In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

A large shape swooped in low over the districts of Traverse Town. It was late at night, so not many people would understand what the large creature was; A dragon.
Luckily for them, this dragon was only after one person. The maiden was proving hard to find- whether or not this was coincidence was yet to be revealed.
Little Brother... where are we supposed to start looking?
Atop the creature's head rested a tall man in ornate armor, with a large spear like weapon strapped to his back. The man was nestled within a space behind and between Dragon's crests, protected from the elements produced from the high velocity of the flight.
Well... judging by this feeling, we'll run into her somewhere within this area... so slow down a bit.
The immense creature slowed his flight to a very leisurely pace, while the man, small in comparison to the creature, examined the surroundings. All he had was the memory of the maiden's name, aura, and appearance, but the aura would be strong enough. Atlantace closed his eyes, inhaling deeply through his nose, as if smelling the air. Several smells were present, meaning there were several distinct auras that he was familiar with, not necessarily being able to associate each one with a face, until Bloodbane flew over a certain area.
Wait! Go back. I want to look down here.
Bloodbane agreed, wheeling off in the sky. As they neared Atlantace smiled. This is definitely it...
Perfect, I can fit down there, too. I'll be dropping you off... and then after a few minutes, I'll be back.
Atlantace nodded, securing his weapon and adjusting his armor, as the enormous dragon landed in the street. The landing had all the grace of a cat's; it was quiet, and the street was just barely big enough to fit Bloodbane's massive girth.
Atlantace placed his Dragonhelm upon his head. It was purely ornamental- in fact, had it been any other occasion, he would have left it within its case. However, the helm concealed his face without restricting his breathing or mobility, and it didn't look too suspicious.
Jumping off of Bloodbane, the knight landed in the street, and the dragon jumped up into the air, flying high above the rooftops, perfectly disguised against the night sky- except for the fact that his silhouette could be seen against the stars... but it would take a pretty observant person to figure that out.
Atlantace silently walked toward the source of the maiden's aura, smiling inwardly. What secret agenda could he possibly have?
Like a wolf on the hunt, Atlantace continued onward.
Antique supposed it wasn't too bad of a night. As usual, the girl was having a hard time getting to sleep...perhaps in a few hours, she would be, but currently...she just couldn't join the rest of Traverse Town in their slumber.
But she had made a promise to Mikhail that she wouldn't be out for too long--they had argued about it afterall. And she promised that she would be out with someone she knew...and Yuffie didn't seem to be that bad of a choice. After all, she needed to hang out with more girls around her own age.
Pulling her long red ponytail to the side of her head--which was completely bizarre to her now, she turned around the corner, and paused.
Where in the world was Yuffie? Was it too early?
Mikhail had been so obsessed with her safety lately, after she had woken up from her long slumber. She appreciated, and really, really did like the attention he gave her but sometimes it was just a little bit overwhelming. It was kind of strange to have someone dote on her--she had been an expendable knight in her last world afterall...who had cared if she came back a little bit late?
They had only seperated a little while ago--he had left her at the bakery, thinking a treat was going to keep her busy and out of trouble while he did his own thing. Something about the Guardians. That didn't even seem accessable to her when she piked an interest in it.
But worse was the undeniable gut feeling that something very strange was going to happen.
She folded her arms. Had she really become that simple?
((Sorry it took so long, Xepte. I promise it'll pick up really soon!))
Atlantace froze; a prickling feeling creeping up the back of his neck.
He turned around slowly, cautiously, but the area behind him was devoid of activity, danger, interest, or anything else that would have caused the prickling sensation. Shaking his head, he stalked forward more, drawing closer to the Amber aura.
He squinted behind the dragonhelm- an ornate helmet that covered his head, but left his lower jaw visible. It resembled the head and upper jaw of a dragon, with the eye sockets being open so the wearer could look out. It was quite impressive, but Atlantace felt that it impeded his vision too much, so he usually didn't use it- but today was different.
He stalked around another corner, peering around it before moving on. His quarry was getting closer, and so he stopped, waiting.
A few seconds later, the girl appeared from around a corner. Atlantace did a double take- her hair... it's bright red...? Weird...
