In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Images flashed through Maya's head at incredible speeds as she lay unconcious. Those of her childhood, hearing her mother had died, hearing her father being killed by her own species...tears formed in her eyes, even though she wasn't concious. In her head, she let out a silent scream, still feeling the Msit covering her. Her body tossed and turned, trying to fight off the memory. But no amount of physical force could erase the memories, and as she screamed one last time, her body stopped moving. She gave in and accepted ehr fate...
Hopefully somebody would come along and find her, unconcious.
They widened... "Note?" The Heartless rushed to the Viera's side and bent down next to the person. He went to touch the creature's shoulder- Wait. You weren't supposed to move an injured person, right? Or... Ienzo thought about it for a moment, his silver gaze solidly on the person who smelled of earth. In his left hand, a small clipping of an olive branch hung to a string, a necklace from a good friend.
Ienzo had said his goodbyes to the Viera before. It had been months since he had disappeared into the skies. But Ienzo couldn't stop his friend from trying to find his home; it was his own choice. Note had left with a curt nod, leaving Ienzo with the olive branch he had brought with him from his own world. The Heartless hadn't ever known simply company and went so far as to call the young Viera his friend... Although he understood that was impossible as a Heartless.
Ienzo finally took off his coat and put it over the frail figure, awaiting its wake. He sighed... It most likely wasn't Note, but he might as well help out anyways.
The viera suddenly stirred, her ears slowly perking up as she listened to what was around her. Something caught her attention, the low sound of someone breathing next to her. Her eyes jerked open and she looked up into the grey eyes of the stranger next to her.
Still disoriented, she whispered, "Wh...where am I?"
Not Note. It was a girl, it was easy to tell. Ienzo almost sighed, but caught himself. No, he shouldn't do taht. This girl had to be a survivor from another World, as they all came to Traverse Town or (on rare occasion) Twilight Town. He did his best to hide the marks on his neck, and thanked the long-sleeved sweater he wore today underneath the jacket.
Throwing his raven hair to the left of his face, he sat down beside her. "You're in Traverse Town," he replied. "I don't know what's going on, but I'm guessing that you just had an encounter with the Heartless."
"You're on a different World if so."
Hopefully she was warm on this slightly chilly night. He just sat next to her to offer company. He didn't want to offend the Viera, considering Note had been very particular about the personal bubble, so he didn't bother her at the moment.
"My name's Ienzo," he responded, waving. "I just came over to check if you were alright. Right now, it may be a lot to take in, but if you need any help just say so."
Shaking her head, her ears started twitching as the memories of what had happened to her prior to her fainting. She then heard the voice and jumped up, getting some distance between her and the stranger. Her panic mode kicked in, and she wrapped her arms around her legs, watching the other man.
"How did you find me? What am I doing here?" The young viera tried to stand, but she was just too exhausted and collapsed. She took a few breaths, then realized that the stranger didn't want to hurt her, but rather help her. She got her first good look of him, her eyes squinted.

"No kit that would be half the answer."
A while back Coffee had roamed every nook and cranny of Traverse Town the heartless here weren't entertaining at all. They were so weak that they didn't even tempted her the least. She was bred to be a huntress; well she was born to be. In her youth she had the wandering gene that scared many; now she was feeling the ebbs of restlessness. The new tweak gave her an extra quirk of snapping and being more irrate than the norm. Her cold comments were now snarky and sharp with double sharp edges cutting down anyone that dared question her whether its about her lineage or behavior.
Claws racked against the cobblestone as she got a good whiff. Maroon eyes darkened leaving only a rim of red to brighten the dark toned orbs as a soft groan wavered from her lips. Her small mocha nose twitched with an inhale to see if she had misjudged. She was never one to second guess her senses, but she knew she was on the right trail as her lip twitched in a smirk. There was mist about, and she wanted it.
One moment she was on the ground, and the next she had propelled herself on the rooftops. She always enjoyed high perches bringing back her childish days running in the tree tops with Esmeralds whispering behind her. This time she wasn't a wild free runt, but a cool calculating huntress ready to strike. Her ears twitched hearing voices; new scents alerted her nose, the mist and a...was that another runt. A brow cocked watching the young viera like a tigeress; ears flattened for a moment hearing the twinge of fear in her voice. The viera never admired that element, but the slight curves on her frame had distracted her momentarily.
She had her share of men or women, so personally it would feel she had seen it all. There's nothing new in those terms of festivities, but there was always someone new. It seemed she had hit the jackpot: fresh meat and a mist to get intoxicated with. For a moment, the Rava Viera wondered when was it the last time she had courted with the influence of mist....or even pursued a viera. Creme doesn't truly count since it never goes or ends where she intended; look at them now, she was only supposed to steal from her...not form a partnership. Perhaps she should try unloosening Creme's hinges with mist to just see that uptight calculating viera snap from her bounds and be as free as a wild viera raised by the earth should be.
