In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Name: Thief McHumanwitz Nickname(optional): Just Thief, thank you.
Age: What age when you have thie-- I mean, business associates to liberate of their current dispositions?
Gender: Male
Species:Elf Important
Position: Law enforcer, general thief-like individual, CEO of Thief Industries, maker of inadvertently binding contracts
Power(s): Stealing. As in, anything. Even souls and secrets. Even in plain sight. Oh. And summoning his squad of Law-Ninja to help enforce various binding contracts. Such as the one that makes it, according to his invention of "Super-Ultra-Fine Print". And being highly manipulative. (Note that Red Mage's cross-dressing "problem" was actually Thief implanting the idea.)
Thief also seems to have the inexplicable ability to not only steal anything, manipulate his way out of almost any situation that has nothing to do with Fighter spear-heading the situation, and hide just about anywhere, but also to practically find a way to bind anything and anyone (inanimate or not) into contracts for his own personal, greedy gain. Now the problem with this is that it leaves many people questioning how/where he puts all of the things he steals/blackmails out of people (which also seems to be another distinct ability of Thief's). Thief would like to point out that he is a master at Inventory-fu and Clause 1.a.
Weapon(s): Twin thieving knives. Or, well, you know, anything that is needed for the situation. And stealing. Stealing is a pretty effective weapon.
Picture(optional):
Appearance: 8-bit-like. Very, very 8-bit like. As in, all the worlds around Thief are fairly three-dimensional, while he, not having the better resolution of later games and concepts, has remained pixel-like with his 8-bit sprite body that, if given better resolution, would reveal a lithe, perfect, honest-- ahem, a quite acceptable business man out to further his company in this much-changing universe. And true to Thief's class, as well as true species, Thief wears fairly brownish clothes, right down to his elf-like pointy shoes. A brown tunic, over brown trousers, with brown arm guard (that may or may not be Armguard of +20 Thievery that may or may not be stolen from Red Mage in the first place), and brown (pointy) shoes that are designed to allow silent, effective movement.
The only thing that isn't brown is, quite naturally, his skin, and Thief's blue hair. Despite his low resolution, Thief is often described as a "pretty-boy".
Personality: Granted, there are people who are evil, and... well... atrociously evil. But Thief isn't Black Mage and BM isn't who we're here to read about. Of the Light Warriors, this one is, by far, though not limited to, the most greediest. Sure, he's right up there on the evil scale for being outrageously cruel, racist towards all dwarves --and other "lesser beings" by proxy-- and connivingly cunning. By nature, lawyers are evil, and subsequently, Thief is more oft than not not a very nice person. He'll sooner con you out of your soul, steal your life's work, and later bill you for the dry cleaning you didn't know you'd agreed to pay for in kidneys than consider you a friend. And isn't above lying, either, if that's what it takes. He will, in fact, ruin or kill people, all for his own gain.
Thief is also extremely egotistical, sharing in the belief that elves are the best thing since sliced bread (of which said reader now owes Thief ten gil for reading, thanks to the ownership of that phrase by Thief Industries, in accordance to Clause 1.a). And as such, prefers not to get his hands dirty, or, in general, fight in any actual combat unless there is no absolute out. True to his pretty-boy nature, he particularly likes sneak attacking from above because not only does no one look up, but also the fact that it's easier to backstab when they're... well... distracted. Thief holds up the elven level of beauocracy as well, enfolding himself in his lawyer state to not only further his own conquests at the cost of others, but also due a substantial amount of paperwork to get it all working properly. A well oiled machine of a company needs its contr-- rules. Yeah. That's it. Rules.
Original World: Elfland Current Residing World: Thieving about
History/Background: Our story here begins with, of course, the Beginning™. Thief was born as the Prince Elf of the Khee'Bler clan, and apparently lived up to the point where a) he supposedly got married (and never mentions it for many reasons), and b) had to secretly leave Elfland to raise money to afford a cure for his sick, dying father. Of which was begotten by stealing anything and everything that wasn't both nailed down and on fire (if it's one or the other, that's fine, but if it's both, forget it), and then pawning it for money to put into his "overseas account".
This subsequently led to him, seeing the potential of using the slowly forming Light Warriors Gang and their sheer and utter chaos of things, to continue to steal from everyone and their subsequently mentioned relatives. How? By binding Fighter into an all-powerful, binding lawyer-licious contract that stated, thanks to Super-Ultra-Fine Print®, Thief was the permanent group leader and entitling him to first dibs on everything the group discovered (especially treasure), with the exception of any swords Fighter decides he likes.
This sort of made Sarda ticked off. Resulting in Thief and Red Mage finding themselves in Traverse Town.
