In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Kade's bare legs swung to and fro as she sat atop the bell tower in Traverse Town. This was one of the few places she could come to get away if she wasn't training, working on homework or hanging out with her best friend Lawrence. After her reclusive year, she lost many of her friends, but he had remained a constant in her life and had helped her overcome her anxiety, although she dealt with it on a regular basis.
Her blade lay at her side and she was leaned back in a relaxed position with her hands behind her to brace herself. Oddly enough the height didn't bother her at all, actually the cool, calming air relaxed her.
Closing her eyes, she let her mind drift. Of course as usual, the memories of that night replayed in her head. Actually, two nights.
A burning sensation in her left shoulder reminded her of the night when she was eleven. The darkness pooling at her feet, threatening to drag her in; the yellow eyes staring straight through her. These were all memories and of course the strong arms that pulled her from the darkness.
Black eyes flashed opened to the dark night sky. That was five years ago. After that night, she no longer wanted to explore. The outside world was too scary. Her dad had been hurt because of her. Never again would she hurt him.
Kade sighed and let her body fall back so she was in a laying position. The cool stone against her neck and skull felt foreign and rough, but she didn't mind.
The stars twinkled above. There was a time she could remember about three years ago when the stars were going out one by one very rapidly. But within the last while, the brightness had returned. She figured whoever made them come back thought the world needed stars to show a way through the darkness. she silently thanked that person in her heart.
Flopping to her side, she reached over to her blade to fumble with the little star charm attached at the hilt. It was fashioned after the weapons she saw that night. Bringing it up close to her face, she closed her left eye and held the crystal in front of her right. A bright star in a sea of darkness.
Letting her arm drop to her side and her other eye slide close, the second memory came into view before mind's eye. The night when she decided she would fight.
The heaviness of the blade, the scrape of steel against concrete and she lunged into the fray. A nasty bruise on the side of her head when she woke up.
A slow grin formed on her pale lips as she remembered part of her punishment was the training. Her father was a soldier, and he drove her like he was a general. But the harder her worked her, the more he said he saw her grow.
Well she personally didn't see it. She didn't have any magical abilities like the one she heard of. Even her mother possess a small talent for the Cure spell.

[Hmm.... Luxord should be fun to try out here. He's quite bored.]
Luxord - Number X "The Gambler of Fate"

A portal of darkness appeared in Traverse Town as a hooded figure stepped out. What was Luxord doing in Traverse Town? Nothing much but doing his own bit of Recon. He was simply curious as to what the people did here in a strange town such as this. People tended to come to this town when their world was destroyed. So what bit of strength would be possibly found here in such a town.
He wandered the streets, quietly and stealthily, avoiding detection from others as he watched people from the shadows. Dice were held in his hand and Gambler nobodies were on standby in case it was absolutely necessary. He soon made his way into the Second District, a place housing several different types of heartless. But Luxord would not stir them as they were after hearts, something that the Gambler did not possess.
However, there was a heart here. Atop the bell tower was girl, sitting there as she looked to be either sleeping or daydreaming. Luxord moved quickly across the vast district and watched her. She seemed to just sit there, blissfully unaware of what might be in the worlds. Now was the time for Luxord to speak. "How strange to see someone resting away their hours in a place where danger lurks around every corner. Perhaps you might divulge to me what exactly you are doing at such high altitudes?" He said as he looked to her, his hood still preventing her from seeing his face. Perhaps this would be an interesting conversation after all.
The world of eternal night. A grand place to spend one's time, should one be steeped in darkness. A dark cloaked figure stood studying the fountain. It was beautifully built. For all that, Ari felt a darkness connected to it. It almost felt like a door, barely containing the power hidden behind it. He wanted to unlock it's secrets but knew just how foolish doing so would be. Finding things better left unfound has ended many worlds, his being the latest. He sighed, turned around, and sat, his hood covering his face as he contemplated the death of his world.
The wind ruffled Kadence's hair and hood, pushing it to and fro. The stars above blurred in her vision as her eyes became half-lidded. The teen sat up and gazed over the town. Even one of the more dangerous districts, she still found peace here in the highest point.
Black eyes narrowed on a figure beside the fountain. Even though there were people in Traverse Town, not many of them ventured outside of the First District. How odd...
"How strange to see someone resting away their hours in a place where danger lurks around every corner. Perhaps you might divulge to me what exactly you are doing at such high altitudes?"
Kade jolted at the voice that came from behind. Her chest heaved quickly, mentally calming herself. She twisted around, still in a half-sitting position when her eyes came to rest on Luxord.
"I'm sorry. Do I know you? I w-was just relaxing." Was this his special place to relax? Or was there more to this cloaked fellow.

[Please excuse my lateness in posting. Haven't been on as much to do so]
A soft chuckle came from the hooded figure as he stepped forward. While being a nobody meant that Luxord had no emotions, that didn't stop him from pretending for those who did not know his true cards. A card appeared in his hand as he walked closer to her, finally answering her question. "No, I do not believe we have been acquainted before. Perhaps, as I am the instigator of our conversation, I shall start with the introductions. My name is James. And yours, fair lady?" He said, lying about his name. For as long as he had been in the Organization, all he had ever been told is to stay anonymous. But how could he have fun with an unsuspecting woman such as the one before him if he could not even give her a name to call him?
James was the name that he decided to take when presented with Situations in which he must reveal an identity of some sort. And once he had done so, it was a matter of seeing whether or not his hood would have to be removed. Only for those who he places absolute trust in does he reveal his face. After all, if he met them later, not as James, but as Luxord with Organization XIII, he wouldn't want them to know who he was by recognizing his face. For they would probably recognize the voice. At least then, Luxord could pass James off as a brother who hides his identity and is good, therefore able to gain the trust of others. The gambler truly loved to gamble his life, taking risks that most wouldn't dare take. But that is what made him Number X in the Organization, The Gambler of Fate.
