In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Age: His exact date of creation (it’s estimated at as much as 290 years ago) has been lost amidst many shuffles of power and reformattings, but he has been in his current state in the castle in Radiant Garden for approximately 13 years.
Gender: Male, for ease of reference.
Species: Computer Program.
Position: Good, RGRUC member.
Powers: He controls the entirety of Radiant Garden’s computer systems. And as if that wasn’t enough, he also has electrical powers that he uses in his humanoid form during battle simulations.
Weapon: Anything connected to the computer system of Radiant Garden, including, but not limited to: the defense system (claymores), construction equipment, computers, etc. In battle simulations, he uses his identity disk as a throwing weapon.
Picture(optional): The one on the far left, of course.
Appearance: Appearance is a tricky thing, as he has no “true” form. Since he has complete control of Radiant Garden’s computer system, within it he can take any form he should choose. However, he has designed (and had Cid install) a projector system in Radiant Garden to allow him to show up in hologram form in the city (meaning it goes as far as the claymores). Again, since he controls the computer system (and therefore the projector system) he can take any holographic form he chooses to. He does, however, have a favored form, one that he uses most of the time. First, start with a gray base humanoid form, fairly tall. Add a symmetrical network of glowing blue patterns, very geometric in nature, that covers his clothing, though not his face or hands. He wears a similarly styled helmet, gray with a network of blue. On his chest is a series of five blue squares inside a circle, arranged into a T shape ((although Seph insists that it is a happy face, not a T)). His identity disk, also gray with glowing blue rings, fits into a circular indentation on his back.
Personality: Tron has a very strong sense of duty, especially to the Users and the RGRUC. He’s highly intelligent and highly logical, being a computer program. However, being a computer program and living in Space Paranoids does produce its personality quirks. It is difficult, if not impossible for him to work “on a hunch;” it simply defies logic. He also has a tendency to refer to things in terms of the computer world, as in microcycles and the like. In other words, he’s more prone to techno-babble than the average person.
History/Background: Once upon a time is more suited to fairy tales and high fantasy, but it fits the time spanned in Tron’s history. Long ago, on a distant world, there was a computer programmer named Alan Bailey. Alan worked at a company called ENCOM. There, he designed a security program designed to monitor contact between the ENCOM system and any outside systems. The program’s name was Tron.
Now at the same time, we have Ed Dillinger, Senior Executive of ENCOM. He wrote a program to oversee ENCOM’s systems. He also programmed it to be rather power hungry. This program was known at the MCP: the Master Control Program, and as power hungry as it was, it soon found it’s way into other systems, taking them over subtly, silently. As soon as the MCP found out about Tron, he knew the security program had to be stopped, or else they risked everything they had worked for. So Tron was soon appropriated.
There’s one more major player in this drama: Kevin Flynn. Some eight years prior to these events, Dillinger had stolen several video game designs from Flynn in an effort to get a promotion by presenting them as his own designs. It worked, rather well. During these events with Tron, Flynn was working on hacking into ENCOM’s systems in order to find proof that Dillinger stole the designs from him. Tron, had he not been appropriated, would have been able to stop the MCP from hiding that file when it found it. It came down to the events of one night, with Dillinger and the MCP hunting for the file to hide and/or destroy it, and Flynn and Alan working to find the file and Tron to stop them.
The MCP, in an effort to thwart Flynn, zapped him with a laser the scientists at ENCOM were working on. The laser was designed to digitize real life objects and hold them in the computer system’s storage, then later rematerialize them, presumably in a more convenient location. Flynn, now finding himself inside the computer, worked with Tron to escape the MCP’s control, get to the I/O tower to get directions from Alan, and ultimately defeat the MCP and find the file he needed.
It is unknown how Ansem the Wise got a copy of the ENCOM system, but he did have one on which he stored all of his files. He modified the system to better suit his needs, including modifications to Tron himself. Tron was most helpful in keeping things organized and secure in Ansem’s labs. When Xehanort took over, he saw the use in having the computer system, but was worried that Tron, in loyalty to Ansem, would lock him out from the files he needed. So he restored the MCP and recaptured Tron and used the system for his own research on the nature of the heart and darkness.
Then the Heartless came, and the castle (along with the labs underneath) stood abandoned by all except the glowing yellow eyes. The MCP ruled Space Paranoids with a digital iron fist. Tron remained imprisoned, being forced into games now and then. The whole situation was quite similar to what he had been through with the MCP the first time. So went things for ten long years.
And then Sora and the RGRUC arrived. With their help, Tron escaped captivity, regained his strength, and managed to defeat the MCP once again, along with the hostile Heartless programs that the MCP had been creating and sending into the Garden. Since then, Tron has been working closely with the RGRUC to restore (and upkeep, natch) Radiant Garden. He maintains the security systems and the larger, automated equipment, as well as alerting the Committee to invading Heartless and Nobodies (specifically the ones the claymores can’t handle, like Org. XIII or the Dark XII). On top of all that, he keeps the Committee’s files organized, backed up, and secure, as well as keeping their schedules straight and reminding them about important dates and meetings. In short, he does everything a good PC should do.