But that was for another time...or even another lifetime. Creme was too self-absorbed in her mechanics to even tend to herself; so imaging her looser and nuder would get the Rava Viera simply nowhere. Also there was no time to brood. There were lovelies to collect. Not wasting time, the viera had dropped down to the floor interrupting the little chatter.
You're a hume
"No runt that would be half the answer." Clad in emerald green, the viera stepped out from the shadows with her arms drapping over her beloved Esmeralda, who laid exotically over he shoulders. Her eyes ravaged the youth picturing her inside and out, "open your nose."
Her eyes flicked over to the heartless. Oh yes she knew dark mist when she smelled it. "Mmm you are the first I've seen; even so you're all the same; a good hunt; a good snack; and another leach."
As the other viera appeared before her, Maya became a slight bit more comfortable. What's wrong with him, he's not..." Something caught her nose's attention, and she smelled the scent around the other man. It definitely smelled like mist, but it was different. "He seems nicer then you make him to, he helped me." she said, one ear twitching in the frustration of not knowing what was going on.
"Now could somebody please tell me why I'm here?" she said politely, yet barely letting her irritation show.
Ienzo chuckled. His silver eyes turned to the Viera. He had seen her before, but he had never approached. He had been watching, despite his hidden nature. He picked his jacket from the ground and pulled it on. He watched this new Viera with interest. She was enjoying them... Such a feral creature. So barbaric. This creature was bent on fulfilling what it thought it wanted. Ienzo had seen it before. Physical needs were the simplest objects of self-fulfillment. Perhaps she would evolve later.
"I'm... not a normal hume, no." He nodded, crossing his arms. "And you're here because you survived. You get a second chance at life in new worlds, to follow the path as you see fit." The raven-haired Heartless looked between the two, the latter of which was hanging on the younger. A leech, huh? Ienzo couldn't really argue without sounding malevolent. He just shrugged. "I guess you can't decide how you're born," he retorted. The whole Heartless deal was pretty straightforward. Heartless ate out a constant hunger, one that never ceased. But that hunger was only a physical want, and Ienzo fed only on occasion, when his strength began to wade. If he had a choice, he would not feed at all. And it was true, the Darkness did comfort him; it held him in a gentle embrace.
But his will was stronger than that, just as Riku's was when his Heart was taken by the Darkness. Ienzo was a Heartless, yes, but he could control himself.
Oh... Ienzo almost forgot. "Did you ever meet another named 'Note'?" He could feel the olive clipping imprinting a design in his left hand.

"You're here, because leaches fed of your world...with that I take it Ivalice is no longer standing. Here before you is exactly that, a leech. You may find them kind, but in the end all leeches are the same, self-serving little imps devoring whatever heart is in their way. Generally the weak become leeches unless they are insane to tamper with black mist. Still you had a choice in the matter, to be strong or to be weak, and you chose the leech."
The viera snorted before bluntly clarifying, "Kit you are hear because leeches took away something from you, and this leach calls such thievery a second-chance, a second-chance here...lost...confused...alone...all familiarity gone...all because of his kind. Ironically the first thing you meet...is a leach making your predicament sound like roses and sunshine...how nice of him."
"So unless you wish to be like others, by being food for a leech, never trust one." Her clawed fingers that were laced around the long hilt of Esmeralds flexed. "They are worthy for the hunt and the mist they bring."
Maya's eyes flickered from the other viera to the strange man, and smiled politely at both, but inside she was in conflict. Turning to the other viera, she said, "No, Ivalice still stands. It was..." She shuddered as she thought of the Mist, enveloping her. Shaking it off both mentally and physically, she looked at the man and said, "Thank you for your kind words, but I'm not quite sure I understand why she speaks so negatively of you. You have the slight scent of Mist around you, but it's not overwhelming." What she didn't realize was her scent had taken so much Mist corruption that it seemed meager to her. She was completely oblivious to Ienzo's scent.
Ienzo paused for a moment. He looked between the two, analyzing the one in green. These Viera, they could easily identify him through their noses. Of course... Some creatures wouldn't recognize Heartless by their signature, but they would smell differently considering their lack of body. That 'Mist' had to be some form of magic or essence that living matter was made of... Or that was what Ienzo guessed. He would have to make data on the subject later. A brief image of the cards flashed through his mind.
His eyes narrowed as the one in green held onto the hilt of her weapon. She wanted a fight? He didn't exactly want to start a fight here and now. He wasn't really concerned with fighting, or even Hearts for that matter. Lord Ansem could distance himself from the Heartless hunger for long periods of time. Other Heartless could easily manage weeks. And he was a parasite? More like a predator; there was no leeching about it. Leeches kept their victims alive. Heartless killed their victims and ate the Heart.
