In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

It was a bright, sunny day at Destiny Islands. Birds flew, the waves gently broke as they reached the shore, making a gentle noise. It was such a peaceful scene, but all of that was about to change. Xaldin stood on the sand, looking around him at the scene. Every little detail was noted in his head, and one especially:
Where were the Heartless?
Usually a Nobody appearing would bring them in, but the lack puzzled Xaldin. It was his duty to gather intelligence on the Heartless, and this wasn't helping. With a small flick of his hand, 10 Dragoons surrounded him, sitting silently as he opened another portal, this time to a cliff that was fairly high.
As he stepped out of the portal, he pointed at the ocean, swirls of air surrounding him. Slowly, the breeze grew into a gust, then grew to a very high intensity. The water began chopping up into higher waves as the wind bent to Xaldin's will. His Dragoons scattered, looking for Heartless, and he lowered his hand, satisfied with what he had done for now. Over time, the winds would slowly increase speed, until they would create giant tidal waves that would wipe out anything on the shore.
If the Heartless wouldn't show up, the he had to have some fun.

~The Song In My Heart, Can Only Be Sung, When The Water Reflects In Your Eyes~

Crystal sighed happily after another daily swim, soon transforming into her human form secretly as she got out of the water. Ever since that day when her best friend returned, she had never felt happier, she truly hoped he would visit her again very soon, she felt as if nothing could ruin her mood at the given moment.
"Hopefully he won't be so busy in future," she chuckled softly to herself as she sat down on the sand as the tide went back and forth, she made sure to keep her feet away from the water. A smile spread across her thin blue-ish lips as she watched the glistening ocean, everything felt so peaceful at that moment. but all was about to change...
Bizarrely, Crystal felt a change in the depth of her heart, something was wrong... it was then she looked at the water, it felt as if it was speaking with her. Being an Undine, Crystal had a very strong connection with water of all kinds, this wasn't right. Startled, she stood up quickly, backing away slightly from the ocean, it was then the weather began to change also.
It was becoming more windy, and the ocean was in distress, she tried to do all she could to calm it, but it only put her in distress also. "Wh... what's going on?" her voice shook as she placed a hand over her faster beating heart, her hair blew furiously in the wind, the trees were being thrashed around, fruit even fell from trees.
What could've been happening? It was then Crystal truly wished Demyx was with her right now, her eyes widened in fear as she noticed creatures wandering around, she just turned in all directions, she tried not to show it, but she was scared.
The winds, by now, had rose to a high enough speed to bend the palm trees over and bring the waves to a rather dangerous height. As Xaldin stood on the cliff, manipulating the wind, his Dragoons slithered their way throughout the world, looking for natives that were on the islands. One particular Dragoon, the leader of the pack, saw a young girl sitting on the shore, and slinked closer to her. It had been noticed, but stealth wasn't the objective of the mission. At a mental command, the other Dragoons opened their dark portals, coming to the leader, then moved towards the girl, lances held forth.
As they did this, Xaldin was able to sense all they did. Apparently, they had found somebody, and were comencing to attack, but Xaldin gave them the mental command to stop. Darkness surrounded him as he went to the area his Nobody minions were located. Stepping out, he took a good look at the girl, who seemed and smelled frightened.
She's no human...Perfect.
"You shouldn't be out in this storm, girl." said the Whirlwind Lancer, his Dragoons moving behind him. "Who knows whether the ocean will sweep you in..." He knew that the wisps of air magic would be moving around him, but it didn't bother him. He was looking for a challenge, and he hoped this girl would deliver.

The winds just seemed to be getting worst and worst, Crystal didn't understand, the weather was fine a moment ago, clearly something had to be wrong, but what?
Just then, Crystal found herself surrounded, her eyes widened as the strange creatures formed around her, what surprised her most is that they had the exact same symbol on them... just like the ones that attacked her and Demyx a few days ago. Knowing they were not friendly, Crystal summoned Aquarius, twirling it in her one hand before getting into an attack stance.
It was then a portal appeared and a figure stepped out of it, looking at it from down to up, she at first thought it was Demyx, but her hopes were crushed as she saw it was someone else... wait, why was he wearing the same cloak Demyx would always wear? What was going on?
"Who... who are you...?" she asked warily, taking a small step back to keep her distance, she got into an offensive position as he spoke, even Crystal knew she was no weakling "say what you want, but the water would never harm me!"
As that was said, the waves seemed to react to her anger, crashing against a partial rocky cliff. "Just who do you think you are just coming here! You're an outsider, that's for sure..." though despite her words, Crystal just couldn't place her finger on why he was dressed like this... he wore exactly what Demyx wore.
A low checkle was all Xaldin gave the girl at first. Looking her down, he saw her stance with that spear, obviously a trained stance. For how innocent she seemed, she would be a challenge. But that's exactly what he was looking for.
"Yes, I am what you would call an outsider." he simply said as six pillars of air appeared around him. "It would be best for you not to get in the way of Organization XIII, girl." The six pillars of wind solidified into his lances, and he snagged three, the others floating around him. He floated about a half foot above the ground, ready in case she attacked. But, first, he wanted an idea of her power. With a mental nod to his Dragoons, they engaged, heading towards the girl with their own lances ready.
"I'll give you one more chance to give up and go home." he said. Then, almost to himself, he said, "Pity there aren't more of you. Demyx said there were more than one on these islands." As he said that, a cyclone began to surround the Dragoons, himself and the girl. He wanted no interference in this test.

