In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Power(s): Guard Break Lvl 1: If an opponent/enemy is currently blocking or guarding against Daniel's attacks, this move will render the opponent/enemy open for a single thrust of the rapier. Uses: Three per thread. Cooldown: Two posts.
Zantetsuken Lvl 1: This ability causes Daniel to quickly shoot forward, thrusting his rapier into the opponent to cause moderate damage. This is easily avoided, due to the build up to execute the move. Uses: Two per thread. Cooldown: Five posts.
Magnera: This ability summons a focus point of magnetic energy to bring in opponents and medium sized enemies alike. The force of this ability reaches out to three meters. If anyone is outside of this radius, they're not affected at all by Magnera. For the duration of Magnera, or until Daniel lands a single hit on a trapped victim, the opponent/enemy will remain twirling for a brief moment. Uses: Two per thread. Cooldown: Five posts. Duration: One post from the opponent.
Precision Instict: After ten years of training with the estoc rapier NeedlePoint, Daniel has gained amazing accuracy. Thus, the strength and damage of each thrust is quite significant. Uses: Passive
Nimble Instict: After ten years of evasiveness training, Daniels has become very smooth and quick with his movements. Dodging becomes easier to do, but he's far from perfect.
Multi-Guard: NeddlePoint is a such a small little thing that it can barely guard against an orange without perfection. So, to be able to at least counter ranged objects, Daniel has trained himself to be able to spin the rapier quick enough to block projectiles. The most he can block at once is about three, maybe four projectiles. Anymore and one will get through and mess everything up.
Weapon(s): Estoc Rapier/ NeedlePoint The rapier given to him by his Master, Orcion. This is a hand-me-down from his Master's Master and so on. There is no sharp edge on either side or around the tip, unlike other rapiers. The only lethal area is on the tip, which contains an extremely fine point. If anyone were to be hit with the sides, they would feel a hard whack, but no cut would be made. With the training of estoc rapiers becoming rarer and rarer every day, estoc use is a sort of secret art passed down only by Masters of the technique. Fighting with one requires pinpoint accuracy to thrust the tip into vital points. The fighting style is fluid in every movement and is quite elegant to watch if two users are fighting against one another.
Picture(optional): None
Appearance: Daniel is a pretty intimidating guy. He measures in at exactly 6'0" and weighs about 177 Lbs. For a man who's supposed to be elegant in movement, one wouldn't think to take Daniel seriously about his abilities, since fluid actions are attributed to those who usually are thin and nimble looking. To effectively use a rapier, one must have the strength to thrust their weapon into the vital points of an opponent. Not only that, but speed comes from thighs, practice, and endurance, thus the reason for his formidable body frame. The swordsman has shaggy brown hair that comes to a little over the eyebrows and comes down to about mid-neck in length. Any hair that falls over the ears is scooped back behind them, so Daniel has no obstructed hearing.
Daniel has hazel eyes and a normal sized eyebrows. Under his clothes, Daniel is literally a human canvas. His entire chest and back are covered in tribal-esque tattoos that stop right at the shoulders and where the pelvis meets the rest of the body with a chain like design.
Clothing ~~~~~ Daniel wears a special set of "Trainer Clothing" that consists mostly of the color white and light blue, with a touch of purple. He wears a white tunic with light blue seams and strings for tieing it all together. From the openings at the shoulders, Daniel has short sleeves of blue cloth with white near the armpit sections. Around his waist is a brown and purple waist band to keep him from killing his back while he trains and dodges moves. A white sash with a purple border comes to the knees in length, covering much of his dark purple pants from the front. The boots are rimmed with purple with a light blue base color. There are dark purple sleeves coming from the shorter sleeves and they hide inside of a pair of purple gloves with blue stripes.
Personality: Daniel is normally a very energetic individual with confidence in his abilities. He's not to be mistaken for someone who's hyper, though. He's just ready for anything, is all. He's a very kind person to most people and barely keeps grudges against individuals. Those who are unfortunate enough to have a grudge are met with a much more serious side of Daniel. During these times, he's quiet and always thinking, often nodding off into space and dissapearing within his thoughts. For his elders he shows great respect and believes that even the elders who are merely townsfolk have a lesson to be learned from their infinite knowledge, even if the knowledge is only how to better clean one's ears. He can also be quite the flirtatious young man if given the chance with a young lady of proper age. In tight spots, the estoc wielder becomes less effective, though, due to the lack of time to think and whatnot.
