Name: Braig
Nickname(optional):Organization XIII or Dark XII Nickname(optional): The Righteous Archer
Age: 36
Gender: Male
Species: Heartless
Position: Chaotic-Evil
Organization XIII or Dark XII Position: Second in Command of the Dark XII, #2
Power(s): Very similar to his Nobody Counterpart's ability to 'control' the laws of Space, Braig shares most of this uncanny ability, with several differences.
Braig can "share" this power, in the form of the Arrows which he fires from his Bow. Apart from the Arrows he regularly uses, there are Several special ones, which on contact have varying effects.
Gravity Arrow- This arrow, upon contact with the enemy, severs the 'chains' of Gravity to that person, making them weightless for short period of time (4 posts).
Teleportation Arrow- This Arrow creates an instantaneous spacial 'gap' when it hits solid matter (IE: Body, Wall, Floor) which will transport Organic Materials (things that are alive) 20 feet above the area the gap is created. (Ex: If Sora were to get hit by one of these Arrows, Sora would instantaneously be transported high into the air. But, if the Arrow hit a wall, or the ground, than whomever passes over that gap first, is transported high into the air. No effect, obviously on Braig or Xigbar)
Disorientation Arrow- This is an Arrow that doesn't do much in a physical sense..it confuses the senses of the opponent, into thinking such random things it can cause a battle to take quite a bit of a halt. Depending on the mental abilities of the target, it can change dramatically. Up can become green, down can become cheese, you become, psychotropically, disoriented.
Along with these arrows, for Braig specific Abilities, are of course, the ability to create portals for travel, the ability to ignore the laws of space/gravity (IE: The way Xigbar walks around upside down).
(Note: Although he shares most of Xigbar's powers, one aspect he doesn't have, is Xigbar's 'Auto-teleport' ability. Wherein [from the game] he fires several times, than BAM, is somewhere else, or where he shifts the battlefield, those will remain Xigbar's own specific abilities ^_^)
Weapon(s): Braig uses a Bow and Arrow as his weapon.
The bow is materialized by gathering the Darkness around him and compressing it into a solid Matter. The Arrows are made up of residual energy. Both the Bow and Arrows are surrounded by a Light Blue Aura, with a Dark, Sapphire Blue Core.\
Picture(optional):Appearance: Braig is not so 'tan' as his Nobody counterpart, but not pasty white either. If you were to describe his skin tone, you would say a very, very, VERY light bronze, or a Dark soft peach. His hair is a solid grey (though he prefers 'silver') and is just past shoulder length on the back and sides, bangs hanging in spikes above his brow. He wears a Khaki colored undershirt, with a medium-brown leather vest over it. His pants are made of a loose-fitting Nylon fiber, and are black. A notable accessory is the peace sign amulet he wears around his neck, The blue bandana he wears across his forehead, as well as a Tattoo on his right forearm bearing a "V" Tattoo (symbolizing either Victory, or Peace, he'll never tell.) His eyes are a strange Maroon colour, which adds a bit to his strangeness.
Personality: Braig is the utter embodiment of Cool and Collected, well, most of the time. He is a very free spirit, shunning away most technological advances (mainly things like Guns..he prefered more manual requirements for things of that nature). He isn't one to take well to authority, but will do as told by his Leader
. Braig is the type of person you would see at the beach, flying a Kite, on most days. When he gets into his "battle" mode, he is Cautious in Approach, not cocky as some others are, taking on the persona of a hunter of sorts, living for the moment at hand, the hunt, and nothing more, until the hunt is done.
Original World: Earth (Lilo and Stitch World)
Current Residing World:The World That Never Was
History/Background: Braig, born and raised in an area known as California by two, less than modern, nature loving parents. He spent most of his teenage years out on the beaches, just enjoying his time in the sand. That is to say, when he wasn't getting pushed around in the sand. A pacifist by nature, never really one to resort to violence unless absolutely necessary (IE: A life in danger, his life in danger). He was the strange one out in the crowd, one would say obsessed with the unknown, with the beyond. When he was 20, he moved to Hawaii, after hearing rumors of strange happenings on some of the islands, he of course wanted to be closer, and the amount of beaches helped as well. He spent his time working at a Surfshop, maintaing and renting out surfboards. He lived this boring life for several years, before the truly exciting thing happened.
