In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Demyx frowned, as he realized Crystal wasn't getting up anytime soon. Maybe she just needed some rest? He sighed, then sitting down next to the girl put his sitar in his lap. In this situation the nobody didn't know what to do. Heraised his right hand up, then forming it into a fist threw down on the ground hard. "Damn..." he said behind gritted teeth, he was so upset. Just what were the disks doing there? Had one of the Organization members sent them? and if so why?
So many questions flooded through his head, causing his mind to be all jumbled about. But no matter how many questions paraded through his head, one thought was clear. It was all his fault. He looked back at Crystal, a look of regret planted on his face. "I'm sorry..." he whispered, solemnly.
It was then an idea crossed his mind, perhaps she'd get better if she was in the water. It seemed resonable to Demyx at that time, afterall she was an undine right? So maybe if she was in water, her breathe would become normal again. The nobody shrugged, "worth a shot." he said. And with that he picked the girl up bridal style, and went towards the ocean. As he got in, he could feel the water already entering his shoes, it's cold surface tickling his toes. He got far enough so that Crystals entire body was in the water except for her head, and looking at the girls angelic face, waited.
Water was always known to be a great healer, so as Crystal was carried gently in Demyx's arms and her body touched the water, her tail had slowly come back and bizarrely a stream of water rushed up her arm and to the back of her head where the wound soon closed up and healed.
With a soft groaning sound, Crystal slowly began to stir, her cheek brushed against Demyx's chest, though the first contact of doing so only caused her to snuggle into him more, unaware that she was doing such a thing, yet a light blush seemed to appear in her cheeks.
By the time her eyes opened, she found herself in the water. "Huh?" she murmured whilst looking around, it was unfortunate really... she enjoyed being able to walk, but this seemed to have made her better, though what she hadn't realised was Demyx was holding her, she looked up at him in what would appear to be a romantic fashion to many, though that was no her intention.
"Demyx..." for some reason when she said his name, it came out a little different than usual, it was so adoring and affectionate, even she was surprised... maybe it just came out wrong, she at least tried to convince herself that.
Crystal soon brought herself to shake it off, though after his name came out of her in such a tone, a warm feeling began to build up inside her, so much in fact that even her gaze upon him seemed to be one of adoration, almost as if she was in a day dream. "Did... something happen...?" she asked softly, still looking at him, not really minding the fact he was still holding her.
The nocturne watched in awe as the girls legs, clasped togeather forming into a long, bright, shiny, tail. He then saw the water rush up her arm, and reaching her head healed the minor wound she got, when she fell unconcious. This made the nobodies mouth open, thinking in amazement, "Wow....thats cool..."
His attention then veered back towards Crystal, as he heard the girl then let out a small groaning sound. He jumped in surprise, for as she slowly began to stir from her slumber, she snuggled into them more, causing their bodies to become awfully close. Demyx didnt know what to do. The girls eye's then opened, and as she looked around to figure out where she was, looked up at the nobody and said his name.
At this time, Demyx couldnt help but sigh in relief, she was ok. Though when she said his name it was kinda odd. The tone in her voice sounded different from usual. The nocturne tried to figure out a word to descibe it...oh what was that word? Passionate? The nobody shrugged. He didnt have a heart so, his knowledge of emotions or even how to express them was just as petite as a rocks.
He then listened as Crystal asked if something at happened. This made the nobody sigh, "Unfortunately you fell unconcious." He said answering her question. "Those creatures from earlier...are called Dusks their part of strange breed other then the heartless...though their nothing to fear."
At this Demyx looked away from the undine, it was best he said as little information as possible, afterall too much could cause some questions...and that could lead to other problems...He let out another short sigh, then turning back towards Crystal he smiled. "But a better question is..." he said, asking later. "Are you ok? Does your head hurt? You had a little wound but...i think the water might've healed that up for you."
Crystal listened as Demyx as he explained what had happened a few moments ago, apparently she had fallen unconscious due to those creatures, which he seemed to know as Dusks, she thought nothing of it, he had clearly traveled enough to know, so it didn't bother her much, then again... nothing seemed to at that given moment. She still appeared to be in a dazed-like state, it wasn't her injuries or anything, but... the way she looked at him... it never changed.