Powers: He compacts trash inside his stomach cavity, and for defense he can compact himself into a cube. He’s solar powered, and requires recharging each morning. He also had a tape recorder on the front of his chassis.
Weapon: The only thing resembling a weapon he has is a high-intensity laser located on, for lack of a better term, his nose. It will cut through most metals.
Picture(optional):
Appearance: First, imagine a dusty, rusty, dirty, grimy, grungy box, made of metal and orange in color, 15 inches in height. Now, when he’s hiding in his defensive mode, that’s all there is to him, pretty much. On the lower right corner of his front, his abbreviation is printed. When expanded into his mobile form, he looks a little more personable (robot-able?). He rides on a pair of tank-like treads, allowing him to traverse all kinds of terrains at high speeds. His eyes snake out on a stem-like neck, and are large and round, not unlike binoculars. His arms are on hydraulic cylinders and end in two groups of two pieces of smooth metal for gripping and lifting. Expanded, he reaches a height of about three feet tall.
Personality: You might expect that a robot designed for the sole purpose of menial labor would be lacking in the personality department. You, however, would be wrong in this case. WALL-E is extremely curious, and will fiddle or play with anything that he finds. He’s also the universe’s biggest packrat, saving any little thing that catches his interest. He has a thing for the movie Hello, Dolly! It’s taught him everything he knows about love (which, admittedly, isn’t a whole lot, but still). He is in fact in love with another robot named EVE (Extraterrestrial Vegetation Evaluator). He is quite lonely, having been the only robot on Earth for nigh 700 years. He also scares easily, so avoid sudden movements or loud noises around him.
History/Background:”WALL-E: Working to dig you out.”
It’s a nice idea, in theory. The problem is that within the first few years of the WALL-E program, all but one of the WALL-Es had been shut down or malfunctioned. Our WALL-E was the only one left. And so he worked for 700 years. In the morning, he’d start with a solar charge to get him through the day (the robot equivalent of a strong cup of coffee). He’d spend his day compacting the garbage that covered the Earth’s surface into perfect little 14 inch cubes, which he would then stack in great tall buildings of cubed garbage. If something in the garbage caught his eye, he would move it into an ice chest that he carried around with him, and sort it amongst his other treasures back at his capsule. At night, he’d retreat to the capsule to sleep, watch parts of Hello, Dolly!, and sort the days treasures, not in that order, of course.
And so things went for the majority of the next 700 years. Then, within the course of a few days, two things happened that would change his life forever. First, he found trapped inside an old refrigerator a small sprout. A plant. The only plant on the planet, in fact. The other thing was the arrival of EVE. At first he was frightened by her and her advanced weaponry (and trigger-happy nature), but he soon came to love her, simply because she was the only other robot on the planet.
Then he showed her his plant. (And no, I don’t mean it THAT way. Get your mind out of the gutter, people!) Her directive was to find plant life and return it to the Axiom ship on which the humans had left the planet 700 years ago. As soon as she saw the plant, she took it for safe-keeping, and then went into hibernation mode. After a few more days, the rocket on which she had journeyed to Earth returned to pick her up again. WALL-E, not wanting to lose the new love of his life, hitched a ride by clinging to the outside of the rocket. And so he clung for a good time, until…
… he slipped. He lost his grip, and became separated from the rocket. He’s currently floating through space, but he is nearing one of the worlds, and it is likely that he will be making an impromptu (read: crash) landing.
(Here’s a hint: The world starts with ”R” and ends with “adiant Garden.” =D)
Role Playing Sample: Not necessary; see Robo from way back when.

Max speed over level terrain: 30 mph. Internal storage: 2744 cubic inches (that’s a 14 inch cube for you non-math types out there.) Max load weight: 1000 lbs. Max tread height: 36 inches. Max tread length: 40 inches.
Name: Edgar Roni Figaro Nickname(optional): Gerad (more of a pseudonym than a nickname)
Age: 27
Gender: Male
Species: Human
Position: Good
Powers: He has with him the Magicite left behind by the esper Ramuh, which allows him to cast Bolt and Bolt 2 (a.k.a. Thunder and Thundara) and Poison. In addition, he can also summon Ramuh himself, although that is not something he does often, as the process is quite draining. He has a few other spells up his sleeve, such as Warp, Reflect, Shell, Safe and Haste.
Weapon: He has his tools. His tools are as follows:
The Auto Crossbow, a crossbow capable of firing at high speeds at multiple targets with surprising accuracy. What it lacks in strength, it makes up for in area of effect.
The Bio Blaster, essentially a giant gas gun. It spews a hazardous, poisonous gas from its nozzle, covering a rather large area in front of him. Note: watch for shifts in wind, especially if attempting to use without a gas mask.
The Noise Blaster, a machine that makes a rather loud noise, deafening and confusing those nearby. Wear earplugs when using it, ALWAYS.
The Flash, a machine which produces a blinding flash of light. For this one, tinted glasses are in order.
The Drill. It’s longer that your average drill, the bit being several feet long and quite sturdy, and quite good at drilling holes in one’s opponents.