One night as he was walking to his home, a small shack a mile and a half from the beach he worked at, an eerie light surrounded him, and before he knew it, he was in large vehicle. The vehicle however was not on the ground, but instead, it was in the stars! Speeding through galaxy after galaxy. He had been abducted, and he could not have been more happy. The Aliens, or as Briag came to call them "his buds", knew he was not like most humans, he didn't want to catch Extraterrestrials to kill them and do an autopsy, he was actually genuinely curious, he wanted to reach out to them, and he did, which they accepted. They traveled throughout the cosmos together for what seemed like a very long time, though it was only a couple years.
There came a time when the Aliens knew they would not be able to keep Braig with them, which saddened them to say the least. He was like the life of the ship. With a deep regret, when Braig was asleep, they found a distant world and dropped him off. This world, was Radiant Garden. When Braig came too, he was not sad, he knew it would eventually come to an end. But he was a bit skeptical. He did not know this new world, but would that stop him? Of course not! He began to explore, which ended up in him finding quite a scene..
There was another ship, not a thing like the one he traveled on..this ship was red, and shaped like some manner of creature, covered in dings and dirt. What better way to start a life on a new planet, than to explore a potentially dangerous crash site, eh? He looked around, picking up bits of equipment that were sparking a little, dying out as the power continued to drop. "Hey man, anybody there?" He didn't get any response, so he figured whoever was in this ship had already been evacuated, or abandoned it. He turned to leave and behind him, he heard a small groan. He turned back and rushed to the area the groan had originated from, to find the body of a young man unconscious, hidden by some collapsed roofing. Braig moved the wreckage, and grabbed the young man, supporting him over his shoulder, he carried him outside of the wreckage and placed him on the ground a bit of a ways off, just in case a surprise after-explosion happened (Thankfully, it didn't). He began to poke and prod the young man's chest "Hey...you alive? Dude? Duuuuuuuude?" The young man issued another small groan, opening his eyes slightly as he began to regain consciousness. "Whew, gave me a scare bro, thought I might have been too late. Whats your name?" "..." the young man replied with silence, trying to stand by himself, yet failing miserably. Braig laughed a bit and helped him up, supporting him as they began to walk towards the town in the distance. "Come on bro, take it easy. Whats your name?" The young man remained silent once more. "Dude! Don't leave me hanging, at least tell me your name, man, I just saved your life!"
"...Squall". Braig looked over at the young man and smirked. "See, that wasn't so hard, was it Paul?" He was trying to make him talk..and it worked. "....its Squall." "Oh, my bad bro." The trip to the town consisted mainly of Silence from Squall, and questions unanswered by Braig. "So where you from?" "...." "Why are you alone?" "...." Eventually, Braig gave up trying to communicate with Squall, and got directions from a local to the hospital. Braig stuck with Squall for a while, just to make sure he would be okay, before leaving, and was surprised to hear Squall call after him as he left the hospital room. "...Whats your name?" "Oh, forget to say bro, sorry. Its Braig." And with that, Braig flashed him a peace sign and left.
After having left Squall in the hospital, Braig was stopped by a man, Ansem the Wise, a rather intelligent fellow. Ansem, knowing that Braig was not of this World, took him in, giving him shelter, as well as an apprenticeship. The apprenticeship was easilly gained, due to the knowledge Braig had gained from his travels with the Extra-terrestrials. Braig worked along with other apprentices as well, tagging along with Xehanort, the person he attached himself to, really.
The day came later on, that an Experiment affected all of the Apprentices and even Ansem himself. The apprentices became Torn, corrupted, two halves of a whole. Braig became a Heartless of the same name, and a Nobody, with the Name of Xigbar. The Heartless versions of the apprentices had laid low for what appeared to be the longest time, only recently resurfacing, in opposition to their Nobody counterparts. They inhabit half of the "Nobodies" world, gathering strength for a conflict that is inevitable.
Role Playing Sample: Braig was sitting backwards on a long-backed chair, his head thrown back as he watched the dull grey of the clouds in the dark sky pass. He let out a breathy sigh and closed his eyes, parting his lips in somewhat of a frown as he spoke aloud to himself.
"Man, this is bogus. So damn boring...My chakras are all like BZZZZZZZT!"
Braig jumped from the chair and started walking around the base of the Dark XII, mumbling to himself. Where was everybody? It got so boring when everybody was off doing their own thing. Whilst thinking to himself and wandering around, a wonderful idea came to Braig, making him break out in a large smile. That Keybearer, Sora, he lived on an Island! And where there was and Island...there was water, and where there was water...most likely waves.
"Dude, Surfs up!"
De-materializing on the spot, Braig re-appeared in his own chambers, grabbing a dark purple surfboard he had made during his free time, and threw off his clothes, replacing them with a pair of baggy swim trunks. With a smile, he vanished once more, off to try and catch a decent wave.
