In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Rose was bored. Rose was alone. Those two facts conspired to make her turn on her computer, and scroll through some music. That one... she thought to herself. Glancing around to make absolutely sure she was by herself, she sat on the fountian, and pressed play.
As the song began to play she took abreath, and began to sign along.

The night was a quiet one...which was quite usual for this place. Still sky, absent breeze...and complete silence. A lone man walked down the street and quite an unusual person he was. Red hair, strong build...and a very intense look about him....and this person...was rarely seen.
Most people figured he was ghost...as he never spoke...just passed the streets paying no attention to the others. However this clam stillness was distrurbed as a loloud noise started to grow around the corner.
As Kanji made his way toward the noise...he began to wonder...what kind of individual would be here tonight?
In a few minutes he spotted his target. He it was strange to see such an odd person out tonight. Without saying a word he placed both hands in his pockets and approached the stranger out of interest.
(No problem, though if you hadn't just barged out, you coulda listened to her finish the song. Also, spell check.)
Someone came around the corner. Rose immediately shut her mouth, paused the music program, and glared at the newcomer. Of course someone would have to show up just as she was starting to relax. She lowered her left arm, as her right touched the handle of her sword. She wasn't going to pull it, but man was she irritated. Interupted in the middle of one of her favorite songs.
Beneath her, Halen twitched at her sudden mood shift. He poked his head out of her shadow, and looked at the unknown. Then he pulled his head back in, and shot out of her shadow, off to the left. He slid up the wall, and waited for his orders.
The red head stopped suddenly sensing that something was off. It wasn't even like him to just walk around carelessly...perhaps he needed to get some more sleep. However there was the matter of this person to deal with.
Kanji was prepared for an attack but he wanted to avoid that if possible, maybe he could extract some useful information....but who knows just what kind of person he was dealing with. He was still too far to notice anything strange..and after a while he stopped at a good distance from the person though he was in speaking range.
His eyes traveled the area then rested on his target again.
However he needed just a few more seconds to see weather or not he should attempt to converse.
The man narrowed his eyes a bit..feeling slightly annoyed..however this quickly went away as he clammed down. True he did disturb her...it was his own doing...one he shouldn't have done...however that was no reason to be quite rude.
How he missed Saga these days....where did that woman go anyway? Pushing the thought out of his head Kanji decided to address the girl.
'' I was taking walk....I was unaware that it was a crime. As for what I want....nothing, upon seeing someone other then myself out this late..I decided to investigate...'' Kanji said still feeling a bit wary.
Rose narrowed her eyes. "Technically speaking, no. But where I'm from, walking around unannounced is enough to get a person shot. Fatally," she said in a non-threatening tone of voice. She sighed, and shut down her computer. So much for alone time. "I'm Rose. And the shadow on the wall behind you is Halen. Halen, get back here." The Neoshadow slipped down the wall, and slid under the newcomer, back into Rose's shadow. At least he was getting to relax. "So, who are you?" she asked, less rudely.

Things appeared to be looking up...in a weird short of way. At least he was getting somewhere, and for some reason the man seemed to relax a little. Perhaps it was because the strange wary feeling he had seemed to have slipped away....now it was time to speak.
'' I am known as Kanji...a pleasure to meet you..It is currently dangerous out here...although you do seem to have be equipped for that...may i ask how long u plan to stay out here?''
(spell check out the wazzoo) "I planned to stay until someone bugged me, but I might as well stick around. It isn't like there's anything else going on." Rose shrugged, and reactivated her computer. "What kind of music do you like?"
Halen climbed out of Rose's shadow, and walked close to Kanji. He circled him, slowly, sniffing his aura, testing the light in his heart. Good guy. Much light, he said to Rose.

Kanji was getting less and less found of the dark being. What was with the light comment? No one saw him parading in paladin armor and fighting off the evil forces....and he hadn't done anything out of the ordinary that proved that he was a righteous source of good....well..there was that incident...with the drunken man..but never mind that!
The redhead bilnked at Rose's question. There she went being rude again, that being said...music? That was something he rarely thought of...hm...what kind of music did a person like him listen too...strange.
'' Hm.....i didn't mind what you were listening to earlier....that was just fine..'' kaniji said then eyed the dark sky that refused to leave.
"Sorry, but there are some things I only do alone. Hmm..." Rose looked at her computer, scrolling through the song list. Halen, bored, began pacing around. There was something a little... off, but he couldn't pinpoint it.