She was listening to him, but at the same time, she wasn't.... she couldn't understand it to be truthful. The undine just smiled as she slowly wrapped her arms around him, pulling him into a hug, she couldn't understand why she was being to affectionate. "I'm fine, really... thank you for helping me, Demyx..." there is was again, that exact same tone of voice, it just came out without her even forcing it, it was almost as if it was natural.
Still, she felt... so warm inside right now, the fruit causing this had never even once crossed her mind. She looked up at him and smiled. "Water is an amazing healer..." she murmured before hugging him once again "I think the wound is gone... nothing to worry about."
To be honest, all she wanted to do then was stay there with him. A thought of the bracelet she had given him crossed her mind, she hoped he had it still, she almost remembered him kissing her hand when he had departed.
Demyx was surprised by Crystals susan words, he hugged her back, and smiling said. "I missed you too Crystal." He then let the undine down, and letting out a light chuckle said. "Well I'm glad to see that your happy again." He scratched the back of his neck, "I almost forgot how beautiful your smile was, it's simply gorgeous. Definitely matches with your perfect face."
At this the nobody let out a soft laugh, man how he liked being with Crystal, she made him feel so warm inside. He smiled at her, and raising his right hand showed the bracelet she had given him the last time they met. "Remember this?" he asked. He then lowered his hand, and narrowing his eyes added. "I've been keeping it on me since that time, I think it might be good luck considering I haven't gotten into any trouble lately." Which was true, the last couple weeks he spent with the Organization wasn't as bad as it had usually been. No one had yelled at him for playing his sitar loudly, and that in itself was a miracle. Also the fact he hadn't been assigned any dangerous missions during that time, was a miracle as well.
He looked back up at Crystal, "Plus.." he added, "It always makes me happy to just look at it...cause it reminds me so much of you." At this the nocturne took the girls hands into his own, and without saying anything just smiled.
(blah! bad post, I'm sorry my brains fried from getting very little sleep... -_- zzzz)
Crystal didn't know if she was just being too sentimental or not, but still... it felt so nice, she wanted to be bathed in this moment forever, but... what she feared most was that it might've been far too soon, but... surely it was... possible? It was just too troubling to think of... she thought that maybe she should just go with it.
With a smile and a light giggle, Crystal looked away almost shyly at his words, the blush in her cheeks was all too obvious. How could one person make her feel so happy? But, she just tried not to think of it, it wasn't like she could anyway... Demyx was the only person on her mind.
"Demyx... you're embarrassing me!" she giggled, shyly placing her hands over her cheeks, she then looked up at him, aiming the smile he so adored at him "I could say the same about you, maybe not entirely, but your cheerful smile always makes me happy and your hair always makes me smile, it's just so cool!"
When she saw the bracelet around his wrist, Crystal's mouth opened with a joyful smile as she stared starry eyed at it before looking back at Demyx. "You still have it!" she giggled happily, clapping her hands together, her own bracelet similar to the one she gave Demyx jingled.
"I told you, silly!" she smiled, poking his nose and giggling "it'll keep you safe, especially in the water! I'm glad you still wear it.." she smiled softly before averting her gaze shyly. Her eyes lit up suddenly as she felt him hold her hands, it was amazing how it all of a sudden made her heart beat with a great rate, if she still had her legs, she was sure they'd turn to jelly.
That had to be the most sweetest thing anyone had ever said to her, but... was she just being a blind fool right now? Or... was this real-... she kept staring at his mouth-... no, surely it was too soon-... why was she getting closer-? Demyx was her friend, ri-... she could already feel his breath on her face-... wait, what was wrong with this picture, something didn't seem righ-... wow, her lips were really warm right now-... still, it had to be-... wait... why couldn't she see anything?
A minute passed and she still couldn't understand why everything was black, though she could feel light on her face, and for some reason her lips felt slightly wet and warm.
Another minute went by, everything was still black, she could feel her lips tingling, the warm feeling slowly began to emit from her heart in waves... this didn't make sense...
Three minutes had gone by now, for some reason she still couldn't see, she felt like she was in a daze, a dream even... this wasn't making any sense...
