In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

This will be Confusing so I will have to Start off Saying I'm sorry.
We start at the end of KH BBS. If you watched the Final mix endings and what not you will understand this better.
Terra, was taken over by Xehonort, thus having two hearts in one body. In the ending it was stated that Terra would defend his heart even if he had lost his body. Because someone with Light had touched his heart. This goes back to Riku, would was destined to be the True keyblade wielder who Terra Chose.
When they combined they lost their memory and the incident happened that turned them into a Heartless and No body. This is where is gets Confusing. When Riku gets taken over by Ansem, The Heart that Terra was protecting was implanted in him. That is why it was easier for him to stay in the Ansem form. Meaning Riku has Terra's heart in his body.
We are now going to go back to Ventus, who lost his heart, his heart was Freed. With no where to go to, it implanted it's self into Sora's body. Thus when Sora because a Heartless, Roxas became Ventus's nobody. This was the First Evidence that Sora had two hearts in him at the same time. also I believe there is a second Nobody, Sora's true nobody.
PS. The Reason Roxas can use two key blades is because Sora housed two hearts.
In Kingdom hearts 3D besides the mark of Mastery they are trying to Find the three Keyblade wielders from 12 years ago. Aqua, Ventus, and Terra. The King and Yen Sid Know that Aqua is in the Realm of Darkness. They know Ventus is in Sora, because of Roxas. They now look for Terra's heart because his Body will Reappear with Xehonort. The reason they can't find it is because it is Safe in Riku.

It's a great theory, though I can't understand some of it.
Just one note though, the reason Roxas wields two keyblades is because of it's symbolization of Sora's two dearest friends, Riku ( Oblivion ) and Kairi ( Oathkeeper ). Well, I think I read it officially somewhere.
I'll Summerize it. Riku has terra's heart. Xehornort has his body. Ventus's heart is in Sora, Roxas is Ventus's nobody. Sora had another nobody out there.

Also...Roxas is the nobody of Sora. He looks like Ventus for connection reason of Ventus being within Sora. Sora became a heartless...not Ventus, and if Roxas' was Ventus' Nobody...he shouldn't be doing the nobody merging dance becoming whole with Sora. (Perhaps Ventus' Heart stayed with Roxas...hence explaining the abilities for obtaining emotions. Also...Ventus body is in Castle Oblivion...so Roxas..can't be the mind and body...of a heart...when the mind and body...already exist in sleeping limbo.)
Also...Riku's transformation into Ansem been explained before BBS...since Ansem marked him with his darkness...and Riku's exploration through darkness in CoM. Soo it was darkness and his control of it that had Riku stabled I doubt Terra's heart have anything to do with it, because the concept was already stable to role with before BBS was fleshed out.
Yuppers. Terra's Heart is housed within Xemnas, which explains his obsession with Aqua's empty armour and his housing inside of Castle Oblivion (an attempt to find the Room of Sleep).
Meanshile, Master Xehanort's side transferred to Ansem, which explains the whole "Seeker of Darkness" bit.

...but both halves showed obsession to kingdom hearts and dictatorship; Ansem wanted Kingdom Hearts to rewrite the worlds in the image of eternal darkness (which goes along with Xehanort belief of darkness), while Xemnas to dictate everything in the image of nothingness, since nothingness is absolute. They both want to do the wiggle dance with Kingdom Hearts displayed alignment with Master Xehanort.
Even his obssession for the X-Blade appeared in the anagram names of the Org Members.
With Xehanort the apprentice being the by-product...he wooould have so attachments of Terra including memories (which nobodies have. Remember complete lack of memory for a Nobody is rare as hell)..hence Aqua suit....doesn't neccessarily guarantee...oh Terra's heart in there.
If so I'm sure Xemnas would be able to convery emotions, which he fakes quite well.
Well, there are a handful of unique Nobodies and Nomura has confirmed that Xemnas is one of those. He was centered on finding Ven and Aqua, so I am guessing that he was strongly linked to Terra, if he wasn't exactly Terra.
Assuming we're talking of someone who's lost their heart:
The strength of their will is parallel to:
Whether or not they produce a Nobody.
How strong the Nobody is/what form the Nobody takes.
The will is almost directly connected to the soul, which gives the body life. (A person, in the KH universe, is made of a heart, a soul, and a body.) It directs the body to follow the heart's orders, but the body and soul can exist without a heart.
The amount of darkness in their heart is parallel to:
The form of their Heartless.
The strength of the Heartless, including abilities and such. Like with Nobodies, the Heartless have a pecking order.
A Heartless is the person's heart devoured by darkness, therefore the body and soul are floating about somewhere else. If the person's will is weak, they will not produce a Nobody and often times the body and soul will wither away and die. Sora, when his heart was taken- or given, or stolen, or offered, whatever you say- it contained such little darkness that his Heartless was a tiny lil' shadow. But, because his will was strong, Roxas happened.
"We are now going to go back to Ventus, who lost his heart, his heart was Freed. With no where to go to, it implanted it's self into Sora's body. Thus when Sora because a Heartless, Roxas became Ventus's nobody. This was the First Evidence that Sora had two hearts in him at the same time. also I believe there is a second Nobody, Sora's true nobody.
PS. The Reason Roxas can use two key blades is because Sora housed two hearts."
When Terra/Xehanort shanked himself with the Keyblade, Nomura said it did not result in two separate Nobodies. Thus, I don't think that would happen with Sora/Ventus. After all, a Nobody is the remaining body and soul after the heart is taken; Sora/Ventus (and Terra/Xehanort) may have been two separate hearts, but at that time they shared a single body and will, so a single Nobody was created.
And I think the "unusual Nobodies" comment in regards to Xemnas was because he didn't have all of his memories? I don't know, maybe he did. But the thought of him having a heart makes me >.O or D: and such. XD
Sorry for any confusion, and I used a smaller sized font because my attempt at an explanation is long enough already. No one make a single comment about me ranting like Xemnas.

