In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

There aren't enough praises in the world I'd like to give to wonderful coders for the Proboards community. The following have contributed to World Destiny in some way: W3 Schools for countless how-tos and countless of other souls who have helped get WD up to where it is.

Weapon: Energy Rifles - a pair of custom ray guns, suspiciously akin to Needlers. The spray of glowing needles they fire trace targets, though can be avoided and/or fooled, and can be charged for a very powerful ‘Giant Shot’. They also combine together.
Powers: His element is space, allowing him to freely manipulate the surrounding area, hang upside-down, walk on the walls, teleport himself and his arrows, and seriously confuse people who are used to gravity.
One other noteworthy ability is something he picked up to compensate for his missing eye - a 'shadowsight' of sorts, rather like the way that Zexion and Riku smell people through darkness. This enables Xigbar to pick up on anything moving around him in about a twenty-foot radius, and further if he concentrates - however, extending the range limits his awareness of other directions. Generally he uses his one 'good' eye to watch and his 'bad' one to keep, well, an eye behind hi, and to the sides.
His 'other' sight is rather akin to that of a cat's, though in grayscale; it picks up motion first and foremost. Unlike a cat's sight, however, anything stationary is a dull blur, blending in with the rest of the surroundings.
With this layered beneath the world of color, Xigbar sees things in a slightly different way, and thanks to his oftentime sniper position in any fight, he notices a lot of things others miss.
Picture(optional): You know what he looks like.
Appearance: Thin and scarred, Xigbar’s primary features are an eyepatch over his right eye and a jagged scar on his left cheek. He looks rather intimidating, though looks are deceiving. Xigbar’s rather wolfish grin is quick to come and slow to leave, though he has a rather frightening scowl, and knows how to use it.
His long, white-streaked hair is pulled back into a simple low ponytail, and gives many the impression that Xigbar is, or was, an old man. Again, appearances are deceptive - he may have silver streaks, but he was never exactly old to begin with (Vexen, known to Xigbar as Vixen, holds the title of oldest member) and is even younger at heart.
Personality: Powerful he may be, but those who get to know him soon learn he is one of the ‘lesser evils’ of the Organization as far as dangerous personality is concerned, and the ‘greatest annoyance’. Sarcastic, sardonic, and largely unhelpful, Xigbar is a generally laid-back individual, with a surfer attitude and the accent to match. He loves to find weak points in other people’s armor and chip away at them, taunting, sniping, and doing everything in his power, it would seem, to get himself assassinated as soon as possible. Despite his appearance, he acts largely like a delinquent college student, focused more on partying than studying, and despite his spot in the Organization, is not the most trusted member by a long shot.
Tied into this is his reckless attitude, his willingness to charge right in, guns blazing, or to just do whatever he wants - and, if challenged, will do anything to prove he can. Naturally, however, since the nobody hates to be predicted, if it becomes clear he is expected to do something by someone other than the Superior, he’ll go and do whatever he wants - whether or not it coincides with the prior expectation.
Xigbar is also a known prankster, one who loves to live life one day at a time, and therefore one who makes notoriously bad decisions. Despite his obnoxiousness, Xigbar is amazingly loyal to those who he deems friends, though he has problems with authority - a loose cannon if ever there was one, he does largely only what he either agrees with, wants to, or is bullied into. Even if it is to his own detriment, he tends to do things his own way, even going so far as to change how a trap was supposed to be in order to provide more entertainment.
Xigbar may be unpredictable, intolerable, flirtatious, ungovernable, impudent, and just plain impossible at times, but he makes a good ally, if you can stand his sense of humor. He’s also great at parties - just keep him away from the alcohol.
History/Background: Braig was an apprentice to Ansem the Wise, one of six, who experimented with aspects of the heart. They built an underground facility in Radiant Garden, and due to their experimentation, discovered the heartless and the darkness incarnate. Ansem cut off his involvement, but Xehanort, later to be known as Xemnas and Ansem respectively, continued the experiments, casting Ansem out of the castle and taking over himself.
Braig, never exactly one to take things seriously in the first place, was suddenly far over his head; the heartless created took a very real toll on the six, causing them to lose their own hearts. It was Xehanort, who had taken the name Ansem upon the original’s banishment, who rearranged his own name, adding an ‘x’, and encouraged the others to follow suit, claiming they had to stand together to regain what they lost, and continue research of the heart. Braig was the second to do so, and therefore became the second member of what later became known as Organization XIII.
As a nobody, Xigbar’s task soon became to recruit members, as he was one that seemed to have nothing better to do than to annoy everyone else. He took to this, rather.... well, though had it been another, perhaps there would be more than just thirteen members, and perhaps not have had such interesting characters such as the pacifistic musician Demyx, the equally impossible Axel and the flower-loving Marluxia join. According to Xemnas, the only one he got right was Saïx - Roxas’s involvement was not due to Xigbar.
Xigbar took to antagonizing Sora as part of the many strange ways he kept himself entertained, as well as... other, probably less healthy means that left certain Organization members rather scarred upon learning a few things that happen at night. He eventually met his end, and as a parting shot, when Sora asked about Roxas’s identity, smirked - “Wouldn’t you like to know?”
Xigbar’s revival left him a little confused, then greatly confused, and then, literally moments after, he was back to his old self. The castle slowly returned to its old state as Xemnas brought back the Organization - though Xigbar had little idea why, as the man seemed to regard them all as worthless failures, and see them with a new, burning hatred. Why Xemnas had brought back the self-same Organization that had failed and/or betrayed him first was something the nobody never knew, and, for once, thought it best not to even bring up. Most of them were the same - though the revival did change a few of the members, Xemnas himself, and Axel, being prime examples.
As for Xigbar?
He’d not changed one bit.

If ever asked about what happened to his eye, he will always give a different answer. His replies have varied from, 'Sniped Saïx. X marks the spot, right?' to 'You should have seen the other guy.' Apparently Zexion is the only one who knows what really happened. Role Playing Sample:
