In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Yuffie stood in the middle of the Second District, her shiruken in her hands and a grin on her face. With a yawn and a stretch, she dropped her Funa Shiruken and sat down, catching her breath. "Man, it's like they were never gonna end!" she said to herself, reflecting on the battle that had just ended a moment ago. Tons of Shadows, Blue Rhapsodys, others she didn't care to name...but all had fallen to her. As she stood, she started giggling uncontrolably, finding the fact that near 100 Heartless couldn't match her hilarious.
And, through all that time, didn't notice that a Guard Armor had formed behind her, ready to attack.
Rose looked out into the courtyard. She had heard the sound of battle. There was a young black haired woman fighting dozens of Heartless, and seemingly enjoying herself. However, she hadn't quite noticed the three story armored thing behind her. Rose unholstered her shotgun.
"Antique, that's not a good thing, is it?"
Halen glared at the giant Heartless. He held out a hand, and his Falchion appeared in a puff of darkness. Fight time, he said.
(until futher notice, everyone can hear Halen when he talks.)
Antique extended her right hand, and stretched out her fingers. Her sword, Clarent, appeared at her beck and call. It was a tad bit strange seeing the petite girl carrying such a large and midevil looking claymore, but the girl was probably an anomoly in itself.
She turned to smile at Rose, and shook her head from left to right. "No, that's not a a good thing at all!"
Antique was just glad that Clarent had decided to take a solid shape today--she really needed to ask someone about that....but how was she supposed to, when she was probably the sole survivor of her world?
"Either way, let's go!" she said, as she went in to charge.
As Yuffie finally managed to catch her breath, she spotted two other people running at her with weapons. She started to go at them, thinking them as enemies, but saw that they were focusing on something behind her.
As she turned around slowly, she saw a clawed hand swipe at her, and barely rolled out fo the way of it. "Stupid Heartless." she muttered to herself, reaching for her Fuma Shiruken. But all her hand caught was air.
Her Shiruken. It was still on the ground! As she dodged another attack, she saw that the others were closer to it then her.
"Hey! Can you throw me my weapon? It's over there!" she yelled, pointing at te star shaped weapon. Then, she turned to the Heartless and thrust her hand at it, casting Blizzaga on its left hand, freezing it solid and causing it to drop to the ground.
Rose opened her satchel, and pulled out a single bottle with a cloth stuck in the mouth. "Little Busy! Halen, light it!" Halen shot a small black flame at the cloth, and it caught fire. Rose chucked it as hard as she could. "Fire in the hole!" The bottle flipped through the air, and impacted on the giant Heartless. The glass shattered, and the contents of the bottle, gasoline, splattered all over the creature. The fire on the lit cloth reacted with the gas fuse, and a huge fireball mushroomed on the Heartless. holding her gun in her left hand, she pulled out her hammer in her right, and began swinging her way through the mob of heartless. Halen leapt into the air as high as he could and took aim. Icicles formed on his hands, and he fired them into the mob.
Antique skidded to a stop just before the thing like looked like lots of claymores in a star-like design. Her head shot up out of focus from attacking the Guard Armor.
"Hey! Can you throw me my weapon? It's over there!"
Without even thinking, she picked up the lethal-looking star and threw it in the direction of the girl--like a giant frisbee, right? Hopefully the throw wasn't too bad of a near-miss. It wasn't her weapon, after-all--it wasn't her soul--it felt a little bit too awkward to do something like that.
It only took this time for the Guard Armor to knock the air right out of her lungs.
Yuffie saw the blue haired girl throw her Funa Shiruken, and ran towards it, snagging it from midair. But she was so distracted in getting it that she let the Guard Armor attack the girl on accident. With a small cry, Yuffie ran at the Guard Armor, jumping and landing a solid kick square in the back of its head. The head, being unattached to the body, flew forward and disoriented the Heartless, which was enough to let her cast a Thundaga spell on the rest of the body. As the bolts hit, the ice-encased hand broke into shards of metal that formed a heart, which floated into the sky.
Yuffie then jumped off and jumped on it again, this time using the body a a ramp to get to the injured girl. Flipping off the top, she flipped over a swiping hand and got to the girl, seperating her and the Heartless. Pointing at the girl, a green aura covered her hand, then around the girl. Having finished the Cura, Yuffie held her Funa Shiruken at the ready.
Halen landed, clearing the way with his machine gun like hail of ice. He took a single look at the guard armor, and growling loudly, his eyes and white lines glowing red, he launched himself at the Guard Armor, latching onto an arm, and hacking away mercilessly with his sword.
Rose also saw Antique get hit. She flipped the shotgun out, and began spraying the heartless around her with hot lead and firey retribution. She didn't notice, but her eyes began glowing red, too...
Just recently Cured, Antique got back to her feet, shook her head from left to right to get her bearings, and picked up Clarent. Twirling the large claymore in her hands to make sure everything was balanced, and shook her head in thanks to the girl with the large star-like weapon.
