In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

The hostage was safe in her cell, and Xaldin's return to the castle had gone fine. The girl was safe in a water cell, ready for interrogation. But first, there was a problem to deal with. Leaving a small army of Dragoons as guards, Xaldin portaled to the Grey Room, his arms crossed. Looking around, he was surprised the Melodious Nocturne wasn' sitting there playing his sitar. But he had really screwed up this time, and had to pay the price. He rose his voice very high, knowing he would be heard.
"Demyx!!!" he yelled, letting a hint of anger enter his voice. It was time the lesser Nobody learned his place. "Get down here now!"

~Please, don't leave me here... I have to be free, to ride the ocean's back, I can't stay like this... Why didn't you tell me the truth? I...~ Crystal's Singing; Siren's Sadness
- - - - - - - - - - -
Crystal had remained in her underwater cell for a while now, it looked more like an aquarium tank, she felt much like some sort of display for people to look at, luckily there was a corner where she felt partially safe. Her tail was pulled to her chest, much like knees would, her arms rested on it as she buried her head in them so no one could see her face...
Since she got here, all she had been doing was sing her sad song, it echoed all throughout the building, it was all she could do, she had been told to be quiet, but she just kept on singing, she felt so much sadness right then, she felt caged... she didn't want this...
Tears escaped from her closed eyes and floated up to the surface of the tank, though there was no way she could get out as it was barred. She didn't want to talk, she only sung...
Despite everything, her feelings never changed, she knew she was consumed by sadness, but she wouldn't let darkness take over her heart...
Demyx laid silently in his room on his bed, as he stared blankly at the white walls which surrounded his room. His Sitar was right next to him, waiting to be played, but for some reason the nocturne just didn't feel like it today. It was wired...ever since he left Crystal and returned to the Organization he felt...what was the word...sad? But how could that be? It wasn't like the nobody had a heart, so what was causing him to think this way?
He pondered over the question in his head, trying to figure out a simple explanation for his strange behavior...but nothing came to mind. Suddenly he could hear his name being called out, which literally made the nocturne jump in surprise.
"Demyx!!!" Said a voice that sounded like Xaldin, "Get down here!" 'Man does he sound upset...' Deny thought, a little frightened. 'What does he want with me?'
Not wanting to make matters worst by making Xaldin wait for him, the nocturne instantly got up and extending his hand created a dark void which transported him to the Grey room. Once there, he gave the superior nobody a nervous grin saying. "Well hey Xaldin! How have you been doing?"

As the Melodious Nocturne appeared before him, Xaldin crossed his arms, a look of slight annoyance on his face. "It appears that your mission on Destiny Islands was, as I expected, wasted on pointless antics." As he spoke, his anger gradually grew, and he got closer to Demyx until he could feel the fabric of his cloak through his glove.
"Now, I just so happened to run into a friend of yours..." He put the slightest emphasis on the word friend, a small razor edge that was barely noticeable, but still deadly if disturbed. "...and it seems that you've placed your needs above the Organizations."
As he finished, a dark portal opened around both of them, taking them to the prisoner's tank. Xaldin let Demyx go and gave him a sharp look.

Crystal's singing seemed to slowly float from room to room, hallway to hallway, and cell to cell, so beautiful yet so sad was her song, much like a story, it told of her sadness, her betrayal... and her very heartbreak, but... for reasons unknown, her previous feelings came back every now and then, she wanted to embrace them... but, she was at the point where she didn't know what to do.
Sadly, she raised her head from her arms, looking around the water filled cell, there was nothing else to keep her company, just a few artificial rocks, some larger rocks here and there, a patch of sand and various sea plants. It was nowhere near as close as her homeland, not even Destiny Islands either.
With a sigh, she moved away from the corner, gracefully swimming over to the sandy patch where she let herself lay down on it, curling up and hugging herself, she was facing the glass part of her cell, but she didn't look outside it, instead her eyes just lowered and stared into space.
Demyx was taken back by Xaldin's words, as the other nobody got closer to him, the nocturne became extremely nervous. "W-What do you mean my mission was wasted on pointless antics?" he stuttered, laughing so to cover the fact he was scared. He then closed his eyes, and regaining his composure looked back at Xaldin with a slight smile. "You saw my report, I gave you all the information there was on Destiny Island and I told you, there were no signs of any member of Otginization XII."
The nobodies words soon stopped as he his superior say, "Now, I just so happened to run into a friend of yours..." At this the nocturne froze up. Friend? Demyx's eyes widened slightly, "No...you don't mean..." he whispered. Xaldin then added, "...and it seems you've placed placed your needs above the Orginization."
Denys shook his head, but before he could say anything a dark portal appeared from underneath them, surrounding them in darkness, when the darkness then disperse Demyx found himself in a different part of the castle, one he had never seen before. 'What is this!?' he thought panicked. In front of him was a large tank filled to the brim with water. He could then hear sweet melodious notes entering his ears, that voice...was so familiar.
"Now, look what you've done to your "friend." Xaldin said.
Demyx looked deeper into the clear water, then looking around frantically he saw a small figure curled up over a sandy patch in the tank. "Crystal..." Demyx sad softly, but loud enough for everyone to hear.

