In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Age: Old. Disney Castle's inhabitants seem to age incredibly well.
Gender: Male.
Species: Dog with human traits.
Position: Good.
Powers: Goofy has a few known abilities such as rocketing into the air at heights and speeds exceeding what he should be able to jump with, charging through enemies he shouldn't be able to knock over without being stopped, or spinning around and maneuvering himself while doing so without actually using his feet to guide his body, even hovering through the air like a helicopter as a result or creating a vacuum effect to suck in and trap enemies as he spins. Goofy can throw his shields and have them fly or bounce in odds ways before returning to his hand every time, or even ride them like skateboards even without a running start, though usually also without any conscious control of where he might start zipping around. Odd reactions to being attacked or struck aren't an uncommon sight from Goofy either, such as bouncing unrealistically off the floor or walls or dodging hostile attacks in unexpected, possibly impossible, ways. They all do however, more often than not, look rather silly in hindsight.
-Cosmo Boost- Goofy's most powerful teamwork attack. One of his friends holds him up over their shoulder like a javelin to be thrown while he holds his shield out in front of him. Goofy is launched forward and he takes off like a rocket. He causes a huge amount of damage to anything he smashes into. As this move is born from Goofy and his ally adding their power together, the Cosmo Boost is known to be able to deal full damage even through defences such as armour or magical barriers.
-Tornado- Goofy's body spins around wildly, dealing damage to numerous opponants. Physical attacks cannot harm Goofy while using this ability, as it will just deal damage back instead, but powerful magic attacks can knock him out of his combo if they connect.
-Trinity Limit- This ability, of course, cannot be acheived without Sora and Donald (thus the 'trinity' in the name). Sora will execute a few powerful flips and leaps, which later does a back somersault, plant his Keyblade into the ground, summon a large energy wave, crushing all enemy down within the area.
-Words of Power- Okay, so this may not be an ability as such, but Goofy's just so awesome I have to put this here. Phrases and words said while in battle: "Sora!" "Don't give up!" "Help!" "Com'on!" "Somebody, come quick!" "AHHH!" "Take that!" "O!" "Donald!"
Weapon: -Knight's Shelid- Goofy's trusty shield which he has brought with him on all his adventures. It's large enough to guard against most attacks but it's smooth surface makes for a non-lethal attack weapon should Goofy be forced to fight back. The shield is grey with yellow rings along the rim and about a quarter in towards the center. The shield also has three black circles on it which seem to show the royal seal of the King, each one also framed in a yellow ring.
Appearance: Goofy, whom is very thin, stands at about 5"6 with black hair and eyes. He has several styles of clothing, but usually wears two long brown shoes for his feet, a pair of simple blue slacks and a long-sleeved orange shirt make up the majority of his look. Goofy also adds two white gloves for his hands, a simply yellow vest that doesn't come together in the front, and a tall, limp green hat with a black stripe across it's center.
Goofy also has another set of clothes, which were conjured up by the magic of his best friend, Donald Duck. These clothes were meant to act as his disguise while traveling other worlds so that they could blend into the crowd a little more. Filled with many pockets for holding items and random zippers, this attire is a little complex. The shoes are long, floppy, and brown, with white toes and light tan rims. He wears baggy yellow pants with a large black belt and white metal buckle. The pants have brown straps coming out from under the front of the cuffs and latch up above the ends. He also wears a green turtle-neck with thin, vertical black stripes. The shirt sleeves have similar blue straps coming out and pinning to the outside of the sleeves, though the blue ones also seem to have an arrow-like shape to them. Like his casual attire Goofy's traveling clothes sport a vest, this one black with a zipper that isn't used and several chunky pockets here and there. He also has a hat much like his normal one, this one orange. Below the black part is a pair of goggles, tied around the base of the hat by a brown strap, the lenses surrounded by a red lining. As usual Goofy also wears a pair of white gloves on his hands.
Of course, while on duty as the Captain of King Mickey's knights, Goofy always wears his armour. It consists of a several pieces of silver metal parts, namely a thin helmet that cannot actually contain Goofy's face and is worn as a hat instead, a shoulder pad, gauntlet and armoured glove all for his left arm only, a bangle for his right upper arm, and two excessively large, pointed metal shoes. His body is covered with a suit of thick and mainly orange material with grey bottoms to his pant legs and an area of blue covered the left side of his upper torso. It also has a yellow collar. A large metal belt covers his waist. Goofy also has a white glove on his right hand. There is chain mail worn underneath the parts of Goofy's armour that clearly aren't armour at all.
