In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

The gummi ride had been the most extraordinary thing Nyra had ever experienced. They had flown across the galaxy at breathtaking speeds before reaching a 'lock', as Zetsu informed her it was called. The mage had mentioned this particular one to be the 'Assault of the Dreadnought'. Upon breaching it they met flocks of strange geometrical shapes and enemies, blasting a few with the ship's lazers, though for the most part being left alone. A while later and she caught her first glimpse of Twilight Town.
She'd never seen a world from above. Eyes wide, Nyra took in everything with awe as they flew towards the center, watching a bustling train loop around the town and the hands of a clock tick from a protruding bell tower. A heartbeat later and they had landed among the peaceful houses of a neighborhood. Nyra was left blinking, wondering if she had imagined the entire out-of-body experience of seeing the world from the outside.
As they clambered out of the ship a little blonde boy approached them, beaming. "Newcomers!" he said excitedly. He looked happy and a tad scruffy. "Market Street is over that way, by the way, people can help you out o'er there," he pointed with a stick he was carrying. Then he skipped off to rejoin his friends, satisfied with his deed of good citizenship.
Nyra exchanged glances with Zetsu and shrugged. "Well, how about it? They can help us find a place to practice. I bet you're impatient to 'give me hell' with this training, as you said," she teased with a grin.
She already liked this world. All the houses were bathed in a twilight glow, and the sky was alive with fiery colors. Nyra had a feeling the sense of afternoon was perpetual here.

Zetsu's eyes were wide open as they landed. He looked up and was scared half-to death. 'The sky's blue?' he thought. It didn't make sense to him. Does that mean depending on the world the sky will be different?
He wasn't really paying attention to the talking boy. Zetsu was taking in his surroundings. He could see this was great for training, or his kind any way. He exchanged glances, then she asked him a question. I actually am, but I want to find out if they have meat on this world. Traverse town had no animals at all." A grin spread on his face. meat will give him endless strength.
(I'm opening the thread so others can join too. ;])
"Is the sky being blue a wierd thing?" Nyra asked. What other color would it be? She hadn't noticed the sky in Traverse Town as much, since apart from the many more stars it just resembled a night sky in Tamara.
He wanted to find meat. She wanted to talk to the locals. "Okay, then! We'll head over to where the boy said. If you were listening, that is."
Ten minutes later and they entered the quiet Market Place of Twilight Town. The area was peaceful, quiet, and she hadn't yet seen a heartless so far. "Let's split up," she told Zetsu. "This place will take too long to explore on our own. You go that way, I'll go this way, meet up here again in a half hour?" Nyra wanted to learn about this world. They had spent to little time in Traverse Town for her to learn about it, but she hoped that they'd stay in this one for at least a couple of days. She had no idea what Zetsu had in mind for training.
Zetsu still was amazed by the sky color, but he still agreed to split up. "Half an hour is good enough."He said.
Walking around the place for ten minutes all he could see was ice cream and fruits. What's up with that? The only useful thing he could find was a bag of sweets. Which he bought happily. This world seemed too peaceful. Not what he was use too. This peace and boredom will make him go mad!
He sat on top of a roof top and started doing some morning exercise while injoying his sweets.
Nyra took off the moment Zetsu agreed to her plan.
She raced around her side of the area, examining the bulletin boards and talking with the shop keepers. The economy here was strange to her. She noted with curiosity the kind of jobs people paid others to do for them, wondering if she'd have any energy left between Zetsu's training sessions to earn some extra munny.
After twenty minutes of chatting with the locals, Nyra had learned more of Twilight Town's geography, and set to expanding her mental map. She'd have to tell Zetsu about Sandlot. It seemed like a place he'd want to go to train. She also learned of some of the town's 'Wonders', the Clock Tower, and sea-salt ice cream. . . the latter she was generously gifted with by a kind-faced store owner.
Content, Nyra made her way back to Zetsu. Upon finding him she handed off the second ice cream stick and related all the things she learned. ". . . and I almost got run over by that tram. I didn't see it - the thing scared the crap out of me!," she finished, lounging on the roof where she had found her companion. She shifted so that she could look at him properly, hoisting her weight on one elbow and holding the ice cream in the other."So what about you? I doubt you even did something productive."
She laughed. Nyra wondered if it was possible to feel more relaxed than she did right then.
Zetsu was happy to see she didn't take time. When she handed him the ice cream he said his thanks and ate it up in less then 2 minutes, so he could continue his training. He continued to train while Nyra went on talking. For some reason this reminded him of something. What? He did non know.
He knew that training is what they came here to do but for now it's just talking. "So what exactly do you want to learn? Magic? A new fighting style? It's really ur choice" Zetsu asked while training.
"Well yeah, magic is definitely up there. I also wanna get better at sword fighting. This thing is a piece of crap," Nyra glanced down at Nocturne as it hung at her waist, "so I need the skill to make up for it."
Nyra had her own fighting style. She wanted to integrate the new skills into her current method of street combat. Even if she wanted to, letting her childhood techniques go wouldn't be easy.
"But it's kinda a strange question for me, all things considered. I don't entirely know what I need, or all the things I can learn, so asking me what I want to learn might not cover a lot. If that made any sense." She was new here, after all. For all she knew there could be a tradition about fighting with your toes.
"But I do need to get stronger in general, too. Not much use learning magic and stuff if all I can do is knock somebody over." Like my aero, the fat lot of good it did me. The only thing she really had on her side was speed.