He fights to the end, no matter the cost on his part, but if the situation could get his friends hurt, he'd gladly give them cover as they try to get to a safer area, or if he just needs to protect them. Thus, his clearest weakness is the devotion to protect his friends and make every stand to keep them out of harm's way. If dieing is the answer, then so be it. Honor to Daniel is the most important thing next to food and water. If he quit on something without trying to win and without giving it his all, he'd be disgracing the memory of his Master. Not only that, but he'd lose, or die, with the knowledge of his disgrace on his shoulders.
Love is also another strong weakness to him. As his Master once said, "Emotions aren't meaningless and pushing them away is horrible, but one should always know how to control said emotions." Everything such as hate, anger, happiness, and sadness can be controled quite well, but when love gets into the mix, his Heart pushes him to protect the woman he loves, even if she wouldn't love him back. This can only really be said about true love, though; Love that his Heart know is right, which keeps him from protecting every woman in the area.
Courageous, yet sometimes timid, Daniel keeps his dreams of finding either his Master to continue his training, or finding the rightful student and heir to the estoc weilding legacy.
Original World: Mekino Current Residing World: N/A History/Background: "I remember a lot from my past. I had a decent life. We didn't have much, my family and I, but we made it alright and I came out a great person because of it all." A young woman looked into Daniel's eyes, obviously interested in hearing about his life. She had to be no older than Daniel himself. The rapier weilder looked over at her and smiled. "You must be pretty interesting, especially because of that thing." She pointed at NeedlePoint, his signature rapier and hand-me-down from his Master. "I guess," Daniel remarked as he patted his weapon, "but I'm sure you're more interested about my past than anything, right?" The woman nodded and prepared to listen to the warrior's story. "I can start the story on my thirteenth birthday..."
~~~~άλφα~~~~ "Happy Birthday, Daniel! Aren't you happy to finally be thirteen!?" In a neighboorhood somewhere in the middle of town, a birthday was going on. All of the neighboorhood kids were invited to come over and have fun just messing around. This was Daniel's last birthday party that his mother could host before he went off to a private school in another area. His mother pleaded and begged to have him let her host this last party and he gave in and said yes. It wasn't at all as bad as he had thought, the party. It was just some of his presents on the table, along with his chocolate cake. The party was pretty much devoid of any parents, other than one popping in and out every now and then to check up.
Daniel shrugged his shoulders as he lazily plopped onto one of the tan couches in the living room, where the party was taking place. "I guess so. It's not much different from being twelve, you know? Did you feel different when you were thirteen," he asked his friend Charles. "Absolutely! I felt plenty different! I was finally considered a teenager! I'd be a lot happier if I were you, Daniel. The older kids won't pick on you as much anymore." Daniel gave a little chuckle and turned to look at his presents, but instead noticed a pamphlet on the coffee table, his eyes examining the cover. He leaned over to pick it up and opened it to read the contents. This was a pamphlet about his private school.
Inside, the articles described how prestigious the academy was and how rigorous the studies would be. It displayed pictures of some students and of the school building and court yard. Suddenly, as he read every last word on each page, his heart began to sink. Daniel could feel a type of depression wash over him. This school was going to give him much better job opportunities and his parents would be proud of him, but was this what he wanted? The birthday boy examined the room around him, noticing all of the laughing and smiling faces. Was he the only one that wasn't feeling excited about the opportunity he was presented with.
"Okay, guys! Come on over to the table! We're about to eat! Come on, Daniel! Don't you want to open your presents?" Daniel didn't want to ruin the party for everyone else, so he quickly put on a fake smile and made his way to the table, taking his seat near the cake. The lights dimmed down and the candles were lit as everyone sang happy birthday to him. When they all finished, his mother said, "Now you can blow out the candles and make a wish. Make it a good one, okay baby?" Daniel nodded and stared at the flames as they danced on the candle wick. He knew exactly what he wanted the most. He took a deep breath, made sure he spit wouldn't go flying everywhere, and blew out the candles in one fell swoop. I wish... I wish someone would help me.
