Name: Daichi
Biological Age: 3
Programmed Age: 16
Gender: Male
Species: Replica
Position: Darkness
Powers: Dark Corridors;; Daichi can use the realm of darkness for travel to different world.
Absorbing: As a replica Daichi have an innate ability to absorb other life-sources; this permits him to grasp an adaptation of his victims. Thus far the only person he had absorbed was Zexion.
Darkness Embrace;; Summoning darkness, Daichi can develop a fueling darkness source to replenish his magick nullifying resting periods for darkness based attacks, but it leaves him vulnerable for 3 posts before the dark pool combust with energy. This is an opportunity for attacking, but it has a price with being effected and poisoned by darkness. Although his stamina during these embraces ignores the pain from attacks, it will become effective when he slows himself down.
Dark Flames;; Daichi can enforce his attacks with dark fire, but it isn’t as hazardous as the combusting flames in Helm Split and Dark Aura.
High Sensory;; By absorbing Zexion, Daichi inherited an extra sense of smell, which is far more particular than mere body odor; it can pick up specific traces of nothingness and darkness and associate it with a personnel.
Riku’s Shadow By being a replica of Riku, Daichi had naturally adapted to use the skills his originator had when created, but if he was to encounter and absorb more of his other, he will be able to tap into new learned abilities without having to go through learning them himself.
Helm Split;;
Striking his opponents from above multiple times before unleashing dark erupting flame from beneath them.
Dark Firaga;;
From the palm of his hand, he can send up to five combustive balls of dark fire. Daichi can conduct this 3 times before needing to have a 4 post resting duration or a recharge.
Dark Aura;;
With darkness curving in front of him as a shield, Daichi can ram into his opponents multiple times, leap up into an attack from above, while erupting dark flames beneath his opponents. Dark Aura can be conducted 4 times before needing a 4 post resting duration or a recharge.
Zexion’s Illusionary Absorbing Zexion in the past as Riku had brought power into Daichi’s being adapting Zexion’s abilities set.
Duplication;; Daichi can make up to 3 replications of himself. After the clones are defeated he must wait 6 of his posts before attempting duplication again.
Catastrophe;; Catastrophe is an ability caused active during duplication; he and his replicas creates a sphere of nothingness before fueling it until the energy of nothingness combust into an attacking radiation.
Dark Revenge;; This is a technique of Daichi and his illusions performing together where the clones attacks from the side and Daichi attacks a slam from above.
Illusions;; Daichi can mask himself as another individual or masking the environment into something else.
Trump;; With his hand illuminating in nothingness, any attack Daichi’s conduct causes a paralyzing stun. The buff effect only lasts for 4 posts. Trump can be recast after 6 posts.
Magnet Snatch; With nothingness, Daichi sends 3 bundle of spheres to grasp 3 magic skills from his opponents. The sets of magic can only be used 3 times before the skill fades. Magnet Snatch can only be used 3 times a battle, but the stronger Daichi gets the more he can use it.
Cyclone Snatch;; By his will, Daichi can conduct a small black vortex and unleash it at an opponent. The vortex acts as a hex causing silence and disable, which prohibits one from casting spells and conducting attacks. The black mist evaporates after 5 posts. Cyclone snatch can only be used 3 times a battle, but the stronger Daichi gets the more he can use it.
Dark Punisher;; Grasping any enemy, Daichi can drain his opponents health. He can drain until unconscious or significantly weaker, which depends on how long he holds on if his victim doesn't efficently fight back. Also being a replica he can do more by absorbing their power being able to utilize them himself making him a stronger opponent. Unlike Magnet Snatch, the skill set stays with him. Dark Punisher can be conducted at any time, because a replica has an innate ability of absorption.
Weapon:Soul Eater;;
Daichi wields his own Soul Eater reflecting his creation and Riku’s past. It reacts efficiently to darkness making it darkness aligned weaponry boosting his darkness based attacks.
Chakra;;
The Chakra Daichi wields his composite of darkness and thunder; perhaps deserving an elemental name, dark thunder. It illuminates a bright purple with charging darkness licking from it. It can be tossed slicing into his opponents.