He has black hair over his lanky body and thin arms and legs, not showing much in the way of muscle no matter where one might look. His long muzzle is bare and comes out from his face right below his large white and black-pupil eyes, with his black nose resting at the end. Goofy's two separated buck teeth are easy to notice coming down from the bottom of his upper gums. His ears are long, thin and droopy, coming down the sides of his head without standing up at all.
While traveling the worlds Goofy has also been known to take on several other shapes or appearances in order to blend in, usually thanks to Donald's magic. While underwater in Atlantica, he becomes a turtle with a blue shell and orange underbelly, while retaining his head and gaining his favourite green hat. In Halloween Town (where the graphics are at best) Goofy's costume is one of a zombie-like Frankenstein monster, complete with dirty, tattered, ripped and patchy clothes, disheveled hair, clawed nails, a tiny jack-o-lantern for a nose and a large screw bolted into the top of his head in place of a hat. His eyes also change, the left turning red and the right becoming a spiraled line. This costume is one of the few times Goofy has hands but doesn't wear gloves. In the computer world of Space Paranoids Goofy takes on the appearance of a program, his body turning solid grey all over where he would normally wear clothes with glowing blue lines in coded patterns all around it. Lastly, in the Pride Lands, Goofy talks to the animals by being transformed into a tortoise, not too unlike his turtle form. This one bears a large, spherical yellow shell and green underbelly. Much like the turtle transformation Goofy's favourite green hat also appears in this form.
Personality: Goofy is one of the friendliest, easy-to-love guys around. He doesn't talk too much, he doesn't lie or insult people when he does speak, and he almost always stays positive and optimistic despite what bad things might be going on. Unfortunately sometimes Goofy is too honest or too laid back for others to take him seriously, but Goofy holds all of his friends dear. This is especially true for Donald Duck and Sora, and you won't find anyone more loyal to King Mickey and Queen Minnie than this dog. The only time he would go against an order from King Mickey is if he would be doing so for the sake of a friend (and he tries to think that Mickey would want that anyway). He is very protective of others and won't hesitate to throw himself into danger just to help or save them, especially since he is prone to giving out faith and trust very quickly. He thinks of new acquaintances as friends (unless they've already harmed one of his current friends) even if they might take a bit longer to fully warm up to him.
However, no one's perfect and Goofy is rather clumsy and isn't at all unfamiliar with the feeling of getting bumped on the head. Goofy is also easily swayed by the opinions of his friends, especially a certain pushy duck, even when he might have different ideas of his own. He doesn't like arguments or disagreements so he sometimes lets others have their word count in more than his, but if he hears something he knows is wrong you can bet the knight won't stand down. Goofy's easygoing and fairly submissive attitude often has people write him off as simple-minded, but he has a knack for noticing important things that can be easily overlooked since he doesn't over think anything and similarly he is able to do what he believes is right without fearing the potential negative consequences that could follow.
Despite both his occupation and the adventures that made him a hero, Goofy still dislikes fighting and especially despises weapons. It is because of this that he carries only a shield for self-defence despite being the Captain of King Mickey's knights. When he knows it is necessary, however, he'll never complain about what has to be done. What you might get to see instead is him charging across a battle ground with his shield out in front and one hand covering his eyes, just so he doesn't have to see any violence going on. On the battlefield Goofy will always be thinking of how to protect his allies from their enemies first, and let the others worry about how to defeat them. Naturally Goofy's second point of focus is the health of himself and his friends, always trying to make sure they're strong and energized for battles. Actually fighting the enemy comes last for Goofy, but when he does it's usually in a way to support the skills of his allies rather than a solo effort.
History/Background: Goofy spent his many peaceful days in service to King Mickey of Disney Castle as the Captain of the Royal Knights. One day, however, his best friend Donald the court magician approached him with startling news: The King had vanished and left them instructions on what must be done to save the universe! With a chronicler by the name of Jimminy Cricket supplied by Queen Minnie and two Gummi Ship engineers named Chip and Dale, Goofy and Donald set out for a world called Traverse Town to find a man named Leon spoken of in the King's letter. Supposedly he was to help them find the "key to their survival" that the King wanted them to protect.
