In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Don’t you feel great when you can look into your love’s eyes and know there is nothing that can stop you from being with her...?
”Alright love, we’re here,” Shiro told his love as he unfolded the blindfold that he had put on earlier. She was finally free from Shira. He could finally see both of her beautiful eyes. In front of them was what Shiro called a surprise. It was a fancy hotel room door, with the number “229” on it. Losing a dark persona inside your body called for a celebration. So Shiro, with most of the munny he had, bought a very nice hotel room for the two of them. The man opened the door for V, and then closed it once she walked in. Turning around, he looked at the room. It was quite nice. It was definitely worth the munny.
It had a wooden floor, which thankfully didn’t have any messes on it. He never knew when it came to hotels. Sometimes they could be crappy, but sometimes they could be alright. This one was definitely better than alright. There were two bathrooms, which looked quite clean. There were a few paintings hanging on the walls, which Shiro noticed right away. They were a little unique. Well, he didn’t expect a professional’s work in a hotel room. There was a table, with a fridge resting against the wall right next to it. There was one closet, which was alright, since most of their stuff was back on the gummi ship. There was a mini kitchen, which basically had cabinets, a microwave, and a counter. There were two windows in the room, which gave a beautiful view of the rest of the town.
The man walked up to the huge two windows and simply observed the sunset for a moment. It was wonderful, but not as wonderful as the one in Destiny Islands. They probably should’ve gone there instead. Oh well, what done was done, right? Twilight Town was a nice place too.
But anyways, the room was perfect! Oh wait, he had forgotten to examine one thing. The beds… Or should he say bed? It looked comfortable and all, but… There was only one. And there were two of them. Oh no… He could’ve sworn he asked for a room for two. Oh wait. One guy… One girl… Oh crap, he should’ve been way more specific. Maybe V wouldn’t notice? Oh what was he thinking? Of course she would. Damn’t, why was it that whenever he tried to plan something, he always screwed up somehow? Oh no, what would V think? Would she think he purposely did that? He hoped not.
Well, maybe he could distract her for a little bit, and then he could be more prepared for the awkwardness when they’d come to it. Alright, so it was distraction time. Walking over to the fridge, he opened it quickly and took out a bottle of some liquid. He didn’t take time to look at the label. Using his gravity manipulation, he made the bottle a whole lot heavier, which caused the cork to come right out. Then, forcing the cabinets open, he forced two small glass cups down to him. Quickly pouring the liquid into the cups, he forced two ice cubes up to him from the fridge and plopped them in. Offering it to V, he asked, ”Would you care for a drink, V?”
Shiro’s eyes glanced at the bottle and noticed that the label said it was an alcoholic beverage. Well that was a great way to assume he did it on purpose even more. Eyes widened, he looked back at his love and said with a nervous smile, ”Never mind that.” And with that, he put the glass onto the counter away from them. Oh what was the point? Backing out of the way with a disappointed look on his face, he let V see his screw up. Ugh, why did he always had to screw things up?

All V could see was the dark color on the blindfold, her love used to cover her eyes. 'What Is he planning?' she wondered, a little worried about having Shiro drive gummy ship, after what happened when he had last driven the ship. They almost got smashed by a meteor! V cringed at the memory, but took in a deep breathe to relax himself. Maybe this time it wouldn't be so bad....maybe...and trying to think of happier thoughts put her faith in her love, hoping that he would use common sense and not skim the gummy ship into something, ruining the paint. Cause if that were the case, V would have to seriously have a talk with him.
Hours went by, finally she could feel the ship starting to decend, guess they were there. She smiled relieved that nothing bad had happened, she thought then her love would take the blindfold off, but not yet. He then took her hand, and lead her out of the gummi ship towards somewhere. The girl then suddenly became excited, 'I can't wait to see this surprise.' she thought.
It was only a few minutes, till Shiro stopped, however not being able to see that he had, V accidentally bumped into him. "oof!" she said, moving back a little bit, she laughed. "A warning would've been nice." she said jokingly. V then became silent as she heard Shiro say, "Alright love, we're here."
She smiled, "Yay!" she shouted excitedly. She could then, feel her loves hands uniting the blindfold around her head, and taking it off showed her his surprise. At first, V was blinded by the sudden light that her eyes saw, but then as her vision began to clear, she saw a large hotel door, with the number "229" on it. V looked at it questioningly at first, but before she could ask anything, her love suddenly opened the door to let her in, closing it soon after they were both inside.
