Character Name: Lakuria Lily Syaoran

Cura
Summon: This ability is pretty new to Lakuri so she isn’t fantastic at using it yet…. Or even moderately good.
Lakuri currently only has one summon, which is a small dragon/dog/bunny/ thing ( I haven’t been able to draw him, here’s the ref though:
I’m going to replace the green with pink That is about the size of a large parrot. His name is Peaches and he really doesn’t do much to help Lakuri aside from bite and scratch at heartless which she couldn’t fight off herself.
However, once Lakuri gets used to this ability, and gets stronger herself, He will grow in power as well.
Weapons: Although Lakuri has tried several different weapons, she doesn’t have any on her almost ever because she is bad at using them.
Pictures:
Appearance:Lakuria is a girl about 5’4”; She’s pretty thin, weighing 120lbs. (which is underweight)
She has very bright lime green eyes, and her hair is a bit unusual, being that the entire inner layer of her hair s died pink, and a natural light brown on her outer hair layer.
Aside from her first impressional appearance, Lakuri’s most significant appearance “flaw” is her scar. Lakuri has a scar that starts just below her bra line on her right side, and reaches to her hip. As well as that giant scar, she has several smaller ones from simply being beaten by her captors when she was little, but those aren’t very noticeable.
Clothing wise, Lakuri likes to dress pretty girly. She likes to wear anything that will show off her figure, so anything that is low cut or strapless, and short is good with her. She changes around clothes a lot so there isn’t “one” outfit to describe like there is with a lot of characters. She has a lot of different tops, and two dresses already.
Lastly, Lakuri wears two things of significance.
One is the necklace she always wears around her neck. It’s a small pink heart on a silver chain, which was given to her by Kyriu, its probably her most cherished possession.
The other is a little newer; a ring that was also given to her as a present from Kyriu that she wears it on her left hand, so that it looks like she is engaged
Personality: Theme Song: World is Mine - Hatsune MikuLakurixKyriu:
All I Ask Of You -Phantom of the Opera Romeo and Cinderella - Hatsune MikuTo sum up Lakuri’s personality, she acts like a Princess. She thinks somewhere in that head of hers that she is special, and
needs to be paid attention to by
everyone. This however is mostly subconscious. She doesn’t literally go up to people and say “HEY LOOK AT ME!” But she defiantly tries to obtain, and keep peoples attention, and then is very hurt when they don’t listen.
Lakuri’s also very demanding. She almost can’t stand not getting her way, and is EXTREMLY manipulative, so much to the point that most, don’t even realize they are being manipulated. Something that lightens this up a little however, is she tends to be indifferent on a lot of bigger issues. She only gets demanding, mostly when matters return to the amount of attention she’s getting.
Lakuri’s very, very sensitive on top of all this. It’s quite easy to make her cry.
Now, looking aside from her faults; Lakuri is extremely friendly. She enjoys having people around her, and is usual not shy in the least. She’s not afraid to stick up for anyone, even if she knows that she can’t do much, she’ll still try. She just really wants to be helpful to people, and make friends, even if it means endangering herself.
One last thing is in regards to Lakuri’s personality, relates to her boyfriend Kyriu.
Lakuri is very protective of him when confronted with other girls, and she may or may not act nicely towards them. When other guys are around however she acts semi-normal, only seeming to be not quite as open to them as she usually would be.
Original World: Amaryllis City (Although she doesn’t know this)
Current World: Traverse Town
History/Background: ( Look at her sister Fiona’s profile if you wish to know what really happened to her.)
At about five years old, Lakuri was kidnapped from her house by a gang. Lakuri was from a quite wealthy family, so she was kidnapped, and help captive for ransom money.
Along with being pretty rich, Lakuri also had a pretty big family, although she was the little baby, being the youngest, and the second girl of three boys.
Lakuri was quite a little trouble maker when she was that little. She liked to play pranks on the maids and nannies that where to take care of her and her other siblings. These weren’t even that bad though since… the mind of a baby-five year old isn’t that great at pranks. Most of the time, the worse ones where still blamed on little Kuri by her older sister Fiona, who always played the “it was Lakuri” card; while Kuri could barely talk or couldn’t make enough sense to deny it.
