Name: Replica
Nickname: Rin (his self-believed name), Repliku, Puppet, Toy (by Larxene)
Age: 16; the age he was from the original data, as aging cannot affect a copy.
Gender: Male
Species: As Vexen puts it, an experiment; created using Riku’s combat data.
Position: Unknown; previously evil.
Powers: Rin fights with the same style as his original counterpart. Although, his attacks are much fasters and a little more powerful than Riku. He can perform dark aura and other attacks multiple times without wasting much energy. He releases his attacks in torrents, making it difficult to get a counter-attack or defensive move in. He has the ability to warp, although there is no explination for it. Rin is also much more aggressive than Riku, which leads to some moments in the battle where he is open for an attack.
Dark Break: Leap into the air and attack enemies from above.
Dark Firaga: Expel Dark energies in a searing blast.
Dark Aura: Rush enemies repeatedly with blade in hand.
Weapon(s): A carbon copy of Soul Eater
Picture: Appearance: Much like Riku, Rin has his signature platinum hair and azure eyes. As much as that may be a similarity, he has many striking differences. Although Rin’s hair has the same shade as Riku’s, it is far less spiky, flowing to about his shoulders.
Rin bears the outfit that Ansem appointed to Riku when he was overthrown by the darkness; this outfit is near skin tight, and consisting mostly of dark blues, red and black. The suit reaches from his neck and down to his leggings, where navy blue boots hide the rest of the material from below his kneecap. On his chest he bears the heartless symbol, the only reason for this is because of the combat data’s timeline, though it holds no significance to date.
Around his waist, three navy belts lie, one larger, one along his waist and two smaller ones by his side, brought together with one grey belt buckle. Connected to the belts is a knee-length hakuma, an off-white layer sewn overtop of a dried lighter blue layer; the hakuma is generally torn away, giving a messy feel to it.
Fractured Memory (Original):
I took the liberty of creating a new outfit for Rin, because seeing as it’s been a while since he was destroyed, I doubt anyone would have kept it.Rin’s new attire is fairly simple, but also very intricate. His old outfit has been completely scrapped, except for the idea of the heartless emblem on his chest. This is now the symbol that remains on his sleeveless, smoke-colored shirt. Red outlines the bottom, and a white jacket, similar to a school track suit, is worn loosely over top. It is usually seen unzipped.
His pants are dark grey, and many pockets line the outside of them. These pockets are outlined in a light, almost sparkling grey-silver. Rin’s shoes simply consist of navy trainers, with red streaks running along the bottom and sides.
Although it is not common, Rin also wears his hair in a loose ponytail.
Personality:
”I may be Riku’s replica, but don’t expect us to act the same.”
“I may look like him, but I even have my own heart.”
“That memory is mine, and you can’t have it!”Previously, Rin was very independent, accusative, and a bit of an annoyance. He posed as Riku in Castle Oblivion in an attempt to fool Sora, which was a complete success up to the point of Larxene explaining that the boy Sora was conversing with was not the original Riku. He could be smug at times, and believed that he was nothing like the original, but better.
After the corruption of his data, Rin has calmed down substantially. He is almost an exact opposite of Riku. Mostly dependent on others, and a bit confrontational at times, he can also be quite pleasant. Although, it may be that he's slowly retrieving bits and pieces of his fractured memory. He has a certain hatred for Riku, and doesn't remember much before his disposal.
Original World: Castle Oblivion’s Basement Floor
Current Residing World: The World That Never Was
History/Background: Rin was originally created by Vexen to estimate Riku’s strength and hopefully cause Riku’s heart to return back to the darkness. Over time though, Naminé was sent to have him seem like they had known each other since they were little and believe that Sora was the one whom was lying.
Soon, this brought about his overall defeat, and sadly, the replica had to return to the darkness, becoming but a memory.
As time passed and the Organization revived from its down-fall, the replica had once again found its way into the world of the living. With Vexen’s aid, he used the combat data that had been recovered from its first discovery to create another replica. However, over time, the data had become deranged and over-all corrupted, changing how it acted. Sure, it wasn’t all that big of a difference, though it was noticeable.
For now, he is a puppet of the Organization, acting on but a whim.