As she stopped, looking around, Atlantace looked around as well. If she was expecting someone, it would probably prove difficult for the Dragon knight to complete his... mission. He started walking towards the red head, slowly and quietly, stopping about ten steps in front of her.
"You know... it's dangerous to be out alone at night... especially during... the witching hour..." Atlantace's face was covered by the shadows of the night, but his confident smirk could be seen, as it was the only part of his face not covered by the helmet.
Antique turned around at the sound of footsteps, offering a welcoming and warming smile. "Yuffie! Please don't sneak up on...Oh..." she said quietly, her smile faltering with uncertainty when she saw the ornamental dressed person. She breathed in, smiling softly.
A look of recognition crossed her features, and a nagging sense of "hey-you-should-know-this-person" flooded over her. Amber eyes looked at him--she could barely see his face...
"You know... it's dangerous to be out alone at night... especially during... the witching hour..."
"But there are plenty of witches...actuallly, sorceresses and wizards around here. Why would it be so dangerous?" she asked quietly, eying him uneasily.
The young knight took a step backward, her gut shouting at her to flee. Her hand nonchalantly flexed for Clarent to appear at will, though it didn't--not quite yet.
"Can I help you with something, sir? You're not from around here," she whispered quietly to him.
Atlantace smiled. She seemed to recognize him, just as he had recognized her, but with less clarity. Interesting... I wonder, is it the helmet, or was I invisible to her in that dream-scape?
"And my name is not Yuffie, but you already realized that one, obviously." He took several steps forward, looking at the girl before him. Her eyes were still that entrancing amber...
"As for how you can help me..." Atlantace's smirk grew into a slightly mischievous smile as he spoke. "Maybe you can tell me why I'm here."
The dream-state interaction had been wildly vivid for Atlantace, enough that he was drawn from Radiant Garden to Traverse town, simply to find the young lady that those haunting, mysterious, enchanting... Her eyes are more interesting in this reality then they were before...
He pulled his gaze away from her eyes, looking up into the air. A silhouette passed over several patches of stars, and Atlantace knew that Bloodbane would be landing soon.
"As for why it is dangerous out here... well, you never know what could be waiting around the corner. The night holds many mysteries- some of which human eyes are not meant to look at."
His attention focused upon the more than slightly frightened female standing in front of him, and he took yet another step forward, now only a few feet away from her. The Aura emanating from her was tainted with small amounts of her confusion and fear, something that would have normally made Atlantace give up the sinister facade.
However, it was one of those odd times, where some solar alignment was causing the darker side to come out; I want to either fight or chase her... I am certainly acting strangely...
The thought was a bare whisper within his mind, as his more primal senses were engaged at the moment.
"Witches, Sorcerers, and Dragons, Oh my..." His smirk was growing more mischievous with each step, closing the distance between their positions. Now that he was closer to the girl, she would clearly be able to see the fair colored skin of Atlantace's lower jaw, and if she looked hard enough, she would see the light of the street reflected off of his silvery eyes...
He kept looking at her eyes. And Antique was not quite sure why he kept taking steps toward her. It was continuously setting her on edge. Smiling sweetly, though obvious she was nervous, she watched him as she took a step backward. “Why, sir, would I know that? Maybe you’re seeking Lady Jadis?” she asked, since Jadis was an important someone who resided in Traverse Town. “Or perhaps the wizard Merlin?” she said, taking another step backward. She had met him when she had first arrived to Traverse Town—if it weren’t for those two people, she had no idea who this guy was looking at.
Backed against a wall, the red-head sucked in a breath, and put her best game-face on as she stared the much bigger knight before her.
"As for why it is dangerous out here... well, you never know what could be waiting around the corner. The night holds many mysteries- some of which human eyes are not meant to look at."
It sounded like he was one of those adults that told kids scary story’s to freak them out. “There’s nothing to be scared of in Traverse Town!” she said. Of course she would say something like that, if not just to calm herself down because she was getting rather nervous…especially once he closed the distance. Feeling cornered, she chanced to look up at him—and underneath the mask, he looked human enough. Those eyes.
