In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

The cool ocean breezes blew in, rustling the leaves of the tree that Breeze sat in. He sighed, placing his hands behind his head. "Now this is the life." he whispered, biting into the fruit he had bought in the markets. The juice ran down as his face as the sweet taste of the mango assaulted his mouth. He sighed again and looked at the sun, watching the birds fly around. He smiled as he shifted his shoulders around, jumping out of the tree. But, being just a little off balance, he tripped and faceplanted. As he hit, the only thing he thought was I hope nobody saw that.
A joyous laughter rang out from a small distance away. A tanned looking man with pointy ears and the most odd purple outfit that had no shirt had witnessed the fairy boy's fall. "That was a spectacular fall that was!" He said, slapping his knee as he laughed.
Having recently made his way off of Play Island, Akugi was doing a bit of exploring. He had been walking by when he had seen motion in the nearby tree. Curious as ever, he glanced over, watching the odd looking fairy as he fell.
"Hahaha, how could you fall so hard with wings on yer back, eh?" Akugi asked wiping a tear from his eye.

Crystal blinked from a distance as she witnessed the event occur, she couldn't help but giggle slightly, but she was still a little concerned. She had not long changed into her other form, so her legs were in use. Forever smiling, she walked over to the poor young man who had fallen, her turquoise hair blowing in the wind slightly.
"Hey, are you alright?" she chuckled lightly, offering her hand to him so he could get up, she blinked and tilt her head curiously at the wings on his back, her smile widened.
She then heard laughing nearby and saw another laughing, an odd looking man, he looked quite young. Odd, she was surprised that she wasn't scared of this encounter.
Breeze shook his head off as he heard the voices around him. "Oh! Um...you guys saw that?" He blushed a bit, his face turning a light red. "I'm a bit clumsy..." e trailed off as the man mentioned his wings and said, "Yeah, I'm a fae. A sylph, to be exact." He looked up and turned to the girl, saying, "Yeah, I'm okay. Thanks for the concern, but it'll take more than that to hurt me!" He gave a big grin and spyed his hat on the ground a ways from him. He picked it up, dusted it ff and said, "Anyways, the name's Angel, but you can call me Breeze. You guys got names?"
"Akugi Dōkeshi, a Dancer, at yer service friend." Akugi said, with a dramatic bow, the tails of his hat sweeping along the ground. Standing back up he grinned and laughed again before saying, "A Clumsy Fae, I ne'er thought I'd see the day."
He then turned and looked at the girl who had approached. He looked her up and down, checking her out as he said, "And who might you be my fair lass?"
Akugi's hands were lightly resting on his hips as his looked upon the two new people he had met. The thought at the front of his mind was, Will these people be fun? If they couldn't hold his attention, they were soon gonna find Akugi gone. Not that they'd probably mind, Akugi figured, since he tended to pull pranks and such when bored.
Crystal smiled as Breeze got up, it was odd... his name was Angel, yet he liked to be called Breeze, well... those two names didn't seem to have much in common, she guessed it didn't really matter.
"It's nice to meet you both," she said pleasantly, politely bowing to them both "my name's Crystal, an U-..." uh oh, don't wanna slip up there, she didn't mind one person knowing, but she was a little uncomfortable with telling these two strangers "uhm, I'm a resident here, nothing special about me."
She giggled, placing her finger on her cheek, looking at the adorable two, they both had funny hats, she liked that. "So! Don't think I've ever seen you guys before," she smiled, her circlet glinting in the light, the three blue stones encrusted shone along with her eyes as she leaned forward with her hands on her hips, watching them both.
Breeze gave a huge grin as Akugi gave his name in his odd manner of speaking. He then gave a polite smile to Crystal, though he had caught her slip and knew she wasn't saying something. "To answer your question, Crystal, I'm not from around here. I...caught a ride on a Gummi Ship to check this place out. It's pretty nice!" He gave a flourish with his hand, his yo-yo appearing in it. He manipulated it a few times before stopping it. He looked at Crystal with a level stare, but inside he was trying to figure out what was so different about this girl. Then he looked at Akugi and said, "You look like you like a little fun. Would you happen to know anything fun to do around here?" He flung hs yo-yo down a few more times before using his other hand to caiuse it to make a triangle, which te yo-yo swung back and forth through, like a pendulum.
All the while trying to puzzle out the mystery behind these two people.
( I agree with Crimson, this is a good trio! But maybe I'll add more action in a few posts down. Whaddya say to that?)