[~[~[ Four years later ]~]~]
"What are you going to do for a job, Daniel? Hm!?" His mother stood next to the kitchen table, one hand on on the table and the other on her hip with a rag. Daniel sat in a chair, his eyes focused on a school book. He had stopped reading to listen to his mother for a second, but was now preparing to continue his studies. He wasn't prepared to deal with this bickering from his mother right now. He had already had a rough day as it was, but with his mother and father constantly on his case about a job, he couldn't get a break. "Talk to me, damnit! You're not going to stay here your entire life! You're not going to leech off of us because you're poor! You're no.... Look at me when I talk to you!" Daniel glanced over at his mother, whose face was as red as her beet stew.
"When you're forced to live out on the streets, I want you to remember that it was your fault! You chose to stay here and not go to that school! You chose to become this... this useless parasite that only sucks money out of his parents!" Daniel kicked the chair back as he stood up, hitting the lamp, his book, and a few dishes onto the ground, the lamp and dishes crashing into pieces as they fell to the ground. "I'm tired of taking you're crap! You wanna know why I'm tired all the time!? It's because you keep making my life miserable! You won't let me go to bed without your breathing down my neck! You and father both make my life a living hell!"
His mother pushed her son aside and stared at the glass on the floor with a look of disgust on her face. Daniel took a few steps back to keep a safe distance from her. "Look... what you've done! That's money out of my pocket! Why do you torture us like this!?" Daniel stared at his mother, baffled by how she said that he tortured his parents! How could she lie like that and expect sympathy or understanding from him. "You make me sick, mother! You and father both! You're disgusting! Take care of yourselves when you're old and nearly dead! I'm glad you hate me, because I hate you, too!"
Daniel grabbed his jacket from the coat rack and burst through the door as quickly as possible, his mother cursing him from behind the threshold of the doorway. He took one look back and saw his father join in with his mother. As he ran down the dark streets, he could see lights turn on in the otherwise black houses. Neighboors stepped out of their homea to find out what the yelling was about, but they wouldn't be able to see Daniel. No, he had already ran past the block by the time they had seen anything. He ran, and ran, and ran some more as he dashed to the park, the only thing he had left to remember the better times being a locket from his last girlfriend.
[~[~[ 30 minutes later in the park ]~]~]
It had started to rain as Daniel sat on a swing in the lonely park. He stared at the ground, watching the rain create ripples on the puddles under his feet. He would probably get sick, but who would care? Not his parents, that much was for sure. His mother's words rang throughout his head as he sat there, swinging slightly forward and then back. "Young man, what brings you out here at this time of night and in this type of weather? You'll get sick! I'm sure your parents are worried about you right now." That voice was raspy, like an old man with a sore throat. Daniel lifted his eyes, looking through the wet hair that had stuck to his face. There he was; a man who looked to be in his early thirties in a black rain coat.
"I could ask the same about you, minus the worried parents," Daniel replied in a more depressed tone, almost as if he had began to slur words. The man laughed as he showed the teenager a bucket full of dirt and worms. "You see, I enjoy fishing, but with the lack of good quality bait, I often have to come out on rainy nights and search for worms to use. This is a favorite hotspot of mine and I usually gather about half a bucket full by just searching around here! Now it's your turn to tell me what you're doing out here." Daniel showed a slight smile for a second before returning to his frown.
Daniel told the man his story about how he wanted something more than what his parents wanted and how he ran from the hell at home. During that time, Daniel had to talk louder at points because the man would go a bit farther to search the dirt for his bait. Now, he sat next the runaway teen on a swing, his bucket full of dirty, writhing fish food. "I'm terribly sorry to hear that story. I, too, had to choose between what would make me happy or what would make my parents happy. I left before it could get as bad as your problem, though." The older man patted Daniel on his back, giving him a cheerful smile.
"Let me be the first to tell you that I don't want you going back to that house. Instead, what I want you to do is go to a friend's house, stay there for the night, and then come to this address in the morning. I think I know a way to make your life better. It worked for me and I really hope this works for you." Daniel grabbed a card from the man and, as he read the print, the odd fisherman dissapeared in a flash. There was no shadow down the street and no footprints leading to the road. What did this man have in common with Daniel... Who was he?
[~[~[ Next morning ]~]~]
This was the place. Daniel had followed the address completely. Before he came here, he made sure to talk to his mother and father. He told them that he was moving out and most likely never returning. They agreed and slamed the door behind him as he strolled out, a smile across his face as he did so. He didn't care whether or not he had to live on the streets. He just didn't want to be there anymore. Daniel walked up the steps to the building and looked around. He could see the building's courtyard where a giant circle of stone was surrounded by lush, green grass. The bulding was a large mansion of sorts that towered above him, his eyes unable to see the tallest tip from his position.