In Traverse Town Goofy and Donald had no luck finding Leon, but one of his friends named Aerith ended up finding them instead. She explained about the terrible monsters known as the Heartless and of the researcher Ansem who once studied them. She was about to take them to see Leon but when the Heartless suddenly attacked Goofy and Donald were left to fend for themselves in the chaos. They somehow made their way to a platform overlooking the town's Third District but were surrounded by the black creatures. Donald decided to stand and fight, but underestimated their available space and the mage's own fire spell exploded in their faces, sending them falling to the ground below, right on top of a boy named Sora. As the duo came to their senses they realized that their landing cushion wielded the very Key the King had told them to find and stick with. Together the three of them joined forces to defeat a powerful Heartless that was attacking Sora because of the Keyblade. After convincing him that their vessel could help him search other worlds for his missing friends as well as their King the three banded together, forming a bond that would be put through many trials and tests.
The trio's travels across the world brought many battles as well as many revelations about the Heartless and Sora's Keyblade. On the world of Wonderland Goofy had his first adventures trying to simultaneously protect the secret of other worlds while fighting the Heartless' mischief, but in the end a girl named Alice was kidnapped. It was in the Olympus Coliseum that Goofy received the honour of becoming an official Junior Hero alongside Donald and Sora after they fought in a tournament and saved Cloud and Hercules from the mighty Cerberus(Or so they were led to believe, at least). In the Deep Jungle the camaraderie of the trio was put to the test after Sora and Donald argued over finding either the boy's friends or King Mickey. Though they crashed and were separated, Goofy was happy to see his two companions make up after being reminded about the importance of friendship by the words of their new ally Tarzan. Back in Traverse Town they learned about the Keyholes and how to lock each world's heart to protect it from the Heartless. They also learned about a witch named Maleficent who was controlling the Heartless. After receiving a request from merlin the Wizard to search for the missing pages of a magic book and gaining a new friend in Simba, a heart that had been too strong to disappear when his world vanished, the trio was met by Sora's lost friend Riku. Though the boy disappeared after asking about kairi and the Keyblade, Sora was glad to know his friend was all right after all.
In Agrabah Sora and his friends caught sight of maleficent herself for a moment while helping a local named Aladdin protect a princess named jasmine from the evil Heartless--controlling sorcerer Jafar. Unfortunately Jafar and his pet parrot Iago got a hold of the magic lamp Aladdin had found, allowing him to use the Genie inside to grant his wishes. He located the Keyhole in the Cave of Wonders but the Genie was still holding back from helping Jafar as much as possible for Aladdin's sake, allowing the group of four to defeat him. Jafar wished for ultimate power by coming a Genie himself but this allowed Sora to trap him inside his own lamp. Unfortunately, Jasmine had somehow disappeared in the chaos, likely spirited away to another world. Goofy knew that they couldn't take Aladdin with them to help rescue Jasmine from Maleficent, but the street rat's third wish could have had the Genie find her. Rather than doing so Aladdin's last wish was to set Genie free form his lamp just as he'd promised to before, allowing the cosmic-powered blue goof to lend his aid to Sora as a favour to his new best friend.
While traveling to new worlds the group's ship was swallowed by a huge whale named Monstro. Inside they found Pinocchio, who they had met earlier in Traverse Town. They were surprised to find Riku as well, who helped them defeat a giant Heartless but spoke of suing the puppet Pinnochio to save Kairi. Sora chose to stand against his best friend, believing in his heart that the boy was wrong in his actions. Riku disappeared as Goofy had to protect Sora as they fought against the large Heartless form before once again. Luckily Pinnochio turned out to be all right and he and his father Geppetto were on their way back to Traverse Town safely.
The three also managed to leave the whale's belly in order to reach Atlantica, where Donald turned them into sea creature sin order to survive underwater. The sea witch Ursula was causing trouble with the Heartless here as well, but their new mermaid companion Ariel's father, King Triton, knew about the Keyblade and was against them interfering. After Ursula stole his Trident the four worked together to defeat her and win it back, earning the sea king's trust as well as the location of the world's Keyhole. They left Ariel with her dreams of seeing other worlds someday still strong and made their way to Halloween Town where another change took place. Goofy and his pals were dressed as scary monsters in order to blend in with the spooky town and were surprised to find the heartless here completely tame. After meeting the local Pumpkin King Jack SKellington they decided to help a mad doctor create a heart, hoping that successfully doing so would prevent them form having to fight the Heartless anymore. They collected all the ingredients together but the prototype was stolen by an evil bag of bugs named Oogie Boogie. With jack's help the boogie man was defeated after he discovered the heart creation to be a total failure. They left the world still unsure about what exactly makes a heart.