The girls eye's lit with awe, the room was wonderful. It was all nicely set, and was so clean and tidy. She looked up at Shiro, "Wow! this is great!" she said amazed. She did not expect this, she looked around and examined more of the room. Seeing the two beautifully designed bathrooms, and small kitchen. She then went to one of the windows, and looked out, gazing at the view.
It was beautiful...the day was now turning to twilight, and the color of the sky which covered the rest of town that laid below was just fantastic to V. She looked at Shiro, a wide smile on her face. "This is amazing!" she said. Suddenly Shiro asked her if she would like a drink. She looked at the bottle in his hand, and was about to nod her head until she noticed something....the label said it was a alcoholic beverage. Shiro must've saw it too, cause when she looked up at him questioningly, his eyes widened saying, "Never mind that." and put the glass on a counter away from them.
V couldn't help but laugh at this, "Aww Shiro," she said, going up to him and poking his nose. "Your so silly!" At that moment, something else caught her eye. She looed over her love's shoulder to see that there was only one bed. "Well that's interesting..." she said, walking around him, and going over to the bed. "I thought you said you requested two beds? must've made a mistake..." she muttured. She then turned around, "Oh well!" she said smiling. "I guess we'll just have to share...unless..."
At this she laid down on the floor. She rolled around, soon afterwards jumping right back on her feet. "Nope never-mind!" she chimed happily, "The floors to hard to sleep on...sharing it is then!" And with that, V jumped onto the bed, shouting "wheeeee!!!" as she bounced off of it by a fee inches. The girl was pretty laid back, so sharing a bed with Shiro wasn't such a bug deal to her. However...if it had been with someone else, she would've thought differently. She laughed, then grabbing a hold of one of the pillows, sat up right to look at Shiro. She felt a little embarrassed about what she had down, she put the pillow close to her face, covering half of it. "Sorry..." she said meekly. "I'm wierd..."

"You’re so silly!" his love told him as she poked him in the nose. Yeah, but she didn’t see what he had accidentally done yet. Preparing for an awkward silence or something like that, he watched V walk around him and then to the one bed. Alright, here it came… "I thought you said you requested two beds? Must’ve made a mistake...” Wait, what? Oh phew… Thank god she didn’t think he had done it on purpose. Oh how awkward it would’ve been between the two of them. Well at least it wasn’t that situation. Actually, V’s reaction to the whole thing surprised him. She looked at him with a smile, like she was happy about it? Was she really? Or was this one of these “V” moments where she pretended that everything was good. Well, it must’ve not been, since she literally jumped onto the bed and then back off. So he was going to assume it wasn’t.
Well he wasn’t just going to stand there and continue thinking about one of his screw ups that V was obviously okay with. He guessed he was okay with it too, because they were a couple after all. And they have been a couple for a long time now. So dismissing the thought, he walked over to the bed where his love was covering half of her face with a pillow. "Sorry..." she said meekly.”I'm weird..." Chuckling at her words, he sat right next to her on the bed.
Looking at her with a smile, he said, ”No need to say sorry, my love. You’re cute when you’re weird.” And with that, he stood up and walked over to the mini kitchen. Now that everything was cool, he decided to look what snacks the hotel had to offer for the two of them. Disappointment appeared on his face as he opened it. There was practically nothing besides small candies and drinks. Guess they would have to go for room service or something. Or they could go out to eat? This time maybe they could go somewhere fancy, like formal stuff. He could pick out some nice clothing from the clothes he had with him. But would V go for it? There was only one way to find out. ”Hey V, what do you think about going out tonight for dinner? Like a formal dinner? And then we could head back here afterwards.”
Putting on the best smile he could, he looked at V, hoping that she would go for it. He has never done that with her, because most of their dates were more casual, since V preferred it. Well maybe this time it would be different. He sure hoped so. Looking back at the fridge with a look of disappointment, he slammed it shut and turned towards V, waiting for an answer from his love.

V was surprised, as Shiro chuckled at her words, he sat right next to her on the bed, and looking at her with a smile said. "No need to say sorry, my love. Your cute when your weird." At this the girl blushed slightly, she smiled and poking her love in the shoulder let out a short laugh.