He rang the doorbell and awaited an answer. No later than a minute, the odd fisherman from the night before answered the door, a grin stretched across his face. "Welcome, welcome! Please, come in. Let me give you a tour of the place." Daniel stepped forward, examining the house and all of its elegance. The floors were of the cleanest marble he had ever seen in his life and the archs over doorways were magnificent. The stairs that lead to the above rooms were made of white marble with red velvet on each step and the handrails were made of smooth oak. "Do you like? I had this given to me by my last fencing trainer, Master Lynn. He was a very artistic man and this was all his work, right down to the very last detail."
"It's amazing! I can't believe that a place so beautiful exists." "If you think this is interesting, wait till you see the study." Taking the stairs up was a bit tiring, but it was worth it. There were more than three floors in this huge building, each floor having a bedroom and a bathroom, then many other rooms for random things such as the study, the art studio, and a room of nothing but mirrors. As he followed the man into the study, Daniel became aware of one single fact; he had no idea who this guy was. "Sir," Daniel began, "I'm not sure we've exchanged names yet. I'm Daniel. Daniel Garland." The older man laughed heartily as he turned to face the young teenager.
"Why, you're absolutely right! My name is Master Orcion. Why we're exchanging information, allow me to tell you why I've brought you here." Daniel and Master Orcion stepped into the study and the teen was immediately shocked at the amazing sight he as witnessing. In this room was a fireplace, two tall bookcases full of books, a desk with a lamp and pens, a recliner chair and plenty animal heads that snarled at the young man. The most amazing sight, though, was that of the full suit of armor above the mantle. It stood there, its armor reflecting the light of the fire and looking perfect. In its hands was a single rapier that seemed to be the only unfitting thing on the suit of armor. "Daniel, I'm not just a fisherman. If you recall, I'm called Master Orcion. That Master title comes from me being deemed one by my own Master. Also, recall the fact that I said I was trained in something. That something is the art of estoc rapier fighting, one of the rarest forms of rapier use in the entire world!"
"W...What does any of this have to do with me, though?" "You... I want you to be my student. I will teach you everything I know about estoc use and of," Master Orcion looked around a bit before continuing, "magic." Daniel simply stared at the Master. "Magic?" "Yes, my boy! Magic! I will teach you the magic that my Master taught me and I'll make you one of the best fighters in the whole goddamn universe!" Orcion shouted this with the biggest smile Daniel had ever seen in his life. "...I... When do we start training?" The grin on Master's face grew even larger as he placed a hand on Daniel's shoulder. "Daniel... No, Young Master Daniel... Training will start immediately."
~~~~βήτα~~~~
It had been five years since Daniel had left home and become a Young Master. He hadn't heard from his parents since the day he told them he was leaving for good. He was now a man and all of his friends had moved on to lives of their own. It had been five years with Master and his training methods for the estoc rapier. It was now a Tuesday and Daniel and Master Orcion were in the middle of precision training. The Student's Rapier in Daniel's hand lunged forward and stabbed the moving dummy continuously until little holes began to form together and become more visible.
"That's good, Daniel. You're becoming better every day." The Young Master gave a slight smile as he continued with his practice. He stabbed the dummy in the chest again and again and then got it in the kidney region. He was learning how to effectively strike the opponent's weak spots with each thrust of his weapon. Then, without any warning, Daniel messed up and the rapier bent on the dummy's potato-sack skin and the magic imbued into the inanimate object blew Daniel away a few feet. The rapier trainee landed on the ground, waiting a few moments before standing up. He brushed himself off and looked at the Master with a sliver of shame.
"Hahahaha! Don't look at me like that. There's nothing to be ashamed of. No one likes to make mistakes, but they help us learn to do things right. Go on! Show me your expert precision!" Daniel immediately smiled and he stepped forward, lunging towards the dummy with his rapier and stabbing it endlessly.
[~[~[ Days later ]~]~]
"Hi. My name's Candice, but my friends all call me Candy. You can, too, if you want." Daniel was out in the main shopping district, trying to catch a break and calm down after the rough practice he had just gone through. He had stopped by for a bit of coffee at his normal place and had sat down in his normal seat, when a chick in colorful clothing had appeared from nowhere. She had light brown hair with bleach blonder highlights that was straightened out to cover her left eye and reach her left breast. Her clothes consisted of all black. She was wearing a dress that came up to her mid-thigh. There was a plethord of black lace on the edges on she was wearing black gloves. One hand held a white handbag, while the other was placed on the edge of the booth across from Daniel.