On their way once more the trio's Gummi Ship was rammed by a Pirate ship where Sora found not only Riku again but Kairi as well, who seemed to be unable to wake up. After helping Peter Pan save Tinkerbell from captain Hook and learning to fly with a little faith, trust and pixie dust, Goofy was worried that Sora would be sad about the state Kairi was in. instead he showed a positive attitude, wanting to tell Kairi about how he flew. Together they sealed the Keyhole to Neverland, but Tinkerbell was upset with peter because of his fiend Wendy, jealous as Donald put it, and decided to come traveling with Sora's group to help them out.
While preparing to go further into the sea of space in search of Riku and Kairi, Goofy and Donald protected Sora as he finished restoring the magic book containing the world of Winnie the pooh and as he fought in the coliseum against the hero Hercules to test his strength. After Sora was victorious against the true hero the Key bearer's protector was touched to hear him say that he understood what Herc's trainer Phil meant about strength of heart and and that his came from Donald and Goofy.
In the world of Hollow Bastion thsi was put to the test as Sora's Keyblade was taken form him by Riku, who claimed to be the true chosen wielder. Because of the King;'s orders Donald and Goofy were forced to follow Riku and leave Sora behind, but when the boy came after them and was attacked Goofy came to his senses, springing into action and protecting his friend just as he knew he was supposed to. He and Donald decided to apologize to the King alter, but when all three of them stood together Sora's heart was strengthened just as he'd talked about in the Coliseum and the Keyblade returned to his hands. After Riku fled their newest ally, the Beast, joined them in their search of the castle. He sought a woman named Belle who he believed to be held here, just as Sora knew of many other girls being kidnapped by Maleficent. All four of them faced the witch together and triumphed, even after Riku appeared again wielding a different Keyblade that unlocked her heart to darkness and made her far more powerful.
Eventually the climactic showdown at the dark castle Hollow Bastion ended with Sora defeating his possessed best friend in one-on-one combat while Goofy could only watch from outside a barrier. Afterwards Sora, much to Goofy's distress, used the artificial Keyblade to release the heart of his friend Kairi from inside of himself, transforming him into a Heartless as well. While Kairi was able to wake up once her heart returned as well as transform Sora back into his old self, she was also the seventh princess of heart and her presence caused the Final Keyhole of that world to become complete just as the one possessing Riku desired: Ansem, the Seeker of Darkness. Sora's possessed friend Riku held back the revealed villain Ansem so that the group could escape. Goofy was heartbroken that Sora had lost his a own heart in the end, but while surrounded by Heartless on the castle's bottom floor a lone Shadow was recognized by Kairi to be that boy himself. Goofy and his best friend did their best to protect the both of them from the swarm but there were too many. just as the girl seemed to be in danger however her heart restored Sora to his true form, allowing them all to escape.
With a little help from Cid Highwind, Sora, Donald and Goofy made their way back to Hollow Bastion to close the Keyhole for good. With their work done the heroes tracked down the Seeker of Darkness to the End of the World, where their final showdown would take place and Goofy knew Sora would need their protection more than ever to make it through. Though his two friends worried about what would happen to them if his world vanished Goofy assured them that their hearts weren't going anywhere and that they'd all see their friends again. The Kingdom Hearts of worlds was opened and Ansem was defeated, but in order to close the Door to Darkness and prevent an enormous surge of Heartless from entering their realm King Mickey and Riku had to lock it from the inside while Sora did so on the outside. Goofy and Donald were told by their majesty to have faith, for there would always be a door to the light.
Immediately after the events at the End of the World, Goofy and Donald traveled with Sora on a world between the planes of Light and Darkness. There they encountered Castle Oblivion, where a small number of a larger force known as the Organization sought to erase all of their memories and replace them with false ones so they could take control of the Keyblade master. Goofy and his friends of course always remembered their faith in each other and overcame the trials, defeating the castle group's leader Marluxia. In order to restore their memories, however, the witch Namine who altered them had to seal them away in pods where they would forget everything that happened to them there.