She then watched, as Shiro got up and went to the mini kitchen in the room. He seemed disappointed as he opened it, though V couldn't see why. She was then taken off guard, as he asked her. "Hey V, what do you think about about going out tonight for dinner? Like a formal dinner? And then we could head back here afterwards." V looked at her love questiongly, "A formal dinner?" she repeated. "Hmmm..." She put the pillow down, and getting up from the bed pondered on the question.
V had never been at a formal restaurant before...she had never had the need to go to one and therefore just never went to one. She looked at her bag which held her clothes, and wondered. 'Would I even have something that would be fitting for a formal evening?" She went over to it, and opening it up looked inside. She went through her clothes, suddenly something caught her eye. 'huh?!' she thought surprised. 'When did I....'
She cut off her thoughts, then looking at Shiro said. "Um...sure! Just...let me get ready." She grabbed the bag, and looking like as if she had seen a ghost, rushed into one of the bathrooms. From there she let out a sigh, then looking back at the bag scratched the back of her head. "Well this will be...wierd." She said, taking out a piece of clothing, and brushing off the uneasiness she felt in her stomach, took off her hoody, and started to change.
It was a few minutes until she finally came out of the bathroom, awkwardly walking as she did. "Yep...deffinetly wierd." she said jokingly. What she had on was surprising. She wore a long, sleeveless, black dress which was held up by two thin straps that went around her slim shoulders. There was also a smal slit on the side, that went right past her knee, showing a little bit of her right leg. Underneath, she had nylon tights, the same color that matched her skin. And was wearing on her feet black, two-inched heels, that had a double strap. She had taken off her headphones, and had on her wrist, instead of her wristbands, had on a silver-chained bracelet, that had hanging from it a small, beautifully crafted cross. On her left ring finger, was also a silver band ring.
Embarrased, V walked slowly towards Shiro, still trying to get used to the high-heels she was wearing. She almost tripped as she got closer to him, but was likely enough to steady her balance somehow, and not fall. She looked up at her love, her voice a little nervous as she spoke. "Well...what do you think?" she asked smiling, she scratched the back of her head once again, then taking a deep breathe, calmed her nerves, and waited for Shiro to respond.
As V stood up after she repeated the question, he instantly got a good feeling in his stomach. He didn’t know if she would go along with it or not, but he had a good feeling that she would. His love walked over to her bag of clothing and started to go through them. Instantly, a smile appeared on the man’s face. She was going to do it! They were actually going to go to their first formal dinner together! He was pretty happy at the moment, though one thing made him think. Did she have anything to wear? Well, he knew he could try to clean himself up. But did she have anything to wear? Shiro never really saw V in a fancy dress or even a skirt. Maybe he would know soon?
The man smiled as V told him “sure”. Though he didn’t quite know if she wanted to or not. Maybe she didn’t, who knew? But he didn’t get the chance to ask since she just went “poof”, metaphorically speaking, into the bathroom. Shiro walked over into the other bathroom and looked at himself in the mirror. He couldn’t go out like this, could he? His hair was a little messy, and his jacket just didn’t seem formal enough to him. V would be out any minute. The gravity controller dashed outside the bathroom and picked up his bag which was on the floor. And with that, he rushed back into the bathroom and slammed the door. Not even looking at the bag, he zipped open the bag and took out a comb. As he brushed his hair, his other hand went through the clothes that the bag contained. Maybe V wouldn’t be embarrassed if he went with this one…? Well, it was the best he had. Well, actually, he had bought it on one of his trips to Traverse Town not too long ago. So he could say he was a little prepared incase if this situation would ever come up. He was glad he did. Taking off his shirt, he started to get dressed for his dinner date with V.
Shiro walked out of the bathroom hoping that V would approve. Looking down at the ground, he looked to see if there was any dirt on his pants. His attire was a simple black tuxedo. Nothing special at all, since he wasn’t the one to have a load of munny with him at all times. He was glad he just bought it when he did. If he wanted one now, he wouldn’t have the munny to get it. Wearing a nice white shirt under, he also had a simple back tie with no special design at all. Well at least he could say his pants weren’t dirty. But anyways, looking up, his eyes widened almost instantly as his eyes saw what his love was wearing. She was… She was… Striking. He had never seen V in that kind of clothing before. He was glad he was seeing it now. She looked absolutely gorgeous. It also surprised him that she was wearing high heels. He would definitely remember this day. Shiro thought V would too, since he looked at her like he was a deer caught in the headlights.
