Name: Guldan Malore (Mal--ore)
Theme song Battle MusicNickname: Branded as a "Heretic" by the church, who also call him "Demon Eye"
Age: 20
Gender: male
Species: magically altered human
Position: neutral good
Powers: Rapid Healing Because of the magic infused in his right eye, Guldan heals faster then a normal human, as such a would will heal twice as fast than if it would of normally would, however because of this, Guldan needs the same amount of calories as if it would of taken the longer time, requiring him to eat more food than the common man. The more serious wounds he can't quickly recover from, as it would utterly kill himself trying heal such a wound as a stab through the chest, simple because the hyper healing uses energy already in his body, which is why he consumes so much food.
Brace for Impact Guldan stabs his sword into the ground, and creates a shield in front of him, blocking nearly all but that of the most strongest spells. Only usable against magic, physical attacks break the shield. Can't be used for five posts after the use of shield.
Rushing Air Slice Guldan runs toward the enemy, performing an upward slash with such force, a blast of wind erupts from the tip of the blade, flinging enemies into the air. Guldan can't turn very well while doing this. Cannot be used for two posts after use.
Bullet Time!Guldan takes out multiple clips of ammo and starts to juggle them, only to fling them into the air. Then he quickly draws his pistols, fires rapidly, while constantly reloading from the falling clips, which creates a stream of bullets. However, the shots can only be fired into a direct line of sight, or basically a straight line. Also a strong attack, or a speedy move, can knock the clips from the air onto the ground, making the power useless. Takes one post to prepare the next post to fire em off, can only be used after ten posts of firing. Special ammo cannot be used along with this power.
Special Ammo Guldan cannot normally cast magic in a simple matter, like how most people he has come across can say "FIRE" and a large fireball hurls towards his head. How he has found he can use magic is by funneling it through tools, like weapons, he has attempted to use his sword as the basis for the magic, but it ended up being almost a forest fire at the time. What he did discover however was that he could somehow "enchant" his bullets with magical properties and fire them of like any normal bullet with only the normal wear and tear. What he can "enchant" with however is limited to what magic he does know, and the strength of the shot is also determined by the level of the magic, as fira is stronger than fire. All of his known magic can be used, reflect may help an ally block an attack, or if he missed, help the enemy. The only other downfall is that using the ammo consumes Guldan's MP as if he was casting magic, he just happens to shoot it. Can be used as long as MP is available, costs the same as if it was like normal magic.

Limit BreakOnly one of the following Limit Breaks may be used once a thread.
Eye of the Devil Guldan releases the power from his right eye, for three posts all of Guldan releases the full power from his right eye, gaining increased speed, in which he seems to leave shadow images from behind his wake. Leaves image clones, and increases speed, however it can be canceled by magic that draws enemies close, also by "blinding of the eye," after all the eye is whats gives him his power.
Trickster/Slayer Combo Guldan's ultimate technique, also an advance form of Eye of the Devil, for the next three posts Guldan switches between two different styles of combat, from a short distance Trickster Style, to a long distance Slayer Style. While in Trickster, Guldan wields his Terra pistol along with Skoll, he pulls combo after combo, rapidly shooting his gun in his left hand while slashing with his blade in his right, in the process of the combos, Guldan avoids his enemies attacks, as well as feint random attacks, all to infuriate, confuse, and irritate the enemy. However Slayer is the absolute opposite, in which the gun is wielded in the right and the blade is held backwards in a defensive stance, and Guldan fires shots from a distance. usable once a thread, a last resort limit, consumes all of Guldan's energy, as such he collapses after its use.
Weapon:Messor and Terra Guldan's custom pistols, each holstered on his sides,
Messor is a long barreled silver M1911 with a custom grip built for for comfort, designed for longer distanced shots, while
Terra is of a much shorter barreled black M1911 with a grip designed for a quicker draw and rapid fire.
Skoll Guldan's favorite weapon, given to him by his Uncle, a magical blade enchanted to never dull nor break, even under intense stress from guarding with the fine edge of the blade. The weapon itself has the size of that to be easily wielded one handed, but big enough for use of two hands, hence the hand-and-a-half hilt. The weapon has no element properties, but is immune to the harshness of nature, rust is just one of these.