Xaldin watched as Demyx looked at the girl, a thoughtful expression on his face.
A Nobody expressing sorrow...Interesting.
"Now, Demyx, I have had enough with your games on missions, so I'm giving you a mission of the upmost importance. As of now, this girl is my prisoner, but is now your responsibility. You are to be her guard around the castle." With that, he turned on his heel and faced the cell, lowering the magic barrier that he had created. The water started spilling out onto the floor until the cell was dry.
Looking at Crystal, he said, "Now, if you try to let her escape, it will be the last thing you ever do. She is to be restricted to the library, the Hall of Empty Melodies, the Grey Area and her cell. If she is found anywhere else, I will terminate her. Understood, Demyx?"

Crystal remained laying there, the soft melodies still escaping her. For a while it continued, until she finally heard something. "Hm?" she looked up from where she lay, looking towards the glass, her eyes lit up at what she saw. That man who had taken her here was there... and...
"Demyx..." she said softly, swimming over to the glass and placing her fingertips on it gently, though they wouldn't have been able to hear her speaking. She looked at them like a confused puppy, she still didn't understand why she was here and what was going on.
Despite just being sad, Crystal felt somewhat happy, relieved even that Demyx was there. A soft yet sad smile appeared on her face, before she could do anything else, she looked up to see the water draining. What!? Wait... she wasn't ready to transform!
Placing her hands over her mouth, Crystal took a deep breath as the water went away, she was sitting there still as an undine whilst holding her breath, slowly forcing herself to transform, the bubbles cleared and her legs appeared.
She slowly struggled to get up, wobbling on her feet slightly as she got use to walking again. She just stood there for a while, looking at the two, despite the happiness... Crystal was partially scared... Demyx wouldn't harm her...
Demyx could feel himself choke up as he watched Crystal swim up to him and put her hand on the glass, what had he done? Never had the nobody wanted Crystal to get stuck with the Orginization, and yet...here she was trapped in water cell. 'This is bad...' he thought, his hands shaking only slightly. He then turned his head as he heard Xaldin speak.
"Now, Demyx, I have had enough with your games on missions, so I'm giving you a mission of the upmost importance. As of now, this girl is my prisoner, but is now your responsibility. You are to be her guard around the castle."... Wait what did he say? did he...just make him Crystals bodyguard? Well that was surprising! He was expecting Xaldin to attack him then, or destroy him into nothingness but he guessed not. His eyes then widened, as the other nobody dropped the barrier releasing water onto the floor. The nocturne was shocked, "Hey what are you doing!?" he asked.
He turned back to the cell to see Crystal was surprised as well, he watched as her tail began to turn into legs, and was worried when she struggled to get up, wobbling a little bit. It was then Xaldin spoke again...Looking at Crystal, he said, "Now, if you try to let her escape, it will be the last thing you ever do. She is to be restricted to the library, the Hall of Empty Melodies, the Grey Area and her cell. If she is found anywhere else, I will terminate her. Understood, Demyx?"
The nobody looked at the undine for a second, then looking at the ground he sad in a solemn tone. "Yes...understood..."

Xaldin just looked at the Nocturne as he gave his timid answer, satisfied. He now had a way to prevent Demyx from screwing around, and a strong hearted hostage to boot. Turning to the girl, he held out a hand to help her us, while saying, "Just because I captured you doesn't mean I will hurt you. I feel you may be a valuable assett to Demyx and the Organization." Then, almost to himself, he said, "At least I hope..."
Then, he continued. "We are a group who oppose the Heartless in their quest to devour the worlds. They are our enemies, just as I assume they are yours." Now, he was using his manipulation at full-blast, telling the girl what she wanted to hear. And he was fairly confident it would work.