"It's nice to meet you both," The sweet looking girl began to speak, "My name's Crystal, an U-..."
The girl, Crystal suddenly stopped herself, as if she almost let something slip, quickly correcting herself, "Um, I'm a resident here, nothing special about me."
Akugi raised an eyebrow, suddenly much more interested in this girl. She had almost said something that she didn't want to say. Thus, even if it was small, she had created a mystery. And Akugi just couldn't let a mystery slide away. With a wink, Akugi said, "Ah~, but my fair lass, we are all special in our own way, even if we wish to hide it."
"So! Don't think I've ever seen you guys before,"
Akugi left out a clear laugh at her comment before saying, "Aye, I arrived only recently. I came here from Vana'diel through some black portal a bunch of Beastmen Shaman created. Not the brightest idea I suppose since even they were scared of going through it, but, I couldn't resist the chance to see another world."
"To answer your question, Crystal, I'm not from around here. I...caught a ride on a Gummi Ship to check this place out. It's pretty nice!"
At this Akugi turned back to the Fae boy, once again his curiosity peaked. "A Goomeh, eh? Now whatsa that?"
Akugi had never seen nor heard of Gummi's before, and the fact that it apparently made a ship of some kind made it even more interesting.
"You look like you like a little fun. Would you happen to know anything fun to do around here?"
"Of course I like fun boyo, who doesn't?" Akugi said with a laugh. "Problem is, like I just said, I only arrived recently, so I was just looking for fun myself."
(Action is always good, keeps Akugi entertained)

(Hai! ^-^ Gives me a chance to show off Crystal's abilities a bit more)
Crystal could feel herself becoming quite nervous, thanks to her small... small! slip up, these two were now staring at her, she hoped that they would just let it go, she didn't like people staring at her or adding pressure to her, hopefully they were as friendly as they looked.
When she heard them both talking about how they both got here, Crystal attempted to distract herself, she didn't know these people very well, so she was hardly going to just let something slip like that. It was then something shiny caught her eye in the sand, a pretty pink shell. She smiled as she walked over to it, carrying her bag of asorted pearls, gems, and shells.
"Oh! Another one to add to the collection," she smiled, bending over to pick it up, holding it up in the light, it was a twirling type of shell, almost like a horn, the outer was a soft pink whilst the inside had a rainbow shine. She then looked back at the two, noticed the new object the sylph pulled out. "Ohh! What's that?" she asked, placing her hands on her knees as she leaned forward to get a better look, gazing at it with wonder, her head tilt curiously as she went to poke it once it formed into a triangle.
"Hm? Fun? I like fun," Crystal giggled, flicking some of her hair back, still, she couldn't help but stare at Breeze, he was a Sylph, now... if she knew her history right, they were wind elementals, quite childish, too. So... he was kind of like her, whereas she was a water elemental, serene yet sensitive.
Drifting from reality, Crystal just stared at them both, not noticing any trouble that might've been stirring.
(Alright! One brew of Destiny Islands Heartless, coming right up!)
A smile sneaked onto Breeze's lips as he listened to Crystal distract herself. He had a small hunch on what she was hiding, but kept it to himself. He turned to Akagi, starting to say something, but froze when he saw a dark mist coming towards the trio. "Oh boy." he said, putting his yo-yo in his pocket and pulling his bow from its quiver. "Uh, guys, we've got a bit of a problem." He poined out at the black mist as it began to materialize into beings.
Lots of beings.
Two Darkballs, three Tornado Steps, ten Shadows and two Barrel Spiders appeared from the mist, too far to attack for a while, but still dangerous. Breeze's eyes narrowed and he began to shrink, his bow doing so as well. When he had reached his maximum flying height of a foot, he sped upwards, yelling, "I'll cover from the air!" Three arrows followed, one hitting a Shadow and destroying it, one missing and one glancing a Darkball. He turned to Crystal and said, "Can you watch my back, please?? And Akagi," he said, turning again, "do whatever you can!"

