In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Coffee hummed happily to finally be off of that wretched world. It cramped her styles in more than one way possible. There was hardly any activity to indulge herself in except the weak heartless that fed on the even weaker humes. The dangers and thrills of that world was below zero. There were too many annoying distractions like the whelp from earlier. Just thinking about all of the runts she encountered made her lip curled in disgust and annoyance as she resisted the urge to release a growl. With an heavy exhale, she stretched in the seat she curled up in, in the gummi ship. She wasn't driving it today, but another partner in crime.
Her ear twitched listening to her existence as an eye opened to look towards her. No it wasn't Creme which would seem quite out of character for her; generally the other viera isn't too far from her, but now they were worlds apart. She was focused on the gummi and she didn't need to be distracted by learning Coffee's endeavors. Also it gave the viera time away from her, since recently she had nearly snapped from their distance from each other. Such partnership shouldn't be so troublesome or take a toll on the huntress.
It's totally time for some new scenery.
"How long till we get there?" Coffee asked as her foot twitched; one long mocha leg was folded over the other, while she hugged Esmeralda to her in her light sleep.
Kigae flew her Gummi Ship through the ocean of Darkness that filled the spaces between worlds swiftly towards Olympus Colosseum. Her fingers flew across her console, activating the various functions required. Her Navi Gummi lit up, feeding the data needed to direct them towards that world, which wasn't very far from Traverse Town. The light for the Warp Gummi was also alight, feeding information to the view screen on where they were, how fast they were going and how long until they arrived at their destination. A digital clock was currently counting down.
"How long till we get there?" Her knew companion asked with one eye barely open, her ear turned towards Kigae. Normally Kigae hated that question but since this was the first time she asked the whole trip, it was perfectly reasonable.
Kigae looked up at the countdown and said, "Five minutes, forty-five seconds until we arrive." They had been flying at warp speed for roughly an hour. Kigae flipped a switch, engaging the auto-pilot so that when the timer hit zero it would automatically move in to land.
"So," Kigae started as she relaxed in her chair, "Tell me again about this Temple we're going to...'visit'?"

"Hm," Coffee hummed, "there are many of them to 'visit', but this Zeus, who's name travel widely may have some valuables in the depths of his temple. There are many nitnacks that seems to hold great wonders, and with power hungry people, they are worth a lot. The question is...how many of this gossip is true like Pandora's box, the Golden Fleece, the Sword of Death, the hide of the leviathan and the nemean lion."
Although gossip aren't the best things to go buy, they do root from some truth. Also if there was anything worth finding, it would be in those sacred temples perhaps far from the naked eye of exalt and worship.
"We can hit up all the temples if we like before our visit attract much attention and collect any valuables that they may store," it would seem logical that each temple oading to whichever persona hid a secret or valuables corresponding to the 'god'. "The question is...which one do we start first?"
There was a temple of Artemis, Athena, Hephaestus, Zeus. If they were successful, maybe they would find other lands and fields this world have to offer to gather the benefits.
Kigae reviewed in her mind what she could recall about the various "Gods" of Olympus. Of course, the most prominent God in her mind was Hephaestus, the Patron-God of metal-working, the one famous for forging all of the most powerful weapons that the Gods wielded, including Zeus' own Lightning Bolts. Surely his temple would house the finest weapons made by mortals, tributes to their God who inspired their works, and maybe they could even find some of the God's own weapons there. Those would be excellent prizes indeed.
Kigae brought up on the view-screen data on the Temple of Hephaestus. Turns out the Temple was a double temple. It was the Temple of Hephaestus and Athena Ergane and was located North-West of Athens, Greece, in the very city where everyone always landed.
"How about we hit up this Temple for starters. Hephaestus is the Blacksmith of the Gods so we might find some very interesting works here. They'll probably only be works done by the locals given as tribute to him, but we may find one of his own creations there and that could be very good prize. Plus its also a Temple for Athena, Goddess of Wisdom, so we might get something good for that too."
She turned to Coffee with a smile, wondering what she would think. At the very least, the people protecting this Temple were likely to be well-armed, a decent challenge.