Her eyes darted in the direction of Rose and Halen, to make sure she stayed out of line of friendly-fire. Pretty sure she wasn't going to get sprayed with the gun-fire, she dashed--rather quickly, mind you, for a girl with a weapon at least as big as she was--torward the remaining arm. Being careful to avoid the feet (she didn't want to get the air knocked out of her again), she leaped onto the arm daintily, much like a butterfly, and used the momentum from that to land on the creature's shoulders--using that as a vantage point to start slicing at the arm from there.
And people said being small was a disadvantage!
Into the third hit, Clarent oozed in hydromancy, and started a web of ice up across the arm--making it much too heavy to move--it fell to the ground.
Yuffie gave a smile to the girl as she nodded in thanks, then watched as she attacked the Guard Armor. Wow...that's one brave girl, to be hit like that then attack again. Looking over to the other girl and her strange Neoshadow, she thought for a second.
Let's take care of the Guard Armor first. Yuffie leaded forward a bit before she started sprinting at the Heartless, her Shuriken in hand. As she approached, she saw the other hand fall and changed her course to attack it. A blue aura covered her hand again as she prepared a Blizzaga once again. With the combined effects of the two spells, then it should be brittle... She cast the spell, hitting the hand directly and hearing the metal expand as the ice expanded inside. She then switched her strategy, the blue aura turning red. A Firaga spell shot at the hand, hitting the weakening metal and causing it to break down just as the other had.
It was time to focus on the body and head.

Rose holstered her shotgun, and pulled out her sword and hammer. Her and Halen began giving off a red aura as they connected. Halen leapt from the arm of the Guard Armor to the body, and Rose jumped. she landed on the head of a large body, and jumped from Heartless to Heartless until she got to the Armor. She leapt hard, and got close enough to sink her sword into its body. Halen did the same next to her, and then grabbed onto Rose's hammer. Acting as one, they began to rain sledgehammer blows on the giant Heartless.
Antique felt a rush of relief warm through her as yet, another arm fell to the ground. Now all she had to do was worry about the torso, and the head. Being very careful to avoid friendly-hits from Rose and Halen--who were...kind of acting strange--she'd have to ask about that later--she ducked quickly away from a thrust of the Heartless's body.
Okay! All she had to do was hang in for a little bit more!
Swinging the oversized Claymore over her head, barely noticing it's blue glow, she tensed her legs as she launched herself into the air. Without arms, the creature was going to have a hard time defending itself--and she knew it, hating to be able take advantage of something like that. But what could she do? Antique was a knight--and she loved Traverse Town. She had to protect it.
Grasping both hands onto the hilt, still midair, she pierced right through the head--a "merciful kill", as the knights from Eucharistia would call it. She felt it go through--there was no way it didn't. With it poofing into dust, Antique dropped to the ground, and rolled away. Hopefully the mysterious girl with the star, Rose and Halen could take care of the body.
Yuffie smiled as she saw the girl stab her sword right through the Heartless' head, then snapped her eyes onto the body. "My turn!" she said playishly, holding her shiruken over her head and focusing her power on it. With a puff of smoke, it became larger and much more deadly. And to add to the deadliness factor, a red aura enveloped it.
"Take this, Heartless! YAHHHH!" With that yell, she released the shiruken and watched it as it sped at the body, exploding as it came into contact. The body exploded into a million pieces (give or take) and the heart was released. As the boss Heartless disappeared, the other Heartless followed, save Halen. With an exhausted sigh, Yuffie sat down and wiped her forehead, which was beaded with sweat.
Rose and Halen kicked away from the Guard Armor just as it died, backflipped it perfect unison. They landed, perfectly mirroring each other. The red glow faded. "What in the hell was that? It felt like... we were one mind opperating two bodies." Halen shrugged, and began toying with the tip of his antennae, unconcerned. Rose smacked him in the back of the head. "Stop acting cute. It's creeping me out." Halen growled at her playfully, seemingly... teasing her.
Wobbling to her feet, Antique stood up and brushed her clothing off from dirt, and made sure to pull her fat over her head just to make sure that none of it fell out. Certain that she was still okay, she returned Clarent to her back, and smiled, as she stretched her right hand's fingers back and forth. Her strength must have been returning...that was always a good thing.
She wasn't near tip-top strength, but she was close enough. Which meant that Mikhail didn't always have to worry about her!
Breathing in a gasp of air, and pulling an annoying long hair from her eyes--she needed to get a haircut, she really did--she turned to make sure that everyone was alright. She smiled at Rose and Halen, who seemed to be playing; which meant they were probably okay, and turned to the girl with the star.
Offering her hand, she reached down to the girl. "I'm okay. Rose and Halen seem to be just fine. Are you okay, Lady....?" she asked, trailing off because she didn't know her name.
