In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Heyy guys sorry to ask such a newbie question ive searched as much as i can but have failed to find the conditions of death. What happens if your character dies? is there a time limit that the character dies for? Sorry for asking such a newbish question but blegh. Blessed Be
Actually your character can die at any time, and as far as I know there is no time limit for death (it would be kinda weird if we knew how long we had till we died). But if your character happens to die, don't worry just make a new one and get back in the game.

thats not waht i mean. I mean like if your character dies how long is your character dead for? is it dead forever and so that character can never be used again?
Well your character is dead forever unless brought back by a spell, which rare to come by in the various people on here, as far as I know my character Yulia is the only one who can bring people back from the dead, but anyway after your character does die and its heart is eaten (if it's a heartless or human) their gone for good. But there is a good side to having your human character die, you can make a heartless and nobody character from them.
*nudges in* I'm not quite sure if all that Mav said is the accurate truth: last I recalled, if your character dies it's dead for good and can't become a Heartless or a Nobody, nor can spells revive it. I don't know where this policy Mav mentioned came from -- it's something you have to check with the "rule-makers" of the site. >>
Another note on character death, you need the character's creator's permission to kill a character first. The same can be said for getting your own character killed off. They need to ask you if it's okay, and you ask them, before anything can be done. Doing otherwise is greatly frowned upon.
*nods* Only really one character has died off this site (maybe two, I remember Seph being up to something, but I'm not sure if that character died or not), and that was in Timeless River á la Pete. Then it came back as some cyborg creation from Vexen... it was all just, if I may say, retarded. Oh... and Myde killed Demyx once, and was brought back by Hades (*coughs* Forgetting a certain someone when you said Yulia was the only one who could bring back the dead, eh Mav?).
Once a character dies it should die, but no one really kills off character as a past event. (Only in tournaments... and that's when it doesn't count). Just know if you make a character it'll stay safe.
((And in this post, I can state the phrase of "I <3 brackets")
Ok, so there was the one in Timeless River, killed by Pete (he's still proud about that), Sephiroth killed Zack (not the one from ff7), and Jude killed Axel Orlando. Oh, and Aerith killed Genesis with an Esuna, but he did not really stay dead.
Just a suggestion, if you do not want your character to die, stay away from Jude. I am very fair about it, and will give you warning, but I have no qualms about killing people.

okidoke i cant wait to start roleplaying here ive got everything set up im just waiting for acceptance/rejection of my character give it a look over if you want i could do with tips on how to make it better ^^
Oh, I know. Don't worry about it, it was pretty much rhetorical. Well, if you want a tip on the Profile, and keep in mind here I've got no authority over them - but if I were to give you a tip, it'd be to check your punctuation and capitalization, and run the thing through spell-check. An' I think Heartless is a proper noun.