A brow arched at the name; it was quite unusual like the rest of them, but one should judge a name to the value it can hold. It was a wise choice and cunning to the point it made her chuckle lightly. Hearing that she was tinkering with the computers of the gummi, she allowed her chair to turn to look at the data replica of the Temple of Hephaestus.
Her nose twitched with uncertainty hearing that it might house some weaponry from local mortals; she wondered how much value a primal world can have without having much technology as Ivalice. No matter, life have suprises doesn't it, but she won't put her hopes at great heights thinking the locals would make something of high excellence.
An ear did turned at the oppurtunity of finding a creation of the skilled blacksmith himself. Now that wasn't too bad of a bargain to tresspass and grab. With the attachment of the Athena's temple, it seemed quite too good to be true, but Coffee was always one to test the waters until the scale tipped.
Feeling eyes on her, Coffee glanced at Kigae catching a smile and couldn't help to smirk. This would be a venture worthwhile. "Hephaestus and Athena it is. Let's hope they're somewhat ready for anxious tourists."
With skilled claws, she grabbed a bag of treats from her top. Coffee always had a sweet tooth for caramel pieces; atleast this time she can enjoy one with piece without worrying about Creme stealing it straight from her mouth. Her fangs punctured the soft treat drowning in the sweetness, which jogged her memory of a nickname for her companion. She didn't seem like a Caramel, too sweet, and she have seen her fire...and so did the runt Zetsu.
Kigae smiled when Coffee agreed on the Temple. It was good that they agreed so easily. It wasn't like they were only going to hit up the one Temple, they would almost assuredly get around to looting Zeus' Temple at one point or another. But the Temple of Hephaestus and Athena was definitely a good start.
"Indeed, because if they aren't ready, they are going to be very sorry." Kigae said, in response to Coffee's comment about anxious tourists.
Kigae leaned back as the ship came down to land in Greece at the edge of the city in a secluded grove that she always parked at. As the final landing sequence was happening, she noticed the candy Coffee was munching on. A piece of Caramel. Oh God, Kigae loved caramel, but hadn't had the opportunity to eat one in months. "Do you have another piece?" She asked.

The viera couldn't help but laugh softly at Kigae as if she could feel her excitement. It's been a while feeling so light without any conflicts of frustration. Coffee can get quite used to this quickly; in its odd twisted away it was a peaceful nostalgia with a new spark of the new hunt.
Both ears turned towards the question as if they can pick up the hunger that laid underneath the question. The smirk grew with a chuckle; generally the viera was stingy, but meeting someone that she can mingle well with had diverted her from the norm. Curiousity stroke her, the same curiousity she have when around humes. How similar were all of them were...truely?
The viera wondered how much fun she should dabbled in. After all she doesn't wants to piss off her companion, since this was her gummiship. The last gummi she attempted to strip from under someone nose after a sour note was Creme. The viera wasn't going to stoop to that level of deceit; it didn't intrigue her enough to fuel her.
"Sweet Tooth," Coffee stated more than asked as she grabbed another caramel piece. Unwrapping it herself, she showed the bare piece beckoning the other to take it. "If you want it, take it."
Uncrossing her legs, the viera stuck it between her lips, while resting her arms behind her head in a lax manor. Let's see how her new curiousity will flow.
Kigae's raised her eyebrows as she watched her companion place the candy in her lips after showing it and sitting back with her hands behind her head. Well her new friend was certainly interesting, to say the least. Kigae has to suppress a giggle as she decided to play the Viera's little game.
She leaned forward and used her teeth to pluck the candy from her lips, while her own lips barely brushed Coffee's. She then sat back and slowly started to suck on the candy, savoring it's flavor. "Thanks, its really tasty, I really do have a bit of a Sweet Tooth." She said with a grin as the ship dropped its landing gears and touched down with a light bump.
"We have landed at the world of Olympus Coliseum." Said the Gummi Ship's computer in a voice that sounded like Sean Connery.
"Well, here were are, the world of Gods and Heroes." She said, still grinning as she got out of her seat and got ready to head out. "Let's find us some treasure!"

