In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

There aren't enough praises in the world I'd like to give to wonderful coders for the Proboards community. The following have contributed to World Destiny in some way: W3 Schools for countless how-tos and countless of other souls who have helped get WD up to where it is.

Age: There are some who say that Merlin is ageless, for he has lived in the past, present, and future and there are none now live who remember his birth date. As for Merlin? He would merely smile and tell you he was “old enough”
Gender: Male
Species: Human Wizard
Position: Good
Weapon: Magic (and wits)
Appearance: Merlin takes the form of a wizened, old man, with a long, snow-white beard ending just below his belt. He generally wears blue robes and a pointed hat of similar color. His pockets are large and filled with all sorts of magical charms and spells, though which one he left the keys to his cottage in, he couldn’t tell you. His wild eyebrows give him the appearance being only half-awake most of the time, but his eyes were bright and alert to the world around him.
Powers/Spells: Merlin is well-verse in the defensive magical arts, powers including, but not limited to: basically anything he can teach Sora, he can also perform adequately. However, he does not use these powers often, if at all.
His greatest strengths are his ability to time travel, portal, and transform into any creature at will. He can also shrink and enlarge objects, animate them, otherwise manipulate them.
I believe it is appropriate that Merlin have other less regarded powers, such as enchanting a quill to take notes for him, and such. I will base these powers directly off of what seems plausible from both the games, and the movie he comes from, “The Sword in the Stone”
Weapon(s): He has a wand of sorts to help him direct his magical energies, but that’s all.
Inventory:
1 feather quill 1 copy of the New York Times 3 owl treats 1 bottle of aspirin ½ hi-potion 5 tea bags 1 ring of brass and silver keys 1 eye of a newt 1 packet of 16 four-leaf clovers Lint 1 packet of parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme 1 bottle of lotion 5 fire-hops 1 USB cable 1 Thumb drive 1 Unidentified Experiment.
History/Background: In medieval times, Merlin had took on a boy named Arthur as a pupil, preparing him for his destiny as King of the Britains and bringer of peace to the divided and warring nations. Unfortunately, during the same era he had been trapped by Morgan le Faye, Morgain of the Faeries. He was trapped for several hundred years within the heart of an oak tree, until his world fell apart and he was forced to relocate. Once again he is using his skills to teach the chosen few how to wield their powers and guide them on their path to greatness.
Personality: Merlin can sometimes come off as a bumbling, old fool, who is easily distracted, but this is only because there are so many thoughts running through his mind at once that would be difficult, nay impossible, for a normal person to comprehend. His mind is always buzzing with facts and riddles, though he can’t always explain them properly the way he would like to.
He believes that swords are no match for the power of the mind and wisdom of the ages and is quite willing to teach anyone who is willing to learn.
He loves chamomile tea, Trading Spaces, and National Geographic magazine.
Role Playing Sample: Here are two excerpts from my rping as Merlin, which may or may not be found on WD.
One: "Intelligence and wisdom, my dear boy, are entirely subjective. I value learning and knowledge for the sake of contributing to the Worlds when they need it, and for the mental well-being of my person." Were children not taught to respect their elders these days? Though annoyed and perhaps the tiniest bit anxious to get these young people out of his study so he could work in peace, he did not show it. Still, he felt no desire to correct the boy by showing him his true power as wizard of the magical arts. He never used magic as a means of commanding respect unless it was absolutely necessary. He believed that respect was privilege, not a right. "My name is Merlin. Is there anything I can do for you?"
Two: Merlin glanced up from his crossword puzzle, snow-white eyebrows knit. Well the nerve of some people! Arriving a whole fifteen minutes earlier than expected. The wizard checked the clock. Yes, a whole fifteen minutes early! In a moment, he went to the window and opened it, "Can I help you? Ah, it's you! Well, now, you know you're early, don't you? Well, don't just stand there, come inside. It's nearly time for luncheon. And ah, that goes for you too, lass." He bustle to put on some tea, conjuring some plates with biscuit, which happened to be Mickey-Mouse shaped . He had been prepared to receive visitors that afternoon, due to a little premonition he had had last week, but was the tiniest bit annoyed at the timing. He was just filling in a four letter word for "curse" in his crossword and was mildly miffed that he had not gotten to finish it. Still, there were other, more pressing matters at hand, "And do put away that keyblade, won't you? Don't want to attract stray Hearltess, eh?"
