Time for Hell (Complete)

Zetsu had already landed. She was real fast and agile. She could use this to her advantage but she doesn't. What he hoped would happen was she only dodges his attacks by a foot or two. This was risky but the end result would be a severe injury. Zetsu was leaving himself opened without her knowing it. For his next attack he was sure she could pass the test. All she needs to do is scratch him.

He's gonna try another technique. Zetsu seethed his swords and grew sharp diamond at the end of his elbows and also covering the rest of his arms. "Make sure you don't make a mistake, I won't hesitate to kill you!

Brain working quickly as she ran closer, Nyra reasoned that the diamond around Zetsu's arms were bound to slow him down. She wasn't sure if he could shoot shards, however, so she'd couldn't underestimate his range. Nyra decided to wing a feint.

Just before coming in range of his arms, she leaped to the side, small gusts of aero assisting her legs, twisted, and swung Nocturne at his back. If he blocked it - which she figured he would - she'd try her luck at close combat.

Zetsu was impressed she thought of such an idea. He could dodge this attack but he was getting kinda hungry so he didn't want it to continue. The blade she called Nocture cut him on the back. The pain was surprisingly small. What was with this blade? Is it blunt or something. Zetsu grinned and gave Nyra a thumbs up "Training 1 complete." He announced

Nyra leaped back as soon as she felt resistance to her blade, repositioning for another attack - and then she stopped. A small line of blood had appeared on Zetsu's back. She looked confusedly at the katana, then back at him. Wait, what?

Oh. So she had hit him. At his thumbs up, Nyra rolled her eyes and returned Nocturne to its sheath. Zetsu hadn't bothered to block on purpose.

She took advantage of the lapse in their training and sat down on the roof to catch her breath. Despite the snacks she had eaten earlier, Nyra's sugar energy had already burned through and the first tinges of hunger were beginning in her stomach. She ignored them, for once a bit annoyed at her high metabolism.

"So now what?" she asked, hands clasped around her knees as she surveyed the town.

((Just a note, I have another thread with Nyra during her 'break from training', which takes place after this one. But after that she's going to notice the smoke from the Ulysses crashes and join the Atlantis team, so she'll feel bad but won't be returning to Zetsu for the rest of her training.

You can have him tag along, or wait until the Atlantis plot is over. Nyra will be back and searching for her mentor again after it! ;]

We can still continue this thread, and end it with Nyra and Zetsu taking a break. ))

Zetsu was satisfied now. She was actually able grow waaay stronger. All she needed was a little push. "We'll take a break for now look for me when you want to resume training. If u wish to leave this world u may. I'll stay here for a maximum of 6 months n I'll be off." Zetsu told nyra. "Good luck" And with that and a big grin....he vanished.

Nyra stood there for a minute after Zetsu vanished, dumbfounded. She could. . . leave the world? Suddenly she found herself alone on the rooftop, bathed in the red glow of a Twilight Town sunset, a rising sense of excitement growing within her. She supposed she should have felt overwhelmed, left on a foreign world without her guide; but she wasn't. Not in the least.

Rather, Nyra was already on her feet and hopping down from the rooftop, feeling light and a bit devious. She knew she'd come find Zetsu again, but not for a while. She was ready now to start her own little adventure. And if that was going to happen without him, then so be it.