He leaned against a wall, deep in thought. His silver eyes closed, and finally he looked to the two. "My species are not parasites. They are predators," he concluded. "They hunt humanoid species and eat their emotions. And... If the world is overcome by Darkness, they can eat entire worlds."
"I'm kind of a lame duck because I try not to feed. For the intelligent Heartless, it's not necessary, but it makes us stronger. But yeah~ I guess this one here-" he gestured to the one draped in green, "doesn't know too much about us."

Hearing the runt speak, her ears flattened, "slight mist."
That was the key term that made her eyes narrowed. There was nothing slight about the pest infront of her; it was actually to blatant and obvious, hence of her easy tracking. This could explain this runt's naive approach of just waltzing and smiling without any sense to alert the need to have precaution. Although she had no right, she had already grabbed the runt's chin observing her eyes, face, and scent. Although the heartless gave off a mist of his own, there was something clinging her, "Your senses are clearly dull. With that, you can't trust them until it's back to a norm."
Was this the becoming of the vieras? The thought within itself made her brows furrowed tightly in a frown. She, Coffee, technically wasn't a viera in terms to the culture. Those who lacked the ears to hear the woods are either because they were never raised in the Viera's Ways or banished and outcasted by the pack. She had lost her hearing long ago in the woods. Coffee couldn't distinguish if she was an outcasted or not. There wasn't a charm to tell the difference; the obvious would be that...you would never see a True Viera outside the woods. Her nose twitched to pick up any lingering of earth.
Still Coffee wasn't one to care much for anyone. Of-course Creme was her exception, because they worked together. One being off their a-game destroyed the entire whole. Why of a sudden was there more unneeded concern towards the runt? Perhaps it's because of her naive behavior and lack of immense intercation with a fellow in abundance like her childhood. No, she wasn't suffering from longing; it was just a natural reaction.
"Ivalice probably won't stand for long, and your 'species' may as well be parasites. They are obviously not wanted by the humes, and you do more than eat their emotions. If eating a world makes it disappear...more than just mere emotion is gone. So perhaps you like to sugar coat...you try not to feed...doesn't clearly means you don't."
Maya's ears perked up at that statement, and her eyes grew wide. "No...that's not true!" she yelled, standing. Around her, the earth started to ripple, like waves on the ocean. Her vision became clouded, but she was still able to sense where the others were. A low snarl emitted from her mouth, and she could feel her staff in her right hand. What she was doing, she didn't know, but she couldn't control it. Inside, she tried to stop, but her body was working on its own.
A scent came to her, just a flash, but familiar. It was Mist, and it was coming from herself. With all her will, she mentally ehld herself back, but was barely able to.
Ienzo felt the earth shift and threw a shadow out to stand on. The solid black object allowed him to avoid the shaking and he watched with anticipation. This earth-child was like Elaeus. She could control the earth around them. Ienzo remembered Elaeus' full power... He shuddered.
His own meager abilities couldn't do anything like geo-manipulation. This young one would be a powerful ally or a deadly enemy. Ienzo's gaze shifted to the older earth being. He grinned. "My species isn't wanter, you're right. But I know all about your Woods, earth one," he replied. He knew well. All had been explained (over a period of time) by Note, the first one he ever met. "And much to your dismay, I may not be wanted, but I am accepted." After all, the RGRUC had accepted him. He was far more accepted in his home than she was in hers.
"So perhaps we should just lay off the sarcasm and help this survivor who's obviously having difficult." His silver eyes glared towards her. So insolent... He felt the Darkness stir heavily in his body but he held it down with his willpower. In his mind, a rhythmic beat began and he smiled. The Darkness was emotion, just like happiness or joy. It was nothing to hold back emotions. Eventually, the Darkness would dwindle away and he would be able to focus on his small bit of light.

Ears turned hearing the snarl, and her eyes shifted over. Using her hand, she gestured for the heartless to silence as her main focus had zoomed to the kit. His voice reverted to buzzing of gnats into her hearing. Brows narrowed seeing this before and experiencing it as well.
Stepping forward, she grabbed the youth's staff to toss it out of her hands just to get security of her clawed hands. Her own claws illuminated and tint to a coal black color slowly conducting drain. It was mist that danced within her, and she was unsure how long it would even last in her system. With a twitch of her nose, she tried to decipher what mist bog she had tampered in. It was already difficult enough with the heartless emulating its own stench.
Very few times is one able to snap out of it on there own. Generally that was merely one out of ten of the time. There was no harm in trying, since she technically had already placed herself in a predicament by be near a crazed viera. Already in a stance, she was prepared for the worst. Although claws were on thing, feet was an entire different ball park. Even if she was still young, mist can always multiple the odds.
"Kit snap out of it," she doubted the viera could even acknowledge the statement. Either way drain would place her into a sleep if she doesn't awaken from it soon.
