In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

One silver eyebrow rose delicately as Setzer observed the next contestants taking their places in the arena. The third female that day. Ah, a woman's fighting spirit. . . what a wonderful thing. . .
"Seventh match - Rose versus Wakeer!" Setzer told the audience, bemused, and they responded with an uproar of applause.
"Well now. Halen, hold these," she said to the Heartless. For once he had decided to disguise himself, and now looked like insert-average-guy-here. She handed over her shotgun, sword, hammer, and explosive devices, then pikced up the heavy defense club. She hefted it, a vicious smile on her face. "Lets get this started." She pressed a few keys on her computer, and music began to play. "I'll let you go first, and, I'll even give you tip. This ain't a sword, and stabbing doesn't hurt. It's a club. Treat it as such," she said, that evil smile not shifting an inch. She was talking for a few reasons. One, she was feeling cocky; two, she knew how to handle pain; and three, to psyche out her foe, though all the weapons she offloaded on Halen should also have that effect.