Daniel smiled and gave Candice a nod. "Pleasure to meet you, Candice. I'm Daniel. Why don't you take a seat? I don't bite too hard." Candy giggled a little as she took a seat next to Daniel instead of on the other side. As she got closer, the Young Master could smeel her strawberry perfume. At least that's what it smelled like to him. "I don't see men come to this place very often. You're one of the very few that do. Hehehe. I like a man who's not afraid to come to girly places." Yeah, Daniel's favorites place for coffee was a shop for mostly females, what with all the pink coloring and whatnot. There were mainly female customers and employees, although he did ocassionaly see a male.
This was the only place that carried the special blend of coffee that Daniel liked, though, so he forced himself to come here and get over the fear of being ridiculed by other males. "Yeah? Well, I'm pretty sure that I'm not the only guy that you've had your eye on today, hm? I can tell by your lovely figure that you get all of the guys lined up, don't you?" Candice put her hand on Daniel's and applied a little pressure to it, putting on a seductive smile. "You're right about a little bit, but you're not the only guy who..." At that moment, a familiar man walked in and sat at the table, a grin spread across his face.
"Daniel, my good boy! We have no time to waste! Come on, hurry!" It was Master Orcion and he was in a sort of rush to get Daniel out of there. Candice slowly slid out of the booth and allowed Daniel to get out, waving good-bye in a very attractive way and blowing a kiss.
[~[ The Manor ]~]
"Come on now, Master! What was that all about!?" Orcion proceeded upstairs, motioning for Daniel to follow. As the two walked upstairs, Orcion explained to his pupil his reason for interupting. "Daniel... I'm only doing what my Master did to me. I'm keeping you away from any female, or male if you're like that, attraction until your training is officialy done." "What!? Are you some rapist, or something!? Why don't you want me to have a little fun in between my training!? Do you want me all to yourself, or something!?" Orcion opened the door to the study and stood near the armor with a smile.
"Daniel," Orcion said as the Young Master shut the door, "I don't want any emotions taking over your judgement. Precision is based upon how much concentration you put into what you want. If your emotions get the best of you... You'll lose everything that I've taught you. I don't want you to be like that." Daniel took a seat at the desk and stared at the fire in the fireplace, watching as the flames danced. It reminded him of his birthday cake from when he was thirteen. "Emotions aren't meaningless and pushing them away is horrible, but one should always know how to control said emotions." Orcion used a bit of magic to bring down the rapier that was being held by the suit of armor, holding it now in his own hands.
He studied it as if it were a textbook before turning around and walking towards Daniel. "Daniel... This is a weapon that I think you deserve right now. It was a weapon my Master gave to me before passing on to the afterlife. He told me once that a student could be just like their own son or daughter and now I understand what he meant. I protect you like I would protect my own son, Daniel. You're all I have and I don't know what I'd do if I lost you because of my laziness." Orcion held out a rapier in front of Daniel, who examined it closely. He noticed that there were no sharp edges, unlike his last rapier. Now, the sharpest point was on the very tip.
"This, Young Master, is called an estoc rapier. It has a name and it's called NeedlePoint. Once you're more skilled, I'll let you make your own rapier, but this, for now, is the most powerful weapon you'll be holding for a long time." Daniel took the weapon and felt how light it was, still examining it. "Thank you, Master. I'll take your advice to mind and will not disgrace your name!"
~~~~Ωμέγα~~~~
Five more years of training had paid off for the weilder. His life had been devoted to only the training and use of estoc rapiers and magic use. In total, it had been ten years of training and now, the day of his induction into the Grimoire of Masters had finally come. He had dressed up in newer Training Clothes and held NeedlePoint in its sheath on his right side. Daniel was so excited for today that he could barely keep it in. A bell rang out through the house and Daniel knew that he was late. Daniel rushed towards the auditorium in the manor and nearly ran into the new Maids and Butlers that had been hired a few years ago.
The doors to the auditorium burst open as Daniel rushed to the stage. There was barely anyone here, other than a few friends who took time out of their schedule to be here. Those people wee his best friends and they always promised to be there for each other. He had made it to the stage where Master Orcion had taken his spot in very elaborate garb. He had dressed in a white and gold robe with colorful gems placed on the seams. On a stand was a large book that looked to be full of names and history. Orcion only smiled and shook his head as he turned to announce to the audience about Daniel's initiation.