Picture:Click on me to take a peekAppearance: Looking at him would directly link him with his originator due to being a spitting image of him. One would assume they are biologically related such as being a twin or brother, not a clone figure made by a blonde mad man going by Vexen
Daichi’s azure eyes are Riku’s eyes, but the replica’s can become empty and void when inactive, and as a puppet, he can malfunction or be devoid of his programming like a dead computer. Also they hold a bitter coldness unlike his originator who had concluded his inner turmoil far more than his replica, which still harbors the loathing of being a fake and object. Daichi’s white hair is Riku’s hair, seemingly blemish-less, flawless, and soft. Daichi’s hair as grown like his counterpart, but its bound in a high ponytail to display a difference between them; he grows tire of being labeled as Riku’s shadow, so he attempts to at least have something that separates him. They reflect the same height and physical make-up, but Daichi when he started to function in Castle Oblivion, still had the same skin tight heartless jumpsuit.
It was replaced with a black zipped vest that clings to his muscular frame less than his dark attire. He only contains one sleeve running a gradient from black, blue, to red with muscle tendon etchings. His black pants make his attire seem endless, but break at where his stomach peaks from his vest. Overall his attire doesn’t reflect the Organizations uniform due to not being an original member of the ranks, but being a tool. The only commonality is the use of black and the black boots. He lacks any emblem of ownership with the heartless mark gone with his new uniform and no nobody markings on his frame to link a connection.
Personality:The main divider between Riku and Daichi are their personas, since different experiences create different people. Daichi is a cold distant individual lacking the elements of friends to lean and depend on or socialize with. He’s also a source of anger and bitterness towards himself; for being an unnatural being, an surreal product, his originator; for being the original basis of his entire existence whom he cannot surpass because he is what he isn’t, and the organization; for permitting him to be created in the first place and changing the bits of his originality for their own greater scheme of greater design.
Before and after loosing his memory and having them remade, Daichi showed a consistency of not wanting to be anything like Riku. He sees himself the strongest of the pair, since he refuse to rely on Riku’s blueprint to surpass him; instead he rather choose his own route to be a perfection of what he was fashioned after. With his experience of knowing his creation, he had adapted a stubbornness to go along with his fate, but take his destiny into his own hands and make something of it grasping an insatiable drive. Also unlike his originator, Daichi can be temperamental on touchy subjects and doesn’t admire being toyed with, which causes him to be distinctively different from his mellow counterpart. With her temperament and insatiable drive, he can be blind sighted, which was the cause of many of his defeats; arrogance and blindness was his downfall in trying to transcend, but his strive of never giving up had always picked himself off the ground.
Another trait that sticks with Daichi is his unshakeable loyalty; regardless of his memory manipulation, in the end he had a care for Namine and urges to protect and look after her. This was mostly caused by having a memory basis of a false childhood and friendship with her.
Original World: Castle Oblivion
Current World: Castle Oblivion/ The World That Never Was
History:Daichi was a nameless and numberless replica, a one out of many replicas that Vexen has created, which only seems more suited for a product for not to have a true name, since it never had a true existence. He was created from battle data of an islander from Destiny Island named Riku who had emerged in the basement of Castle Oblivion after being locked in the Door to Darkness. From birth his life was pulled by the strings of the Organization, well the Rebellion, a circle within the Organization who wanted to over-throw and take over.
His original purpose was to engage Riku and his darkness to revert him back for easy manipulation, but the newborn was hardly matched for his originator, who requested time to get stronger his own day, rather than the advice Larxene gave, to give the replica Riku’s memory. Despite his retort and fight to keep his originality, the deed was done, and his mind and memory was re-written to fit the role in the Organization’s play. Besides playing a major role in turning Riku back into the darkness, he became a minor character in completing the manipulation of Sora into believing the reality of his manipulated memories.
The play didn’t end how the Organization wanted to thanks to their leading damsel, Namine. With his conflict against Sora resolved, the replica went forth to finish a chapter of his story to become better than his reflection, the real Riku. Roaming the castle, Axel had whispered in his ear the solution of all of his problems; he would be more than a fake if he had powers beyond his mirror image, since more power created more strength making him more than real. By obtaining power that Riku didn’t have there will be a difference from one another and he wouldn’t be a true replica or counterpart. To do so, he absorbed the weak Zexion finishing the nobody off only to meet his destruction at the edge of Riku’s Souleater.