Four minutes now! Okay, this was just getting weird. Finally, Crystal found out the problem after the dreamy and warm feeling began to die down a little. Slowly, her eyelids fluttered open, a relieved sigh escaped her nos-... just then, her eyes shot open, her lips were still warm, and now she knew why!!
She hadn't realised it, she really hadn't, she didn't even know what had come over her. She began questioning herself! Did she trip? Had she hit her head too hard? This was beyond weird! The reason why her lips were so warm was because she had kissed Demyx! No peck, no nothing! An actual kiss.
Her immediate response was to pull away, but she seemed to do that a little too hard and ended up falling into the water, a loud splash happened and she just sat in that particular shallow part staring wide eyed at him. "I... I-I... uhh..." there weren't even any words to describe or explain the situation. All she knew that it was wrong...
Demyx was in a manner of shock, as Crystal fell backwards into the water. His face looked dazed as if he was sleepwalking or something, just...what had just happened? He was talking to Crystal one minute, then the next she kissed him! The nobody just couldn't understand....why? He then snapped back into reality, and looking at Crystal lowering his head, he watched as she nervously tried to talk, her eyes wide.
He didn't know what to say. What could he have said? The nocturne raised his gloved hand at his lips, and lowering it he then scratched the back of his head. "Well that was sudden." he joked trying to lighten the mood. It was just a kiss anyways, no big deal right? he then laughed, and extending his hand out to the undine said. "Here let me help you up."
Crystal really didn't know what to do at that moment, she couldn't even believe what she had just done, it was crazy, completely uncalled for and wrong... wasn't it?
She tried to convince herself, but something about that kiss just made her feel so... whole. She tried to shake it off, but it just wouldn't go away, she couldn't even bring herself to look at him, this just felt so sudden and unexpected. No... it just couldn't be right, she had no right to do that... but... it felt so nice.
What was she thinking!? Crystal just shook her head, lightly placing her hand over her still warm mouth as she blushed a little. Impossible and unnecessary, she didn't need to feel this way, but at the same time, she wanted to...
As he offered her his hand to help her up, she just gently pushed it away, shaking her head at him whilst a rather saddened expression descended upon her face. "I'm... I'm sorry, Demyx... I don't know why I-..." she couldn't finish that sentence, she didn't know if she did or didn't know why she did that.
"Uhm... maybe I should just go..." she sighed, turning away from him, she really didn't want to, but things were just too awkward now...
"Wait!" the nocturne cried as he grab ahold of the undine's hand just as she turned away from him. There was then silence, he didn't know what to say...he loosened his hold on her hand and looking down at the sand he said solemnly. "Please don't go..." His expression at that time then darkened, he looked up at her with sad-filled eyes and putting his hand over the place where his heart would have been added...
"I've been dieing to see you again...you wouldn't believe how much crap I had to go through since that day we met but you know...just hoping to see you again kept me going...so please don't go..." The nocturne then let go of the undine's hand, what was with him!? He swore if any of the other members would have saw him they would've hit him on the head and said that he was an idiot. But he didn't care...cause they weren't there, and the feeling he had whenever he saw Crystal felt so nice...he just wanted to experience that warm feeling just a bit more.
But even the nobody had to admit, his words did sound sappy he chuckled lightly, and covering his eyes with his hand said. "Sorry...those words were awkward...you probably think I'm an idiot now..." He wouldn't blame her if she did, cause at that moment he thought he was himself. Now staying quiet he put down his hand, and looking at the undine's beautiful eyes waited to see if she would say anything, or just walk off.
Crystal gasped softly as she felt Demyx grab her hand, she turned slightly, a surprised look spread across her face as she looked at him. He seemed so sad just then... did he really want her to stay? However, when he began to speak, her heart couldn't help but sink, she didn't realise he felt that way...
She looked down sadly, sighing as she shook her head. "No... you're not an idiot, not at all..." she looked away awkwardly "I just... I don't know why I-... I shouldn't have-.... I mean... it felt right, but I... I just-..." she couldn't even speak properly, she was just there, stuttering and stammering.
More than anything, she loved being around Demyx, but she still couldn't get over what she had just done.