"Good afternoon, everyone. I am Master Orcion. Today, I'll be conducting the initiation ceremony for Young Master Daniel Garland. Daniel, if you would, please?" Daniel made his way to Master Orcion and stood up straight, NeedlePoint at a perfect ninety degree angle. Master looked into Daniel's eyes with great happiness. "Daniel Garland. After ten years of training and perfection in the use of estoc rapiers, I, Master Orcion, hereby establish your name as Master Daniel." With that, Orcion placed his fingers on Daniel's forehead and began to chant in a language that he didn't understand. After it was over, Orcion brought him over to the Grimoire and handed him a feather quill.
"Go on, Master Daniel. Your name will be insribed within this book forever and you shall be remembered as one of the most skilled warriors of your time." Daniel was a bit hesitant as he took the quill from Orcion's hand. There was something odd about him today. He seemed too eager for Daniel to sign this book. "It'll only take a second, Master Daniel." I wish someone would help me.... "Oh my god! What is that thing!?" Daniel immediately looked towards his friends to see what the yelling was about. On the floor was a black, cricket-esque form made of shadows. It had big, yellow eyes that stared into the farthest reaches of one's mind and soul. It's entire being had no emotion. It was just empty.
It was then that the doors burst open with Darkness and it was then that he saw Master Orcion for the last time, along with his friends. Master Orcion gave a smile that could only be described as disturbing. He stared into the depths of the black abyss that was the Darkness with intent for something. Then, in no time at all, his whole World became nothing but black.
~~~~ Reverse/Rebirth ~~~~
"That's when I woke up in this place. I can only remember that much." "Do you wonder what the Orcion guy is doing right now? He was grinning at the Darkness... That's not a good sign, you know that?" Daniel grew a little silent as he turned to face the moon in the sky, its light bearing a familiar feeling of embrace that could only be achieved by such a magnificent beauty. "I know that he had his reasons and I'm sure that he's out there somewhere. I'm going to find him and find out why he smiled at the evil had seeped through the auditorium. If I can't do that, then I'll just find myself a student to train and by God he'll be a better version of me."
Role Playing Sample:
Daniel saw the menace before him; Its empty, yellow eyes staring at nothing. It gave Daniel the feeling of being able to look into the eyes of a dead man, the feeling not being so amazing. Not only was this one here, but it also brought some friends to play. This was Daniel's moment to test his skills on actual opponents that didn't weild rapiers. This was the perfect training method for him as these were live dummies! The new Master took his stance and unsheathed NeedlePoint, the moon giving the cold steel a magnificently perfect sheen that simply spelled the word "death". As the first enemy lunged forward, Daniel took the initiative and dodged backwards with ease.
The ground beneath him was cobbled stone that was slightly moist. It was a less than perfect battlefield for perfection in the art of evasion, but it made everything he did quicker. There was some slight gravel beneath his feet that made noises as it was crushed beneath his boots and the stone. He slid back, bring NeedlePoint to a fourty-five degree angle to meet with the small foe. The attack the shady creature had just done was its first and last mistake, as it left itself wide open for a deadly blow. His strike was expeditious and precise, his hand becoming nothing more than a blur for the seconds it was thrust downward.
The blow finished the monster of quickly, which allowed Daniel to focus on the rest of his enemies. He had no time for this poppycock, so Daniel had to make this fight quick. With a flick of his open hand and a muttering of a word, the fencer unleashed a quite formidable spell upon the helpless foes. "Magnera!" With that, energy began to collate and suck everything other than Daniel in that was not secured to the ground. This last blow would make quick work of the final pests in his way and Daniel prepared for a strike that would blow away the very shreds of their existence to pieces. Not really, of course, but it was how much energy would be put into the attack that made it seem as such.
"Prepare yourself... Zantetsuken!" Energy formed at the tip of the rapier and, as Daniel quickly rushed forward with all of his might, left nothing of the beasts left. Daniel took a knee and began to take deep breaths. The sheer amount of magic and force put into the two attacks were amazing. It only hurt because Daniel hadn't been practicing in a while. He had been taking a break. Daniel merely sighed after he had taken a quick break and gotten up to brush himself off and continue on his way. These creatures would be a perfect warm up for the young man and these fights were going to become easier and easier with each battle.