Nyra had been releasing her long hair from its retainer when she spotted the shift in her peripheral vision. She managed to duck and roll without a moment to spare, and in a rush of air was on her feet and ten feet away from where she had been lounging, hands on Nocturne's hilt. "Hey!" she said, not particularly annoyed, despite the fact that his sword had been a breath away from her neck. "You could've killed me there."
As she reached up to put her hair back into its thick band, Nyra noted the fact that she had dodged again, not tried to block or return the blow. The instinct was to her like a bird taking flight when a stone is thrown at its nest, and she wondered briefly if she would have to try to break the habit during training.
Hair secure, Nyra unsheathed Nocturne and stood with it pointed towards at Zetsu. The height of the rooftop had increased her adrenaline.
Zetsu was impressed at how she dodged but didn't show it. Her speed was actually fast and her agility is plain magnificent. Although with that speed and agility a katana is totally not the weapon; or so he thought. "Let's see what you can do against this!" It was a new technique that he had never tried before. It's just perfect for testing her abilities.
He stabbed 2 sword in the floor and threw two very high in the air, jumping with a separate one in his hand still leaving 1 sheathed.
"How many swords do you freaking have?!" Nyra exclaimed, leaping back at the flurry of Zetsu's blades. She was confused. What good did a sword do on the floor? She was well out way of the two in the air's flight path, and he had left one of his weapons still sheathed. In actuality there was only one blade she had to match. She was sure he had another intention, but couldn't figure it out for the life of her what it was.
Nevertheless, Nyra quickly drew Nocturne and took a few extra steps back for good measure, her cat-like eyes tracking Zetsu's trajectory as he flew through the air. If he landed as to be expected by his leap then they'd clash swords. Nyra was determined to hold her ground this time, and see how she did. Her expectations weren't high - she had never fought this way before, and Zetsu's blades were perplexing her.

Zetsu was really enjoying this! He knew she was thinking he was planning to clash with her sword but that was just a trick. Instead, he dashed upwards towards his aerial swords. The one on his hand was in his mouth and the ones in the air in his hands. Zetsu was falling down like a meteor. Even though this was training and this is not how your suppose to think in the battle field. He wished upon wishes that she would have the sense to dodge the attack.
Suddenly Zetsu was wielding three swords, had changed his trajectory, was falling too quickly for Nyra to think . . . she couldn't hold Nocturne against three blades, she had to dodge again . . .
And then she realized with a jolt that one of her feet hadn't found a purchase when she had leaped back. Oh yeah. . . I was on the roof. In that moment she had forgotten - and now she was slipping.
Thinking fast, Nyra took advantage of her momentum and pushed powerfully with her leg, leaping from the roof with adrenaline pulsing rapidly through her veins. Upon landing she rolled to lessen the shock and struggled to her feet, winded. She cursed under her breath and picked up Nocturne - she thankfully had had the foresight to throw to the katana to the side while falling to avoid impaling herself.
Dodging again. She was getting tired of it.
Panting, Nyra leapt onto a nearby crate and then back up to the roof, not hesitating before racing towards Zetsu with Nocturne bared in front of her chest.