Appearance: Standing around six foot three, Guldan has
short messy spiked brown hair. Both of his eyebrows are slightly bushy, as well as the small goatee that only covers his chin, not to mention the mustache that comes from his upper lip towards the goatee. His left eye is a liquid blue, almost turquoise in color, his right eye however is a deep blood red, with a slitted pupil, his trademark "devil's eye," he also has a X shaped scar across his right eye and face, starts from the tips of his eyebrows, one line going down to his lower lip, the other his right cheek. Guldan wears a large thin red coat with no hood but many pockets, as well as hidden straps in the inside folding where various ammo clips are hidden, and on his back is the sheath for his sword, where it usually resides. On the upper body, a dark grey tank top like vest is worn, designed for easy movement with the thin cloak, worn over this vest it the body holster for both his pistols, for easy grabbing. His legs are covered by black cargo pants held by straps on the knees and right above the feet, he wears short combat boots, allowing easy movement when he fights. Last we have his hands, each is covered by dark grey leather gloves that have the fingers and thumbs cut, under the glove of his right hand, he has a scar from the index finger knuckle down to the base of the hand, along his back he also has numerous scars, some look as if from burns, while others deep cuts.
Personality: Guldan likes to take it easy, not overly lazy, he will still work if asked, but will not generally jump to the task to help out. Usually in this free time he has, he cleans his two guns, making sure they never jam during a fight, when not doing that, he will most likely be eating, he does this a lot, or practice his swordsmanship. Nothing really fazes him, insults on how he acts he doesn't care for, however he can't stand the whole "buts its the law" talk, he has no care for any laws, if he helps someone its not cause the law demands it, but he wanted to do it. Guldan does however have a small case of claustrophobia, where if he is ever in a closed space for far too long, he will indeed start to panic. If in a cave for example, he may get a little nervous, however if he can feel a breeze or the simple knowledge of how to get out exactly seems to calm his nerves. A bounty hunter at heart, he lives for the adventure the chase the criminal brings, only to end up fighting them, where things get interesting. When Guldan fights, he will try to play on the emotions of the enemy, calling them names, laughing at their skills, even making faces from time to time. This generally confuses the enemy, irritating them enough to break there concentration, but the one problem to this is the fact Guldan will sometimes waste energy "playing" with the enemy, so a very tactical person may see this and use it against him, only if he notices it doesn't work does he get serious.
Original World: Dalamear
Current World: Traverse Town
History: The world of Dalamear is where Guldan was born, a world controlled excessively by a govern body known only as The Church, all of its preachings, teachings, and morals made law. It was during the rise of the Church that technology flourished, and with the power of medicine, magic was considered inferior, bring the Church to its next step in dominance. Once the Church came to full power, magic was banned, after all the basic fundamentals were irrational, going against everything the Church had preached for ages, that God is the creator of all. This was what the people were lead to believe, but the truth was that magic was banned for its power in advancing technology, creating a form of Alchemy, where one can recreate almost anything with the proper exchange. The knowledge of this scared the Church, if anyone with such a power existed, the people would ask questions on what was true, not what is known.
At the start Guldan's life was filled with pain, even with the use of the medicine, Marie Malore was killed when giving birth to her one and only child. This pushed his father over the edge, Dr. Alexander Malore looked to Alchemy, as just technology would never bring his wife to life, nor did it save her. To hide his research in the "dark arts," Dr. Malore payed off many higher ups to look the other way, to not question where exactly the new medicine he developed came from. Sadly this obsession with his work left little attention for his son Guldan, whom was left to be raised by his Uncle Baug Whisenton, a veteran swordsman whom had traveled the country bounty hunting.
For the next sixteen years, Guldan trained and learned all he could from his uncle, becoming a young adept swordsman, even how to shoot pistols from a quick draw fast and accurate, as well as to take time and aim for the perfect spots to disarm or disable an opponent without killing them. Happy as the times where for Guldan, it didn't last, his uncle told him that, he was indeed a fine swordsman, but the rest he must learn on his own. Giving him his very own sword, one that Buag himself had forged, enchanted by the very art banned by the Church. After Guldan learned of the nature of the weapon, he gave his uncle a puzzled look, whereas Baug taught Guldan his first spell, fire, telling him to only use magic when all else fails, least he become a target for the Church. Finally it came for Guldan to leave, as he walked from the one person he believed to have been a better father than his own, he decided to see how his father was, mainly to figure out exactly why he never saw much of him.
