In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

A slick, black aircraft landed gracefully on a light gray patch of ground outside of Halloween Town. A shiny black bridge slid out from a side of the ship and a little fat man waddled out, waving around an odd-looking rod. He was afraid of Heartless marching about outside, but fortunately, there were none. Chinzo wiped his brow, then turned around and cried out. "The coast is clear, Jizhu!" Chinzo cried as he turned back around and clanked off the bridge. He put a hand on his hip and one above his eyes, even though it was already dark and gloomy, and looked about.
Chinzo crooned out a beautiful note and, as it floated across the wind, it took a slightly... dark turn. Chinzo nodded happily, smiling. That changing note meant that Halloween Town was still the same, still full of scariness and fear. If that note had stayed the same, that would've meant something was wrong.
Chinzo scanned about with his spellscarred eyes, searching for a large concentration of Darkness. Fortunately, there was none, but right when he was about to look back and call for Jizhu again, a stream of foggy Darkness flowed into being and surrounded him. "Urgh..." Chinzo rolled his eyes. The Heartless seemed to follow him everywhere!
In a trio of purple, blue, and black puffs of Darkness, three Wight Knights(here!) appeared, ready to strike. Chinzo scowled and discharged a buzz of lightning through the air, dropping three Thundara bolts on the Knights. They didn't fall, but they were still hurt.

Jìzhu heard Chinzo calling from outside, saying that there was nothing dangerous outside. "Oh goody." She said to herself as she finished straightening her hair in the bathroom, "I don't want my hair and make-up getting ruined the moment I step off the ship." She wasn't aware of how much she was going to hate saying that.
She distantly heard Chinzo singing a small note and simply letting it float in the air, though for some reason his note seemed to change into a more sinister sounding tune. For a moment she wondered if that was part of what Chinzo had been explaining to her before, about how Halloween Town was all about scariness.
All nice and ready, Jìzhu smiled at herself in the mirror before turning and heading to the exit. As she got to the door and looked outside, gazing upon the creepiness that is Halloween Town for the first time, she heard and saw the Thundara bolts Chinzo was dropping on three Heartless. They merely stumbled however, and didn't fall.
"I thought you said it was clear Chinzo?" Jìzhu said as she headed down the bridge, carefully concentrating a ball of dense air in her hands, all the while trying to make sure she didn't mess up her outfit. After they had gotten off Wonderland, Jìzhu had been really upset to find that her kimono had gotten several stains and cuts in it. She mended it to the best of her abilities, making it almost good as new. She didn't want to have to do that again.
Once at the bottom of the bridge, she let the compressed ball of air fly at the Heartless, hitting the middle one. It exploded, taking out the middle Heartless while knocking the other two off their feet.

Chinzo smiled back at his adventuring companion. "Well, I thought it was clear!" Chinzo said with a laugh. But he instantly turned serious as a Wight Knight came for him and swiped its lanky arm, attempting to gut Chinzo with its sharp, thin claws. Chinzo blasted it back onto the ground, writhing as its wrappings were lit, with a sudden burst of Fire. He smiled down at his handiwork and stomped down on the body, finishing it off with a satisfying crunch and a puff of black mist.
But the other came spinning in, and Chinzo had to act fast. He pulsed out a Fire, but it only succeeded in stopping the Wight Knight's rotation and doing a small amount of damage. Chinzo scowled, and stomped another Thunder-bolt down from the sky. The creature took it full-on, and stumbled about a bit, dazed. But it still had just enough health left to keep its composure. Chinzo sighed, rolled his eyes, and ran forward, sword in hand.
Chinzo sliced the Heartless all the way through its thin ribcage and smiled as it faded away into Darkness. He glanced around for any more attackers, then, seeing none, beckoned for Jizhu to follow him.
"Come, Jizhu - we must enter the town before we get stuck in any adventures like last time, yes?" Chinzo said, chuckling. How very glad he was that that nightmare was over. Some Wonderland!
Chinzo pulled a remote from his pocket, pressed a button on it, and with a beeping noise from the Gummi Ship, it disappeared. It was still there, obviously, but merely cloaked to make sure no blundering beasts might find and ruin it. Then he turned around on his heel and walked in the direction of the city, admiring the eerily beautiful scenery around him. He decided to take pictures of the twisted streetlights, curled hills, glowing ghosts, and of the huge, glowing full moon with a sleek black camera he took from his suit pocket. This place was just too beautiful to forget.