"Well...what do you think?"
”You…” he said. He couldn't seem to finish his sentence, because he had a hard time moving his mouth. He was practically a drooling dog, metaphorically speaking. Maybe this would help him... He leaned in and lightly kissed her on her lips. Breaking away, he finished, ”You look absolutely beautiful, darling. I hope you’re not embarrassed to go out in public with me. He finished his words with a small smile and a chuckle. Damn she was beautiful and he couldn’t stop himself from thinking about it.

V's eyes widened as Shiro kissed her lightly on the lips, saying after their lips parted that she was beautiful, causing the girl to blush slightly. She then laughed at the rest of his sentence, grabbing his arm and hugging it. "How could i ever be embarrased...when your the most handsome being in the universe?" she said smiling.
She let out a short laugh, then letting go of her loves arm, she reached out into her bag to bring out a small black purse that had a long strap so that she could put it around her shoulder.
She was then about to say something, when somthing in the mirror caught her eye. She looked towards it, and looking at her reflection gazed at her face. It was so different. She raised her hand, covering her right eye, which is where her eye patch would have laid. 'So wierd...' she thought solemnly.
Actually everything was wierd, afterall...she had her own body now. No one else but the half of her soul was now kept within the girls vessel, her other half kept within another. It was...kinda lonely. She let down her hand at her side, and letting out a short sigh looked back at Shiro, making sure she was smiling as she did.
"Well then..." she said, walking towards her love, and grabbing his hand. "Shall we go?"
The man slightly blushed at his love’s comment. Out of everything in his life that he remembered, no one has ever called him handsome before. It felt a little odd being called that, but it also felt nice. Smiling at V, he watched her as she got her purse and looked at herself in the mirror. She was so beautiful… And there he was again, thinking about how pretty she looked. Well, she was beautiful in general, but what she was wearing was like frosting on a cake. The cake was already delicious by itself, but the frosting just added on to its deliciousness.
“Well then… Shall we go?” his love asked him. Taking V’s hand, he nodded with a small smile. And with that, he headed his love out the door.
And just before their hotel door shut, Shiro asked out in the hall way with curiosity, ”So when did you get the clothes?”
---
Violins playing were the first thing Shiro heard as he opened the door for his love. They were at one of those very expensive restaurants with a French name, which happened to be one of the most well known restaurants in Twilight Town. When V entered the building (I’m assuming she enters. If not, I’ll change it), Shiro closed the door behind her. Turning around, Shiro’s eyes widened at the wonderful sight of the place, though it made the man frown slightly, because he felt like he would be walking out of the place broke. But besides that, the place was great. There were fancy chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. There was even carpet with a nice design. There were people in tuxedoes and dresses, some talking about business while some on dates.
Normally they’d have to wait for an open table, but no, they had come just in time. Apparently, a group of people cancelled their reservations and they were the first to come. So it was a very lucky event for the both of them. When the waitress took them to their table, Shiro pulled V’s chair out for her and let her sit down. While she was looking at him and the rest of the room, he sat down on the opposite side of the table and just saw her and the wall. He didn’t need to look at the nice architecture and the rest of the building. All he needed to see was V’s beauty.
Their table was nice. It was covered with white cloth with a candle in the middle. The chairs were comfortable too.
“All right, Mr. and Mrs. Naito, your waiter will be with you in just a moment,” the waitress told them with a cheesy smile before she walked away. He had to chuckle once she was gone. He had given the last name “Naito” to them just because they wanted a last name. Since they were both unaware of their last name, he lied and told them that they were a married couple with the last name of “Naito”.
”So what do you think, love?” he asked V with a small smile as he looked into her lovely eyes. He was glad that her eye patch was gone; it just made her look even more beautiful seeing both of her purple eyes.

As V sat in her chair, she was trying to keep her legs still, holding them down so that she wouldn't get the urge to pull them up to her chest like she normally sat, not like the dress would allow her to do so anyway. The restaurant was nice, and huge! She swore to herself, she had never seen such a cramped place. There were just so many people, chatting and laughing with eachother, it made the girl think she was at a convention! A very fancy convention...