Well my thing is, Xemnas was singularly focused on his own goals, contrary to Ansem's lust for Darkness, no matter what way it was achieved. Ansem carried out EXACTLY what MX was attempting to do, in other words, and Xemnas did nothing to replicate his actions or attitude.
I am just saying that each of them took on a different personality, one of MX's and the other of Terra's. Their actions say so. So, in other words, when they are both killed, Terranort will be restored, NOT MX, as Mickey and the others seem to believe. After all... I don't think they (Mickey and Yen Sid) realize that MX transplanted bodies. They seem to think that MX will return as a golden oldie, when Terra and him are still linked.
Terra, was taken over by Xehonort, thus having two hearts in one body. In the ending it was stated that Terra would defend his heart even if he had lost his body. Because someone with Light had touched his heart. This goes back to Riku, would was destined to be the True keyblade wielder who Terra Chose.
It's also highly probable that Terra meant Master Eraqus, not Riku. Note Xehanort's reaction to Terra's hinting. When Eraqus was defeated and Xehanort dealt the final blow, Eraqus faded through Terra. It's possible he transferred something within him to his pupil similar to Kairi slipping through Sora in Kingdom Hearts 1, explaining Terra's resiliance and Xehanort's surprise that he was still resisting.
PS. The Reason Roxas can use two key blades is because Sora housed two hearts.
Partial credit. The theory is sound but the specifics are off. The reason Roxas can use two keyblades is because he merged with Xion, in the only relevant thing she added to the series. Both were keyblade wielders sharing one original form, and when combined, Roxas was able to, in a sense, copy/paste his own ability to wield. This also explains why, after merging with Roxas, Sora is able to triple-wield keyblades, as shown in the Final Mix+ fight against Roxas, being that he was now formed by himself and Roxas and Xion by proxy.
The Terra/Xehanort/Ansem/Xemnas web is complex, but decypherable through the in-game givens. The biggest fold is were Xehanort ends and Terra begins. In the secret reports from 358/2 Days, Xemnas eludes to having ulterior motives that go against what he had told everyone else within the Organization, Saix and possibly Xigbar included. It's hinted that he wanted to reshape the worlds in an image of his choosing through the power of Kingdom Hearts, so in that his motives are still in line with Master Xehanort's, though the direct specifics are unknown.
For the sake of argument, Xemnas could either still be on board with Xehanort's plan, OR it's possible that Xemnas, ever-manipulative, was actually some form of Terra, looking for some way to undo his damage he wrought upon the worlds by not taking one simple step to the left, possibly trying to reunite with Ventus and Aqua, whose armor he frequented in the Chamber of Sleep, continuing to call it "friend". He WAS rather obsessed with finding Ven, to the point of sending half of the Organization to Castle Oblivion in order to find him (or to some members, under the guise of experimenting on memory). Axel was sent back numerous times solely to search for the Chamber of Waking, and when Roxas had fallen asleep again after Xion had gone rogue, Xemnas approached the sleeping Nobody and said "So. Sleep has taken you again." Terra's memories seeping through Xehanort's hold? Or Terra's lamentations?
I am fairly certain that with Terra and Xehanort's merging, what we resulted with was Ansem, Xehanort's corrupted heart in Terra's form, and Xemnas, the Nobody of Terra, with Xehanort's memories. But as Terra proved to be fending Xehanort from completely encroaching on his heart and body, who is to say where those lines totally blur and one isn't the other?
And on the topic of the XIII, has anyone else picked up on the fact that Xigbar and Saix are the only ones with yellow eyes and pointy ears? A trait they share with Master Xhanort, while both were closest to Xemnas in terms of allegiance, plotting and rank?