As for Lakuri’s later life, it was hard. She spent a few years simply being a captive and not being treated very well, although better the in her future.
After a year or so had passed without any word from her family to save her, the gang was just about ready to dispose of her, until they noticed that she was a lot smaller then of the other members, meaning that she could get into tight places easier, and with some training, she had the potential to help them out a lot.
The question is… how to teach a six-seven year old. None of the gang members really understood how to do this “nicely” So Lakuri was hit, or just injured I some way, if she did something wrong. This helped result in several of her smaller scars in her much later life.
One thing that Lakuri had often done while she was on a “break”, which was usually when everyone else was asleep, was she liked to have some company that was actually nice to her. Lakuri would stay up and summon these little creatures that where very small and cute, just like the size o her hand or so ( She gained this ability from her mother). They wouldn’t beat her, all they did was keep her company until the others woke up again; and the process repeated.
However once the gang had found out about these little creatures, they where taken away from her. If any of them caught her messing with any of the little creatures, Lakuri was severely punished… So she eventually just forgot about this skill.
Things where then starting to go as “well” as they could. Lakuri listened to whatever the heck the gang wanted from her, without question for the next few years to avoid more pain.
At the age of eleven however, Lakuri started to get a little restless again. Her brain had developed enough by what she had seen when out on missions, and just by her age to know she wanted out of here…. She wanted to have her own life, and be free.
She also knew however that her boss would never allow her to get that immediately, she had to start small, very small.
One night while he, and a few of the other members where drunk out of their minds, Lakuri decided to bring this up to him, since she figured he wouldn’t be using his brain as much.
She asked if she could be allowed to go out by herself, with no mission or anything for an hour once a week or something, she thought that this was pretty reasonable.
The boss thought otherwise. He immediately started to yell very harshly at Lakuri, who for once in her life… fought back.
This outraged her boss even more and he pulled a knife of her. Lakuri immediately turned and ran as fast as she possibly could through the rest of the base, out the door and onto the streets where she would have a bit more of an advantage.
Lakuri knew that she was really no match for the boss, since he taught her every thing there was about fighting, however she knew she was faster. All she had to do was run long enough to find help, maybe from the police!
She knew were the station was since she had to avoid it a lot, but maybe they could help her.
The leader however wouldn’t let this happen. Instead of immediately taking off, He made sure that more of the members would be out to catch her before he ran after her.
Lakuri was cut off a few times by the other members, who she jumped over and such, since she couldn’t afford to stop and actually fight.
She had almost gotten to the police station, and would have been safe, but she was cut off finally by the boss, who knew exactly how to catch her.
He managed to grab her arm long enough to make Lakuri stumble and then flip and slide onto the ground.
The boss simply laughed at her and her again, attempt to escape, but more members got in the way. After the boss was finished yelling at Lakuri, and he allowed the other to strike at her a bit, he told them to back off, and took out the knife he had been carrying with him.
Lakuri took this as the perfect opportunity to try to escape again, and this saved her life. The boss plunged the knife at what would have been her heart, but Lakuri jerked away, causing the large cut that would make her scar later on. Lakuri screamed as loud as se possibly could because the pain of this was too great; then she immediately blacked out.
And only a few seconds later a cop car pulled up.
They where called by one of the businesses in the area, saying that there was trouble.
Lakuri woke up in the hospital about a week later. Her entire middle of her body was wrapped tightly in bandaged, and her cut had been stitched below all of this. Lakuri could barely even move for quite some time all she could do was look around at the white room, and all of its beeping.
The doctors where all very surprised she was awake, at least this soon since her body was still in shock. But in actuality, her body was healing a lot faster then most peoples would.
After Lakuri was feeling well enough to sit up, and talk like a normal person, a lot of people started to come in to question her about everything that happened, and who she was. But Lakuri didn’t want to answer those questions, since she was still in fear of getting in trouble. She wasn’t allowed to speak of anything to anyone; that was one of her main rules.
Lakuri would pretend like she was to hurt to talk, or just play dumb every time she was asked something she didn’t want to answer until she got well enough to walk. Then Lakuri left all together.
The first few weeks where very difficult for her; She really should have stayed in the hospital, but for her, it was too scary in there.
She also had to watch out for any gang members too. Lakuri changed her appearance around so that she would be less recognizable. She chopped off her long blond hair into being just above her shoulders, and dyed it a dark brown-black color.
