Name: Sen
Nickname(optional): Set
Age: 20
Gender: Male
Species: Human
Position: Neutral
Power(s): Though Sen doesn't necessarily have 'powers', he is extremely adept in magic and 'swordplay', as he'd like to call it. He can learn magic quite easier than others as well.(explained why in his history). This doesn't mean he's advanced in either of these forms. Rather, he only knows the basics. He knows the basic 'fire, thunder, and blizzard' spells and only how to thrust a sword properly. This is why he carries a broad sword rather than the traditional staff that mages almost always use.
Fire: The magic that allows a person to shoot a flame out of a medium, for Sen his sword or any other weapon that is sharp, and towards his or her opponent. If used properly, it could even follow another before vanishing.
Blizzard: This works like fire. How ever, it does not follow his or her opponent. It simply shoots straight forward.
Thunder: Lightning crashes into the ground in multiple areas, causing debris to be created and the environment to be damaged. This has a likely chance of hitting the user's opponent if used accurately.
This is how Sen uses his spells. It may be different for others, obviously.Weapon(s): Broad Sword
Picture(optional):Appearance: Sen's body is slim but muscular and extremely pale. The dark abyssive eyes his facial structure often demands to be a glare would almost look as if they're digging into one's soul. This is often accompanied by a wry smile. It looks almost sorrowful.
Sen wears silver gaunlets that reach up to his elbows. These aren't heavy. They're rather light and flexible in the fashion that one's flexibility is almost limitless and the perfection of the glove is built upon defense. It is not easily broken. It's somewhat a 'one of a kind'. If it's broken, it's broken. It's difficult to repair.
(For further info, look at the picture.)
Personality: Calm, holding a rather intimidating exterior, Sen always holds his thoughts in a collected order. Sen is somewhat hard to anger despite that he
used to have a quick temper. This often comes to light when somebody screws something up that he had tried to accomplish or do. He leans towards darkness within his powers despite that he doesn’t hold any intentions towards leaning to the dark nor light. This, how ever, can obviously be swayed by those he interacts with.

History/Background: ---
”Maybe… maybe I just wanted to feel important… to carry death upon my shoulders just so I could feel special… I’m despicable...”---
At the fresh age of five, he was taken in by his grandfather. His parents obviously didn’t mind since his grandfather was, after all, a good man and a mage. They left the choice on Sen, who was five years old at the time. It’s somewhat funny that they’d ask a five year old what he would want to do (Heheh…). His grandfather wasn’t of any high importance. Rather, he was average in his mastery. He didn’t have any failures. He merely knew an average amount of magic. He didn’t know anything big. It was only a valid amount for him to deem himself a ‘master’. Therefore, he was not popular.
Within the first five years he was taught the basics of magic and the energy that was used to conjure it and manipulate it. This was all boring to Sen since this was common knowledge. It’s just that those who knew lacked the effort to create do such things and those that did without a teacher were often killed within their inexperienced training regime. So, for five years, Sen was bored out of his mind.
Around the age of ten he had mastered his first magic. This particular magic conjured flames in the focal point of his said weapon and spiraled it out and towards any object he desired it to through the manipulation if his energy and mind. It often exhausted him due to the little amount of energy he had within his little body. How ever, he had enough for the succession of the spell. He was quite proud of himself.
Within the same year, he was taught how to properly use a sword. His master had hired another tutor within the money he had spared through his teachings with other students. Again, he may have not been very common, but that did not disregard the fact that he taught others. His grandfather only had enough money to allow the said teacher to teach the basics of the usage of a sword. How ever, this did not falter Sen’s excitement.
Within the next five years he would learn how to use Blizzard. This was somewhat easier than fire, though he required aiming practice to use it to its fullest potential. There was a little amount of complaints coming from Sen. He was starting to mature; to understand that he must have patience before he takes the next step. He wasn’t in any rush. He had all the time in the world to master magic. He only hoped he could one day succeed his grandfather and become the most powerful swords-mage in the world despite that his grandfather was merely a mage.

”Maybe I just wanted to feel special… I’m despicable…”---
Some years later, he would learn how to use thunder. This was the most difficult spell he had to learn. How ever, with the previous training, he was able to learn it in a matter of months. This was directly before his sixteenth birthday. Moreover, after his sixteenth birthday, only about a month or so after, his grandfather passed away due to natural causes.
Sen refused to believe this. He wanted to believe that something had happened. He even created thoughts that his grandfather had been poisoned. So, just to lie to himself, he forced himself to believe it. He put up a façade, an act to fool others into believing that he was on a quest. This particular quest was to find his grandfather’s murderer. This was his first step to resorting to using the darkness’ power for his own benefit. Yet, he stayed neutral. The darkness merely boosted how much magic he could use within a day. One could think of it as an energy booster of some sort.
Now, two or three years later, at the age of twenty, Sen now sat on a cliff, one leg dangling over it and swaying around lifelessly as one arm rested on a knee. He knew now that it was time to come to terms with his grandfather’s death. He knew he shouldn’t lie to himself. It was foolish to even lie to others in the first place. Deep down, he knew his grandfather was much too old to carry on living and guide him through life. Speaking two or three lines, he finished off with “I’m not a hero”.
Role Playing Sample: Eyes motioned over to a created. Arched eyebrow and cocking his head to the side, this particular male observed the figure. “Interesting,” he mumbled as he grabbed the hilt of his rather large sword. “Let’s play a game.” This man’s voice was alien to the creature. The small figure rushed towards him, aiming to scratch at him with its bare hands. This man smiled in amusement before brushing his blade forward, slicing the creature in two. “Game over,” he mumbled before placed the sword back in its sheath and carrying on with his day.
This was done in laziness. I didn’t feel like giving much of a sample since I wrote that entire profile. Sorry xPQuestions/Comments/Suggestions? If you still didn’t get why Sen can learn magic faster than others, it’s because he was around it his entire life basically. He can understand its use and purpose much more than a person who just started learning it. This is all coming from experience. Nothing more; nothing less. I’m not sure if I can even call this a power.