Her foot swayed, while waiting for her response. Candy on the viera's lips hardly last long before she indulges herself to have another one. Maroon eyes watched her in a studios manner noticing the expression before giving one back; yes, she was serious in her own playful way. The viera had already exhaled when she got close to pluck the caramel cube away.
Good girl...
Her tongue licked off any remains of her salvory weakness before holding back a chuckle and shook her head at her statement. It seems like she can keep a cool head, which is a likable trait. The long rodent ears twitched hearing the soft buzzing from the computer's speakers before a voice emitted from it.
Time to go, her mind locked onto a huntress mode as playfulness was set aside. Using her stomach muscles, she sat up and swung Esmeralda in front of her before standing up. Stretching, the viera enjoyed the pull of her muscles. With anticipation, the rava viera followed suit behind Kigae.
"I assume the gummiship will be secured, then again I doubt they would know what to do with." Her ears turned to drink in all the sounds of the worlds, while her nose inhaled its scent. It was fresh...natural, but not as natural as the thick musks of the woods.
Kigae chuckled at Coffee's statement about the Gummi Ship's security and how the locals probably wouldn't know what to do with it in the first place. "Funny enough considering where we're going, the locals would probably think that its a new creation of Hephaestus', like Helios' chariot or something." Kigae said with a small laugh as she equipped her Warrior Dressphere, bringing her sword into her hand. She rested it on her shoulder as she pulled a small device out of her pocket. Once they were about twenty feet away from the ship, she pointed the small black thing at the ship and pressed a button. A light double blip sound came from the ship, signaling that security programs were active. The ship shimmered for a moment as a holographic program covered it. Suddenly were there was a ship, there was now a rather large boulder.
"As long as they don't try to turn it into a statue or something it'll be good." She said as she put the device back in her pocket. She turned and looked around the forest for a moment, getting her bearings. She quickly spotted the opening in the grove that lead towards Athens. "Here we go." She said cheerily as she started to move, easily making her way through the forest, following various natural paths through the forest, mostly deer and boar trails. Soon the great Greek city came into view. Miles of stone buildings, the most important on top of hills making them more visible than the rest. Kigae noted the Coliseum in the middle of the city, as well as the Temple they were headed to, straight to the North about three miles. They were near the Western gate to the City.

Following her anxious partner in crime, Coffee took her time remembering landmarks and the landscape. The forest was just a speck of trees; it wasn't nothing too breath-taking; she had seen better...lived in it. The viera snorted the memory away as new scents penetrated her nose of the wildlife that dwelled in the forest. They were quite a variety, but nothing like the Malboro or the Panthers. It made her nose wrinkled at the foreign invading stench. While her nose calculated, her ears homed in on any sound like their feet to the soil, a snap of a branch, and flutter of bird wings.
With a hum, the viera was very laxed; if there was a thread, it was nowhere near them as they approached closer to the city and away from the forest. The primitive stone buildings brought a sense of gratitude. Atleast she won't have to walk in the moist forest floor with her heels that sank in the softer earth. What ignited a flicker of surprise was the lack of heartless. She thought the worlds were plagued with them; this place would seem like a pleasant hunting ground for the black fiends to feed off of the commoners. Perhaps they had a stronger protection then what their culture implied.
Maybe they prayed their way into safety It seemed likely; after all they placed these temples on high natural pedestals to be in plain view. Well there goes needing to grab directions towards it. She chuckled at the open invitation; it was laughable, the irony. What is open to all even open to sticky fingers.
With long strides, Coffee wanted to invade that temple more than ever as they drew closer to Athens. Remembering from the data screen on the gummi, Athens was closest to Thebes, while Olympus was seperated from them. One would have days of walking to reach them; one would have to fly to reach them. She smirked, this world is so seperated amongst itself that it can fall from the seems.
"This would be something else," Esmeralda rested along her shoulders, while her hands hung over it as she step foot into the city of Athens. Then the smell of humes hit her, she truly didn't miss this at all.
As Kigae walked through Athens, she noticed a distinct lack of both people, and Heartless. Hearing cheers from the distance, she realized a tournament must be taking place in the Coliseum. She had heard that all the Heartless of this World were under the Control of the God of the Underworld, Hades. Being a God, he had a higher level of control than most of the other Villains, almost perfect in fact. Such that, the Heartless never terrorized the citizens. Hades used all of his Heartless for the Coliseum, in an attempt to take down his enemy, Hercules. That would explain the lack of Heartless in the streets, but the lack of people meant that there was probably a rather large or important tournament going on. How lucky for Kigae and her friend. That would mean it would take longer for anyone to find out.
Kigae glanced at Coffee's long ears and figured that if she could hear the cheers, Coffee definitely did, and would probably figure the same thing. Then a thought occurred to Kigae. "The guards at the Temple will probably be increased. They would realize that someone might take advantage of the situation like we 'incidentally' are. That probably means more of a challenge." She grinned as she thought of it.
The Temple they were headed for soon came into sight. The stairs leading up to it were just at the end of the road they were on. There were two guards at the bottom of the stairs holding spears and wearing what looked like high quality steel armor. Looked like the guards of Hephaestus' Temple were well-armed indeed.

