to the tribe, though the sight he returned to wasn’t exactly what he wanted to see. The land had been destroyed, several buildings left with near nothing, just rubble and ashes. And not a single firefox to be seen. It was a catastrophe.
So then he ventured out, going from world to world in search of the firefox, trying to find one, anyone that could know about them, or find one in general. Still no luck, he remains searching, taking up temporary residence in Radiant Garden out in the canyons that surround the city, coming in on occasion for no reason in particular.
It would seem the kind of a non-existing race would be alone just a bit longer.
