Name: Jack Skellington
Nickname: The Pumpkin King, The Master of Terror, The King of Nightmares, The Skeleton King
Age: Around his mid-twenties, low thirties even... though, as the lack of flesh can clue towards, he is a being that is part of the living dead.
Gender: Male
Species: Undead skeletal being
Position: Good
Powers: Jack is immune to death itself, though that does not mean that he cannot feel pain itself, for instance, he can ignite himself on fire without feeling any pain at all, though when he is pricked by a needle of sorts, he will react negatively towards it and feel the pain. he also possesses extreme flexibility that no human can mimic, also including the neat trick of being able to take off his head for reasons he sees fit.
Weapons: Jack fights his enemies with dance-related attacks, carried out through various body movements, however, to have it truly be
his fighting style, you'd have to suspect there to be some Halloween spirit involved.
Blazing FuryJack summons three flaming pumpkin heads which surround him.
Icy TerrorJack fires a large snowflake, much like blizzard, at his enemy.
Bolts of SorrowConjuring a barrage of thunderbolts, Jack then releases the bolts of electricity continuously at his
PictureAppearance: Being practically a giant skeleton with rather formal clothing, it is safe to say that Jack is one such person who could give a small child nightmares for weeks if they were to see him. Tall and lanky is his build, though it’s to be expected since he’s only bones. Though, even as an undead being, he still believes it necessary to dress for success.
A tall and thin black and white, one button, tailed pinstriped tuxedo is his main choice of clothing when lolly gagging about Halloween Town. Perhaps the most noticeable feature of his suit is the large bat bow tie that he wears against his plain white undershirt. Its wings span out far past his shoulders, making it a very eye-attracting piece.
There’s the occasional time where he’ll drag out his old outfit that Sally had made for him. It’s much like a typical Santa Clause costume, though with longer extending boots and a tail on the back.
Personality: Jack is a charismatic gentleman whenever he can. He loves nothing more than to be vibrant and expressive through theatrical dramatics, which perhaps is why he is the best at throwing Halloween celebrations along with several other occasions that call for dramatics. He loves getting into what he’s doing, though sometimes he becomes absorbed by it and fails to sense things that may be obvious to others.
He prefers to make friends rather than he does to make enemies. He’s kindhearted and means well, though at times, he can rub people in a direction that he did not want to take them in. Fighting is not something that he likes to pursue into, he’s prefer to take the calm and subtle way out of things, using words instead of actions to solve rebuttals, though there are times when he is needed to throw a punch or two, and he’s there to do that when needed.
Original World: Halloween Town
Current Residing World: Halloween Town
History/Background: Whilst Jack was preparing for Halloween Town’s annual Halloween celebration. He was wanting the heartless to dance with him, though unpleased by the fact that they failed to cooperate with him, he went to Dr. Finkelstein to help aid with the situation. Sad to say, the only diagnostic measure he could rest on with the situation was that the Heartless were missing the main thing to have them dance, a heart.
With Sora’s help, Jack and Finkelstein could unlock the heart and continue on with the experiment. It hadn’t worked the first time round, so they went out and gathered more ‘ingredients’ to add into it. Soon, they were back for a second try, though it soon was taken by Lock, Shock and Barrel to Oogie Boogie.
Jack pursued the three, only to find that Oogie had devoured the heart, having him control the newfound heartless. Along with Sora and the others, Jack managed to stop the no-gooder and save Halloween.
One year later, Jack had stumbled onto a great discovery, a magical vale full of snow, bright lights, several things that he’d not ever even dreamed of. And it had all began from falling through the trunk of a tree in the local forest.
Coming back to Halloween Town, Jack told all of his friends of his findings that he had found while he had fallen through the tree accidentally. It was something different, something with endless splendor, it was perfect, it was what he had been searching for for oh so long. He soon wanted something like it all to his own. Of course, with Sally being Sally, she worried about him and of the whole idea of bringing it into Halloween Town.
Everyone was assigned jobs for bringing Christmas to Halloween Town. Jack was most taken by Sally’s assignment to mend him a Santa Clause outfit all his own. Soon with Sora’s help, he learned the true meaning of what Christmas was, helped defend Christmas Town against Dr. Finkelstein’s experiment and Oogie, and even got a ride in Santa’s sleigh as a bonus reward.
Halloween Town and Jack were in the best shape possible, it’s stayed that way to date, up and ready for any visitors that may find themselves wandering about.
Role Playing Sample: The choreography was great, the timing was by far perfect, but it was... just too happy! It did nothing to him, it didn’t move him, make him want to jump out of his chair and run down the hall in terror. It was rather just child’s play that he was viewing up there on that stage. Did they forget where they were? Better yet
who they were performing to?
He wasn’t called The Master of Terror for nothing.
His shows reflected who he was, what the whole season of Halloween was. It all lied on his shoulders, all of the season was up to this one event. If it was a bomb he went down with it.
Standing up he brushed off his suit, “That’s enough...”
Clearing his throat, he searched for the words for the act that laid before him. He didn’t want to make his sum up too offensive.
“Let’s just say that... you’re not what we’re looking for in this year’s event. I’m looking for heart pounding terror! For that scene that will make people have goosebumps from bringing it up months later!” he brought in hand reactions, having them run down his arms, mimicking as if he did have skin.
Sighing, hanging his shoulders, he looked up at them. “And you just... don’t fit the part, sorry. There’s always next year though.”
As the person left, he scratched his chin, pondering over the theory of had he been a tad too dramatic with her. ...Nah. Still though, all that he could do at the time being was to raise a hand, and motion a finger to beckon someone over. Shouting out the smae line as he had before.
“Next!”
