In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Even was simply bored to death. As he stalked around the Castle, he wondered why in the world it was so empty. Sure, Relena was nowhere to be seen, probably out raping some poor human. Ansem was always nowhere to be seen. Elaeus? Who knows. Even didn't really care for many of the Dark XII. Relena was fun to poke fun at, Elaeus was smart, and his company could be relatively peaceful. Myde was always nice to be around. After all, it had been Even who had discovered him.
Speaking of Myde, where had he been lately? Even hadn't seen him in...goodness knows how long. To be honest, Even couldn't remember the last time he had seen Myde. The musical Heartless had been kinda..."fun" to hang around with whenever Even had nothing to experiment on.
Which...Even probably could go experiment on something, but that'd require some sort of activity on his part, and at the moment, since nobody else was about, he didn't feel like being active.
Myde slipped in from the shadows--jeez, why was everything so darn boring! He had even stooped as low as collecting Hearts himself just for his own entertainment, instead of making the lower forms of whatever-shadow do it for him. He rubbed his hands together, thinking of how gross it had been.
Him? Myde? Get his hands dirty? It was unheard of. That's how bored he had gotten. Wiping his hands on his expensive looking-coat, he immediately regretted it. Great. Now his coat was a victim. Poor thing!
So, yup. He was here--he doubted anyone was here anyway. No one ever was. Ever.
So NATURALLY he would POOF! right in the time Even was strolling around.
Even had just been thinking of one Dark XII member specifically, so it was only natural that for some reason, that would be the only Heartless he would run into. Even narrowed his eyes as he looked at Myde as he slipped out of the Shadows.
"Dandy time for you to show up IX. Right whenever nobody seems to be here."
Even in all actually was happy that Myde was back. It would give him something to do, somebody to talk to...or...he really didn't know what he and Myde would do...which made him investigate his "feelings" as to why he was happy that Myde was back.
"So where have you been IX? Abandoning your duties here, that's for sure."
So much for trying to sneak out the moment that he saw Even. The ginger Heartless nearly jumped out of his skin when he heard his fellow...Dark Mate? He snorted inwardly at the thought of that. Way to go, Myde, he thought to himself--making something kind of "scary" sound dirty!
He turned to look over his shoulder wearily, his long earring dragging over the white fur of his coat.
"H-hey! Even!" he exclaimed. "How're ya?"
"So where have you been IX? Abandoning your duties here, that's for sure."
He dropped his head dramatically, a feeling of gloom oozing out of his body and spreading over the castle.
"Actually I've been so bored I've had nothing to do BUT my duties!" he said, as he straightened up his spine, looking at Even. He knew his "Feelings" were oozing out, but he had enough sense that Even wouldn't be as affected. Quickly, the "Feeling" was sucked back up.
"I mean--look at this! My new coat! Ruined!" he roared dramatically.
"Duties? What duties might that be? Raping beautiful male and female humans with your darkness, and harvesting their hearts for yourself?"
Even could tell by Myde's shift in darkness that he was extending his powers toward Even, probably trying to make him feel some sort of positive emotion toward the Heartless. Then the darkness decreased slightly, probably as Number IX realized that Even, being a Heartless, couldn't feel emotions, and therefore the power was useless.
"Your new coat? I honestly do not care...about your new coat. What I care about is that you listen to orders and wait for new orders." Even said coldly. "But to be honest, I'm glad that you're back." As Even said this, you could clearly tell that there was zero emotion in his voice, but if Even had been able to feel any emotion at all, it would be happyness to be sure.
"Duties? What duties might that be? Raping beautiful male and female humans with your darkness, and harvesting their hearts for yourself?"
Myde smiled impishly at Even for this. How the blue Heartless knew him so well, he didn't know...then again, he wasn't too hard to really figure out, at all. Then he frowned--"Hey, I collected Hearts for better intent, too!" he said with a huff as he put his hands on his hips.
He really was so...animated. Lifting a single finger to his lush lips, he grinned. "Didn't I tell you I was bored?"
He paused dramatically at the mention of Even not caring about his coat. "I'll have you know this is a very fine coat indeed! Top of the line and most definately expensive! Not to mention it makes me look very attractive to those meatbags," he said, brushing an invisible stain off of his coat.
"...What I care about is that you listen to orders and wait for new orders."
He sulked--already he was getting a lecture. And so soon, too! But then the Mad Scientist mentioned something about being happy he was here.
"Awww, Even!" he said, stepping in closer, smiling as wiiiide as a Cheshire Cat. "C'mere, I'll let you hug me. <3"
