Name: Silver
Nickname:Faceless
Age: 20
Gender: Male
Species:Human
Position: Thinks he's good but is questionable
Powers: Energy Mastery: All of Silver's powers are based upon this. In one sense he has complete control over all "scientific" forms of energy. that is to say he can get energy to bend to his will. there are several ways in which he does this.
Energy Absorption: Silver is able to absorb different kinds of energy around him such as heat, electricity and even sound. He can store this in his body and use it to perform other abilities, one of his favorites is to absorb the heat energy in an object, (sometimes human) causing it to completely turn to ice. Some disadvantages of this are that he must be close or sometimes in physical contact with the energy source he wants to absorb. also since he is human absorbing too much energy or absorbing energy for too long can damage his body or cause him to lose control.
Energy Projection - after absorbing energy he can then direct it at a target and fire it in whatever form it is in e.g. fire or electricity. however he can only release as much energy as he has absorbed which limits this power and if he over exerts himself he can drain his own life energy and cause major damage or death.
Stealth - By absorbing the sound waves around him Silver can move silently and surprise enemies. also if he is inside he can absorb the light in the room as long as there is not an external light source. (too much light to absorb i.e from the sun would damage his body).
Aura detection - As he understands and controls energy he can also see the energy inside and surrounding other people, and so can see their emotions and energy movements.
Weapon:Silver is not too keen on using weapons as they are too conspicuous, and he much prefers to fight using energy. however as a precaution he carries a rapier that is concealed beneath his clothing and a dagger tucked in his boot.
Picture:iamundercover.files.wordpress.com/2009/06/hei_dtb.jpgAppearance: Silver has short/mid brown hair that is stuck up from the back to the front. he is quite tall and thin and wears a black coat coat that has been cut off just above the knee. underneath the coat he wears a white shirt with a thin black tie, much like a school uniform. He wears black skinny jeans with high top military boots. He also has a black and silver masquerade mask that he carries with him and wears when he is on a job and in combat.
Personality: silver never does anything without giving it deep thought first, and even when performing things that others see as "reckless" it is always something he has planned to a T. At first thought he wouldn't seem like a very sociable person as he does not talk usually unless spoken to, and but this is because he is usually deep in thought and is more unfocussed on the conversation than unsociable. he is usually devising plans rather than joining in with conversations and is extremely nostalgic about the death of his family. deep down he is a very friendly person who, although seen as a loner really enjoys the company of others and the feeling of belonging.
Original World: Traverse town
Current World: roaming but usually stays in Traverse town
History:Silver grew up as a very normal person in traverse town with a normal family and normal friends. He was an average child and was often getting into trouble for being reckless and impulsive, and not thinking about his actions until faced with the consequences.
His life then took a turn when he discovered his powers. after discovering what he could do, he began to experiment with his powers, doing reckless stunts and party tricks. However one night when playing with his powers he lost control and set his family home ablaze. he only managed to escape as his father found him and threw him out the window before the house exploded, killing everyone inside. This changed Silver deeply, and made him question his whole life and what he was becoming. Who he was had caused his families death. he began to hate himself, and wore a mask so he did not have to face himself in the mirror. Over time he started to hate others for being reckless, and so spent his teenage years hunting down people he saw as most dangerous and irresponsible, people like him, people with powers. he forced them to learn to control their powers, and killed anyone who refused or resisted. through doing this he became an excellent fighter and master of his abilities. He still misses his family, and so takes comfort in any other social interaction he gets, which had made him compassionate as well as ruthless. recently he has turned his attention to the heartless and the nobodies, who seem a bigger threat to his world and the people he cares about.
Role Playing Sample: I looked into the crowd to see if there was anything I could see. Nothing. No tell, no indication whatsoever to suggest that the killer was here. Before I knew it the sun had gone down, and I was still no closer to the killer than I was when I arrived. I decided to do one more sweep of the city center and then thy again tomorrow. I didn't need to bother. There she was. She was right there, I could see the energy around her. It was alive. It was everywhere. Just looking at all that power sent a welcome chill down my spine. I followed her for the next hour, always keeping plenty of distance so she didn't suspect anything. It was pretty easy keeping a large distance. It was almost impossible to lose sight of her with all that energy surrounding her.
Then her energy seemed to change. Before it seemed relatively calm, huge and conspicuous, but it stayed constant. Now however it was everywhere, huge sparks and waves of energy were flying all through the air, waves of energy reaching out into the crowd with excitement. It started to touch other peoples aura as it shot out, changing it. Before their energy was tiny and calm. Just different colours displaying their unique emotions. But now it started to become more mobile, bigger, energized and the same electric blue as the girl's. Then people's attitudes began to change. They all seems to be moving faster, becoming louder, more frantic. Excited. That's when I realized. They were feeling what she felt. Her energy was so powerful that it was overspilling into other people, overwhelming their own emotions and filling them with hers'. It was beautiful to look at. Energy was everywhere, lighting up the night as people's energy passed into each other, until there was a sea of electric blue illuminating the darkness, filling the sky with light. And there they were, completely oblivious to what was happening, blind to the beautiful scene right in front of them.
I snapped myself out of my trance and turned to see where the girl was stood. She was gone. I looked around frantically to find her again. It didn't take long. She was about 300 feet away, her light was still shining ten times brighter than everyone else’s. A beacon, drawing me to her like a moth to a flame. I made my way towards her as fast as I could without arousing any suspicion from the crowd, but I still moved unnaturally fast. I had to catch up to her. I knew exactly what she was excited about. I was only a few feet away from her when she turned into an alley. This was it, she'd found another victim. I could feel it, even with my own energy being strong, I could still feel hers. It gave her intentions away. It also scared me, her energy was so wild it was frightening. As I turned into the alley they the first thing I saw was the girl. She was completely still, even her energy had stopped moving. But I could still feel it. It was wrapped tightly around her, vibrating furiously. She was getting ready to release it. To attack.
I looked in the direction she was staring, and saw her target. She looked about seventeen, with long blonde hair, quite attractive from what I could tell in the limited light. She was walking in the opposite direction, talking on her phone. She hadn't noticed anyone else in the alley. Her energy was calm, a soft red that seemed to flash scarlet on a few occasions. Perhaps she was talking to her boyfriend, maybe a lover. It didn't really matter. Looking at her, knowing what was about to happen, she just seemed so innocent, so naïve to everything, so insignificant.
“I wouldn't do that if I were you.” I said calmly.