"Well, I thought it was clear!" Chinzo replied with a cheerful laugh, prompting Jìzhu to roll her eyes playfully while he finished off the last two Heartless with fire magic and his sword. Jìzhu noted in her head that fire was particularly effective against these Heartless because their bandages were very flammable.
"Come, Jìzhu - we must enter the town before we get stuck in any adventures like last time, yes?" Chinzo was chuckling as he lead the way to Halloween Town, though Jìzhu didn't find it very funny. She was glad to be done with Wonderland, and felt that she never wanted to set foot there again.
As they went to leave Chinzo turned and activated the security systems, making the ship cloak itself. Though Jìzhu knew how it worked, she was still amazed that such a thing was possible. She was again reminded of how little she knew because of her lost memories.
As Chinzo took out a camera and started taking pictures, a question came to Jìzhu's mind. "Chinzo, why did those Heartless have bandages? I thought Heartless couldn't be harmed in the normal sense?" Jìzhu's even before her amnesia, had no concept of mummies, so she didn't understand the Heartless' appearance.

Chinzo smiled at a wonderful picture he'd taken of a glowing ghost right in front of the overlarge moon, illuminated and only recognizable because of the amber light thrown by nearby street lights, when Jizhu had asked her question.
"Chinzo, why did those Heartless have bandages? I thought Heartless couldn't be harmed in the normal sense?"
Chinzo nodded at her question. "Good question, Jizhu!" Chinzo smiled, excreting his aura of happiness again. "The answer is, I don't really know." Chinzo actually began to wonder that himself. He'd never really thought about it. A fog of confusion wafted out through his aura of happiness. "I suppose... I suppose it's just for the ability to scare its opponents, but it doesn't really work. That's probably why the bandages are real, too, with the same composure as paper, which made it so easy to burn."
Chinzo wondered about it for a short moment more, then pulled an old, black, dusty tome with shiny red words on the front that read, "AN UNABRIDGED DICTIONARY OF HEARTLESS ACROSS THE WORLDS".
Chinzo smiled down at the book, and cast a petty enchantment of levitation on it. It floated over to Jizhu, and right into her hands. "That book right there lists all of the known Heartless across the Worlds, in alphabetical order, with pictures and battle tactics. I learned much from that book." Chinzo then saw a great scene near him as he stood on the top of a small hill, and gasped. He just had to snap a picture, and he did so.
In Chinzo's vision, a large city unfolded across a higher-than-usual-but-still-low valley. It was covered in lights and beautiful, slightly creepy architecture. It was the infamous Halloween Town.
Jìzhu had honestly expected that Chinzo would have found humor in her question, since she was fully aware of how little she knew. But kind, old Chinzo respectfully nodded as he said, "Good question, Jizhu!" before smiling, his usual aura of happiness filling the air once again. "The answer is, I don't really know." He said, much to Jìzhu's surprise. She thought Chinzo knew everything. Confusion seemed to perforate through Chinzo's almost visible aura of happiness as he said, "I suppose... I suppose it's just for the ability to scare its opponents, but it doesn't really work. That's probably why the bandages are real, too, with the same composure as paper, which made it so easy to burn."
To scare people? How in the world does a person covered in bandages scare people? The first thing Jìzhu had thought when she saw them was that they were injured people, and had almost demanded that Chinzo stop attacking them when she saw their emblems, and recognized that they were Heartless. To Jìzhu, pity was the first emotion that would come to mind at the sight of such bandaged creatures.
Suddenly Chinzo pulled out a large tome and floated it into Jìzhu's hands as he said, "That book right there lists all of the known Heartless across the Worlds, in alphabetical order, with pictures and battle tactics. I learned much from that book." Before gasping and snapping away with his camera at another scene.
Jìzhu looked at the tome in her hands. It seemed ancient, dusty and black, with big red letters on it proclaiming its title. Being Chinese, Jìzhu's first language was, you guessed it, Chinese. Before her amnesia though, she had a little knowledge of English that she had picked up from the village traders who went out and got supplies for her village. It had been just a hobby for the old Jìzhu, though it helped greatly for when she arrived in Traverse Town. In the year she had spent with Erik and Monica, Jìzhu's knowledge of spoken English had become almost fluent. However, her knowledge of the written language, was unsteady at best. She slowly read the title out loud to herself, pausing often, to help her understand it. "A-An Una...Unabridged...Dict...tionary...of...Heart...less a...cross the...Worlds?"
