In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Kovu wandered around the tip of Pride Rock, looking out upon the vast savannah. What was he looking for? None other then Kiara, the lioness whom he married. He was haunted by the words of the two imps that he head met, but tried to get them out of his head. He still wanted to know the truth on if Simba had really taken her away to keep her from Kovu. Why he would was beyond the dark lion's sight, but he still had to get to the bottom of it.
To make matters worse, Kovu was left there, along. Nala, Kiara, and Simba were missing, which left Kovu, the prince, to be in charge. Until they came back, he had to lead the lions and lionesses, and some of them were still very distrusting of Kovu. He needed Kiara back. Without her, he may not be able to control them. They may at some point turn on him and attack him. A small dark aura arose from Kovu at these thoughts. A nudge from another lioness snapped him out of it. She said what she saw and asked if things were fine. Kovu told her yes before continuing his pace.
Someone had said they had spotted Nala before, but when he looked to where she was, he couldn't find her. Even Nala would be better then nobody. But until the time that he found anyone else in the Royal family of Pride Rock, Kovu was left alone, and afraid. He was raised to be in charge, but when the position of power finally got to him... He wasn't ready, and was afraid of what would happen. He finally sighed and his head pointed down with eyes closed.
"Simba.... Nala......... Kiara... Where are you?"
A young lioness was laying on the very top of the giant rock in the middle of the vast savanna. Her beautiful golden coat sparkled in the bright rays of the African sun. She closed her eyes, purring, and rolled onto her back, paws in the air.
The weather today was absolutely perfect. There was a slight breeze coming in from the east and very few white puffy clouds dotted the sky. The lioness's tail flicked back and forth as she took in the warmth and happiness the sun was bringing her.
Her ears twitched and she began to feel butterflies fluttering in her stomach. Something about this day did seem a bit off. She turned back over onto her stomach and peered out beyond the grasses. Everything around her was very quiet. She spotted a small herd of zebra near the waterhole, but she could not spot anyone else around Pride Rock.
Slightly confused, Kiara pushed herself up until she was standing on all four paws. She walked to the edge of Pride Rock and looked down. Nothing. It was very strange for there to be no activity around the King's "palace". Where were her father and mother? Where was her Prince, who would soon become her king?
Kiara sighed and began walking down toward the dens.

Kovu was still walking around, trying to find the lion and lionesses that were a part of the royal line. Simba had not been heard from, Nala had been seen, but he couldn't find her, and Kiara... Someone had told him that Simba took her away and hid her as he wasn't trusted yet. So he was slightly bummed as he walked back to the tip of Pride Rock. However, when he finally got back in sight of the Tip of the rock, he saw a familiar lion with a golden coat. It was his wife... It was Kiara. The rumors of her disappearance had now been disproved.
"Kiara!" Yelled Kovu as he ran over to the princess of Pride Rock. Provided she allowed it, he would nuzzle her, happy to finally see her. He couldn't imagine that he had finally found her after all this time. "Where have you been, Kiara? I've been looking for you everywhere. I was worried... I was told that you had been kidnapped..." He continued, the sadness very prominent in his voice. Kiara would be able to tell how sad he was from the look on his face and the tone he was using. He was just worried and didn't like to be that way. He was also angry at Simba. Kovu knew that he had taken Kiara, but she was just too smart. She got away from her father. Maybe Kovu would take Kiara away himself. Start their own pride and forget this one... But... He felt that she would never go for that. Perhaps some explaination would help...
Just before Kiara reached the mouth of the dens, she heard a very familiar roar coming from just behind her. She stopped dead in her tracks as the sounds reached her ears and swiftly, she turned to meet the prince.
"Kovu!" A loving and excited expression lit up her face and she affectionately bumped heads with her husband. He wasn't gone...he was still here. Her father had lied once again. She felt a slight amount of rage build in chest as she touched her nose to Kovu's. How could Simba lie to her again? Hadn't Kovu proven himself over and over again a trustworthy lion? What more could the young prince do?
"My father took me..." she said in a angry tone mixed with sadness. "He told me you weren't to be trusted and that you had left. He insisted that I go hunting to keep my mind off it, but instead of taking me to the usual hunting grounds, he took me to the border of the Pride Lands. I got suspicious so I snuck to find you. Whats going on?"

Kovu growled with rage. So the rumors were true after all. Simba had taken her away because he didn't trust Kovu. He didn't know what he had done this time, but clearly Simba thought he had, and that the uniting of the families wasn't truly complete. He wanted to find Simba, to get the the bottom of this, but he would have to do it away from Kiara. He didn't want to make her mad. He let the growl go as he sighed. Kiara was here and worried. Kovu had to explain things that he had heard.
"Thats exactly what I had heard. I was told that Simba took you away because I wasn't to be trusted. On top of that, your mother was missing. Someone said they saw her, but I couldn't find her. I had been so worried about you, and hoped that the rumors were not true..." He said, the sadness mixed with rage could be heard in his voice as he said this. But he tried to control it. He didn't want the dark aura to appear around him like the one lioness saw and told him about. He knew that if Kiara saw it, she would be even more worried, for both him and her father. So he had to control it. He had to keep calm... For her sake if not for anything else.
Kiara backed away from Kovu so she could look him straight in the eyes. Worry was apparent in her eyes, so she shut them momentarily before speaking. "Who's been telling you all of this? Have you spoken to my father?"
Why was everyone around her disappearing? It just didn't make any sense. She could have sworn that she saw her mother earlier hunting in the tall grasses, but that could have easily been another lioness. She slowly laid down on the rock and let out a heavy sigh. She felt a little tension coming from Kovu as if he wasn't telling her everything, but she decided to ignore it. If something else was going on, he would tell her. What was going on?

Kovu was taken aback by her sudden step backward and the worry in her eyes was easily seen. He hope that she wasn't worrying too much, but it was misplaced Hope. He knew for a fact that she worried far more then he did, and he wasn't sure what he could do about it. He sighed again at her questioning. Her father? Why would he have talked to her father? He was told that he wasn't to be trusted by her father, so how could he have talked to him?
"One of the lionesses told me that, and it was Vitani who told me that she saw Nala. But no, I haven't spoken to your father. Ever since he took you away, I haven't seen or spoken to you, him, or your mother. I've been so worried. With you gone, it basically left me in charge, and I have a feeling that hardly none of the lionesses here care to trust me... And I felt that they would turn on me if I tried to make any decision..."
Kovu wasn't sure what else to say. He waited to see what Kiara would say to all this, but he hoped that she would be understanding. She had stuck by his side when no one else did. And that much said to Kovu that she would be understanding. But it was a matter of time to show whether or not she would or would not.