Akugi watched as Crystal was checking out a shell. Since Breeze had already explained what he was, Akugi wasn't as interested in him anymore. The girl however was hiding something, making her mysterious. At that point as she looked at the shell, Akugi noticed her bag, and could hear a light jingle, implying a collection of sorts.
"Oh! Another one to add to the collection," He heard her say. Akugi grinned, she was cute, for a Hume anyway. Suddenly, pointing at Breeze she said, "Ohh! What's that?"
Akugi looked back over at Breeze, noticing for the first time his little toy. My oh my, now that was an interesting trinket. For a moment he was so enraptured by the novelty of the object, he missed Crystal's comment about liking fun as well.
"Oh boy." The Fae suddenly said, snapping Akugi out of his wonder. The Fae put away his toy and pulled out his bow before pointing at something saying, "Uh, guys, we've got a bit of a problem."
Akugi's eyes followed the Fae's finger, only then noticing the black mist approaching. A bemused expression on his face, he merely said, "Would ya look at that."
When the mist turned into Heartless, Akugi let out a surprised laugh. He had never seen Heartless before, and the way they appeared was joyously entertaining to Akugi, if simply because of how new it was. "My word, now that's new. What are the little fellers?"
Akugi turned to Breeze for the answer to his question, just in time to watch him shrink down to about a foot in height before soaring skywards saying, "I'll cover from the air!"
"I see that." Akugi said, a grin spreading across his face. Akugi only had the smallest bit of knowledge about Faes and knew nothing about Elementals such as Sylphs, so everything the little guy was doing was new to Akugi. The Fae suddenly let a few arrows fly, popping one of the smaller creatures into black mist and nicking a bigger one.
Akugi had no experience with Heartless, and not knowing of their natures, he couldn't help but wonder if that was completely necessary. Even the Beastmen of Vana'diel could be reasoned with if you could get them to hold for a couple seconds.
"Can you watch my back, please?" The Sylph asked of Crystal before turning back to Akugi and before continuing, "And Akagi, do whatever you can!"
"Ya don't even know if the lass can fight and yer asking her to help?" Akugi asked Breeze before turning to Crystal and saying, "Can ye fight lass?"
Before Crystal could answer however, a Tornado step jumped up, attacking Akugi from behind with a propeller attack. His pointy Elvaan ears twitched, alerting him of the sounds of the creatures attack. Akugi spun on the spot, a grin on his face again as he gracefully dodged the creature's attack in a dance like motion. Continuing with the spin, Akugi did a quickstep, kicking the Heartless away. The Heartless stumbled, Dazed from Akugi's kick and its movement became sluggish.
"Meh, if I have to, I have to, eh? Time to Samba!" Akugi said, bringing up his hands to clap twice, getting himself ready to dance. He doubted that either of the others were going to get hurt, especially Breeze since he seemed like he was going to spend his time flying out of reach. And if Crystal turned out to be a non-combatant, then she'd just stay out of the way, maybe run off if she got scared. Figuring that, Akugi decided to prepare himself for the Aspir Samba instead of the Drain one, so that they'd have plenty of magical energy for whatever tricks they might have. The flashier the better.
((The clapping is Akugi getting himself in the mindset for the Samba, it won't start until my next post and that's when the 5 post countdown begins as well as you two getting the buffs associated with it. When the Samba begins your regular attacks will gain a drain and daze effect. You will stun the Heartless with successful hits as well as recover mental energy, or MP, or MP equivalents))