Jìzhu suddenly blushed, embarrassed at having such trouble reading the title. He felt like a little child who was learning to read one of those picture books. She hoped that Chinzo had been too busy taking pictures to have noticed her difficulty, though that was unlikely.
Chinzo turned around and smiled at his companion. "Yes, 'An Unabridged Dictionary of Heartless Across the Worlds." he confirmed. "But you'll have time to read it later. Until you have the chance, I'll just tell you about whatever Heartless we see when we see them." Chinzo smiled down at the beautiful city. "But now, you should come up here! The city is just ahead, and it's a beautiful view from up here." Chinzo grinned and beckoned Jizhu over.
"Yes, 'An Unabridged Dictionary of Heartless Across the Worlds." Chinzo confirmed with a smile, not ridiculing Jìzhu at all for her difficulty in reading English. In her mind, Jìzhu made a promise to herself to become as fluent in reading English as she was in speaking it.
"But you'll have time to read it later. Until you have the chance, I'll just tell you about whatever Heartless we see when we see them." Chinzo said, as he looked down at the town. He turned and beckoned Jìzhu over saying, "But now, you should come up here! The city is just ahead, and it's a beautiful view from up here."
Jìzhu hurried up and got next to Chinzo so she could see the town. Her jaw dropped at the sight of it. She felt that even before her amnesia, she had never seen anything like this. Her eyes roamed over the city, taking in everything. The architecture, which seemed like a nightmarish/cartoonish version of Modern-Gothic (which she only knew of thanks to Monica), astounded her, as the scraggly and sprawling buildings didn't seem like they could possibly work.
"It's...amazing." Jìzhu said softly as she gazed at the town, her eyes eventually coming to rest on Dr. Finklestein's observatory on the far side of town. In her mind, she checked off Halloween Town from the list of worlds she was aware of that might be her homeworld. She was quite certain that she couldn't have come from this place.
((Even though I'm not a staffie or anythiiing, I felt the need to post this XD. I highly doubt... there are such things as enciclopedias about the Heartless anywhere in the current Kingdom Hearts universe. I mean sure, it'd be alright if Chinzo had written it himself in his past adventures buut to say such knowledge is available at your local bookstore... for just 9.99... it's not riiight .-.))
((Considering that Jiminy Cricket took notes on all of the Heartless that Sora and Co. ever fought, who's to say that someone didn't take those notes and published a book on Heartless? :3))
((The possibility of such thing happening is highly unlikely, Daemon. First off, not anyone can travel outside their adopted homeworlds and if they manage to do so it would be quite hard and tiresome to go and travel throughout the worlds to gather specific information on every single species of Heartless with detailed pictures and battle techniques. Besides, publishing a book takes some tiime 83.
Gummi Ship traveling has been revealed to general public quite recently and in the games there aren't many non-hostile Gummi Ships flying around. People from Biacchia could have traveled and gathered information on the surrounding worlds' Heartless, but wouldn't that have helped in their war against the Heartless? They would have surely gotten an advantage since they would know all about them.
Like I said before it would be fine if Chinzo had begun writing it in his past travels, expanding his data pool as he traveled further with Jizhu. But to say you have a book with loads of information conveniently lying around without some solid source is kind of... unfair for other people, I guess... who have actually worked roleplaying to get the information.
But feel free to ignore my nagging P:, I just felt like posting since other people also shared my opinion but now I see I'm interrupting your current RP thread XDD))

(No war, they all came in swarms, like, instantly. It took about four hours to take over.
And anywayz, Chinzo hasn't been around much, definetely not enough to write a book, but it's not as though only the Blacchian government wanted to know about Heartles...)