For nearly two months Guldan traveled, nearly getting lost in a few forests along the way, only to stop short in his hometown before his father's estate outside the city. While in a pub hoping to learn the resent news, he saw a group of Church enforcers harassing several of the serving girls as they walked by, their screams only adding to the laughter. After the sixth time or so, Guldan had it, drawing his pistol named Terra, he quickly shot the glass from one of the enforcers hands, right when he was getting a drink. The room quickly fell silent, no one dared move as the group of enforcers glared at the lone young man who had a smug grin on his face as he asked: "Whats wrong cat got your tongue?" Right as the men where about to attack the lone figure, the captain of enforcers stopped them, telling them that they should not of been so foolish to play right into the young man's hand. Making sure they left to there barracks, the captain turned to face Guldan, seeing him as barely into his manhood, grabbed him by his collar of his jacket and lifted him off the floor, where he said plainly: "You young man would of normally would of been killed for harassing my men into a fight, but as i can see you have not been raised properly, i will have to teach you a lesson." Taking his rather large knife, he quickly dropped Guldan to the ground, where he then slashed in a X formation on his right eye, creating deep cuts. Falling to the ground clutching his now useless eye, Guldan screamed in agony, no one moved to help the "marked," one who was forced to walk around with a X shaped scare visible on there body, someone marked by the church as a heretic. Walking out of the pub, the captain turned his head slightly, glancing at the young Guldan's glaring left eye, he said almost to himself: "If you survive that wound, I would like to see what kind of man you would make."
Looking at the faces of the grim people in the pub, noticing they were avoiding him, Guldan quickly got to his feet and made his way to his father's house, hoping he would help him, all the while he heard murmurs of "poor kid," as well as "serves him right." Once he finally reached the estate, he had lost so much blood he could barley stand, he rang the door bell, and as the butler opened the door, he saw a blood soaked young man clutching his right eye, who collapsed after saying: "Please take me to my father." Realizing that he was Guldan, his master's son, the butler quickly called for some maids to help him carry him to the doctor's lab, whom after seeing his sound near death, felt a cold chill enter his heart. Nearly insane from constant work, but also scared for his son's life, Dr Malore decided he could put his research to rest long enough to save his son, and give him his vision back in his right eye. BY cleaning the wound, he quickly realized that if he didn't "create" and eye for his son, he may never see from his right side, he thought of what would be the best substance to use as a source of vision. No one knows exactly why, most believe it was in fact that he was indeed insane from obsessing over his long dead wife, Dr Malore decided to use the most rarest material known to the world, as well as the most dangerous, an Alchemist Stone.
Asking help from one of his colleagues he had once worked with, Dr Malore began the delicate process of carving an Alchemist Stone into a clear shaped sphere, the colleague, who had known of Dr Malore's alchemy activities, warned of the use of the stone. He stated that they never were able to completely study the material, that no one knows what it will do if entered into the blood stream, let alone used as an eye. Dr Malore quickly turned his comments down, asking him to carefully remove the last of Guldan's unusable eye, while trying to heal the scars as best he could. After Guldan's right eye socket was cleaned, and the stone completely smooth with the proper enchantments, did they began the inserting of the "eye." Once the final nerve was connected and enchantment fixated to Guldan's system, the stone flared at first a bright white, then suddenly turned a deep red, as well as seeming to burn the enchantments off. While this all happened, Guldan screamed as the stone fully fused with his anatomy, his recently closed cuts opened up once more, only to completely heal in mere moments. Further changes happened to Guldan's body, first the eye settled, finally settled as a deep red with a slitted iris, apparently it had enhanced the enchantment already on its self, next he seemed to be as if he was healthier, his blood a richer color, his immunity boosted, and lastly, it seemed he was stronger as well, his muscles for defined. Both scientists where baffled, never had they ever witnessed such a strange sight, the stone was actually appeared like a real live eye.