Her ears then perked up as her loved asked her a question, a small smile on his face. V smiled back, "It's great!" she said excitedly, "Though...It is slightly wierd...I've never been to such a...high-quality restaurant before, I hope i don't make a fool of myself." At this the girl let out a small laugh, her purple eyes shining brightly as the light reflected from them.
A tall, bald man then appeared. He was dressed just like a butler, in V's opinion, and had a rather wide smile on his face. He slightly bowed his head as he approached the two love birds table. "Mr. and Mrs. Naito." He said in a slight British accent. "My name is Bradly...and I will be your waiter for this evening. If there's anything you need, just ask one of the nearby waiters, and waitresses, and they'll come and get me." At this Bradly then took out two menu's out from underneath his right armpit, and giving it to Shiro and V asked "Here are the menu's, now is there anything you'd like to drink?"
V tilted her head to the side, pondering on what she wanted. "I think I'll just have a glass of water thanks." She said giving the waiter a huge smile. Bradly nodded, "And you sir?" he asked Shiro. Once he had written down both their drinks on a small piece if paper, the waiter then dashed off to the kitchen, not hesitating to look back. V sighed, "Well then.." she said opening the menu, "let's see what they've got!" She read the food list that the restaurant served, then analyzing what each one was the girls eyes began to dim, her face looking as if she was confused.
"There's...so much!" she said laughing, "How do they expect anyone just to pick one thing from this?" The girl then looked over the menu once again, but still she couldn't decide on what she wanted to eat. It all just sounded so good! From seafood, to steak, V couldn't help but drool over the deliciousness each meal had. She looked up at Shiro with a disbelieved look, then smiling, she let out another laugh saying,"Awww man...this is gonna take awhile."
He chuckled at V’s response. Honestly, Shiro believed that he’d make a fool of himself before V would. Just like he had thought earlier, he had a habit of screwing things up when things were nice. Oh well, he didn’t have to think about it. He’d cross that bridge when he would come to it. When he heard their fake names, his turned a little bit to examine their waiter. Huh, the waiter looked more like a butler than a waiter. Well that fact made him think that they were going to have good service. When Bradly asked what they would like to have to drink, he thought about what he wanted. He didn’t have much of a variety. The three liquids he had ever drunk were water, milk, and soda. So when the waiter asked what he wanted, the man replied, ”I’d like water as well.”
And once the couple’s waiter had vanished, Shiro knew it was time to see what the restaurant had to offer. Opening up the menu, his eyes instantly widened as he looked at the prices. This did not give the man a good feeling at all. They were so expensive; expensive enough that three meals could make him walk out of the place broke. But he couldn’t just skip the meal. So out of all the things in to the menu, he thought the steak and the salad choices were the most tempting. Though the amount of the meals seemed way too much for him, because he was used to eating little during the day, enough to give him the energy he needed.
"Awww man...this is gonna take awhile."
Looking up from his menu, he replied to V with a smile, ”Take your time, V. But, I’d just like to suggest staying away from the seafood section.” He chuckled at the end of his sentence. Shiro had noticed that the seafood was the priciest, so he just wanted to remind V that before she picked what she wanted. An interesting idea came into the gravity controller’s mind, but before he could even mention it, Bradly came back with the drinks.
”Thank you,” Shiro said as their waiter rested his glass of water on the table.
And when he gave V hers, he asked the both of them with a friendly smile, “Would you like more time to decide?”
Looking at V, he could clearly tell she wasn’t ready either. (I’m assuming she didn’t make a decision that quick, but if she did, tell me and I can easily modify)
”Yes, please,” he said, his head turning slightly to look at the waiter again. And then with that, Bradly vanished once again, leaving the two of them alone at their table. So it was time to tell V his idea. ”Would you like to split a meal, love? I’m not a big eater myself, so we could split something if you want to," he asked V. And then with that, he waited for his love’s response.

V's eyes lot up as her love suggested his idea about sharing a meal, she bodded her head. "Sure! sound like a plan to me." she replied smiling. "But...what do we share?" At this she peered back the menu with a slight discourage look on her face. 'There are so many choices....' she thought, as she then let out a small sigh. She looked at all the meals once again, suddenly something caught her eye.
