In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

With a smile, Yuffie took the girl's hands and stood up. "My name's Yuffie Kisaragi. Thanks for the help back there, by the way." As she looked over to the girl and her Heartless, she couldn't help but smile. "Well, that's actually...cute. I just wanna hug it!" She turned back to the girl with the strange hair and grinned again. "So, you got a name?"
"This is what happens when you act cute, dude. People stop seeing you as a threat and start seeing you as something to hug! You're a friggin' Heartless! A monster from the darkness! Start acting like it! I've seen puppies more vicious than you!"
Halen just cocked his head. He didn't like being mean. He definitely didn't feel vicious. He sat down on the payment, and tweaked his antennae again.
Antique watched Yuffie's eyes move onto Neo-Shadow. With a giant grin, she nodded her head eagarly. "Isn't he? He's soooo cute I definately understand why you'd want to hug it!" she said, and wrapped her arms around herself, just to exemplify just how adorable she thought that Halen was. Especially when he played with his antanae.
"Sorry, my name's Antique vi Fre--I mean, Faustus," she said, tripping over her own name, and laughing about it. "Yuffie, would you like to meet Halen?" she said, glancing over at the Heartless, and walking over to Rose and Halen, not really giving the girl with the giant deadly star time to answer.
"You guys did great," she said, smiling at the duo. She fell to her knees and hugged Halen. "You were so fierce! <3"
With a few hesitant steps, Yuffie went over to the redhead girl and squatted in front of the Heartless. "Hmm...you do seem different...with those lines and all..." Thoughtfully, she stood up and pondered that, then remembered her manners and held out a hand to the girl. "Name's Yuffie! And I'm assuming you're...Rose? And the NeoShadow's Halen?" She turned back to Halen and said, "Well, you seem friendly, so I guess its nice to meet you!" and hugged him.
Rose facepalmed. "Great, now everyone's hugging him. Halen, shadow, now." Halen looked at her with his eyes narrowed slightly, then sank into the ground, hiding himself in her shadow. She rested her forehead in her hand, and acknowledged Yuffie. "Yeah, I'm Rose. Pleased to meet you, blah, blah, blah. Now, maybe we should get out of here before more of them show up?" Rose shook her head, and without waiting for the two girls to answer climbed up the wall, and stepped onto the pathway above. "Well? Let's go!"
Antique found herself momentarily pouting as Halen sank into Rose's shadow. It wasn't every day that you got to hug a Heartless--sure, she had wanted to hug the one humanoid Heartless she knew of, but she doubted that could have ever ended well. It was kind of funny...Rose had a heartless named Halen...and Roze, the humanoid...well, WAS a Heartless. She wondered how he was doing....
But that was cut short when the red-haired girl introduced the idea of well--leaving to safety. Which sounded just fine to her.
She turned to Yuffie, a bit of a mischivious grin on her face as she gestured to the wall.
With a nod and a smile, Yuffie said, "I'll take the shortcut." and jumped, reaching the top of the wall in a single bound. She then turned to Antique and said, "Need a hand up, or are you oka...WATCH OUT!" And with the fling of her wrist, she threw her shiruken at a Yellow Opera that had been sneaking up behind Antique. As the shiruken hit, it exploded in a blast of darkness.
Yuffie sighed, then chuckled. "Well, wasn't expecting that, hmm? You mind grabbing that" she said, gesturing at the shiruken. "And Rose is right, we should hurry."
"How hard would it be to clear a few buildings out? I mean, isn't there some kind of spell that keeps the heartless out most of the time? The first district is usually pretty safe. Why is that? What makes some areas safe and others not?"Rose thought alittle bit, and started towards the entrance to the first district. "More importantly, can whatever it is that keeps places safe be applied to other areas?"

Antique let out a little yelp as the giant star flew past her, destroying the Yellow Opera. "Th-thank you!" she gasped, and picked up the shuriken off of the ground, tossing it up to the other girl. At least, she hoped her throwing wasn't too bad. She was unfamiliar with that kind of weapon.
The young knight knelt, and leapt up, jumping from the side of two close buildings to climb to the top. It was a bit clumsy, but it was workable.
"Those are some hard questions there, Rose...I don't know that kind of stuff at all, but I have an idea of a couple of people that might have a good idea...!"
Rose's eyes went wide. She had just been bitching, but..."Wait, you actually know someone who could answer my questions? I was just bitching. Sweet! Who are they?" Rose smiled. If someone actually knew the answers, then Rose wanted to meet them. She had lots of questions. Lots.
Yuffie just nodded and started walking in that general direction Antique mentioned, thinking as she walked. Hmm...maybe the RGURC could meet this Jadis and work soemthing out...I'd better let Antique do the talking. As she walked, she said, "Well, let's go!" and walked in.
