In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Summer was a glorious time.
Not only was school out-- friends had more time to chat, more people had time to hang out, and altogether, everything was easier. There was no stress from studying and homework, (unless you count summer reading as homework) and, during the summer, high-school drama seemed to fade away.
And that’s why Kairi was so happy. It was her favorite time of year; Summer. And one of Kairi’s favorite pass-times was going to the play-island. Even if no-one was there, it was always enjoyable. Especially because of how scenic that particular island was. Not that the rest of Destiny Islands wasn’t scenic… The play-island just had a different feel to it that, in a way, made it beautiful.
‘Freedom…’ Kairi mused to herself.
Yes. That was it. Freedom. The play-island gave a sense of freedom…carelessness…independence… And, Kairi loved it. She loved walking alongside the beach, carefree, a smile on her face. And she loved sitting on a certain paopu tree trunk with her friends, chatting away, hour after hour.
The paopu tree. Oh, that was one of Kairi’s very favorite places to go on the play-island… Besides the secret place, of course. And as the auburn-haired girl approached the oddly bent tree, she could see a silver-haired silhouette. But it wasn’t just anyone. It was one of her best friends. ’Riku.’ She knew it was him, even from a distance. Step by step, the girl came closer to her friend, and a warm smile appeared on her lips.
Friendship. Another thing Kairi loved.
Friends.
Making friends, seeing friends, and friends in general. She loved it.
“Hey.” (Not nearly as good as yours... But, I made an effort!)

Kioku held his tongue so that is showed between the side of his lips, his eyebrows screwed in concentration, while his eyes darted across the sketchpad he was holding. The pencil in his hand lightly brushed across the surface of the paper, leaving lines of different tones and depth, as he wondered whether it was better to shade in the sea or leave it light. He squinted his eyes as the sunlight pierced them. He blinked away the afterimages and went back to work on his drawing. Should he add some more texture to the sand or leave the shading to bring it out?
When he looked up next, he spotted a flash of auburn hair. Only one girl he knew had hair that colour. Of course, school was out, and there was no reason to do any more work, so it was obvious she'd be attracted to the play island. She used to spend all her time here with Sora and Riku after all.
He looked at his sketchpad one more time, before sighing and closing it. He slung it under his arm before leaping off the high rock he had been sitting on and walked towards Kairi in quick strides. 'Hey! Kai!'
As he approached her, he suddenly noticed that the crooked paopu tree which he had been drawing as part of the landscape had hidden a certain silver-haired youth- Riku. Older boy, ready to scare the crap out of anybody who got on his bad side. But no point in trying to avoid being friendly. 'Hey, Riku- I- um... didn't see you there...' he said a little lamely, wearing a sheepish grin.
Toban was awe struck by what he saw. This was what you called paradise. Sun, sand, tropical weather, and the ocean. It was all perfect aside from the fact that the gummi ship he had rented for his vacation was now falling toward the beautiful beach below at a slight angle.
Toban sighed, shaking his head in disbelief. It was ironic how he was about to die this was, not in combat, or quietly, but in a gummi ship crash while on vacation. The blue and white craft came in hard. It skid across the beach, leaving an ugly scar of upturned sand that looked strangely like a long deep trench that stretched out over the beach for about on hundred yards.
To his surprise, Toban was unharmed, mostly. He had a big purple-blue bruise on his forehead from when he slammed it against the glass dome that was the ships canopy. he fell back in his seat and breathed in slowly. After about a minute he unfastened his seatbelt. He pushed a few keys on the control panel, causing the canopy to open sluggishly. He jumped down into the trench that the ship had formed when it came down. He looked back and saw that sea water was starting to flow into the the trench like water into an irrigation canal.
Toban climbed out and rolled down the beach facing the ocean. He got up and dusted himself off. Looking around, he started to search the beach. He needed to find someone who could fix his ship. He eventually came to a tall cylindrical plateau that was attached to a bridge that led to a cliff with a shed. Also in the area was a dock as well as a large old looking tree.
Toban found a ladder on the side of the plateau opposite the bridge. He went up the ladder and when he was able to look over the top he saw three others that looked about his age. The first a boy with long silver white hair, the second a girl with auburn hair, and the third whose hair was a grayish color. he pulled himself up on to the top and looked at the three.
" Hey, um... you one of you guys wouldn't happen to know how to fix a gummy ship would you?"
He blushed a bit and ran his hands through his azure blue hair. This was embarrassing.

"Funny how we both come to the island at the same time..."
Kairi nodded, smiling back at him. Oh, how she enjoyed spending time with her friends. Each one had their own special quality that made it fun. Sora had an everlasting chipperness; he was always happy, and optimistic, Riku was a very thoughtful person; always bringing meaning into conversation. But no-one friend was preferred over the other, she loved them both the same. They were her friends, her best friends, or even, the brothers she never had.
"Great minds think alike, right?" Kairi replied, her eyes gazing out into the perfect shores.
'Hey! Kai!'
The teen's eyes immediately were taken off the pure blue water, and started searching around until she found the source of the voice. It was Kioku. Another friend, from school. She wasn't nearly as close to him as Sora, or Riku, but a friend was a friend, no matter what.
Then, before she could respond to her school-friend, her other friend began to speak. "This a friend of yours, Kairi?"
Kairi nodded, "Yeah, this is Kioku, he goes to our school." the teen explained, still managing to keep her signature smile upon her face.
And right as she finished speaking, another visitor had made their way to the paopu tree. Kairi turned her head a bit to face them. She didn't recognize this person. And he was speaking of... a gummi-ship. Hm... Didn't Sora use one of those to travel around the worlds? This boy must've been a traveler then. Interesting.
"Sorry, I don't know anything about gummi-ships... But, good luck anyway!" Kairi responded, sorry that she couldn't be of any help.
(Posting Order Time! Vel, Me, Kioku, Toban. Mkay?)

Kioku grinned. 'Yeah, I'm Kioku. I'm in the year below. Nice to meetcha.'
Riku was a person who apparently spent a lot of his time alone, or with either Sora or Kairi. He was rarely seen outside their company or his alone. He wondered what had made him so. After the incidence two years ago, Sora and Kairi had changed. But no-one had changed as much as Riku. The stranger thing was that nobody could remember such things happening, and life had spun on the turn of a missing page.
He turned to see an azure-haired boy walking towards him, looking a little awkward. Not a face he could remember. He must be a newcomer or a visitor. His analysis was confirmed when he asked about a Gummi Ship. Fixing complicated pieces of hardware... ack. Bad news.
'Gummi ships... eh, I'm not fantastic at science, to be honest,' he said apologetically. 'Fraid I'm not the best person to be asking that question. Sorry...'