She looked up at Shiro and twiddling with her fingers asked her love, "Um...Shiro? could we get the Chicken Toska?" The girl then hid her face behind the menu after that. The Chicken Toska was one of the cheapest things on menu however, it did sound very appitizing. Down below in the discription it said...Chicken breast lightly breaded, sauteed with mushrooms in a lemon wine sauce. To V it sounded like the perfect meal to share with her love, however Shiro might've differed..
Suddenly the waiter, Bradly appeared again, and getting out a piece of paper and a pencil asked politely. "Well then, are you ready?" V looked at Shiro and taking a small sip of her drink waited for Shiro's reply.
As V looked back at her menu, so did Shiro. Now what would V like…? Would she care for steak? How about chicken? Many thoughts on what his love would like raced through his mind. Thoughts stopped dead as V answered his question. And once she finished, his eyes looked at the Chicken Toska’s menu description. It sounded quite delicious in his opinion. So his eyes returned to look at his love and smiling, he replied, ”Sure, sounds interesting.” Finishing his sentence, he noticed their waiter was walking up to their table. Bradly had perfect timing.
“Well then, are you ready?” the couple’s waiter asked.
Shiro looked at V once again, who looked like she was sure about her decision. Then turning his head back towards the waiter, he replied, ”Yes. We’d like to split the Chicken Toska.” Their waiter didn’t even look down at his paper as he wrote down their order. Giving them a nod and a smile, Bradly rushed away with their order in hand. The man then took a sip of his drink. As he set the glass back down, he started conversation with his girlfriend. ”So, V… How’s it feel so far? You know, to have your own body?”
Shiro knew it had just happened, but wanted to know how V felt about the whole thing. Did she miss it? Did she feel odd in anyway? He bet she did. Shiro knew if he was in V’s position for his whole life, and then just got his own body back, he’d feel a bit odd. V had Shira for a huge part of her life. And now Shira was who knows where with Saxen and Deathblade. He wouldn’t be surprised if V felt a little weird without her. Taking another sip from his drink, he waited for his love’s answer.
(Oh no! Our posts are getting shorter, Ayama! We can’t let this happen! O.o We must make them longer!)

V was surprised by Shiro's sudden question, "how did it feel to have her own body." he had asked. "Well..." she started to say, as she thought about the question. "It's deffinetly different, there aren't any voices popping up in my head anymore...I don't know, it's hard to explain." She closed her eyes, then opening them once again she got into a thinking position.
"Well I guess you could say it's kinda nice, having my own body I sort of feel independent in a way, like as if I have become stronger somehow though that just sounds silly now that I've said that." At this the girl laughed, she looked into the inside of her glass, which showed her the reflection on her eyes, their color the same. "But..." she started to add, taking a sip of her water. "At the same time it's kinda lonely...I don't know I guess I've just been so used to Shira being there, and always looking out for me she was...like my older sister afterall you know?"
"It's..." She was then interrupted as Bradly came back with two plates in his hands, "Here we are!" he said cheerfully, "The chicken Toska, I hope you find it to your liking." He then set the plates in front of Shiro and V, and smiling said. "Well enjoy!" he then left as fast as he came, and rushing past all the other waiters and waitresses disappeared into the kitchen.
It was then V immediately smiled, "Yay!!!" she shouted happily, "dinner! I can't wait to try it!" She then picked up her fork and knife, and looking down at her plate started to make her eyes look teary. She then looked up at her love saying, "It's s beautiful! the smell it gives off is so appealing to my nose!" She then let out a short laugh, then having normal eyes again she looked at Shiro straight in the eyes and smiling said. "Well then let's eat!"
As his love talked, Shiro simply watched her with a small smile. He took a few sips of water as she talked, but he never turned his attention to anything else. He couldn’t help but think about her beauty as she talked and laughed. When she finished saying, “You know?” he gave a small nod. He wanted to listen to her lovely voice more, but sadly, the food came. As Bradly set his plate down, he said with a smile, ”Thanks you.” But he’d never get a response, since Bradly rushed away once both plates were on the couple’s table. Oh well.
His eyes then focused on the food. They had split the meal perfectly, which Shiro thought it was good. The food looked pretty good, and just like V, he couldn’t wait to try it. His regular meals were never like this. The man’s dinner was normally a simple hot dog and a glass of milk, or something like that. Pretty simple, nothing special his diet was. But, the meal that was in front of him was the exact opposite of what he normally ate. So he couldn’t wait to see what it tasted like. But before he would agree with V and dig in, he wanted to say something to his love first.