While they were asleep the true Ansem the Wise, now known as Diz, had the three heroes transferred to his lab in Twilight Town where they would be safer from the remaining members of the Organization. During the entire next year they were fast asleep inside the pods while Diz worked to retrieve Sora's Nobody Roxas and have him merge back with the Key Bearer so Sora could be complete. It was a success and Goofy and Donald awoke with Sora to find their young friend had grown quite a bit while they were asleep, none of them having any memory of how they had ended up here. After getting some clues about the King the trio was off to Yen Sid's tower where they learned that some villains were still up to no good with the Heartless, an old acquaintance of Donald and Goofy's named Pete for instance. They also learned from Yen Sid himself about the Nobodies and how the threat to the worlds was not yet solved.
Goofy set out with his two best friends once again to meet up with their old pals at Hollow Bastion. While learning about the restoration attempt there the three were confronted by the mysterious remaining members of the now-named Organization XIII, whom they had no recollection of. With their current adversaries identified the three traveled across worlds together again, fighting off the Heartless and tracking down clues on their missing friends wherever they went. Eventually they managed to meet up with King Mickey again in Hollow Bastion after the restoration Committee had located the castle's secret computer system. The mouse explained about the difference between Ansem the Seeker of Darkness and Ansem the Wise. Before they could all set out to find Riku and the recently-kidnapped Kairi together, though, the Heartless began rampaging and had to be dealt with immediately.
During the crisis Goofy had to save the King from an errant Heartless attack, earning himself a nasty blow to the head which should have been fatal. He awoke a short time later however and caught up with his sad and enraged buddies, telling them they shouldn't have worried since he gets bumped on the head all the time. After rejoining the group Goofy and the others went after the Organization XIII leader, the Nobody of Ansem the Wise's top apprentice Xehanort. They were separated from him by massive hordes of Heartless, but Goofy and Donald both gave Sora the OK signal and each of the heroes split up to make sure Organization's leader wouldn't have time to get away. It was one of the knight's most difficult battles ever as each of the trio took on a force of several hundred Heartless single-handedly until all of them were cleared out. During the resulting confrontation with several members of the Organization Goofy and his friends learned about how the Nobodies were using the hearts released by Sora's Keyblade when it defeated Heartless to form their ultimate goal, Kingdom Hearts. After some preparations and reassurances the trio was ready to find a way to the Organization's world and stop them once and for all.
During their searches for a way into the Nobody's world Goofy and his friends faced many more challenges from the members of Organization XIII, even defeating another of them at the castle of their old friend the Beast. They also helped Hercules and their new friend Auron overcome a trap set by the old trouble-making Underworld Lord, Hades. It was after this climatic battle where all five heroes worked together to defeat the god that Goofy recieved one of the greatest honours in his life. The gods proclaimed him, Donald and Sora to all be true heroes at last, commemorating the event with a constellation of them in the night sky.
After finding their way into the Corridors of Darkness via Twilight Town, Goofy and company were assaulted by hordes of Nobodies. The Organization member Axel mysteriously came to their aid, and ultimately sacrificed himself in a kamikaze attack that would clear the heroes' path, or at least so it would seem to them. Once inside the Castle That Never Was they reunited Sora with his friends Riku and Kairi and defeated more members of the Organization. When King Mickey and Ansem the Wise showed up to try to digitize Kingdom Hearts for safekeeping they managed to make it unusable to Xemnas but ultimately it cost Ansem the Wise dearly, while also causing Riku to return to his true form after he had taken on the appearance of Xehanort's Heartless in order to use the power of darkness. The united Key Bearers were followed by Donald and Goofy all the way to the final confrontation with Xemnas, leaving behind Pete and the revived Maleficent to an unknown fate as they faced down an uncountable number of Heartless so that Sora could finish off the last of the Organization. Goofy fought bravely to protect his friends many times, even inside the door to Kingdom Hearts itself where Xemnas had grown more powerful, but in the end only Sora and Riku were given the chance to face the Nobody's true might. Goofy and the others were forced to flee the Castle That Never Was and returned to Destiny Islands, Sora's home world, in the hopes that the two best friends would find their way back.
On Destiny Islands the returned adventurers and Kairi waited patiently for their lost pals to return. Goofy kept a positive as he always did; He was sure Sora and Riku would come back, just as he was sure all of their hearts were still connected to each other's. Sure enough he was right and the best friends reappeared on the beach like a miracle, quickly followed by heartfelt greetings from the dog and duck.
With their current adventures over Goofy headed back to Disney castle where he belonged, hoping to spend some quality time at home with all his friends until the next big threat reared it's ugly head... which would hopefully be never.