(darn I have no idea who's the moderator of this world..would be fun to fight a 3rd party)
Coffee hummed in response with a nod. Generally her excitement is shown through her acute sense of focus. As a trained huntress who made a living from collecting bounties, she would admire a challenge, but she wasn't about to put such guards on a pedestal of expectations; the viera rather not taste the blunt end of dissappointment. Now the viera became calculating. Although challenges were marvelous, she does want whats in that temple.
To cause a scene and increase the difficulty or slip in as sly as a fox and go along her way?
She snorted as she proposed the thought. It has been a while, since she has been messy; also known the whelps at Traverse Town were worthy to stimulate her. If these 'guards' were worthy enough to protect some heck of a treasure, then they would get a first class taste of a viera's strength. The viera grinned at the thought as she saw them right at the temple's stairs. The viera had nothing to hide whether it was her intentions and etc, which is why she openly leaned towards Kigae to arouse suspiscion.
"Might as well give them a proper welcome, if they are worthy to protect...we should test it." Standing up straight, Coffee's stride was polluted with confidence as allowed Esmeralda to swing from its perch, her shoulders. "Now who will be the first gentleman to step aside?"
They looked up at her as if she was a monstrosity; vieras weren't a common specie in the world, and anything uncommon was deemed to be spawn of Echidna, the mother of monsters on Olympus. Knowing the variety of the heathens, the guards didn't hesistate to pose defensively at her; there were hardly any monsters that were good news. Perhaps Hades had sent another lacky to amuse him.
((Yeah, considering this is Ancient Greece, the most appropriate enemy guarding the inner part of the temple though would be a Minotaur or a Centaur))
Kigae walked with just as much confidence beside Coffee as they approached the guards. She nodded in agreement when she suggested that they test the guards. That sounded like loads of fun, if their skills matched the quality of their armor at least.
Kigae grinned as her companion asked the guards to step aside. How nice of her to give them the option. Kigae mentally noted the way that the guards looked at Coffee as the got into defensive positions. They looked at her not with surprise, but with unconditional hate. Kigae vaguely remembered a story about Echidna, who supposedly spawned most of the monsters of this world. Apparently they thought Coffee one of them.
"Dear me, and here I was expecting some manner of chivalry from the men of Athens." Kigae said as her grin started to look devilish. She lightly scraped the tip of her sword along the ground before leaping forward, swinging her sword at the guard on the right.
"Thunder Blade!" Kigae said as her sword connected with the guard's shield. The sheer force of her strike sent the guard flying off his feet, landing roughly several steps up the stairs. In addition his shield had become electrified causing him to have to throw his shield off before he fried.
As the guard got ready to come back at Kigae, she glanced to the left to see how Coffee was handling the other guard.

(I shall try to find one to harrass for this then)
Coffee snorted at the response from them, "Have it your way."
She was used to various response to her lineage whether it was in wonder, lust, curiosity, or humor, but will they, guards of Athens, be prepared for her. Quickening her stride, she jogged towards him not thinking that he may surpass her in speed. The jog was a great anticipation for her to hold Esmeralda down to the floor to take some balance as a leg went up to deliver a kick to the face.
The side kick with the right was followed by a reposition and a kick with the left. The viera held her leg there while watching the effects of her handiwork. The guard was disorientated enough with pain that he succumbed to the floor. Yes, a helmet was benefitial, but they were made to protect the head from casual contact versus an intended hard blow. Waiting for a thud a grown, a smile cracked on her face as the viera settled down and continued on her way stepping on her as she walked passed.
"He may have a head injury...probably may not get up for a while." Coffee mentioned once catching Kigae's eyes on her. "Shall we continue or do you wish to toy with that one longer?"
Her ears turned to the main who ascended some stairs under command of a sword's might. She walked up to him and poked his head with her foot.