With his defeat, the replica descended into darkness, but being an individual who had always embraced the darkness he didn’t fade and became nothing within it. Instead the darkness molded with him, but the fight against Riku brought more damaged than he had anticipated. Without Namine to patch him up his memory frazzled only obtaining bits and pieces.
He remembers a confrontation with Larxene, which forever makes him have an uneasy dislike for her. His memory of Sora evaporated, since his strongest memories were towards his counterpart, Riku, whom he only remembers his passionate loathing against him and his predicament of being a replica. He remembers the associating Organization members such as: Axel, Zexion, Larxene, Vexen, and Marluxia. The replica recalls absorbing Zexion for in need to trump Riku, but the replica would only smirk at the event, since he got the best of an Organization member, but it leaves a dissatisfying taste in his mouth, because his counterpart had easily batted off Zexion. An important spark he have forgotten was his loathing against the Organization, since he never recalls how his memory was revamped for their usage as well as not remember the basis of his false memories with a blonde hair girl that seems to ripple into his mind.
In all, he feels like he’s on square one all over again with a start over to continue what he started after coming to the conclusion being left behind due to his failure. The replica began to rebuild himself to fulfill his purpose whether it’s for the Organization and his own personal purpose, to better the Original. With Castle Oblivion as his recovery center, he spent a bulk of his time grasping his memory and the abilities he had. As a replica that had a battle data, he was born armed and skilled with the abilities he replicated, absorbed, and already had, so instead of learning them he had to merely tap into what was already in him. To formerly start his new beginning, he needed to give himself a name, and that’s the birth of Daichi
Role Playing Sample: “Raaa!” Daichi hollered before severing a neoshadow in half vertically, while unleashing a fiery stream of burning purple. Basking the Castle in darkness to attract heartless to use as target practice was a common ritual for Daichi. He had to make sure he wasn’t rusting, especially if he was ever going to make himself leave this world. Daichi always had a choice when to go and when to stay, but he wouldn’t leave until he deemed himself ready, since many of his battles he ran into under-prepared.
His hair has grown longer as it swayed left to right with his cat-like gait as he stepped on the black ooze, the only remnants of the heartless he demolished before tracking it all over the white floor before the darkness faded. With a low growl, Daichi was beginning to feel restless, since none of them fueled him anymore. At the beginning, yes they were difficult, but as time rolled by and learning his enemies as well as grasping control of what he had, they became easy kill. He tried to switch things up by masking the heartless as his original or battling his own clones, but what was the point in fighting yourself. From his eyes, he and Riku are no longer the same individuals; he isn’t aware of what his counterpart been through and wouldn’t put it pass him to have gotten stronger. At the thought of it, it brought anger in him as he punched the solid white wall.
His actions had confused him now. Yes, he would hate the thought of his originator to have gotten stronger, but he would also hate it if he hadn’t; it would’ve been degrading to be a mirror image of weakness. No he wanted the fight, his encounter, with Riku to be worth everything, since it was his everything; it was his purpose of living, his destiny to be fulfilled, to no longer be a shadow.
“It’s about time I leave this forsaken place,” Daichi muttered lowly waving his hand, his Souleater puffed into thick clouds of darkness. It was a summoned weaponry so he had no need to flaunt and carry it constantly. He wasn’t going to get any better doing the same-o-same-o; he needed more and more was outside of these bland white walls that were decorated in scorch marks produced by his dark fires. He walked harshly, while pushing the doors forcefully causing loud booms to echo throughout the Castle. He was heading towards the main door of the castle for his exit. Although he could easily use a dark corridor this was a more efficient farewell of never returning and not looking back.
This was the start of his new beginning and he can’t be the foolish failure he was that had lost. With his back to the castle, he walked down the stairs which he hoped would be the last time. His right arm stretched open palm faced out ordering the fabrics of reality to fold back to reveal the dark realm. With an deep inhale, he stepped in; with Zexion’s senses, he can detect if he was getting and closer or farther from his next location. He had to seek the Organization out or atleast Riku, whichever he finds first.
“One day I will find you and you will regret existing for allowing me to, then you would know what it truly means to be nothing.”