The Chain Saw. Need I say more for this one?
His less lethal tools, like his screwdriver set, an adjustable wrench, and a pocket knife.
Now, obviously he doesn’t carry all of these at all times – he simply couldn’t manage them all. He generally carries the Auto Crossbow with him (it’s got a holster on his back for it). His smaller tools are also generally on his person. Also, the ex-king carries a rapier at his side for close combat.
Appearance: Edgar is fairly well built, thin but not frail, and carries himself as is expected of him: like a king. He stands 6’ tall, with slightly pale skin, long blond hair that comes down his back in a large ponytail, and sky blue eyes. His clothes are fit for a king: regal clothing of bright blue and bright colored highlights. He wears a long blue cape on his back, with golden tassels along the bottom edge.
Personality:"The young king of Figaro Castle, Imperial ally, and champion of the technological revolution..."
Edgar, generally speaking, is a good guy. He fights for the right reasons, and has a strong sense of responsibility, especially towards his kingdom. He doesn’t lie or cheat for lying and cheating’s sake, but he’s not above it for the right reasons. He acts with dignity and grace when he can, and is generally level-headed. His weakness, however, is women. He will flirt with just about any girl he meets, though not in a sleazy way, but in a dashing “Prince Charming” sort of way. He cares for his family, which at the moment, is only his brother, Sabin, who is nowhere to be found since their world was destroyed.
Original World: Aeolus (World of FF6)
Current Residing World: Travelling (But soon to light on Radiant Garden)
History/Background: One could argue that to fully understand Edgar’s history, you’d have to start with the War of the Magi, 1000 years ago.
Luckily, you get the abridged version.
Edgar Roni Figaro and his twin brother, Sabin Rene Figaro were born 27 years ago, to the current king and queen of Figaro, a nation on the world of Aeolus. In the following years, their mother, the queen, fell ill and passed away. Some time later, the Empire, fearing the nation of Figaro would grow too strong, poisoned the king. At the time, Edgar and Sabin were both 17. Neither wanted to take up the position of king of Figaro, as both wanted freedom, and both wanted revenge against the Empire. By the same token, Edgar knew they couldn’t both leave, or else the kingdom would fall in to disarray. The night the king passed away, a deal was struck. The brothers would flip a coin: heads, and Sabin would be free to leave the castle and live his life to his choosing and Edgar would remain as king. Tails, and the reverse was true.
It says a lot about Edgar that he chose the coin; a two-headed coin.
Over the next ten years, he ruled as king of Figaro, pretending to be an ally of the Empire, but secretly helping the rebel group known as the Returners. In this time, he befriended Locke Cole, a key member of the Returners. When, 10 years after becoming king, Edgar was approached by Locke with a mysterious girl with the rare power of magic that had been, until recently, under the control of the Empire, Edgar left the castle with Locke to take her to the Returner hide-out. Along the way, they ran into Sabin, who had been training in the mountains, and who joined the group in escorting Terra to the Returners. When the Returners learned of Terra, her magic, and an esper deep in the mines of Narshe, they took her there in order to recreate the strange reaction she had had to the same esper just before she was found by the Returners. After fighting off Imperial troops trying to capture the esper for their own research, Terra spoke to the esper, and ended up transforming and literally flying away.
The rest of the party regrouped in a local house at Narshe, before going in search of Terra. They eventually found her in the thieves town of Zozo, being cared for by Ramuh, another esper living disguised as a human in the human world. There they learned of the War of the Magi, the Esperworld, and of Magicite. Magicite is the essence of an esper that is left behind when the esper passes away. It is the only way to fully pass on the power of an esper to a human. After talking to them, Ramuh told them of the Magitek Research Facility in Vector, where several other espers were being held captive. Ramuh then gave them his power by turning himself into Magicite, on the condition that they would travel to Vector and stop the Empire from using the other espers in their research.
In need of a mode of transport to the southern continent… gods this is dragging on. Long story short, the Empire gets control of the three statues that control all magic in the world, General Kefka double crosses Emperor Gestahl, kills the old geezer, takes control of the world. On that day the way was opened for the Heartless in the madness and confusion. The world actually managed to hold out for a while – six months. Edgar alternated between fending off the Heartless he came across, trying to find his friends, and trying to find his castle, which had been buried when the world was ruined and rearranged. Unfortunately, he failed in all three, and the world was consumed.
Edgar woke up in Traverse Town with not much on his person. He did have a fair amount of cash, however, and was able to use that to purchase a gummi ship, which he’s been using for the last two years to search for any signs of his friends. So far, he’s yet to find much, but stories of a tall, powerful, silver-haired man in Radiant Garden have him headed in that direction, thinking Emperor Gestahl might just have survived after all… not that he’s a friend, but he is a connection to Edgar’s world.
Role Playing Sample: Not necessary.
Questions/Comments/Suggestions? Just saying, this has been in the works for nearly six months. Also, I lost files a couple of times in that. I’m sick of writing it! So the history is a bit super condensed at the end. Sorry.