Crystal blinked at Breeze's words, she then followed his gaze, her eyes widened at what she saw. It was them again? The creatures she fought with Demyx before, she didn't know what they were exactly, but it was obvious that they meant trouble, just looking at them gave her the creeps.
She nodded as Breeze took to the skies and began to fire arrows at the enemy, however, she wasn't all too happy with what Akugi had to say. What exactly was that supposed to mean? Quite blunt and rude, that's what she thought. But, enough of this, she simply stepped forward and called for her weapon.
"Aquarius," and with that her oddly shaped spear appeared in a watery burst, luckily the water couldn't touch her. She grasped her weapon with both hands, twirling it by her sides for a few seconds before stancing and pointed the blade at the Heartless, she decided to take on all Shadows by herself, a part of her wanted Akugi's jaw to drop. Well, there was no harm in having fun.
"Kyaah!" she cried as darted towards the nine remaining Shadows, they were small and very quick, despite their confused demenours, she'd dodge them when they'd sink into the ground and attack, though every time they leapt up to claw her, that's when she would attack, thrusting her spear into them so that they'd disappear into clouds of black.
Four down, five more to go. Suddenly, she was caught off guard as a Dark Ball came shooting towards her like a pinball, she was quicker though as she jumped and twisted her body over it, the Heartless suddenly halted and looked to see where she had gone, but once it saw her, she had used the side of her spear as a baseball bat and knocked it into the Barrel Spiders, though they didn't disappear.
She decided to focus back to the Shadows, though quite exhasperatingly, they kept sinking into the ground so she couldn't reach them. Cowards. She placed her weapon on her back as she placed her thumbs and index fingers together in the shape of a circle and blew into it.
Quite soon, a rather large bubble blew out of the circle and floated above the Shadows, the large bubble then popped into several smaller ones and immediately locked onto the Shadows and headed straight for them. Despite the Shadows hiding in the ground, there was no escaping the bubble bombs.
Once they all touched their targets, they exploded on impact, creating one giant cloud of black.
Throughout the whole of the battle, Crystal avoided all contact with the water.
(Oh, by the way, this is Crystal's fighting style. Beep!)

Breeze, throughout the beginning of this whole battle, used his bow to fire at Heartless, injuring them so the others could finish them. But soon he ran into a problem.
He had run out of arrows. "Damn." he whispered, putting his bow in his quiver. He could use wind arrows, but he wanted to save the mana. Instead, he took his fanblades out and spread them open, locking them in place. The razor sharp points gleamed as he shot down at the Heartless, swinging and hitting a Darkball on his way past it. He then threw one of his fanblades at a Barrel Spider, using his air manipulation to hold it steady. It struck and caused the Spider to explode, also taking out a Tornado Step. With a gesture, the fan returned to his hand like an obedient falcon. Smiling, he began charging his mana for his next action.
Out of the corner of his eye Akugi saw the girl summon a spear into her hand in a burst of water. Good, she won't be useless then. He thought to himself. He watched as the girl tore into the odd creatures, all the while preparing himself to Dance his Samba. She seemed to have a knack for manipulating water, judging by her odd little bubble bombs that finished off all of the small ones.
Looking up he also saw the Fae running out of arrows and switching to melee weapons for some reason. Akugi wondered for a moment why he did create arrows of wind, unless the stories he heard about Wind Elementals were false. Or maybe, he had a limited Mana supply, and wished to save on it. Or he was already out completely.
"In nary a momen' I'll be Dancing a Samba, friend. And you will feel your magical energies returning, if that be why ye don't use yer Wind Arrows." Akugi said as he started tapping his foot to a beat only he could hear, beginning the Samba. He lightly clapped his hands to the beat as well, making an audible and pleasant rhythm. A light glow enveloped Breeze's blades and his bow, as well as Crystal's spear.
At that point the two remaining Tornado Steps and a Darkball rushed forward to attack Akugi. With a grin on his face and laugh on his lips, the boy leaped up, dodging the Tornado Steps' attacks and landing on top of the Darkball, in a handstand, using a just the one hand, while his unoccupied feet started to clap, to keep the beat.. A wide, mischievous grin crossed the Jester's face as he used his one hand to launch himself about a foot upwards, spinning so that he landed on his feet, twisted, and then stomped on the confused Heartless's head, making it fall to the ground and exploding into Dark Mists.
The two Tornado Steps attacked again, one after the other. Akugi merely dodged the first, and quickstepped into the other, knocking it aside again and stunning it. Finding a pause in the battle, Akugi began tapping his feet and clapping again, keeping the beat going, though, Akugi had timed each of his attacks and motions around the beat