Crystal frowned as the man began to chuckle, giving her no answer of what his name was, or even who he was, all he mentioned was some Organization... wait, did that mean this man had done something to Demyx? Crystal didn't want to believe it, but at the same time she wanted to believe over something else she was thinking.
"Well, what reason do you have to be here!" she shot back at him, gripping her trident-like spear tightly. Destiny Island may not have been her true home, but she would still defend it. Just then, the man seemed to have commanded his minions to attack her, Crystal cried out as she ducked one of the attacks and slashed the creature in the back, it soon burst into small orbs.
She had no idea what the man was doing now, she could only just barely hear him. With an annoyed grunt, she stopped and placed her weapon on her back, then put her two thumbs and index fingers together in a circle where she soon blew into it, magically creating a large bubble which soon popped into many smaller bubbles.
With a wave of her hand, the bubbles seemed to lock onto their targets and once they popped on impact, it wasn't your usual pop, instead, they exploded with great force, hopefully that'd keep them away, maybe even destroy a few.
Just as she regained her breath back, she next nearly choked at the man's words. Had he just mentioned Demyx? Crystal felt a slight feeling in her heart, one that she always felt when around him, though it soon went away as she became worried.
"You..." she whispered at first, before shouting at him "how exactly do you know Demyx!?" Her fists shook by her sides as a cyclone began to form, but she demanded an answer.
Very little surprised Xaldin, but what the girl said surprised him a bit. "How do you know Demyx, girl?" he said, lowering his lances a bit. Apparently, the Melodious Nocturne had been slacking on his duties. Again. Irritation overcame him, and he dismissed his spears, instead summoning more Dragoons around the girl. "If you know Demyx, then you know too much to be free." At the gesture of a hand, his Nobodies leaped at the girl, holdingher down and immobile. "So why not take a souvenir home with me? I'm sure Demyx will enjoy your company." he said sarcastically, opening a portal behind the girl. If she couldn't fight the Dragoons off, then she would be dragged through it and back to The Castle That Never Was. As an afterthought, Xaldin used his Nothingness powers to make her a shield to the dark taint of the portal, not trying to release her darkness.

Crystal soon became partially annoyed at this man calling her girl, who did he think he was anyway? "My name is Crystal!" she growled, throwing her hand to the side in anger before answering him, not that he deserved it "and Demyx is my friend! He's been so for the past month or so, though I fail to see how that's any of your business!"
His next words startled Crystal, wait... what did he mean by knowing too much, she was slowly beginning to feel a sick feeling in the pit of her stomach. Had Demyx been hiding something from her? No... no, he couldn't have... he wouldn't do that to her, would he...?
Crystal was now worried, this didn't feel right at all, but before she could even say or do anything, the next thing she knew was that she was now on the ground, being pinned down by the man's minions. "Hey! What do you think you're doing!? Get off me!" she cried, struggling to break free, but the stress of the water was just too much for her to concentrate.
She couldn't believe this was happening, had Demyx betrayed her? Or was he innocent in all this? But then again... why didn't he rarely speak about himself? Crystal just didn't know... she didn't know what to do...
Somewhere deep inside... her heart was breaking...
"Sadly, girl, Demyx is my buisness." said the Whirlwind Lancer to Crystal, ordering his Dragoons to stop for a moment. "I am his superior, and he will have to learn his place." Looking at the girl, he noticed something that he hadn't seen in somebody's eyes for a long while, for it didn't show in Nobodies. "Ahh, you care for him, I see." He said with a small grin. "Well, you two will have a chance to bond at our castle. I'm sure that you'll enjoy that, no?" With a gesture of his hand, the cyclone began to die down and the winds stopped. He hadn't achieved total destruction, but he had the next best thing--a prisoner.
Nodding his head at the Dragoons, they began to move towards the portal, dragging the girl.
Which was in the water.
((Hope you don't mind that, but Xaldin needs her to live, and he needs to know that Crystal needs water.))

This feeling... if felt so awful, she didn't want to believe it was true, but... had Demyx really betrayed her? Had he only been her friend just so this could happen to her? She honestly didn't know, whether it was believed or not, it still sent sadness to her heart...
Even if it was true, she still felt the same towards him, as hard as it would be to believe. "Don't... don't hurt him..." she said, her mystic topaz eyes slowly beginning to sadden, how unfortunate, even in a situation like this and all she cared about was someone else's safety, she felt a slight tinge of annoyance as he said about her caring for him... well, of course she did... though given the situation, anyone would wonder why...
Before anything else could be said or done, Crystal felt her heart leap with panic as she was dragged towards the water. No! She didn't want to transform back yet! And if he saw her in her true form, no doubt he'd use it to his advantage...
Though, it was too late, her beautiful tail soon replaced her legs as she was dragged, she just shut her eyes tightly, hoping nothing bad would happen.
The Dragoons froze as they heard their master speak. He walked up to the girl, placing a hand on her now-transformed tail. "This is interesting..." he whispered. "It seems our prisoner will need water to survive..." A few Dragoons went ahead to the Castle, preparing the water cell. "Proceed." he said, watching as the girl went through the portal, then stepped through himself.
((Blah post is blah because I had about 5 minutes to do it. >.< Stupid teacher))