”Well, I’m no older sister, but I can guarantee you that I’ll always look for you, love. I’ll always be there for you.” he told her with a small smile. And then, changing the subject back to food, he put on a bigger smile and said, ”Well then, let’s try it, shall we?” The man picked up his knife and fork and started to cut his first bite from the chicken. And when done, he picked it up with his fork and raised it to his mouth. Then, Shiro opened his mouth and ate his first bite…
One word.
Delicious.
It was no hot dog, he could say that. In his opinion, it was better than the regular. Swallowing the chicken, his eyes focused on the food again. It was absolutely delicious. He was glad he could share his first “good” meal with V. Setting his fork down, he looked at his love and asked, ”So what do you think, darling?” Did she like it? He sure hoped so, especially since it was their first formal dinner date. A bad meal for one of them during the first time made the chance of them going out to a place like this again unlikely.
V waited until Shiro had his first bite of the chicken before making her own, she was letting his words sink in. It felt nice, knowing you had someone who cared about you so much but she didn't wanna seem like some peathetic girl who needed someone by her all the time. No. She smiled, she wanted to be as strong as Shira, the girl then peered down at her hand her eyes noticing the bright purple glow around it. "That's right..." she thought to herself, "Now that I have this power...I may be able to achieve my goal."
Her thoughts were then interrupted as Shiro asked how she thought of the meal. She gave him a questioning look, then looking down at her plate she realized she still hadn't taken a bite yet! She quickly took up her fork and knife once again, and cutting a small piece plopped the chicken in her mouth. Immediately the girls eyes widened. It was...fantastic! The sauce really brought out the flavor in the chicken, and the small mushroom she tasted after that was simply delicious!
She looked at her love saying excitedly, "It's so good! hee...hee...I can't believe how superb this meal tastes!" She then cut another piece and eating it as well and smiling brightly simply thought in her head, 'Delicious.' She thenasked Shiro the same question. "What do you think of it?" she asked curious, hopefully he thought the same as she did otherwise...the atmosphere could get awkward.
She took another sip from her glass, and realizing the soft music that was playing throughout the entire restaurant tapped her feet to the melody. She smiled once again, she couldn't help it! This place was just so great, she looked at the paintings that laid against the walls, and the beautifully architecture of the building, surely they couldn't have gone to a more beautiful place then this. She then veered her attention back at her love, and taking another bite out of her chicken waited for his response.
Taking another bite out of his meal, he smiled at his love as he chewed with his mouth closed, and watched as his love took her first bite. Her reaction to it pleased Shiro, knowing that they both liked the taste. Once she finished talking about how good it was, she asked him what he thought of it. The answer to that question was an answer he didn’t have to think about at all. ”Delicious. It’s definitely nice to have something other than the usual, right?” he said with a smile. Taking another bite of the meal, he swallowed it and took another sip of his glass of water. And then with that, he started to talk about another subject.
”So, V, what else do I not know about the love of my life?” he asked with a small smile and took another sip. He knew a lot about his girl friend, but he wanted to know more about V, the more casual stuff, like interests and such. Of course, they weren’t going to go to a place like this every night, due the cost of everything. So Shiro wanted to know what other common interests they had, so he could plan different and more fun dates for the two of them. After all, dates like going out to dinner would get boring after a while. Maybe she liked dancing? Maybe she liked to skate? All information would be useful for the future. Taking another bite, he waited for his date’s response.
(I don’t know if she talks or not, but I’m assuming so. If not, please tell me and I’ll modify. Besides that, I’m gonna have Shiro ask another question just to give us something more to work within our posts.)
Once she finished talking, he nodded his head with a smile and changed the subject. He was quite curious about something else that came to his mind. And with that thought, he asked, ”V, I was wondering… Does anything I do with you in public make you feel uncomfortable? Shiro knew he flirted with her whenever he got the chance. He wasn’t afraid at all to show his love towards her in public. But he wasn’t quite sure if V felt the same way as he did. He wanted to know what V thought was considered “too far”, because he didn’t want to make his love feel uncomfortable at all when he would flirt with her or kiss her in public.