Once it had been a few more months, without incident Lakuri finally knew… she was free!
For the next few years Lakuri did simple odd jobs people needed to get done to live while she regained all of her previous strength, and her side healed up as if it were nothing. It just left a huge scar on her.
She still had a bit of a bad streak in her, and would often steal things, just for the heck of it, but otherwise she was very obedient to anyone that told her to do things and was very happy when strangers where nice to her.
This got her into a few trouble spots, which where just people taking advantage of poor little Kuri, but she always got her way back out.
Lakuri lived her life this way for the longest time. Simply stealing to eat, and doing odd jobs if she wanted anything else. The dye had faded a while back, and her hair had darkened a bit from being her before blond, to a light brown color naturally. No more need to hide.
It wasn’t until Lakuri was seventeen that things started to happen.
There where all these little monsters that had started popping up, and she had no idea how to beat them….
-----
Since Lakuri arrived in Traverse Town, Her life as taken a giant change for the better. The people here don’t try to take advantage of the poor girl as a lot of the people in her past had, so she has a lot more friends now; and then one special person in particular. The first one she ever met in Traverse Town.
Lakuri now lives with her boyfriend Kyriu, at his house. He was the first person she had met when she arrived, since he saved her from a group of heartless, then the rest is pretty predictable, they fell in love.
However, just because Lakuri is now happier, doesn’t mean things are any easier for her. The physical difficulties have lessened, since she doesn’t have to worry anymore about how she is going to eat, or where she is going to sleep. However, the emotional difficulties have magnified by a hundred.
Kyriu isn’t quite so well… in the head mostly. But Lakuri has defiantly had to step up and use her white magic powers on him before to save his life. She’s learned how to use her healing powers very well in the year or so that she has been with him.
Very recently however, Kyriu has needed to not fight; as much as possible, and is facing more mental issues as ever. Lakuri tries her very best to stay strong for him, and now needs to find a way to protect them both, or risk losing everything she has.
Role Playing Sample:Lakuri was lying down on a grassy hill, simply just dozing off as she liked to do. She really enjoyed the sunlight; it was always so warm and just made her very sleepy!
And today was especially nice because she had been working on getting things for herself all night the night before, so taking a nap sounded like a fantastic idea.
However, she was interrupted from her nap by a few strange noises, such as a loud crashing noise.
Lakuri looked around, and really didn’t see anything, the flopped back over.
it’s nothing, don’t worry about it she though as she tried to fall back asleep.
The noises however proceeded to get louder. Lakuri lifted her head again but now saw a few little black creatures, with yellow eyes approaching her.
They looked kind of cute actually, but she had no idea what they where.
Lakuri sat up completely and called to one of them.
“Hey little guy… come here!” she said happily and reached out her hand friendlily towards it.
The creatures looked unsurely at her with their yellow eyes.
“its ok little guy, I won’t hurt you, I promise.” she said and smiled at it.
“what are you? A little dog?” She asked and moved a little closer to examine to creatures.
A few more then started to pop up, and now started to move closer. This scared Lakuri a bit, so she got to her feet.
“Hey where did you come from!?” she asked and started to back away as they started to come closer to her.
I don’t have any food for you guys, please back off!” she said to them. She was fine where there was one or two, but now that they where starting to surround her, she wasn’t liking this too much.
The creatures then decided that it was time to attack. A few bit at her legs and a few jumped at her.
”Ow! That hurts! Leave me alone!” She screamed and swatted away at them, then turned to start running.
Lakuri didn’t get very far though, because more even stranger creatures started to show up, and these ones weren’t so cute. She still tried to run past these too, but it didn’t work, they wouldn’t stop attacking!
Lakuri tried her best to kick or swat them away, but there just was too many of them!
“Someone help me! Please!!” She yelled. This could not end well.
Some of the weird creatures where bigger then she was! There was no way she could fight them all off!
But she still tried. Lakuri tried her very hardest to fight back now that she knew for sure that they weren’t nice, but she could only get rid of one or two by the time that four or five could appear in.
Eventually, their numbers where to great, and everything suddenly went black, and Lakuri feel to the ground.
When she finally would be awake again, she would find herself in Traverse Town.