For a while Crystal felt quite sick, not physically, more emotionally than anything. Looking over at Demyx, she could feel his grief emitting from him, realising just how upset he seemed... Crystal knew this wasn't his idea, he would never do this to her."De-..." before she could so much as utter a single word of his name, she grunted as she felt her legs collapse, causing her to fall down to her knees, hissing at the thud. Crystal flinched as she saw the other man walking towards her, for a moment she thought he'd do something, but when he held his hand out to her, she blinked and just stared at it as he began to speak. She wondered what he meant by her being a valuable asset to Demyx and... the Organization? What was that? Then again, there was such a thing as knowing too much, so she just didn't ask. Thinking of his further words, Crystal couldn't help but think of someone back home. A new friend she had made... he had been fighting the Heartless for a long while, trying his hardest to prevent them from taking his home.
Placing her heart over her heart, Crystal thought for a moment, she wanted nothing more than to help him, he had been so kind and honest with her, maybe she could help him by being here? Was it really possible?
And then, there was Demyx, Crystal had always enjoyed him being near, his company made her feel whole and relaxed, she didn't have a care in the world when he was by her side, making jokes and playing his sitar, maybe she could hear him play it more from now on.
However, this was a hard choice to make, she wanted to help... but what if-? No, she shouldn't have kept questioning everything, the knowledge she had now was enough, she'd act on her own instinct. Placing her hand in Xaldin's, she let him help her up, once she was standing, she spoke softly. "Fine... considering I can't exactly leave this place, I may as well provide some service to help," she then paused, staring sharply at him "however, considering I'm not one hundred per cent sure about what this Organization represents, I do not intend to know just yet, so I'm going to go along with the knowledge I have now."
She took a deep breath, trying to shake off the bad feeling she was getting. "I may not be very powerful, but I'm intelligent and capable fighter, so I will defend myself, you must promise that no harm will come to me whilst I am here, I'm assuming there's more of you, so if they see me and attack first without me so much as provoking them, I expect them to be punished, it's only fair..." she was rather strict with her terms, however, she wasn't really asking for much, only that she was safe during her stay here, otherwise, what use would she be?
Now that she was done talking to him, she finally looked back at Demyx, who was staring at the ground... he seemed... so upset. Calmly, she walked over to him, stumbling here and there slightly, once she was facing him, her arms soon wrapped around his shoulders, one of her hands rested on the back of his head.
Whispering into his ear so that only he could hear, she said. "Everything will be alright... I'm not mad at you, I'm actually quite happy you're with me," she smiled, gently stroking the hair that she so adored. She gently hugged him closer so her chest was against his, her heart practically thumping for him to feel.
When she finally pulled away, she moved his head up a little with her finger under his chin, she tilt her head to the side and smiled softly. "I'll he alright, 'cause you'll take care of me, at least it's something you can enjoy," she tried to do what he always did when she was sad, brighten the mood up a little "besides, we can play our music together for as long as we want!"
Crystal knew she had a bad feeling about some parts of this, but... at least Demyx was with her. She wondered what just might happen in future.
As the nocturne listened to Crystals words he still had a frown on his face, he knew she was trying to brighten his mood but really this was wrong...How dare Xaldin drag his only friend into their situation! but it wasn't only that, he knew the game his superior was playing and almost felt sick to his stomach as he thought about. Now that he had something to put over the nobodies head, he would have to now work like the rest of the members...and that was never a good thing to Demyx, not at all.
Though he did have to laugh when the undone commented that they could play their music for as long as they wanted, a small smiled crept on his face as he looked at Crystal in the eyes and said. "Yeah that is if Saix doesn't kill us." He knew Crystal wouldn't understand at first, but soon she would. Saix....the superiors right hand man. How that scar face freak intimidated him. He would always shout at the nocturne to stop playing his sitar, saying that his music was just plain trash. Yeah...as if he knew anything about music.
Before it was just him that annoyed scare face, but now that Crystal was here...oh man! it was gonna be a living nightmare for Saix. The nocturne let out another laugh, maybe the undine was right...perhaps everything would be ok. They could spend more time togeather, and as she had said earlier, he would watch over her and protect her. Never under any circumstances would he allow the other members to hurt her, not even Larxene who he knew would try eventually once she found out about the undine.
He let out a sigh, then feeling a little but better thought to himself, 'If she's willing to stay here well...then I guess I can't argue with that.' He then smiled at her and whispering so that only she could hear him said. "Thank you..."

Something was different around Demyx when he was around the girl...he seemed to show emotions. With that thought, Xaldin pondered it, knowing Vexen would want to know this particular tidbit of information. But Xaldin, remembering Vexen's reaction in Castle Oblivion, dismissed that idea, and instead looked to Demyx. "Keep her safe, Nocturne. The others will sense the newcomer, and they will oppose you." With that, he opened a portal and stepped through it.

Crystal smiled and nodded, feeling that she had achieved in cheering Demyx up, she never wanted to see him sad, not ever. She didn't care where she was, just as long as she was with him. "Hehe, no worries, mkay?" she smiled, taking his hand in hers as the man before finally left them. She had to admit that she had no idea what was going on, and she wouldn't ask Demyx if he didn't want to tell her.
All that mattered to her right now is that he was here and he knew that he'd take care of her no matter what, that's what she liked about him, if not more. Dismissing the feeling, she just held his hand and pulled him towards the direction she began running. "Come on! Show me around, okay?" she smiled brightly at him, she knew this was no holiday, something serious was going on...
She just couldn't let Demyx know she was partially scared.