Over the next four years after he lost his eye, but gained another, Guldan traveled once more, learning his place in the world, as well as being studied the whole time by his own father. He found a calling in bounty hunting, ignoring the law and regulations the enforcers used, but hunted the criminals he thought were guilty, even when all others gave up. During this time Guldan discovered that he no longer could easily cast magic, this frustrated him to no end, to be able do something, but then not. It was by pure accident that he discovered that if he used something as a basis for the magic, by "enchanting" it he was able to add properties for a short amount of time while he still had energy. He also discovered that it took about the same with something he was familiar with, however he quickly realized bathing his sword in fire took a heavy toll, instead he started to use bullets as the basis. Loading his guns with the "special ammo" resulted in no change in the fire rate, it didn't slow, but he could only fire a limited amount before he ran out magic, so to speak. Another discovery he made was that, for a short time, his right eye could further increase his abilities, but he also found its weaknesses as well, simply holding him in place caused him to waste it, while anything blinding stopped it altogether.
Nearly everyone knew his name by now, after all he was one of the most wanted men by the Church, even though he had helped them defend numerous cities form heartless. While a darkness spread through the land, the heartless seemed to grow in number, attacking and spreading like wildfire. Guldan fearing that his insane father, who was once again obsessed with finding a cure for death, would fall into the hands of the heartless, returned home. On the grounds of the estate however, he found nothing but ruins, and his father surrounded by many shadows, and before he was swallowed by the darkness, he cried out to Guldan: "I understand now, to bring her back all i needed was her heart!" Horrified at what his father had said, Guldan jumped into the darkness as well, trying to save his father, only to black out at the last moment. When he awoke, he was in a large area surrounded by buildings, most notably a large "Dress & Suit" shop with a rather ridiculous man in a hat holding a sign.
Role Playing Sample: Guldan had no idea where he was, it seemed to him he was in some sort of town, or was it a city? Glancing around the area he was in, and noticed a man walking towards two large doors. Quickly catching up to him, Guldan noticed he seemed in a kind of a hurry.
"Excuse me can you tell me where am I?" Guldan asked carefully, why scare the first person you meet in a strange new place.
"Hmm another new arrival huh? Well let me welcome you to Traverse Town, I would give you a proper welcome, but this area is sort of infested with heartless, and I really need to get to the first district where its safe," the man hurriedly said, moving quickly past Guldan into the first district. Guldan stopped, realizing that his world was most likely long gone, and his father, he didn't know what to think of him, he had embraced the darkness...
While Guldan was deep in his thoughts, he failed to notice some rather large yellow eye looking at him with a strange hunger, and before he knew it, he was surrounded by many shadows, as well as a few soldiers. Drawing Skoll quickly, Guldan thought to himself,
Great first time here and I already have to fight. Reaching the first shadow, Guldan slashed in a downward motion, slaying it almost instantly, grunting as he blocked its counter he swore, these heartless where stronger than the ones on his world. Quickly going to a better defensive position, Guldan drew his Messor, loaded a prepared special ammo clip, fired off a couple of Fire Shots, aiming carefully at the heartless' head. A few fell before he was low on magic, reloading his gun and holstering it, he pulled out about ten clips from his jacket.
"Well it seems you will not give up, and being as your far to smelly for me to cope with. I believe its time for a shower, even if its of bullets!" He laughed in mockery at the heartless while juggling the clips, even if he knew they most likely wouldn't respond. Suddenly throwing the clips in the air, Guldan drew his pistols and fired the entire clip of both of them, and quickly reloaded on the first falling clip down to the ground, creating a steady hail of bullets at the heartless mob. By the time the last clip fell, Guldan looked at his handy work, nearly all the heartless where slain, the ones left fleeing as their comrades died. Panting while picking up the discarded empty clips, he wondered if he could resupply on some ammo in that "first district" place that guy was talking about. Walking towards the doors, deep in thought, Guldan wondered if anyone would be able to help him find a way to restore his planet, or at least he could try to prevent it from happening to others.
Whistling while he entered the first district, he noticed an assortment of little shops, even a place to eat. Looking at how much munny he had, Guldan walked toward the eating area,
perhaps this will not be so bad was set right in his mind.
