In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Jason sighed slightly as he wondered how best to explain this. He knew that they might have had a hard time understanding his words as he knew it from Observation. They were learning through word of mouth. And even then, Jason was not sure if they would even understand or trust what he said as he was a nobody himself. But he had to try. If more people knew of the threat that was out in the world, then more would be able to fight back easier.
"Kingdom Hearts is a collection of hearts released by what is known as the keyblade."[/color] An image of the Kingdom Key appeared in front of Jason "Very few people amongst the worlds are capable of wielding the keyblade, but when they kill a heartless, it's heart goes to Kingdom Hearts. Anyone else who kills a heartless will simply release the hearts back to darkness where it will reform as another heartless. The heartless feed off of hearts and consume them to grow stronger. The more hearts a heartless consumes, the stronger one becomes. Some heartless are small, like a Shadow."[/color] A shadow image appeared as he said this. "And some can be immense, like a Darkside."[/color] As he said this, A Darkside appeared behind him.
"As you can see, there are several different forms of heartless, each with different powers to use as their own. And it is for that reason, that it isn't a matter of 'Kill the heartless or don't kill the heartless'. Its a matter of... Kill all the enemies, heartless and nobodies... Which in retrospect doesn't seem to make my existence any easier."[/color] He then turned to Rose as she had some comments of her own.
"Yes, they are fighting. Yes, they would be more effective as whole people, not halves. However, the two groups do not necessarily want that. The nobodies of Organization XIII want their hearts back because they are devoid of emotion and feeding only on their memories. Most would probably like to get back to a normal life which seems likely to happen if they could become whole. But the heartless of Dark XII only wish to consume the hearts of the worlds and turn all the worlds to darkness and all the people to heartless. They don't have regards for human life and feast on the hearts of humans as they wish. So they wouldn't work together. As for becoming whole people once more.... Organization XIII believes that by completing Kingdom Hearts and calling upon its power, they will be able to get their hearts back. But there is... Another method... But thats something for me to know, not for them to figure out."[/color] He said, remembering his method of becoming human once again. He didn't plan on letting Organization XIII use it, and with the security systems in place to prevent it from being used, they would never be able to.
Xabar listened intently, stroking his beard . . . or, what would be his beard if he had one. Upon the finish, Xabar said, "So let me get this straight. We kill the heartless and nobodies simply because they're evil, and leave the rest to the keyblade masters. Am I correct here?" At this point, Xabar kept stroking his chin and waited for a response.
"Another method? What exactly do you mean? You saying you can recombine a Heartless and it's Nobody?" This interested Rose. As much fun as Halen was, he would be better if he were whole.

A soft nod appeared from Jason as he turned toward Xabar. "To an extent, that is correct. The keyblade wielders require our help to take some down. They obviously can't finish every single one off. But by using our help, they can slowly help reduce the numbers. So we are just as important as they are."[/color]
He then turned toward Rose and said "I can and I have. Unfortunately, by the time I had done so, my heart was so corrupt that it caused me to separate into Heartless and Nobodies. I have been amongst the worlds for a very long time, long before you can even dream of. And over those many years, I have had to aid thousands of people til I get to a point where I can return to being human. Think of it as a means of repentance. I have to repent for my sins as a human before I can return to being one. Understand?"[/color]
