In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

I'm putting this in Common Chatter, because its not only pertaining to the Kingdom Hearts games!
Hi All!
Ever do a video game challenge? Like...a Low Level game, where you're not allowed to exceed Level X? ( X usually being the starting level)
Well...I'm currently doing these...
So far, I've completed the following..
Kingdom Hearts (3):[/u] Low Level Kingdom Key only (Avoid every battle possible, basically) Kingdom Key Only No Magic (Self Explanatory) Kingdom Key Only No items (Again...self explanatory >_<)
Kingdom Hearts 2 (2):[/u] Low Level Kingdom Key Only No Magic (Self Explanatory) Low Level Kingdom Key Only No Abilities, combat or other (Self Explanatory)
Final Fantasy 7 (1)[/u] Cloud Only (Self Explanatory..)
Final Fantasy X (3)[/u] No Sphere Grid Tidus Only (S.E.) No Sphere Grid (S.E.) No Sphere Grid No Customization (S.E.)
Final Fantasy X-2 (4)[/u] Low Level Yuna Gunner Only (S.E.) Low Level Rikku Thief Only (S.E.) Low Level Paine Warrior Only (S.E.) Low Level (S.E.) [Note: These ones...can get insanely hard and frustrating >_<]
And I'm currently making my own challenge for Final Fantasy 8!
The idea for this one is...a Low Level, Squall Only (With some exceptions) Challenge!
The basis with my challenge is this: You are only allowed to use Squall, and he is not to go past his initial level (7). Exceptions to this rule, are The first Mission to Dollet, you just Kill Zell and Squall off, and have Seifer do all the killing, IF Seifer gains a level, its fine, it won't affect the challenge. Another exception is the Boss Battle at the Dollet Communications tower. You're allowed to use Zell and Selphie, but only to heal Squall. If Squall dies, game over, no pheonix downs or any revival magicks (though at this point, thats not even an option O.o). I'm currently playing through with my challenge, and when I'm done, I'm going to write up a FAQ/Walkthrough for it for Gamefaqs!
Anyway, post some of your challenge accomplishments here, and maybe an idea for one for others to attempt! (Note* If anyone has a FFIX challenge that they found extremely difficult, but overall extremely satisfying once you beat the game, post it here! I'm expecting the game to arrive on Monday!)
While I haven't done this, I do consider myself a bit of an FFIX expert, and it occurs to me that one could beat the game using absolutely nothing (including items) except the basic attack option.
I might be interested in starting the Low Level Kingdom Key challenge of KH2, as i wanted to play the game again, but with a challenge imposed. (LOL beating Sephy will be such a pain ) Might omit the part about -no magic- but not sure yet. Bad part is that i have no way to prove what i did. Anyways i might start today and give a progress journal.

...god. Obviously you have to fight in the game but he means regular encounters such as when they just appear, you can run away from that. He means the fights you can't run away from. Orrrrr he means combat abilities
You avoid EVERY avoidable fight for Low Level games. Obviously, there are fights which you CAN NOT avoid, and are required to fight, which makes it the Low Level game.
I can't remember the exact level that you end up as either, I'll see if I still have the save for it though!
Also, some more for my FFVIII SOLLC(WE)
X-ATM092 This is another instance, early in the game, where the Exception to the squall only is made, but it must be followed exactly as these guidelines go. Keep Zell, Selphie, and Squall at their lowest HP possible, while still remaining safe. Use Zell's Armageddon Punch every turn (Limit Break, Booya and Punch Rush repeatedly, does much more damage) Alternate between using Quezacoatl and Renzokuken with Squall, Selphie's Limit break can only be used to cast the three following spells; Wall, The End, Full-cure(IF you're about to die). This only counts for the Battle with X-ATM092 on the Bridge in Dollet, because Gaining AP is...quite hard, when playing a LLG, and you NEED to learn Quezacoatl's Card ability first.
What I did, is set him to learn Boost for the fight with Ifrit, same with Shiva (Who both were Junctioned to Squall), so they immediately learn this, Then set the two of them to learn Card (Quezacoatl) and Ice-Magic Refrain (Shiva), Boost for Ifrit, then Fire-Magic Refrain.
You should have at least 100 Thunders on Squall, equip those to Elem-attk. If you manage to defeat X-ATM092, then you get a whopping 50 AP, which is VERY good.
Upon returning to Balamb (Mission Success!), run back to Garden, first and foremost, to drop off Zell and Selphie, immediately leave Garden, and run along the beach, fighting Fastitocalon-F's (You should have Card, if not, in Two Battles with them, you can gain the required AP to learn it, and Squall SHOULDN'T level, but save, just in case.) Equip Squall with the Card Ability, And remove any Strength enhanced Junctions (Including Elem-attk, just keep these empty for now) Use 4 attacks on them, if they are still underground.
What usually happens here with me, is Two attacks using R1 trigger while they are below ground, they pop up, 1 more R1 attack, and a regular attack without pressing R1, and they are good to Card. If you don't Card on exactly the first try, no worries, just keep trying. Keep yourself above 90 HP.
If you Card them, you don't get EXP, but you DO get AP, which is very helpful, and you'll be doing this with T-Rexaurs as well.
Thats all for the challenge so far...I'm currently doing Card-and-AP farming at the Beach so I can get Thunder and Mid-mag RF, which for a LLG comes in very handy!
And USEFUL TIP!: Try and Keep Squall with a stock of 100 of everything you can. Once he has this, give all of his magic to the other members, and start drawing again! I know this is arduous, but if you Junction good Magic to his Magic slot, such as Esuna, or Double (Which you should have at least 100 of by now) you'll always draw in the high areas.
>_< Sorry it was so long, Just wanted to keep this up to date!

Here's one i want someone to try (i'll do it at a certain point)
Castlevania Symphony of the Night: Low level, hard mode, fists only (no weapon, armor, shield, accessory, and no cloaks/capes), no vlad relics, no spells. Another deity challenge.
And i mean avoiding every combat encounter you can. Bosses only. And full game not just up to Belmont (yes this means you may use the holy glasses to see the green orb.) For those who are wondering the password for Hard mode input this on the name screen X-X!V''Q. That's two ' ' not ". And it's an exclamation mark not an I. What it does is gives you 25 HP and 1 in each stat cept 99 luck (that'll help for criticals at least) but overall you really will have a hard time (currently playing on hard mode) specially with the bosses (no levels). So just recognize the attack patterns and you may have a chance. Also for when you need to avoid an attack that can't be avoided normlaly (i.e. Belmont's Grand Cruz) change into mist.
